“Ela could not have been more amazing with our Puppy, Panda! She sent us regular updates and her and her partner and daughter gave him lots of cuddles and love. We will definitely be using Ela again. It is so so reassuring to know that your dog is being well cared for and looked after as though they’re at home. Thanks again Ela!”

“Rob and Courtney were lovely and took care to really make sure they had all the information to make my doggy’s stay with them as good as possible. They sent updates and kept me in the loop what they were doing with him. They’re clearly both caring dog people and I’d recommend them to anyone. Thank you 😊”

“Rhys was very friendly and flexible as our arrival time shifted on the day. Scout seemed to have a great time with lots of lovely walks and he settled nicely overnight. I would highly recommend a stay or care from Rhys and if we’re on holiday in the area again we’d rebook straight away.”

“They where amazing and the dogs where treated like part of the family, they where great with updates and pictures will defo use in the future ! They really are lovely people !”

About: We absolutely love experiencing and exploring new places with our doggies (as you'll see from the photos). I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats, and my first career was in veterinary nursing, which I practised for five years before welcoming my daughter into the world. Although that was some time ago, my background has given me invaluable experience in animal care, including administering medication, recognising changes in behaviour, and ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I now work in a school, which gives me plenty of availability during school holidays. My husband works from home, so there is usually someone around to provide company, supervision, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Our home is shared with our two friendly and mischievous Mini Goldendoodles, Philip and Wilbur, and our cat, Pumpkin. We offer a warm family environment with a secure walled garden, patio area, and spacious reception rooms with plenty of room for play, relaxation, and the occasional zoomies. We also have two animal-loving children (aged 8 and 11) who enjoy helping to give visiting pets lots of affection and attention. Every dog is different, so walks and activities can be tailored to suit their age, energy level, ability, and individual needs. Whether your pet enjoys long adventures, gentle strolls, playtime, or simply a cosy place to relax, we will do our best to make them feel happy, comfortable, and part of the family while they are with us. I work part-time in a school, which means I have plenty of time available for walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the week and during school holidays. My husband works from home full-time, so there is usually someone around to provide supervision, attention, and plenty of fuss throughout the day. We are fortunate to have access to beautiful local beaches, woodland walks, and open fields, allowing us to tailor each walk to suit your dog's age, energy level, and individual needs. Most dogs can enjoy two walks per day, typically ranging from 40 minutes to an hour, alongside garden time, enrichment, and plenty of cuddles at home. Every dog is different, so their routine can be adapted to ensure they are comfortable, happy, and getting the right amount of exercise and stimulation. Whether your pup enjoys energetic adventures or gentle strolls, we'll make sure they feel right at home with us. On the weekend we love exploring and going for days out as a family, furries and all! We have a fairly big house with lots of space for relaxing, play and zoomies, accompanied by decent sized, grassy garden and patio area. We have plenty of room for your dog to be crated if desired. Our dogs are all friendly and your pet would be treated like one of the family.
“Really appreciate Mark for looking after our three year old Frenchie Hugo at very short notice. It was our first time using Rover so we were a little worried, but Mark made us feel completely at ease and we could tell he knows how to look after dogs. He gave us lots of updates and photos, took him on a nice walk and Hugo seemed like he enjoyed his day too. Thank you :)”

“Betty has just returned from a couple of days holiday with Barbara. She clearly had a very happy comfortable time as she ran between us and Barbara when we picked her up. Barbara is a warm kind person with a lovely home and garden just right for a dogs holiday.”

“Pepper stayed with Vanessa for two days and had a lovely time attempting to wrap Vanessa around her paw and gain treats at every opportunity 🤣. She clearly had a lovely time and is now snoozing off her mini break. Vanessa has really wonderful energy and it was clear to see that Pepper was happy to see her when we arrived and was very relaxed and content with her. I worry about Pepper because she didn’t have the best life before I rescued her so it’s a real relief to know she’s in such good hands when I’m away.”
About: I've looked after dogs from a young age and have had the pleasure of my own x2 pups for the past 4 years now. I've trained puppies both difficult and stubborn and helped raised multiple dogs having grown up with them since I was 3. I have first hand experience of untrained and unsocialized puppies who react and have trained them to the exact opposite. We have a big family home with a very large garden with lots of places to explore in all weathers, with loads of space for your pup to feel right at home inside. We have x2 pups of our own who love other dogs, one who is 4 and one who is 3. Having moved from London on the last year I know what it's like to leave your pups with a sitter for the day or week so have created a space I know my pups would love. I have all the time possible with your pup, with plenty of room for multiple dogs to play, sleep and explore. At the weekends our schedule is built round the dogs and going for walks to the locals parks like Oldway or the beach. Their care would be our main priority and with lots of places to explore in the garden and places to sleep they should find it a welcoming home from home. We have separate rooms if your pup likes to sleep alone and can feed separately if need be too. Just let me know.
“This was a bit of a last minute booking after having been let done by someone else, but what a stroke of luck that was for us, and for Pip. We met with Jeanette and John the week before, and Pip was very well behaved, and they seemed to have no reservations of having him, already set up with a box of toys, water bowls down for him. Jeanette and John were great with Pip and sent us plenty of updates over the few days we were away. Judging by how he looked in those pictures he was having the time of his life, and was totally at ease with them both. I would have absolutely no hesitation in booking with them again. Thank you so much !!”

