“Our Deefer was so happy and relaxed as soon as walking into lees home. I got regular updates and Deefer was having lots of fun. Lee shows genuine care and love to the dogs and I felt so happy knowing my baby was not only taken care of but enjoying his time. A really friendly lovely man. Deefer will definetly be back again, highly recommend.”

“Catherine and her family were lovely. Myrtle (our dog) felt at home right away and we were able to enjoy our holiday knowing that she was in good hands. Unusual that our dogs had the same names! Thank you for taking good care of her.”

I understand that every animal has unique needs and always tailor my care to suit their personality, routine, and wellbeing. I also have a background in safeguarding and community support. Animals have always been a part of my life, a household does feel like home without a one 🐾 Working full time remotely allows me to be flexible to meet your needs. Services are tailored and personalised to all care needs. Lots of cuddles and love, treated like my own
“Michael was great with Ralph. Kept him busy on walks, playing, training tricks etc. Was also very communicative and sent lots of photos for the duration of his stay. Lovely house, big enclosed garden. Ralph had a great time and my mind was at rest leaving him there 😊”

“Millie and Dan were amazing looking after my dachshund lunatics. We got daily updates and loads of pictures of all their adventures. Millie allows the dogs to feel at home, and creates a very relaxed environment for the dogs. My dogs came home in very good conditions and very content. We will definitely rebook when we go on our next holiday.”

