About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember, growing up with them from birth and owning my own for the past 15 years. From the age of 10, I was walking dogs for neighbours and local families, which gave me early hands on experience and a real love of caring for dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities. I have trained a number of dogs including my own dogs and feel confident supporting a wide range of needs, from energetic puppies who need plenty of stimulation to older dogs who enjoy a gentler pace and extra cuddles. We are a very animal loving family made up of myself, my husband and our daughter, who has grown up around animals and understands how to be kind, gentle and respectful with them. Our home offers a genuine home from home environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. We share our home with Rosie, our 14 year old Collie x Poodle, Daisy, our 1 year old Labrador Retriever and our 16 year old Cat Bella who tends to keep herself to herself. As you'll see from the photos, they are very happy, friendly dogs and a huge part of our family. They both enjoy the company of other dogs and are used to sharing their space. We have a secure, good sized garden for safe outdoor play and love exploring the beautiful North Devon countryside, beaches and woodland walks. Whether your dog enjoys adventures, games or simply relaxing at home, we'll make sure they feel happy, comfortable and well cared for. Both my husband and I between us ensure one of us work from home each day of the week, which means dogs in our care have company and supervision for the vast majority of the day. Aside from short school runs or quick errands, someone is usually at home. If your dog is unable to be left alone, please get in touch as we can often accommodate this too. I know how important it is to feel completely confident that your pet is safe, happy and loved while you're away. Whether you're heading off on holiday, need regular daycare, or are visiting North Devon and want to enjoy an activity where dogs can't join, we would be delighted to help. Any dog staying with us will be treated as an honorary member of the family, with plenty of affection, attention and care. I'm also happy to provide regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your dog is having a wonderful time. As a dog owner, I use pet sitters myself when we travel, so I completely understand how difficult it can feel leaving your dog with someone new. I'm always happy to answer any questions and arrange a meet and greet so you can feel reassured that we're the right fit for your dog. I'm not the best at remembering to take photos of myself, but I've included some of our favourite pictures, along with our garden and a few snapshots from adventures with Rosie and Daisy. I hope they give you a feel for the happy, dog loving home we can offer. We both work from home, meaning your dog will have company and supervision for the vast majority of the time (around 95%), aside from short periods such as school runs or quick errands. We always prioritise being with any dog in our care, ensuring they feel settled, safe and never left for long periods. If they could not be left we can also work with this! I understand how important it is to feel your pet is safe and happy, whether you’re away on holiday or just need support during the day. If a working day our dogs get 2 - 3 walks a day from 30 minutes to 45 minutes in a range of different settings. We can meet any timetable for feeding required. I have a fenced garden and 2 friendly dogs that will support in keeping your pup entertained and engaged in games (they love tug of war and ball games!) and lots of cuddles and fuss throughout the day. We live in a quiet estate. We also can offer quiet area’s of the house if they need a little downtime to themselves where we can sit with them if required away from our pups.

About: I'm a qualified dog walker and pet sitter. I have qualified in level 2 animal care, level 2 vet nursing and level 3 pet first aid. I have grown up with a variety of different types of pets. I have been working with dogs for the last 8 years. I work with your pets during the day and then I have an evening job that is 3 hours and not related to animals. The evening job is near my home, so I will only do it if I'm on local sits. I will put your dogs in a crate or a safe room in the house, if I'm going out to the shops. I make sure outside space is safe for your pet.

About: I am passionate about working with dogs, and I’m an experienced dog walker / sitter. I have volunteered in Dog sanctuaries across Europe and Africa, dealing with dogs of all different breeds, ages and health conditions. I have a full, clean drivers license and own my own car! I work as a freelance Animator out of my studio in Penryn. As I work for myself I am able to structure my days around my animal care commitments, which take priority when scheduling my calendar. About: I have a lifetime of experience with animals, especially dogs and cats, as I grew up with a highly intelligent German Shepherd who was my family. Since then, I’ve had the chance to care for many different breeds - Border Collies, Retrievers, Dachshunds, Samoyed, English Spaniels/Cocker Spaniels, Boston Terriers, Toy Poodles, Cockapoos, French Bulldogs, Mastiffs, Pomeranians, Goldendoodles, Wire Fox Terriers, Pugs, and of course Shepherds, as well as many cats, giving me years of hands-on pet care experience. About: I've been caring for dogs and other animals pretty much all of my life. My grandma used to breed Newfoundlands so I was always helping with her gentle giants! From walking and grooming to playing and meal times. I've never not had a dog in my life and they truly do make your life a million times better. When I was 10 we got my best friend, a little whippet puppy who was just the best! We sadly lost him at the ripe age of 12 at the end of last year. It's so important to take extra care of them when they become old and fragile and having to change certain aspects of their life so they don't get down about the things they can't do anymore. I've had the pleasure of getting to know all different breeds and their personalities from Huskies to Dachshunds and Spaniels, Whippets, Staffies, Pocket bullies, xl bullies, Retrievers and Newfoundlands. We have a 7 month old pocket bully and she has to be one of the funniest and loving dogs we've ever had. Before we got her of course we did alot of research and she is such a well behaved girl. It's important that the training starts from the day you get them and I feel that if someone's dog isn't properly trained then they aren't going to know how to deal with someone elses. I adore all dogs and always treat them like they're a part of the family! I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to do what I love most which is being with animals. I also travel to Cornwall atleast once a week so I am very flexible on where I can go too! I plan on mostly doing home visits and or walks. I will ask lots of questions for example using treats etc and asking about allergies. Everyone and every dog is different so it's tailoring every experience to suit the dog and owner so everyone is happy. I know it takes a lot of trust to allow someone into your home and or to take your dog for a walk so I will be making sure I know as much as possible and listening to every word the owner says!