“I can’t thank Jacqui and her family enough for the peace of mind I got leaving my fur babies with her. She really went the extra mile to make them feel at home including feeding Luna eggs every day! Will definitely have no hesitation leaving the dogs with Jacqui in future”

“We can't thank Sophie enough for taking such wonderful care of our very bouncy Sringer Harry! He obviously loved his stay with Sophie and her family. The love, care and attention shown is apparent and Harry is already looking forward to his next stay!”

“Our Penelope had an absolutely wonderful time with Julie! She’s a rather particular little sighthound, and over the years we’ve found it tricky to find the right person to care for her. From the moment we met Julie, our worries melted away, it was clear she truly understands and loves the breed. We couldn’t be happier, and we’ll definitely be booking again.”

“Olivia took fantastic care of my Cavapoo last week. He went for walks every day and she really took time to understand his individual needs and character. Olivia sent regular updates and my dog was very happy there. Olivia is reliable, communicates well and is extremely kind. I would highly recommend her.”
“Chantelle had our boy Oakley for a weekend and from the moment we started talking and met at her home we knew our boy was in safe hands. Amazing communication, checked in with us with pupdates. Oakley absolutely loved his break and he will definitely be back again. Thank you so much xx”

About: I (and my hubby Dean) love animals of all shapes and sizes. Since being very young I’ve always been around animals, dogs, cats, Guinea pigs & rabbits to name but a few. I’ve had pets from babies to old boys and girls so have had the heart break of nursing them and sadly losing them. I am just about to do an online dog first aid, grooming, training course level 3 in preparation to giving the best care to your precious fur baby. We have a 4 year old black Labrador called Stanley who loves having company and a play mate. PLEASE NOTE - Rover charge a booking fee on top of my fee ! I am home full time so can give all my time to caring for your dog. They will be pampered pooches. My hubby, Dean and I sometimes have little weekends away camping in our trailer tent so whilst you are on holiday your pup could be enjoying the great outdoors with us on their own mini break! We have a safe fenced garden with plenty of places to sniff and investigate. In the summer there is plenty of shade if they like to be outside. We have a large park close by and coastal walks dotted around. If they prefer a beach walk we can easily jump in the car and venture out to the dog friendly beaches.
“I was nervous to leave my boy with a dog sitter but I had no reason to worry at all. He has clearly had the best time being looked after by Nicky In her home. Regular updates of how he was getting on, and was great for him to make a new doggy friend too with Nicky’s own dog. I will be in touch next time he (I) need a holiday!!”

Freya had another wonderful stay with Mark and Donna. A very late booking and Mark was able to accommodate this week and next week. Freya is learning the skills of being a pooch and making fellow pooch friends. Mark is always there with photos and videos. A gem of a find.

Syd stayed with Vanessa for 19 days for his holiday , he was very relaxed and happy when I picked him up , Vanessa was very understanding about Syd as he is an old boy now and his needs more attention and lots of love and cuddles . It was great to have photos of Syd whilst we were away and updates on what they were up too most days . I know Syd will be happy to go and stay with Vanessa again . Thankyou Vanessa .

Rhys looked after our cavapoo Bailey while we went away and our experience was 10/10. Rhys is lovely and clearly loves animals. He was communicative and sent us pictures and videos while we were away. We went to Rhys home to introduce Bailey to him and to see where Bailey would be staying and it was clear Rhys' home was comfortable and safe for our dog 😊 we felt happy knowing Bailey was being looked after by Rhys!

Olivia took fantastic care of my Cavapoo last week. He went for walks every day and she really took time to understand his individual needs and character. Olivia sent regular updates and my dog was very happy there. Olivia is reliable, communicates well and is extremely kind. I would highly recommend her.
Betty was clearly very comfortable staying with Georgia and her partner and cats while we were away for the weekend. Georgia sent photos of Betty which were a great reassurance including ones of Betty settled on the sofa and walking in happy tandem with her cat. We will be happy to leave Betty to stay when we next need a local sitter.

Barbara and her family are an amazing bunch and couldn’t be happier with anyone else looking after them during the Christmas holidays. They made Zelda and Cyrus feel like part of the family and always kept me informed and made sure they both had a great time. Thank you for everything lovely x

This was our first time using Rover and Kimberly was absolutely amazing. I felt completely at ease leaving our Billy Boy with her. She sent us photos from his walks, kept us updated, and he came home happily exhausted. When we arrived, both she and her partner brought him to the door, which was such a warm touch. Thank you again! we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!x

Thank you Susie for looking after our 1 year old lab Sunday, for a week whilst we went on holiday. The daily pictures were much appreciated and I felt confident she was well looked after and having a great time. Already booked in again for a holiday and a wedding next year - would highly recommend 5* from us!

Holly had the best time with Stacey and Dave and their family and absolutely loved her new best friend Bertie. We had regular updates while we were away and Holly had a fabulous holiday herself, with trips to the beach and Cockington. She would love to stay again next time we go away 🐾🥰