About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember, growing up with them from birth and owning my own for the past 15 years. From the age of 10, I was walking dogs for neighbours and local families, which gave me early hands on experience and a real love of caring for dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities. I have trained a number of dogs including my own dogs and feel confident supporting a wide range of needs, from energetic puppies who need plenty of stimulation to older dogs who enjoy a gentler pace and extra cuddles. We are a very animal loving family made up of myself, my husband and our daughter, who has grown up around animals and understands how to be kind, gentle and respectful with them. Our home offers a genuine home from home environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. We share our home with Rosie, our 14 year old Collie x Poodle, Daisy, our 1 year old Labrador Retriever and our 16 year old Cat Bella who tends to keep herself to herself. As you'll see from the photos, they are very happy, friendly dogs and a huge part of our family. They both enjoy the company of other dogs and are used to sharing their space. We have a secure, good sized garden for safe outdoor play and love exploring the beautiful North Devon countryside, beaches and woodland walks. Whether your dog enjoys adventures, games or simply relaxing at home, we'll make sure they feel happy, comfortable and well cared for. Both my husband and I between us ensure one of us work from home each day of the week, which means dogs in our care have company and supervision for the vast majority of the day. Aside from short school runs or quick errands, someone is usually at home. If your dog is unable to be left alone, please get in touch as we can often accommodate this too. I know how important it is to feel completely confident that your pet is safe, happy and loved while you're away. Whether you're heading off on holiday, need regular daycare, or are visiting North Devon and want to enjoy an activity where dogs can't join, we would be delighted to help. Any dog staying with us will be treated as an honorary member of the family, with plenty of affection, attention and care. I'm also happy to provide regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your dog is having a wonderful time. As a dog owner, I use pet sitters myself when we travel, so I completely understand how difficult it can feel leaving your dog with someone new. I'm always happy to answer any questions and arrange a meet and greet so you can feel reassured that we're the right fit for your dog. I'm not the best at remembering to take photos of myself, but I've included some of our favourite pictures, along with our garden and a few snapshots from adventures with Rosie and Daisy. I hope they give you a feel for the happy, dog loving home we can offer. We both work from home, meaning your dog will have company and supervision for the vast majority of the time (around 95%), aside from short periods such as school runs or quick errands. We always prioritise being with any dog in our care, ensuring they feel settled, safe and never left for long periods. If they could not be left we can also work with this! I understand how important it is to feel your pet is safe and happy, whether you’re away on holiday or just need support during the day. If a working day our dogs get 2 - 3 walks a day from 30 minutes to 45 minutes in a range of different settings. We can meet any timetable for feeding required. I have a fenced garden and 2 friendly dogs that will support in keeping your pup entertained and engaged in games (they love tug of war and ball games!) and lots of cuddles and fuss throughout the day. We live in a quiet estate. We also can offer quiet area’s of the house if they need a little downtime to themselves where we can sit with them if required away from our pups.
“Boo and Rob have a very calming energy which enabled Alpha to feel comfortable and settle in. He was able to socialise with other dogs they were boarding (pre-agreed) which was great for him, also. I received regular updates/pictures etc so I knew he was good. I highly recommend Boo, and I've already booked Alpha in with her again.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is a lifelong love of dogs, having grown up surrounded by pups of all shapes and sizes, from tiny lap dogs to big goofy gentle giants. That experience only grew stronger at home with my own crazy, lovable German Shorthaired Pointer, Bear, who keeps life full of energy, chaos, and laughs. I bring that same mix of care, patience, and playful enthusiasm to every dog I look after—treating each one like part of the family, celebrating every zoomie, and making sure tails are wagging from start to finish. A typical day for me is a cosy mix of stay-at-home mum life with my one year old little boy and Bear, who both believe every morning should start with enthusiasm, noise, and absolutely no lie-ins. My day usually flows between naps, snacks, laundry, and the usual mum multitasking—always with Bear right in the middle of it all, supervising like she runs the household. Walks, playtime, and little pockets of chaos are woven through the day, whether it’s a quick dash outside with Bear or an impromptu zoomie session in the garden. Evenings are for winding down with family time, a tired but happy dog, and that comforting kind of chaos that comes with a full, love-filled home. I’m also available at weekends, offering the same care, cuddles, and cheerful chaos—perfect for when your dog needs a little extra love while you’re away or busy. When caring for pets in my home, their safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priority. I make sure my home is fully pet-friendly and secure, with anything potentially harmful safely out of reach and doors, gates, and bins properly secured. I create a warm, cosy space where dogs can relax and feel completely at home, with fresh water always available and a quiet spot if they need a break from all the excitement. Our days are a happy mix of walks, playtime, and cuddles, along with life at home playing alongside my 1-year-old little boy—so there’s always a bit of extra giggles, gentle chaos, and lots of love to go around. I follow a calm, consistent routine so every dog feels settled and secure, and I always keep a close eye on them as they become part of our little family. With plenty of care, attention, and a home full of warmth (and wagging tails), I aim to make every dog feel safe, happy, and completely adored while in my care. 🐾💛
“We cannot recommmed Isabelle more! She was absolutely fantastic and highly accommodating for our nervous Great Dane. She kept us updated and really bonded with our dog. Not only that, you could clearly tell she was extremely knowledgable and highly experienced in looking after a range of dogs. Thank you so much. We will now always use Isabelle!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Jenny! Absolutely amazing with our little boy, Monty. It was our first time using this service and we found it very easy and straightforward! Jenny was extremely delightful, friendly and kind. We felt confident and comfortable leaving our boy with her – and most of all, Monty enjoyed his time as he was well looked after! We will definitely be returning again :)”

“Adele looked after my two cats, Gnocchi and Luna for several days (the longest I left them). We got updates throughout the visit which was lovely as I always think about them when we are away. We came home and it was clear the cats were happy. They had been well looked after, fed and were not stressed as they would have been in a cattery. ”

“Becky was great. We had recently moved to Devon & had no one to look after Luna. She is a very shy cat and doesn’t like strangers, but she managed to coax Luna out, just so she could see Becky. Was really flexible with coming over short notice as well to go through routines. ”

“Alex was a great dog sitter for our anniversary meal out. We were staying in an air bnb on holiday and Alex had no issues keeping our 7 month old puppy occupied and happy whilst we were gone. His communication ahead of the day was great, he was very detailed and inquisitive to make sure he could provide the best care for our dog. He made sure to arrive earlier than planned to avoid anxiety for our little pup and he was a pleasure to meet. Thanks Alex!”

