4. Caitlin A.
About: I have four dogs of my own, all Cavapoos, and before I had two big Irish Setters; I know the ins and outs of caring for dogs, big and small, many and few. Aside from owning my own, over the past two years I have dog-sat weekly for a black Labrador and an Italian greyhound puppy in different areas of London, and a Cockapoo in Exeter. Overall, it’s fair to say I am very knowledgeable and trustworthy when it comes to looking after pups! I am currently a university student, but I only have a few exams over the next months, and so I am free almost all day, everyday in Exeter until I leave in June. When looking after dogs in their owners’ homes, I ensure I know how they are looked after: do they stay in certain rooms, are they allowed in the garden unattended, etc. I also make sure to ask about dogs’ recalls when on a walk, and if they are allowed off the lead. This is all to protect the dog itself, and others around.

5. yung hon yves l.
“Yves has a heart of gold, provides a brilliant time for the dogs, she knows what she's doing with them and goes out of her way to ensure that the dogs surround her feeling happy. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a dog walker. Thank you.”

9. Chenyan L.
“When C.Y hosted my dog Bettie, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. They went above and beyond to ensure my Bettie felt right at home. From the moment we arrived, C.Y greeted us with warmth and genuine enthusiasm, instantly putting both me and my pet at ease. And their house to us. Throughout the stay, C.Y provided personalized attention, catering to my pet's specific needs and preferences. They followed all the instructions regarding feeding and exercise routines, ensuring that my pet's well-being was their top priority. and they sent photos during the day. What truly impressed me was the level of engagement and interaction C.Y provided. They spent quality time playing, cuddling, and bonding with my pet. It was evident that they genuinely cared and enjoyed being in the company of animals. They even sent me regular updates and adorable pictures, keeping me connected and reassured that my pet was in good hands.”

12. Josie R.
About: I’ve been fortunate enough to grow up in a family full of animals. This included two working cocker spaniels who I adored completely. Upon leaving my family home in Wiltshire, I started volunteering as an animal care assistant for the RSPCA where I had 3 amazing years caring for a huge range of animals. This included playful pups, senior dogs, additional need canines and doggos full of energy. I also gained experience with rats, ferrets, rabbits, cats, hamsters and Guinea pigs! I’ve been dog/cat sitting for family and friends for as long as I can remember, and spent the majority of Summer 24 caring for precious pets. I work flexible hours from home, so I have the freedom to walk and visit your pups at all hours of working week! I also have a car and live in central Exeter so I can be anywhere in EX1-4 within 10 mins! I will care for your pets according to their needs and the rules of your home. If your dogs a sofa dog, then I’m on that sofa with them. If your dogs wears a high-vis jacket in the dark, then they can match with mine. If your dog is crated, then I’ll give them that safe space. You know your dog best, I’m just happy to get some of their love

13. Reanna C.
“Reanna is my older sister, she has always taken care of me and made sure me and my younger brother are cared for, fed happy and content. She is the exact same kind natured with animals, she has always been a huge pet lover and even has a cute lil tiger of her own (striped ginger cat) Leo. Re has always had a huge love for animals and I would trust her with your animal in a heart beat, she will give all the love cuddles and walks in the world!”

14. Poppy W.
“Poppy has always had a natural and instinctive way with animals. She is kind and gentle and animals respond extremely well to her. I would have no reservation in recommending her to look after other pets.”

15. Eleanor R.
About: I have always grown up with dogs and cats, having labradors, border terriers, and two german shorthaired pointers as well as two tabbies. I love animals of all sizes and shapes and have a genuine love for keeping them happy and healthy!! I have helped around the village i lived in before coming to uni with home visits and walks. And now I am at university, not only am I missing all of my pets, but I would love to be able to help out with busy schedules. I have trained two puppies, my german shorthaired pointer is a full working dog and I did lots of the training with that. I have also looked after a 15 year old dog, so I am very versatile with all ages and all sizes. I am also first aid trained for animals. At uni I currently only have Tuesdays that are full with uni work, but on mondays, thursdays and fridays I am free apart from one one hour block. I am also free on Sundays all day. I will just ask about specifics of what you do and don’t allow in your house, as to not create any naughty habits. Pets will not be left unattended for any period longer than an hour, and when I am with them i will make sure to play and take them on regular walks to keep them entertained and happy.
