About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember, growing up with them from birth and owning my own for the past 15 years. From the age of 10, I was walking dogs for neighbours and local families, which gave me early hands on experience and a real love of caring for dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities. I have trained a number of dogs including my own dogs and feel confident supporting a wide range of needs, from energetic puppies who need plenty of stimulation to older dogs who enjoy a gentler pace and extra cuddles. We are a very animal loving family made up of myself, my husband and our daughter, who has grown up around animals and understands how to be kind, gentle and respectful with them. Our home offers a genuine home from home environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. We share our home with Rosie, our 14 year old Collie x Poodle, Daisy, our 1 year old Labrador Retriever and our 16 year old Cat Bella who tends to keep herself to herself. If a working day our dogs get 2 - 3 walks a day from 30 minutes to 45 minutes in a range of different settings. We can meet any timetable for feeding required. I have a fenced garden and 2 friendly dogs that will support in keeping your pup entertained and engaged in games (they love tug of war and ball games!) and lots of cuddles and fuss throughout the day. We live in a quiet estate. We also can offer quiet area’s of the house if they need a little downtime to themselves where we can sit with them if required away from our pups.

“I can’t quite express how thrilled and thankful we are to have found Julia! She’s everything we could ask for in a sitter and our little dog, Heidi had the best time! She was warm and friendly, and loved and cared for Heidi as if she was her own. Communication was excellent - she sent lots of pictures and updates, and responded quickly to messages. When we first met Julia at our meet and greet, she asked lots of questions and took the time to really get to know Heidi and us. Nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond to make Heidi comfortable in her home. She even gave us a tour of her property so that we’d have an idea of where Heidi would be hanging out. Knowing that our girl was in such good hands made it easy for us to relax on our trip, and we didn’t worry about her once. When we arrived to collect Heidi, it was clear that she had really bonded with Julia and they’d become the best of friends - Heidi didn’t want to leave at first and kept running back for more cuddles! About: I've always lived with pets while growing up from the ages of 2 until recently. Both of my dogs passed away last year leaving me with no pets, I'm missing having some doggy love, and this is why I'm choosing to do this. About: I have grown up with dogs (My first word was my dog- Rolley!) and I see them as a essential part of my life and routine. I am now our lucky enough to have my own ; little Nellie. Therefore I am confident with both younger dogs to older dogs with more complex needs. I am familiar with cockapoos and cocker spaniels, but love all breeds. I have a medium sized enclosed garden, but are lucky enough to live in walking distance to two woods and a 20 minute drive to local dog friendly beaches! I am lucky enough to work from home, After work my favourite thing is to walk Nellie, meaning that dogs are rarely left. (Only if it is too hot for her on the beach!) I have a my own 1 1/2 year old cocker spaniel called nellie, she is very happy and loving with other dogs and loves evening cuddles My garden is enclosed. I would walk your dog on the lead at all times, unless superficially instructed. I am are also very happy to leave your dog in a different room to nellie, if/when we popped out. I have a crate if required, and am used to crate trained dogs. (Nellie is crate trained.) All dogs if travelling a car will be put a in their own car crate or on a doggy seatbelt. (As per the the law.) All dogs will be walked twice a day for at least 30 minutes*( unless you request otherwise, or there is extreme weather.)