Caring for him taught me the importance of patience, love, routine, and understanding the unique personalities of our pets. After he passed, I realised how much I missed the companionship that animals bring. About: I've been caring for dogs and other animals pretty much all of my life. My grandma used to breed Newfoundlands so I was always helping with her gentle giants! From walking and grooming to playing and meal times. I've never not had a dog in my life and they truly do make your life a million times better. When I was 10 we got my best friend, a little whippet puppy who was just the best! We sadly lost him at the ripe age of 12 at the end of last year. It's so important to take extra care of them when they become old and fragile and having to change certain aspects of their life so they don't get down about the things they can't do anymore. I've had the pleasure of getting to know all different breeds and their personalities from Huskies to Dachshunds and Spaniels, Whippets, Staffies, Pocket bullies, xl bullies, Retrievers and Newfoundlands. We have a 7 month old pocket bully and she has to be one of the funniest and loving dogs we've ever had. Before we got her of course we did alot of research and she is such a well behaved girl. It's important that the training starts from the day you get them and I feel that if someone's dog isn't properly trained then they aren't going to know how to deal with someone elses. I adore all dogs and always treat them like they're a part of the family! I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to do what I love most which is being with animals. I also travel to Cornwall atleast once a week so I am very flexible on where I can go too! I plan on mostly doing home visits and or walks. I will ask lots of questions for example using treats etc and asking about allergies. Everyone and every dog is different so it's tailoring every experience to suit the dog and owner so everyone is happy. I know it takes a lot of trust to allow someone into your home and or to take your dog for a walk so I will be making sure I know as much as possible and listening to every word the owner says!

About: I have cared for many cats throughout my life, from playful kittens to senior cats needing extra attention. I understand their unique personalities and needs, ensuring they feel comfortable and loved. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or keeping their litter box fresh and clean, I provide a stress-free environment for every cat. I also have experience with feeding routines, administering basic medications, and making even the shyest cats feel at ease.

About: I grew up with cats, and they have always been present in my life. I even took care of one in Bristol while I was a student in Bristol, and worked in the 'Bag O Nails', a famous cat pub in the city centre. I have also looked after cats when volunteering in sanctuaries across Europe and Africa. I have also cat sat locally on numerous occasions.

“Michael’s family are so in love with dogs that it’s clear to see from the second we Winnie entered their home. We were at a wedding and so naturally nervous about leaving our little girl for the whole day, but we had regular updates, pictures and stories. Winnie even got to enjoy a trip to the beach! It was so comforting knowing that she was in safe hands, and we will 100% be rebooking the next time we are in Devon for an event and need Winnie taken care of.”

“Nikita was incredible! She took care of my puppy Pilchard on his first ever night away from me, and her kindness really shone through. Pilchard is a nervous pup and she was so understanding, and even let him sleep in her bed when he was feeling scared in his crate. She sent lovely, reassuring updates, and every part of the experience was seamless. I definitely recommend Nikita.”

About: I’ve had my dog since I was 7 years old, I’ve looked after him ever since, walking him regularly, feeding him, giving him water and washing him. From September 2023-July 2024 I did animal care (level 1) but I was working with the animals and doing health checks on them regularly, this includes dogs, and other animals. Alongside this course I did dog grooming where I worked for about 3-4 months as a volunteer as a part of my course. Well at the moment I’m actually doing a dog grooming course (once a week 9-5) and look after my dog when I’m at home as well as hopefully now looking after others dogs/animals. In my home, I take my dog on walks regularly, feed him every day in the evening and if he’s got a lot of energy and needs to run, as I can’t let him off the lead, I let him off I let him in the garden and throw a toy for him until he’s tired. In an owners home if I’m looking after their dog overnight or even just during the day, if they get fed at specific times, get walked at specific times ect I will set reminders on my phone for each thing to ensure I never loose track.

