About: We have owned a rescue greyhound for a few years now and so have plenty of experience with quiet and nervous dogs. He has come on leaps and bounds since adoption! We often look after our friend’s retriever, and have also looked after numerous sighthounds. My partner and I are full-time workers but both work from home and so will always be around to give dogs all the love and attention they need! We provide a calm and comfortable space for dogs whilst in our home. We have six foot fencing and a nice long garden for them to stretch their legs! Our garden backs directly onto a long secluded trail where we do our daily walks. Dogs will always be kept on the lead.

About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember, growing up with them from birth and owning my own for the past 15 years. From the age of 10, I was walking dogs for neighbours and local families, which gave me early hands on experience and a real love of caring for dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities. I have trained a number of dogs including my own dogs and feel confident supporting a wide range of needs, from energetic puppies who need plenty of stimulation to older dogs who enjoy a gentler pace and extra cuddles. We are a very animal loving family made up of myself, my husband and our daughter, who has grown up around animals and understands how to be kind, gentle and respectful with them. Our home offers a genuine home from home environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. We share our home with Rosie, our 14 year old Collie x Poodle, Daisy, our 1 year old Labrador Retriever and our 16 year old Cat Bella who tends to keep herself to herself. As you'll see from the photos, they are very happy, friendly dogs and a huge part of our family. They both enjoy the company of other dogs and are used to sharing their space. We have a secure, good sized garden for safe outdoor play and love exploring the beautiful North Devon countryside, beaches and woodland walks. Whether your dog enjoys adventures, games or simply relaxing at home, we'll make sure they feel happy, comfortable and well cared for. Both my husband and I between us ensure one of us work from home each day of the week, which means dogs in our care have company and supervision for the vast majority of the day. Aside from short school runs or quick errands, someone is usually at home. If your dog is unable to be left alone, please get in touch as we can often accommodate this too. I know how important it is to feel completely confident that your pet is safe, happy and loved while you're away. Whether you're heading off on holiday, need regular daycare, or are visiting North Devon and want to enjoy an activity where dogs can't join, we would be delighted to help. Any dog staying with us will be treated as an honorary member of the family, with plenty of affection, attention and care. I'm also happy to provide regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your dog is having a wonderful time. As a dog owner, I use pet sitters myself when we travel, so I completely understand how difficult it can feel leaving your dog with someone new. I'm always happy to answer any questions and arrange a meet and greet so you can feel reassured that we're the right fit for your dog. I'm not the best at remembering to take photos of myself, but I've included some of our favourite pictures, along with our garden and a few snapshots from adventures with Rosie and Daisy. I hope they give you a feel for the happy, dog loving home we can offer. We both work from home, meaning your dog will have company and supervision for the vast majority of the time (around 95%), aside from short periods such as school runs or quick errands. We always prioritise being with any dog in our care, ensuring they feel settled, safe and never left for long periods. If they could not be left we can also work with this! I understand how important it is to feel your pet is safe and happy, whether you’re away on holiday or just need support during the day. If a working day our dogs get 2 - 3 walks a day from 30 minutes to 45 minutes in a range of different settings. We can meet any timetable for feeding required. I have a fenced garden and 2 friendly dogs that will support in keeping your pup entertained and engaged in games (they love tug of war and ball games!) and lots of cuddles and fuss throughout the day. We live in a quiet estate. We also can offer quiet area’s of the house if they need a little downtime to themselves where we can sit with them if required away from our pups.

About: I'm a qualified dog walker and pet sitter. I have qualified in level 2 animal care, level 2 vet nursing and level 3 pet first aid. I have grown up with a variety of different types of pets. I have been working with dogs for the last 8 years. I work with your pets during the day and then I have an evening job that is 3 hours and not related to animals. The evening job is near my home, so I will only do it if I'm on local sits. I will put your dogs in a crate or a safe room in the house, if I'm going out to the shops. I make sure outside space is safe for your pet.

