About: I am an experienced veterinarian from Turkey with 4 years of hands-on clinical practice in a busy pet clinic. I recently moved to the UK with my spouse, who is also a veterinarian. While I am currently improving my English to achieve my RCVS registration, my true passion remains caring for animals—and luckily, the language of love and care for pets is universal! In Turkey, my role as a clinician was incredibly comprehensive and hands-on. I didn't just work in the surgery or examination rooms; I provided full-service care, which included: In-home medical treatments and medication administration. Pet boarding management, ensuring all daily needs, feeding schedules, and long walks were perfectly met. Hygiene & Grooming: Experienced in professional bathing, nail trimming, and hair clipping. Behavior & Training: Thanks to my deep interest in animal behavior courses during my university years, I am well-versed in understanding pet psychology and providing basic training. I am looking for part-time pet care opportunities to stay connected to my lifelong profession while improving my English. While I am still building my confidence in human conversation, I completely understand the language of pets. Your furry family members will be in the safest, most professional hands possible! As I am currently managing a flexible schedule while focusing on my language studies, I have excellent availability for part-time pet care. Daycare & Boarding: Your pet will never be left alone. Our daily routine includes regular feeding intervals, multiple refreshing walks, and plenty of playtime. Active Engagement: Since I am home most of the day, I can strictly follow your pet's specific routine, text you regular updates, and send photos throughout the day. Your pet's health and safety are my absolute highest priorities. Coming from a professional veterinary background, I bring a level of clinical awareness that standard sitters cannot offer. I can easily spot early signs of stress or discomfort and manage strict medication schedules or special diets if needed. My home and neighborhood offer the ultimate environment for a pet's happiness: Massive Nearby Park: I live just a 4-minute walk away from a huge park, which is perfect for long, energetic walks and outdoor fun (you can check the park's map in my profile photos!). Secure Private Garden: My home features a secure, enclosed garden, providing an excellent and safe private play area where your dog can stretch their legs safely. About: My family always had dogs whilst I was growing up from Alsatians to Schnauzers. I was also lucky enough to have my own horses too up until the age of 25 when my daughter was born. I now own my house in Tiverton and have a gorgeous little Yorkie Russell who just loves to play. I will treat your dog as my own and they will have a home from home right here with us. I work from home full-time so will be around during the day to take care of their needs, at the weekend I love to take my daughter and the dog to beaches, woodlands and other outdoor beauty spots for a nice long walk and play. I will be around to take care of your dogs every need, my boy (Mario) just loves to play and my daughter loves to have cuddles and will play with him for hours if I let her :) Mario has free roam of downstairs so I would work with you on what suits your dog best. My garden is completely enclosed with a 6ft fence.

About: We have looked after dogs when friends go on holiday we have had our own dogs over the years a red setter called Sammy and our grandson German Shepard called Riley We have done puppy walking for the blind and looked after her for a year before she was trained as a guide dog. We love all animals and spend time walking in the national trust parks and woodland areas also we love the beach and water I currently work part time in a village 2 miles from our home ,my husband is retired so at home all day so have loads of time to spend with your pets We have an enclosed garden laid in decking we have a field just up the road for dogs to play and we belong to the national trust which is really close to us they encourage pets and have lots of space to explore

I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals, and that love has stayed with me my whole life. These days my partner and I share our home with four rescue dogs and three cats, so caring for animals is very much part of everyday life. I currently work as an Animal Care Assistant in rescue, supporting dogs with a wide range of needs, and I’m studying for a degree in dog training and behaviour. Before working in rescue, I was a registered nurse, so compassion, reliability, and attention to detail are at the heart of how I care for both people and animals. If you are looking for someone experienced, calm, and genuinely passionate about animals, I would love to help. Dog walking: I offer tailored dog walks around Tiverton and the surrounding countryside. Every dog is different, so walks are adapted to suit their personality, energy level, and health. Some dogs enjoy a relaxed sniffy stroll while others prefer a longer countryside adventure. My aim is always to give dogs safe exercise, enrichment, and a positive experience. I am comfortable working with puppies who are learning about the world, senior dogs who need gentler exercise, anxious or reactive dogs, and dogs with health conditions such as hip dysplasia. Safety, calm handling, and patience are always my priority. Drop in visits / home visits: If your pet is happiest staying in their own environment, I offer 30 minute or longer drop in visits. Visits can include letting dogs out for toilet breaks, feeding and fresh water, playtime and enrichment, litter tray cleaning, administering medication, and plenty of company and reassurance. I am also happy to help with small household tasks while you are away, such as watering plants, bringing in post, or turning lights on and off. You will always receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you can relax knowing your pets are safe and cared for. Dog boarding: I also offer short periods of home boarding for well matched dogs. Dogs staying with us become part of our daily routine and enjoy walks, enrichment, and lots of company. Our own dogs have morning and evening walks, shorter lunchtime enrichment, including plenty of sniffing games and brain work or just playing in the garden! They aren’t a terribly high energy bunch, so they’re just as happy relaxing by the fire with us too. We have a secure fenced garden and visiting dogs are always supervised. About: I am a firm believer that a tired dog is a happy dog, but I also know that mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise. Whether we are practicing "sniff-work" on our walks or enjoying quiet cuddles at home, your dog’s emotional well-being is my top priority. I'm currently out of work. I have two children 50% of the time. I will not have them with me on any of the days and nights I am available, so all my time can be on your lovely pets. Whether I am welcoming your pet into my home or visiting yours, my priority is creating a secure, low-stress, and hazard-free environment. In My Home (Boarding) Pet-Proofed Space: My home is fully "pet-proofed," with all toxic plants, chemicals, and small chewable objects kept strictly out of reach. Separation for Safety: If I am watching pets from different households, I use a slow-introduction process and ensure they are always supervised or safely separated when feeding or sleeping. Escape Prevention: I have a "two-door" policy to ensure no "door-darting" occurs. Pets are always leashed before any exterior door is opened. Sanitisation: I use pet-safe, non-toxic cleaners to sanitise bowls and floors between guests to prevent the spread of germs.