About: I have worked with dogs from a young age mainly rescue. This has involved fostering, whelping and training. I’m experienced in difficult behaviour as well and all breeds.My children have been raised with dogs as we have always emergency fostered and have 3 of our own. I am also a fully qualified dog groomer and live in a lovely rural village with some beautiful walks backing on to our garden. I’m around all the time so your pet will receive my full attention. They will have 2 walks a day and than be able to relax on sofa and enjoy lots of cuddles. I have a good size fenced garden which backs on to fields for some beautiful walks. I have 3 dogs of my own which are use to other dogs as we have always fostered or had friends dogs boarding. I own Barks and Bubbles dog grooming so your pet will have fun filled day playing with other dogs and than a beautiful long walk They have the run of downstairs and cuddles on the sofa. Some dogs enjoy a relaxed sniffy stroll while others prefer a longer countryside adventure. My aim is always to give dogs safe exercise, enrichment, and a positive experience. I am comfortable working with puppies who are learning about the world, senior dogs who need gentler exercise, anxious or reactive dogs, and dogs with health conditions such as hip dysplasia. Safety, calm handling, and patience are always my priority. Drop in visits / home visits: If your pet is happiest staying in their own environment, I offer 30 minute or longer drop in visits. Visits can include letting dogs out for toilet breaks, feeding and fresh water, playtime and enrichment, litter tray cleaning, administering medication, and plenty of company and reassurance. I am also happy to help with small household tasks while you are away, such as watering plants, bringing in post, or turning lights on and off. You will always receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you can relax knowing your pets are safe and cared for. Dog boarding: I also offer short periods of home boarding for well matched dogs. Dogs staying with us become part of our daily routine and enjoy walks, enrichment, and lots of company. Our own dogs have morning and evening walks, shorter lunchtime enrichment, including plenty of sniffing games and brain work or just playing in the garden! They aren’t a terribly high energy bunch, so they’re just as happy relaxing by the fire with us too. We have a secure fenced garden and visiting dogs are always supervised. Introductions are done gently, often starting with a short walk up the lane so everyone can settle naturally. We are used to supporting nervous or reactive dogs and understand the patience and calm approach they need. Quiet spaces and a separate room are available for dogs who prefer their own area. Other pets: Alongside dogs and cats I have experience caring for many other animals including rabbits, rodents, chickens, exotics, horses, and farm animals. If you have a small menagerie at home that is absolutely fine with me! About: I've always lived with pets while growing up from the ages of 2 until recently. Both of my dogs passed away last year leaving me with no pets, I'm missing having some doggy love, and this is why I'm choosing to do this. In the past 5 years, I have looked after some family friends dogs while they go on holiday, I have looked after big dogs, small, young and old. About: I’ve had my dog since I was 7 years old, I’ve looked after him ever since, walking him regularly, feeding him, giving him water and washing him. From September 2023-July 2024 I did animal care (level 1) but I was working with the animals and doing health checks on them regularly, this includes dogs, and other animals. Alongside this course I did dog grooming where I worked for about 3-4 months as a volunteer as a part of my course. Well at the moment I’m actually doing a dog grooming course (once a week 9-5) and look after my dog when I’m at home as well as hopefully now looking after others dogs/animals. In my home, I take my dog on walks regularly, feed him every day in the evening and if he’s got a lot of energy and needs to run, as I can’t let him off the lead, I let him off I let him in the garden and throw a toy for him until he’s tired. In an owners home if I’m looking after their dog overnight or even just during the day, if they get fed at specific times, get walked at specific times ect I will set reminders on my phone for each thing to ensure I never loose track.

About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember, growing up with them from birth and owning my own for the past 15 years. From the age of 10, I was walking dogs for neighbours and local families, which gave me early hands on experience and a real love of caring for dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities. Our home offers a genuine home from home environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. We share our home with Rosie, our 14 year old Collie x Poodle, Daisy, our 1 year old Labrador Retriever and our 16 year old Cat Bella who tends to keep herself to herself. As you'll see from the photos, they are very happy, friendly dogs and a huge part of our family. They both enjoy the company of other dogs and are used to sharing their space. We have a secure, good sized garden for safe outdoor play and love exploring the beautiful North Devon countryside, beaches and woodland walks. Whether your dog enjoys adventures, games or simply relaxing at home, we'll make sure they feel happy, comfortable and well cared for. Both my husband and I between us ensure one of us work from home each day of the week, which means dogs in our care have company and supervision for the vast majority of the day. We both work from home, meaning your dog will have company and supervision for the vast majority of the time (around 95%), aside from short periods such as school runs or quick errands. We always prioritise being with any dog in our care, ensuring they feel settled, safe and never left for long periods. If they could not be left we can also work with this! I understand how important it is to feel your pet is safe and happy, whether you’re away on holiday or just need support during the day. If a working day our dogs get 2 - 3 walks a day from 30 minutes to 45 minutes in a range of different settings. We can meet any timetable for feeding required. I have a fenced garden and 2 friendly dogs that will support in keeping your pup entertained and engaged in games (they love tug of war and ball games!) and lots of cuddles and fuss throughout the day. We live in a quiet estate. We also can offer quiet area’s of the house if they need a little downtime to themselves where we can sit with them if required away from our pups.

She was warm and friendly, and loved and cared for Heidi as if she was her own. Communication was excellent - she sent lots of pictures and updates, and responded quickly to messages. When we first met Julia at our meet and greet, she asked lots of questions and took the time to really get to know Heidi and us. Nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond to make Heidi comfortable in her home. She even gave us a tour of her property so that we’d have an idea of where Heidi would be hanging out. Knowing that our girl was in such good hands made it easy for us to relax on our trip, and we didn’t worry about her once. When we arrived to collect Heidi, it was clear that she had really bonded with Julia and they’d become the best of friends - Heidi didn’t want to leave at first and kept running back for more cuddles! Honestly, I can’t praise Julia enough. We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful friend to care for Heidi when we go away. Thanks a million, Julia! Xx”

About: Georgie is a responsible, caring dog walker and sitter. Planning a move to Ilfracombe and seeking autumn/winter dog company and income. Available for WALKIES (& drop ins) before 8:30 and from 18:30 and SLEEPOVERS aka overnight boarding in owners’ home. She grew up with the beloved family Labradors, and todays family dog is Cockapoo, Jogge, Georgie loves the dog walks and being outside a lot. She has also cared for a pack of 3 Afghan hounds and 2 Westies, and 4 awesome poodles.
