About: What sets me apart from other sitters is a lifelong love of dogs, having grown up surrounded by pups of all shapes and sizes, from tiny lap dogs to big goofy gentle giants. That experience only grew stronger at home with my own crazy, lovable German Shorthaired Pointer, Bear, who keeps life full of energy, chaos, and laughs. I bring that same mix of care, patience, and playful enthusiasm to every dog I look after—treating each one like part of the family, celebrating every zoomie, and making sure tails are wagging from start to finish. A typical day for me is a cosy mix of stay-at-home mum life with my one year old little boy and Bear, who both believe every morning should start with enthusiasm, noise, and absolutely no lie-ins. My day usually flows between naps, snacks, laundry, and the usual mum multitasking—always with Bear right in the middle of it all, supervising like she runs the household. Walks, playtime, and little pockets of chaos are woven through the day, whether it’s a quick dash outside with Bear or an impromptu zoomie session in the garden. Evenings are for winding down with family time, a tired but happy dog, and that comforting kind of chaos that comes with a full, love-filled home. I’m also available at weekends, offering the same care, cuddles, and cheerful chaos—perfect for when your dog needs a little extra love while you’re away or busy. When caring for pets in my home, their safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priority. I make sure my home is fully pet-friendly and secure, with anything potentially harmful safely out of reach and doors, gates, and bins properly secured. I create a warm, cosy space where dogs can relax and feel completely at home, with fresh water always available and a quiet spot if they need a break from all the excitement. Our days are a happy mix of walks, playtime, and cuddles, along with life at home playing alongside my 1-year-old little boy—so there’s always a bit of extra giggles, gentle chaos, and lots of love to go around. I follow a calm, consistent routine so every dog feels settled and secure, and I always keep a close eye on them as they become part of our little family. With plenty of care, attention, and a home full of warmth (and wagging tails), I aim to make every dog feel safe, happy, and completely adored while in my care. 🐾💛

About: Neighbors and family have relied upon me to walk, feed and bathe their dogs, cats and other pets. I have 1 dog who lives with me part time, that I walk daily, feed, and groom. We also have 2 cats that lives at home with me full time. I currently do not work so I can be available to meet your pet's needs at any time that suits you and your pet's needs. I am currently working through animal care courses with first aid and general day to day care. I will keep an eye on your pet when/if they have toys out or chewable treats. If they need to go out for walks I will make sure they have the appropriate kit needed and will keep them on the leash unless specified. When they are outside in the garden I will make sure that they are supervised aswell.

I’ve had my current dog for nearly 3.5 years and trained him as a puppy Caring for pets fits naturally into my daily routine. “We were staying in Bude, and while visiting Cornwall wanted to do some activities where dogs are not allowed. At first we found it difficult to search for doggy day care and then we came across Rover and Dale's Doggy Day Care. We were nervous to leave our dog, Wafer with a stranger, in an area we didn't know. Dale was very welcoming and accommodating with drop-off and pick-up times. Our dog is very friendly, however at first seemed a bit nervous to meet Rex, Dayle's dog. Dale took the time to help Wafer settle in and within minutes of us leaving we received pictures of our dog enjoying the place. The second day, Wafer was still a little bit nervous to stay, which didn't help us feel good about leaving him for another day. Dale was quickly on the case to help him settle again and the videos we received showed us how happy Wafer was, once we left. Of course, as always, noone is as happy to see you as your dog! Wafer was happy to be back with us and tired, ready to relax, which was great for us 👍🏼 Wafer's profile picture on Rover is one of the photos we received from Dale ❤️ We would thoroughly recommend Dale's Doggy Day Care and left his details with our campsite!”

I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals, and that love has stayed with me my whole life. These days my partner and I share our home with four rescue dogs and three cats, so caring for animals is very much part of everyday life. I currently work as an Animal Care Assistant in rescue, supporting dogs with a wide range of needs, and I’m studying for a degree in dog training and behaviour. Before working in rescue, I was a registered nurse, so compassion, reliability, and attention to detail are at the heart of how I care for both people and animals. If you are looking for someone experienced, calm, and genuinely passionate about animals, I would love to help. Dog walking: I offer tailored dog walks around Tiverton and the surrounding countryside. Every dog is different, so walks are adapted to suit their personality, energy level, and health. Some dogs enjoy a relaxed sniffy stroll while others prefer a longer countryside adventure. My aim is always to give dogs safe exercise, enrichment, and a positive experience. I am comfortable working with puppies who are learning about the world, senior dogs who need gentler exercise, anxious or reactive dogs, and dogs with health conditions such as hip dysplasia. Safety, calm handling, and patience are always my priority. Drop in visits / home visits: If your pet is happiest staying in their own environment, I offer 30 minute or longer drop in visits. Visits can include letting dogs out for toilet breaks, feeding and fresh water, playtime and enrichment, litter tray cleaning, administering medication, and plenty of company and reassurance. I am also happy to help with small household tasks while you are away, such as watering plants, bringing in post, or turning lights on and off. You will always receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you can relax knowing your pets are safe and cared for. Dog boarding: I also offer short periods of home boarding for well matched dogs. Dogs staying with us become part of our daily routine and enjoy walks, enrichment, and lots of company. Our own dogs have morning and evening walks, shorter lunchtime enrichment, including plenty of sniffing games and brain work or just playing in the garden! They aren’t a terribly high energy bunch, so they’re just as happy relaxing by the fire with us too. We have a secure fenced garden and visiting dogs are always supervised. Your pet will be cherished by me and i will send pupdates to you so you can relax whilst away. I am an experienced dog and cats owner, having had pets all my life. I miss my dog so much, it hurts, but I'm not ready to own one yet, so would like to try pet sitting. I have a tractive tracker that your dog will wear when we are out and about, even on lead, which provides extra reassurance that your pet is safe. I am a registered member of The cinnamon trust. Recently retired, i can dedicate all my time to ensuring your pet has everything they need, including lots of cuddles and love. I am fit and enjoy walking. I have a safe, large garden which your pet will love. I am at home full time, so your pet will not be left alone.

About: I'm in my forties and I've taken care of many pets throughout my entire life ranging from cats, dogs, ferrets, rats and more. I walk dogs for friends and neighbors regularly and love them like my own. As I'm not working at the moment I'm able to take and walk pets all week, even in the late evenings. I'd be available from around 8-9am to 11pm. I'm capable to take care of medicated pets by giving medication or even providing first aid. I have experience in grooming and bathing dogs. Energetic and high maintenance dogs are also welcome as I have experience and am happy to walk far and spend hours with them at the park. I prefer to keep dogs on leash when walking them to avoid any risks.

About: My family always had dogs whilst I was growing up from Alsatians to Schnauzers. I was also lucky enough to have my own horses too up until the age of 25 when my daughter was born. I now own my house in Tiverton and have a gorgeous little Yorkie Russell who just loves to play. I will treat your dog as my own and they will have a home from home right here with us. I work from home full-time so will be around during the day to take care of their needs, at the weekend I love to take my daughter and the dog to beaches, woodlands and other outdoor beauty spots for a nice long walk and play. I will be around to take care of your dogs every need, my boy (Mario) just loves to play and my daughter loves to have cuddles and will play with him for hours if I let her :) Mario has free roam of downstairs so I would work with you on what suits your dog best. My garden is completely enclosed with a 6ft fence.