About: Cared for dogs all my life, currently have a cocker named Prince who is super friendly. I'm a Royal Marine who is leaving the service this year. I am wanting to set up a dog boarding business on a larger scale when I retire. So I want to expose myself to all breeds and educate myself now to give me a good base knowledge. I love exercising dogs and don't see it as a chore as I like to grab lots of exercise too. Rest assured I would treat your loved one as one of my own pets and would cherish the time spent with them!! I have also just gained a level 3 diploma in Canine Welfare and behaviour. I make looking after my dog part of my day to day lifestyle, enjoying trips to the beach, park, swimming, runs etc. We are lucky to be in a great location to go different fun places with the dogs. I live in military quarters that has a fenced garden. Local dog walks are in abundance. I have a van I don't mind getting messy if it means getting the hounds down to the beach or dunes for a swim. Your pet would have freedom to move around the house as they wish.

“Imogen was excellent with my GSP. 2 walks over 2 days whilst we were holidaying locally and Imogen took a huge amount of care to make sure the walks were suitable and she tailored the second walk to one that my dog would really enjoy (lots of sniffing opportunities!) Will absolutely use again when we're in the area. Would highly recommend.”

I have looked after other people's cats and dogs my whole life and have volunteered at Dogs Trust in my teenage years. I love all animals and am at my happiest when in their company. I love the outdoors and have a boundless energy - its like your dog will be taking me for the walk... but can be calm and assertive when needed. About: Having grown up with cats myself and having two of my own pets, I have had a great deal of experience in looking after animals. For many years I have also looked after pets for friends and family which has included administering medication and dental paste, as well as the usual feeding and cleaning rituals. I have also walked dogs for other pet owners in the past and have loved engaging with the animals and the interaction that this brings. I am also happy to brush and groom your pet/s if this is preferred and will also maintain an impeccable level of cleanliness and hygiene when visiting your home to take care of your pet. As well as the practical level of care that I provide for animals, I am a firm believer in providing affection and close contact with pets, especially as they will miss their owners whilst being away. As a pet owner myself, I understand how one can miss their pet whilst away and I’d be more than happy to provide daily regular updates and photos and/or videos of your pet whilst you are away. I will always maintain your pet is in excellent hands and you will return to a happy and a calm pet upon the return of your trip. My hours on a weekly basis are flexible and I will be able to carry out morning and evening visits including weekends as well as during the week. As I have two of my own pets I will only be able to take care of your pet/s within your own home. I will ensure that I follow all security procedures. For example, I will always keep windows closed and will keep doors locked/ closed when visiting and leaving your property. Please let me know if there are any alarms that need to be set or turned on/off during the visits. If you have a house cat which does not roam outdoors, then I will strictly adhere to keeping your cat securely indoors. If I am walking your dog, then I will always keep the dog on a leash. If there are any medical concerns, then I will contact both yourself and the registered vet, and so I would need the details of the veterinary surgery.
About: Hi we are Leah & Tim, we have big hearts for animals. Here is some information about us below. Leah - Hi, I'm Leah! I've always grown up with dogs and animal's since I was little and at 13 was a key help in training and caring for my collie. Since then I have grown up with him and realised just how incredible dogs are, and how lucky we are to have them. My collie Rusty passed away in 2020, since then a big part of me was taken too. I miss him dearly and miss in general a dogs presence you can be assured your dog would be so loved and cared for by me, and have lots of fun! I know how special they are, and that they are a part of the family. Tim - Hi, I'm Tim! I have been with Leah for 5 years now, during this time I had bonded heavily with her dog Rusty, realising how much a part of the family they are. I have always been a heavy animal lover. I have many pets myself ranging from fish to python to rabbits. Throughout my life I have grown up caring and looking after animals, anything from hurt hedgehogs to bats. This is something instilled in me by my family. I would love to look after and care for your dog. As with my life situation at this time I am unable to have one of my own. Look forward to hearing from you! I am currently busy monday-friday but can be available at weekends Saturday or Sunday. On these days I could be available earliest 10am and onwards throughout the day. This does not apply to myself, as I am not able to have pets stay with me at my home unfortunately. Sorry for any inconvenience.
About: I'm a qualified dog walker and pet sitter. I have qualified in level 2 animal care, level 2 vet nursing and level 3 pet first aid. I have grown up with a variety of different types of pets. I have been working with dogs for the last 8 years. I work with your pets during the day and then I have an evening job that is 3 hours and not related to animals. The evening job is near my home, so I will only do it if I'm on local sits. I will put your dogs in a crate or a safe room in the house, if I'm going out to the shops. I make sure outside space is safe for your pet.
About: Animals have always been a big part of my life having owned cats and dogs, (cocker spaniels and a German short haired pointer), and helping on local friends small holdings. I have also been a volunteer dog walker for 10 years with the cinnamon trust (an amazing charity for the elderly). Currently I don't own any pets, so am in a position to be able to give your pet the attention and care it needs. I completely understand also how nerve-racking it can be entrusting your family member to a new person but with meeting and talking before, I hope I can put you and your pet/s at ease. I currently work from home but am flexible in my hours so i am able to give your pet the care, attention and exercise they need, based on their routines and your wishes. I live in a detached house with a fenced garden enabling them to access this whenever required. I also live close to various walks including the beach, fields and parks so can give them the exercise they require based on their need. Within my home there are no other pets so they would get full attention. They would also be allowed on the furniture (if you say this is alright....).

