About: From the age of 6 my family adopted a dog and I walked and cared for him. Since then I have always loved dogs and their very individual personalities. Every time I visit my father in Spain, I happily am the one who cares for his dog. I am currently looking for work that I can do online, so that when I do have work, I would also be able to be home with the dog. Tuesdays and Wednesdays I usually visit a friend to work on an art project, although should you require a full week of dog sitting, book in advance and I can rearrange this. The dog would have access to a fenced garden. There are a few parks locally where the dog can also relieve themselves and exercise. Dogs being pack animals do love attention and I love to pet.

About: I am self-employed, which gives me a lot of flexibility with my availability and hours. I also have two animal-loving children who are at nursery and school during the day, allowing me plenty of time for feeding visits, companionship, playtime and check-ins 🐱💕 I understand how important it is for pet owners to know their cats are safe, comfortable and well cared for while they are away. I was so torn to leave her with strangers, who also provided day care to other fur babies. Mark was so reassuring with reassurance, photos, and videos that my time away was pleasurable and not filled with added worries. We met Vanessa before and did a couple of hours a few weeks prior to get the dogs used to it all, and the day they were staying for the weekend they were both itching to get in the house which as an owner you couldn't ask for more. About: I’ve been looking after friends and family dogs all my life as well as caring for my own. I’ve always loved dogs and drawing them! I am currently free all day every day due to a break in uni so I am available whenever you need me!! night or day I am very energetic and can keep your dog occupied and busy and tire them out for when you get back, i’ll keep them fed and hydrated so you have nothing to worry about

About: I have had dogs within my family since i was a young child, they are great company and ive always loved being around them. In recent years i have looked after family and friends dogs whilst they go on holidays , work trips etc. i heard about Rover through a friend who suggested i should turn my dog sitting services into a little buisness, so here i am! Im currently in the process of completeing a Dog training/sitting course , then going onto First aid for pets . I currently home school my daughter who is 12, she also has a love for dogs and is always more than enthusiastic when looking after family and friends dogs . We are at home the majority of the week. I live in a quiet area , where there is plenty of calm space to walk dogs , whether its around the houses or a big field 5 minutes walk away, there is plenty of fellow dog walkers along the way. i also have an ample sized , grass garden that is partly decked .

Tully had a trial night with Susan and next time we went to her house, ran in very happily. She has two lovely dogs herself . Tully stayed a week. We were very happy that he was well looked after. Susan answered all our questions and is clearly very experienced in the care of dogs. A happy home for Tully whilst we were away.

Olivia took fantastic care of my Cavapoo last week. He went for walks every day and she really took time to understand his individual needs and character. Betty was clearly very comfortable staying with Georgia and her partner and cats while we were away for the weekend. Georgia sent photos of Betty which were a great reassurance including ones of Betty settled on the sofa and walking in happy tandem with her cat. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