About: I've always grown up living with animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, chinchillas, ducks, the list goes on!) in the family home and have often cared for friends and family pets whilst they’ve been away. We’ve had a variety of breeds as family pets over the years. To name a few: West Highland Terrier, Doberman, Labrador and most recently Labradoodles. We currently have 3 cats and two labradoodles living at the family home. I am available for walks evenings and weekends, I can also do long or short stays and happy to do a meet beforehand so that you feel fully comfortable with me & know your pet will be in safe hands. If your pet gets along with other dogs and cats, they are more than welcome to come and stay with me too. I work from home a lot Mon-Fri (I may have to nip out for the odd couple of hours for meetings), which means I can be around to give your pet all the love and attention they need. I get a 1hr lunch break so can walk / play with your pet. I understand it is a little daunting leaving your pet with someone you don't know, but I am more than happy to provide photos and updates whilst they’re within my care. I will always ensure your house and pets remain clean and tidy whilst you are away.

About: I have recently lost my mini schnauzer at 13 years old. The house is so empty without any cats or dogs around. I am retired and have a beautiful garden and a large home. Your pet will be cherished by me and i will send pupdates to you so you can relax whilst away. I am an experienced dog and cats owner, having had pets all my life. I miss my dog so much, it hurts, but I'm not ready to own one yet, so would like to try pet sitting. I have a tractive tracker that your dog will wear when we are out and about, even on lead, which provides extra reassurance that your pet is safe. I am a registered member of The cinnamon trust. Recently retired, i can dedicate all my time to ensuring your pet has everything they need, including lots of cuddles and love. I am fit and enjoy walking. I have a safe, large garden which your pet will love. I am at home full time, so your pet will not be left alone.

Paddy can get overexcited on meeting new people and had not boarded away from home or stayed with another dog before so we were uncertain how he would react. We needn’t have worried. Shelagh and Pete are very animal aware and felt he’d settle into his new routine. He had an initial two day visit, spent a lovely time running free in the enclosed field, and we returned to collect him finding the two dogs perfectly happy wandering around together. A real success - we instantly booked Paddy for a week’s stay so we could go away on holiday on our own. Very pleased and grateful for Shelagh & Pete’s care.”

About: I have had dogs all my life from small dogs to medium sized dogs I have fed them given them water bathed them and walked them and if your fur baby gets all dirty I would take them to the bathroom and give them a bath and give them a nice warm bath they would be really nice and clean and I have got a dog and had dogs all my life time when I was growing up so I love dogs I’m also a very happy person and I’m also a kind caring person that would be very happy to look after your fur baby’s I don’t work so I’m always around and available for your fur baby and I will always take good care of them like you do plus I will always be there for them and take good care of them I have had dog’s all my life We have a closed in garden so will keep your fur baby safe and sound when in the back garden and if needed have a crate for your fur baby to keep safe or needs a sleep we will all so give your fur baby a nice cuddle and plenty of walks.next to me or my wife on the sofa and they will get a lot of attention from me

About: We are a family of 5, myself my partner 2 boys age 6&3 and our crazy cockapoo Lenny age 7. Our dog has epilepsy and eats everything in sight including the kids toys. He is very active, loves lots of playing and long walks. We always struggle to find a sitter when we go holiday so would like to offer our services for people like us.
