Dog Walking in North Devon

About: I've always lived in the country, from France to Devon. Growing up I had many pets from dogs to cats and guinea pigs to horses. I lived on a farm for nearly 10 years and spent the best Summers looking after puppies and lambs. I've always had dogs around me of all breeds and sizes including German Shepherds, Terriers, Poodles, Boxers, Bulldogs, Lurchers, Dachshunds and even a Great Dane! I now live in Barnstaple with my Goldendoodle pup Barley. Being a 2 minute walk from Rock Park and a short drive to the beach makes dog walks a joy every day and both me and Barley love exploring and meeting new dogs and their owners. I have a lot of love and time to give and would love the privilege of walking your furry friends :) I work from home full time meaning I can be very flexible with when I go for dogs walks. I usually walk my dog 1-2 hours a day. I have a fully enclosed yard, large living / dining room and a park very close by. I also have a long lead if required.

About: I've taken care of dogs on and off for many years and have had dogs growing up. Home is where the dog is after all! Currently needing to fill in some time whilst I wait to start new job. I will still offer services when I start a job from Friday eve till Saturday eve. I wouldn't be able to have the dog in my home due to it being a small flat with no garden unless the dog is on the smaller side.

About: Always had dogs in our family, moved out 10 years ago and had my own dog, but after relationship breakdown I no longer have the dog and miss the companionship and caring for a dog, but can’t have my own again at the moment. I only work 3 days a week in the weekend, so have plenty of time for cuddles, walks and play time. Have plenty of green space and fields within a 5 minute walk too I have a metal fenced garden, plenty of indoor space too and dog friendly fields within a 5 minute walk. Secure building away from the main road

“Tim and Catriona have house sat for us here in Italy and were just fab, they are a super nice couple, they kept the house clean and looked after our myriad of animals. (3 x dogs, 3 x cats, 1 x rabbit and 3 goats!) They are quite clearly animal lovers and even more importantly our beloved pets loved them too! We left feeling confident leaving them in charge. We would thorougly recommend them to anyone and hope to book them again if they're not too busy by then!!”

About: I had my own pets since the age of 8, including dogs, cats and rabbits. I offer both dog walking and grooming, and can also provide pop in visits for most animals. I am a mum to two girls and my Labrador called Lenny. My hope for running my own business, is that I can show my girls you can achieve anything if you work hard enough and put in the effort! All care requirements will be discussed and followed carefully by myself. I promise to look after your fur babies as if they are my own.

About: I have always loved caring for animals. I have always had pets growing up, and even now have family pets. I have experience caring for cats and dogs while also caring for young children and children with additional needs as a part time nanny. I have looked after family members pets in their home for 2 weeks+ while they have been on holiday. I enjoy walking/hiking and visiting many different places and love to take the dogs with me to let them have a proper run and socialise on beaches, fields and costal walls. I have been to puppy training classes with my own dogs when they were puppies and have picked up training techniques and tricks which I think help a lot when building a relationship when meeting new pets and building a trusted bond. I do work full time from Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm, however, I am available weekends and evenings if required for pet sitting or dog walking. I have 3 dogs of my own and I am knowledgeable in providing a safe and comfortable environment for pets. If there’s a particular thing your pet loves doing, just let me know.

About: I'm chairman of a huge uk dog rescue and dogs are my passion . I've had animals all my life and my own pack of dogs for so many years I've lost count . I've constantly got dogs coming and going via rescue but I've decided to take a back seat now and concentrate on travel and sitting . My husband and I are both retired, my husband looks after our dogs while I sit. I don't sit and leave your animals at any time. If I go out they come with me . If I go to a nation trust house so do the dogs . My job is to look after your dogs first and foremost. I clean and garden abd look after your home . Happy to keep my eye on elderly relative in house . I will look after pets that need special attention and need meds . I'm used to bulldogs and their special needs and large breeds are not a issue , one of my Own boys us 65 kilo . I can only have dogs in my home after a meet and greet . My dogs are very use to other dogs. Our rear garden it totally secure . Our front is gated and fenced . Our cars we use to transport dogs onto the beach are air conditioned. You dog will be crated and secured . Or they can be belted on. My own dogs are all secured in transit . Our dog transport has rear abd side impact protection.
