“Emma & Lawrence were excellent - the girls loved them! We have never left them before but a family party meant we needed to find someone to look after them for the afternoon while we were on holiday in Devon. Nothing was too much trouble - I had to change the drop off time & Emma was happy for us to drop off slightly earlier. They welcomed our Frenchies as if they were their own, made us feel really happy that the dogs were in safe hands & sent us off to our party. The girls were clearly comfortable as they sat on Lawrence’s knee & got on well with the resident dogs. Even when we went to collect them, they were clearly happy to be with Emma & Lawrence & weren’t that bothered that we were back!! We would highly recommend Emma & Lawrence if you are looking for a home from home for your dogs. We would definitely use them again.”

2. Lalaine M.

“Lalaine kindly arranged to meet me for a walk before our booking, so she could get to know my dog beforehand. My dog took to Lalaine straight away and happily settled with her straight away. Lalaine gave me updates during the day and was really prompt returning messages to confirm arrangements. I would be very happy for Lalaine to look after my dog again.”

About: Shih tzu growing up in the family, bio dad had a staffy, I looked after my friends staffy in holsworthy at theirs/ mine. My mums shih tzu I dog sat, and had stay over . My friends dogs I’ve always taken for walks, including the dogs I had stay over. They keep me sane and I keep them sane, I’m doing a pet psychology course as well to be able to eventually do training work if any walkers / owners have behavioural issues to work with. I’m a very flexiable person, doing an online pet psychology course online I can do this in my own time. I’m currently unemployed and looking for work so I’m available most of the time to provide services. The dog I live with when I’m in care of him, I provide him company , cuddles, kisses attention play time. I let him out for toilet breaks, he comes and tells me, I play with him with his toys. Take him for walks, provide him with fresh water and food. I’d do the same for your dog to, if there’s any medication needs or dietary etc I’ll listen to the owners requests on what’s allowed and what’s not allowed :)

8. Clare S.

About: I have a lifetime of experience with animals, especially dogs and cats, as I grew up with a highly intelligent German Shepherd who was my family. Since then, I’ve cared for another German Shepherd, as well as many cats, giving me years of hands-on pet care experience. I’ve also spent time walking and playing with dogs at a shelter, so I understand how to care for pets with different temperaments, energy levels, and needs. Since moving to the UK, I don’t have pets of my own yet, so it would be an absolute pleasure to care for yours! Whether it’s puppy care, playtime, walks, or simply keeping your pet company, I’m here to provide loving, attentive, and responsible care. I have a flexible schedule as I work from home, which allows me to be available any day of the week for pet care. Your pet will never be left alone for long, and I can easily adjust to their routine. The only exception is Sundays, as that’s when my boyfriend and I go on road trips together. Otherwise, I’m here to provide attentive, loving care whenever needed! 🐾 I provide a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for pets, whether in my home or yours. I live on a farm with plenty of open space for dogs to walk, run, and play freely. If caring for pets in their owner's home, I ensure they feel secure and relaxed by sticking to their familiar routines, giving them plenty of attention, and making sure they are always well-fed, exercised, and cared for. Their happiness and well-being are my top priorities!

About: Growing up in a dog friendly house, I’ve had the opportunity to be surrounded by dogs my entire life without ever owning one (unfortunately). I’ve had a year of experience walking dogs (professionally) but many more (just for fun). I’ve had experience walking a range of different breeds, weights and temperaments so I feel comfortable looking after all dogs. I live in a very chilled out flat next 2 minutes from a park so I feel that any dog would feel welcomed and comfortable, rather than feeling agitated (due to being cooped up). I’m a very hyperactive person so whichever dog I’m sitting would be spending most of their time walking rather than inside (unless instructed against this). My girlfriend recently started walking and sitting dogs through rover so I’ve experienced what it’s like to have anxious and boisterous dogs stay the night and I’ve loved every minute of it. I genuinely love all animals so this would be such a mutually beneficial gig for me and the owner. I currently go to university Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; I finish the academic year 9th of may so am free from then. I work at a club on weekends but I can choose my shifts so if I have a weekend booking then I will more than likely be free. I live 2 minutes from a park so can take the dog/s out really easily. I always make sure to give them plenty of walks and attention, making sure that they are active and living a fulfilled life.
