“Yves and Nick were absolutely fantastic with Romy. She’s still very much a puppy, so I’m always a bit nervous leaving her with someone new, but they made her feel comfortable almost straight away. Communication was great throughout the day and it was so reassuring to get regular updates and photos. What really stood out though was that Yves’ partner (Nick) was also there, fully involved the whole time… you can tell they genuinely enjoyed playing with Romy and keeping her entertained, not just “watching” her. It honestly feels like, for them, this isn’t simply dog sitting as a job, they really want the dog to have the best time ever. And that’s such a huge thing for any owner, but especially when you’ve got a young puppy and you just want to know they’re happy, settled, and having fun. We’ll definitely be booking again.”

About: In 2023 I received my degree in animal science, I hold a dog first aid certification and IMDT dog training certification. Since 2023 I have run a gundog kennels where I at one time had 22 dogs in my care. I have trained and rehabilitated rescue dogs and helped them find their forever homes. About: I’m a reliable, calm, trusted dog owner & sitter with experience of small & large breeds. I have had dogs all my life and grew up with dogs in the household. I have trained my own dog to a very high standard of recall and manners, and he gets along with all other dogs. I live a pretty active life style, so love to be out and about as much as I can.( heat and weather permitting) We love a walk down along the River, a trip to the beach or just the local park, weather permitting of course, nobody likes the rain after all. When we cant get out for a trip somewhere we venture into town to some lovely dog friendly cafes (12 Bar, Artigianos, Hanlees, cafe espresso) for lunch or just to have a coffee, watching the world go by. Anyones dog I have will of course come to. It’s great to be able to take them to new places and see them love the attention and interaction they get. Both mine & Franks calm approach and gentle demeanour makes for a very happy relaxed home that the lovely dogs I look after settle into quickly and enjoy. I live in a garden basement flat with direct access to a large, secure, enclosed garden that they access to all day. The garden is surrounded on all sides by a 7ft high solid brick wall that is escape proof, perfect for the dogs to free roam and play in complete safety at their leisure. I live 100 metres from Belmont Park which we visit several times a day, weather permitting. The park is perfect for dogs to socialise as we have a large group of wonderful local dog walkers that meet daily, so everyone gets to meet new friends and socialise. My boy Frank is very calm, friendly and gets along with every dog he meets. This makes dogs that can be nervous or not as well socialised stay calm and be able to interact at their pace.
About: I have been around dogs since a very young age and have always been very animal focused, I have taken care of dogs for family and friends for the past 12 years and I now have my own male cocker spaniel who is a very loved member of our family. I am currently working part time (Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday) but I am around all day on a Thursday Friday and weekend meaning that your dog wouldn’t be left alone for longer than a quick trip to the shop and on weekends we tend to do long family walks at the forest or beach. I have a large fenced garden and my own 6 month old cocker spaniel to keep your dog company, i also have a large kitchen where I could crate your dog with a stair gate to the living area where my dog is crated at night; so time out can be given when needed during the day too.

About: I had dogs all of my childhood and now look after my friends and family’s dogs frequently! I’m caring and patient and I love dogs. About: I've had pets all my life from. From the time I could walk, I've taken care of our family Golden retriever, later on my adorable Patterjack terrier, and now Lurcher and Belgian shepherd. That's been alongside 3 ponies / horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, 5 cats and a bird. My two dogs (Lurcher and shepherd) are incredibly friendly and playful and we have regular doggie visitors including my sister's Segugio 'Bobby' and family friend Cocker Spaniel 'Lottie'. I'm recently retired so have very few commitments and am available to look after dogs most of the time. I take my two dogs out for country walks daily and could take yours too. They can all play together if you wish, but if not, I can separate them, putting your dog in the living room - I'd rather they played together if possible though.

About: My partner and I have been around dogs very regularly ever since we were small. I had two family dogs (cocker spaniel & miniature schnauzer) and was always given feeding and walking responsibility on a daily basis. Since then, we have walked and cared for various other local dogs as we haven’t been in a position to have our own but always loved being around them. I work from home 90% of the time and Taylor works from home 100% of the time. Our working hours allow us to walk and let a dog out for the toilet very regularly. We are in a position to host any day of the week, including weekends that we either have dog friendly plans or no plans. We have a securely fenced garden that would allow your dog to comfortably relax in our home. We also have multiple areas throughout the house that could be used for sleeping arrangements to ensure they are happy at night. We have no other pets at home so they would have our undivided attention unless we were sitting for another dog however we would share this with you ahead of booking to see if this would be a suitable arrangement. We live a calm and quiet lifestyle and would very much enjoy the additional company.

Carla was absolutely brilliant with Romy. She was very quick to reply to messages and kept us constantly updated, sending photos almost every hour, which was really reassuring. Romy is only a 5-month-old puppy, so we were a bit nervous at first, but Carla made her feel comfortable straight away. Just a few hours after we dropped her off, Romy was already happily curled up having a nap on the sofa: relaxed, calm and clearly at ease.