I have a work from home lifestyle, which means I have loads of time to walk, play and cuddle with your dog. I am passionate about walking and have access to incredible walks right from my house.
About: Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and for 11 wonderful years, I had the joy of sharing my life with a Cavachon who I really miss. Caring for him taught me the importance of patience, love, routine, and understanding the unique personalities of our pets. After he passed, I realised how much I missed the companionship that animals bring. Becoming a pet sitter allows me to share that love and experience with others, offering their pets the same level of care and attention I gave my own. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when you're away from your furry family member, and I’m here to provide just that—gentle, reliable, and attentive care tailored to each pet's needs. I work flexible part time so have good availability during week days and weekends. I am based in between Worcestershire, Bristol and Westward Ho so can cover these areas When caring for pets in your own home, I aim to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible. I stick closely to your instructions and their regular routine—feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications if needed. I also make sure they feel loved and comforted while you're away. I treat your home with respect, keeping things tidy and secure, and I’m always happy to send updates and pictures so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: I am passionate about working with dogs, and I’m an experienced dog walker / sitter. I have volunteered in Dog sanctuaries across Europe and Africa, dealing with dogs of all different breeds, ages and health conditions. I have a full, clean drivers license and own my own car! I work as a freelance Animator out of my studio in Penryn. As I work for myself I am able to structure my days around my animal care commitments, which take priority when scheduling my calendar. I believe it is a big responsibility taking care of someones beloved pet, and I treat animals and other peoples homes with the utmost respect. I am very adaptable and understand that all animals are different and need different sorts of care. I am an excellent communicator, and will work with the owner to provide the best care possible for each pet.

“A home from home. Dale and Scott looked after Fergus like he was their own. They gave Fergus lots of love, cuddles and belly rubs. Their outside space is safe and secure and location is perfect for long safe walks off lead. We were sent regular photo updates of Fergus’s sleepover and fun he was having out and about.”

“I can’t quite express how thrilled and thankful we are to have found Julia! She’s everything we could ask for in a sitter and our little dog, Heidi had the best time! She was warm and friendly, and loved and cared for Heidi as if she was her own. Communication was excellent - she sent lots of pictures and updates, and responded quickly to messages. When we first met Julia at our meet and greet, she asked lots of questions and took the time to really get to know Heidi and us. Nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond to make Heidi comfortable in her home. She even gave us a tour of her property so that we’d have an idea of where Heidi would be hanging out. Knowing that our girl was in such good hands made it easy for us to relax on our trip, and we didn’t worry about her once. When we arrived to collect Heidi, it was clear that she had really bonded with Julia and they’d become the best of friends - Heidi didn’t want to leave at first and kept running back for more cuddles! Honestly, I can’t praise Julia enough. We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful friend to care for Heidi when we go away. Thanks a million, Julia! Xx”

“After an introductory meeting, we knew Andrew was the right person to look after our boy. A genuine love of dogs, fantastic varied exercise and a proper home from home environment - would highly recommend Andrew and his family for a doggy vacation 10/10 😊🐾🐶”
