“My vizsla Ruby had a wonderful day, Cleo and her partner took her out on an adventure to Exmoor and cared for her in their home. I had on collection a very sleepy pup which is a great sign. Would definitely recommend and I will be a repeat customer, thank you both!”

5. Talita A.

“I can't recommend Talita, Neil, and their lovely dog Mala enough! They took care of Moka, our needy Doberman, for just over 10 days while we were out of the country. Communication was seamless, with frequent updates, photos, and videos. Moka had such a great time that we were almost worried he wouldn't want to come back home! We will definitely use their services again.”
6. Monica P.
About: Hello! My name is Monica, I live in a dog-loving family on a peaceful smallholding in Mid Devon. I am your dog carer and work from home full-time, meaning your dog will have constant companionship and care throughout the day. I have school age children who are gentle and respectful around animals, and no other pets in the home—making this a calm and spacious environment for your dog to relax, play, and feel secure. I respect owners’ house rules, and can tailor care to suit your dog’s individual needs and routine. Each day starts with a morning walk around our fields or quiet local footpaths to help your dog burn off energy and enjoy the fresh countryside air. After breakfast, there’s time for rest, play, or cuddles—whatever suits your dog’s temperament. I will be home all day to provide supervision, toilet breaks, and company. In the afternoon, we usually head out for another walk or some garden time, followed by a calm evening with the family. I stick closely to your dog’s usual feeding and sleeping routines to keep them happy and settled throughout their farm stay. Your dog’s wellbeing and safety are at the heart of everything I do. While the farm house itself isn’t fully enclosed, I have several acres of securely deer-fenced land where dogs can safely explore, play, and enjoy the fresh air under supervision. I am home throughout the day to provide constant care and ensure your dog is never left unattended outdoors. I only host one dog or one family’s dogs at a time, so your pet receives my full attention in a calm, structured setting. With gentle children, a peaceful countryside location, and a strong focus on routines and reassurance, I create a trusted home-from-home where your dog can settle in with confidence.

7. Anna M.

“Anna is an absolute hero! We were let down by another sitter and at really short notice Anna stepped in and took our pup for the night. Patch had a wonderful time going on walks with Anna and her Jack Russell, Herbert. I honestly can't recommend her highly enough. Will absolutely be using again.”

Thanks again, Nick!”

13. Fang Yu L.
“I was happy to have Hedy help me taking care of the cats and she quickly got along well with Waffles. She is calm, patient, and makes shy cats feel safe and comfortable. She gave them space when they needed it and love when they asked for it. Hedy is reliable and caring. She can be trusted to care for pets like her own one, and any cats or pet owner would be lucky to have her.”

14. Karen S.

“Amazing stay for our 2 pugs who had a great time and well looked after, Karen was an amazing host, had everything in place for the dogs, well-being and happiness, and super friendly and helpful. Both pugs were knackered after their stay with so much fun. Thanks again”

15. yung hon yves l.

“Yves and her partner looked after our 2 boys for a day and night while we got married. They were amazing, offering them a home away from home. We got regular picture and video updates showing the fun they had. Both dogs are home with us again, tired out from all the fusses and cuddles. 100% would recommend and will use their services again.”

18. Shauni P.

“I had a difficult time and had to attend a funeral very many miles away. I used Rover to contact Shauni in Exeter where I live and was well impressed with the care given and the understanding of my circumstances. I have told my friends what I did and I’m sure they’ll be looking for the similar service. Much better than kennels any day. Thank you Shauni x”

19. Claire S.

“Claire came to be all I could dream of and more when it came to looking after our dog Rio during the 10 days we were away. It was my first time using Rover and Claire’s reviews greatly impressed me. I felt lucky when she was available for the time we needed. Claire is quick and on point in her communication which I truly appreciate. When I went up to see her and her place before booking our “boarding” I could see that our dog Rio instantly took to her very positively and Claire’s knowledge and true skills with dogs were clear as the sun. Our dog Rio had a wonderful stay and great training with socialising with other dogs thanks to Claire’s skills. Pictures came through from Claire to give us an update on things while we were away. When I picked Rio up he was happy and healthy and I could see what a great and genuine bond he had built with Claire during his stay. Beautiful. I’m forever thankful for everything Claire! Top service!”

20. Amber L.

“Amber was amazing! Very responsive to messages, sent some lovely photos of our very happy dog during his stay, and we picked up a very tired dog after his few days with Amber, which was great!”