About: I offer dog sitting/walking/drop in play visits as well as night stays for when you go away on holiday for any pet you have. I have looked after other people's cats and dogs my whole life and have volunteered at Dogs Trust in my teenage years. I love all animals and am at my happiest when in their company. I love the outdoors and have a boundless energy - its like your dog will be taking me for the walk... but can be calm and assertive when needed. Your dog will get the walk of its life every single time and every second will be spent making sure he/she is enjoying themselves. About: I’ve been around dogs all my life. My family are all dog crazy. My moms had dogs since I was a child and still does till this day. So I know what it’s like to look after our best four legged friends. Myself and Scott live in a detached 4 bed bungalow in Devon. We have acres of private land where we walk and exercise Rex daily. Rex our beautiful boy fox Rex lab loves dogs and thrives with other four legged friends. He will be 2 in November 2026 and his bring so much joy to our life’s. I am stay home husband whilst my partner Scott runs a big cow dairy. I am home 7 days a week so your dog will get the best care and attention throughout there stay with us. I am experienced with keeping on top of medication if your dog requires and happy to be instructed for what your dog needs to ensure it’s the best and positive experience whilst on holiday with me. I would love to meet and greet your dogs before you book for your reassurance. If they are good on or off lead I will do as the owner requires and requests. They will be walked and let out as many times as they like. I walk Rex three times a day as he loves to go out for walks. He would really love a friend to experience all these fields with him as he loves to make friends with other dogs. The time they are with me they get 100% my devoted time and attention. Someone is always home 24/7. I have a large garden around my big bungalow which is all fenced. We have acres of land around us all private so they will have such a good time exploring with Rex. I will always walk new boarder dogs on the lead unless the owner is 100% confident there recall is great otherwise they will be kept safe and close whilst having lots of fun. About: Hi we are Leah & Tim, we have big hearts for animals. Here is some information about us below. Leah - Hi, I'm Leah! I've always grown up with dogs and animal's since I was little and at 13 was a key help in training and caring for my collie. Since then I have grown up with him and realised just how incredible dogs are, and how lucky we are to have them. My collie Rusty passed away in 2020, since then a big part of me was taken too. I miss him dearly and miss in general a dogs presence you can be assured your dog would be so loved and cared for by me, and have lots of fun! I know how special they are, and that they are a part of the family. Tim - Hi, I'm Tim! I have been with Leah for 5 years now, during this time I had bonded heavily with her dog Rusty, realising how much a part of the family they are. I have always been a heavy animal lover. I have many pets myself ranging from fish to python to rabbits. Throughout my life I have grown up caring and looking after animals, anything from hurt hedgehogs to bats. This is something instilled in me by my family. I would love to look after and care for your dog. As with my life situation at this time I am unable to have one of my own. Look forward to hearing from you! I am currently busy monday-friday but can be available at weekends Saturday or Sunday. About: I am passionate about working with dogs, and I’m an experienced dog walker / sitter. I have volunteered in Dog sanctuaries across Europe and Africa, dealing with dogs of all different breeds, ages and health conditions. I have a full, clean drivers license and own my own car! About: Over the last 4 decades I have loved and cared for a multitude of my own pets from cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, cockatiels, finches, fish and chickens. I have raised rabbits, cats and hens from babies.I have offered been the go to friend to take care of others pets, from taking care of cats, to walking dogs or caring for tortoise. Animals have always been an important part of my life. As I currently work part time and am also self employed I can offer more flexibility. As a pet owner I understand the importance of having the right person to love and take care of your pets when you're away, I can offer house sitting on the weekend and also school holidays and drop ins at other times. About: I've been caring for dogs and other animals pretty much all of my life. My grandma used to breed Newfoundlands so I was always helping with her gentle giants! From walking and grooming to playing and meal times. I've never not had a dog in my life and they truly do make your life a million times better. When I was 10 we got my best friend, a little whippet puppy who was just the best! We sadly lost him at the ripe age of 12 at the end of last year. It's so important to take extra care of them when they become old and fragile and having to change certain aspects of their life so they don't get down about the things they can't do anymore. I've had the pleasure of getting to know all different breeds and their personalities from Huskies to Dachshunds and Spaniels, Whippets, Staffies, Pocket bullies, xl bullies, Retrievers and Newfoundlands. We have a 7 month old pocket bully and she has to be one of the funniest and loving dogs we've ever had. Before we got her of course we did alot of research and she is such a well behaved girl. It's important that the training starts from the day you get them and I feel that if someone's dog isn't properly trained then they aren't going to know how to deal with someone elses. I adore all dogs and always treat them like they're a part of the family! I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to do what I love most which is being with animals. I also travel to Cornwall atleast once a week so I am very flexible on where I can go too! I plan on mostly doing home visits and or walks. I will ask lots of questions for example using treats etc and asking about allergies. Everyone and every dog is different so it's tailoring every experience to suit the dog and owner so everyone is happy. I know it takes a lot of trust to allow someone into your home and or to take your dog for a walk so I will be making sure I know as much as possible and listening to every word the owner says!
