About: Growing up my family has always had dogs and these have all been of varying breeds and sizes. When I moved out of my family home my partner and I decided to get a golden retriever, Harley, so any dogs coming to stay will need to be comfortable around him. Harley is very welcoming to any guests and is used to spending time with small, medium and large dogs so will be good company for your pet. I have a flexible job that enables me to work from home. It is a very sedentary job so I like to go on walks and be outside in my breaks and free time. We live in kingsteignton with an enclosed garden and a gate that opens up onto a park so ideal for the dogs. (Both the garden and park are in the pictures). This means we have several walks on our doorstep but we also like to drive to some. We love going on long walks with Harley and we like to keep the routes varied so we never really do the same walk two days in a row. We have no children and Harley is our only pet.

About: Hi, I’m passionate about providing the very best care for animals and have over 10 years of hands-on experience working with a wide range of pets. I hold Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Animal Management and am trained in pet first aid, giving you added peace of mind that your pet will be in safe and capable hands. For the past 7 years, I’ve worked in a busy kennels and cattery, caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. This experience has given me the skills to confidently handle everything from energetic puppies to senior pets and those with individual care needs. I understand that every pet is unique, so I always take the time to get to know their personality, routine, and preferences. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, administering medication if required, or simply providing companionship, I’ll treat your pet with the same love, patience, and care as if they were my own. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’m committed to providing reliable, professional, and loving care while keeping you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I currently work part time in the kennels and cattery, I have plenty of time on my days off where I’m trying to build my own business. I am first aid trained and always carry a first aid kit on all my walks. No walks will be off lead unless I have written permission from owners and the dog has proven to me they have good recall and they listen to me.

About: I've grown up with a variety of pets my whole life and have always been an immense animal lover! Because of this, I am often relied on by friends and family to look after their fur-babies whilst they are away and also have lots of experience house-sitting. I'm at my happiest when I'm around dogs and animals and giving them the love and attention they deserve. I own my own home so I'm therefore very responsible and respectful of whoever's home I'm staying in. I will be sure to follow your instructions regarding pet care and certain things around the house. I currently work full-time Monday to Friday so I would be available to look after your pup(s) from late afternoon on Friday until Sunday evening (or early Monday morning). On some occasions if need be, it may be possible for me to work remotely from your home (if WiFi permits and dependant on your facilities but I would need plenty of notice for this). Over the weekend I will be on hand every couple of hours to give your fur-babies my undivided attention, walkies and play time! I would also be available to pop in for checks and short walks during weekday evenings as well. I have a handsome miniature dachshund who keeps me company while I work from home during the week. I have a fenced and secure garden and have a car seat cover that covers the entire back seat meaning we can go further afield for walks as where we live has lots to offer on our doorstep for a variety of walks and terrain. We tend to go on two walks a day and perhaps a longer, more adventurous one on the weekends.

About: I have taken care of many animals over the years… right from when I was 6 years old! Growing up in New Zealand, I owned many different types of pets from rabbits to horses. My family have always owned dogs and have had several different breeds, all with their own unique personalities so I know how to adapt the care I give to ensure your beloved family member gets the best care! I am a mum to two young children so I spend a lot of time at home so am able to make sure your furbaby is well cared for. If for whatever reason I need to pop out, my husband would be at home so your pet would never be left alone for long periods of time. I am here to offer a few services for your beloved pets. From boarding where your pet will stay in my family home to dog walking where I'll take your fur baby to a local park etc. I tend to do long walks around 4 miles or so, but can take different equally as fun routes if your pet isn't up for as long walks! I live in the beautiful town of Dawlish so there is a countryside park around 10 minutes away, a few grassy areas and most importantly, the beach! We currently live in a 2 bed ground-floor apartment with my 2 children and my husband. Although we don't have a garden, I take all our doggie guests out often during the day for short walk around the block so they have time to go toilet. These walks are separate to the 4 mile walks as previously mentioned! I can walk your dog as often as needed. Your pet will have free roam of the open plan kitchen and living room. They will be allowed on our comfy sofa to have a rest and cuddles! My kids are brilliant with pets, they are being taught how to handle animals safely and are learning when a dog has had enough playtime/ cuddles, and will never be left alone unsupervised with your pet. I am an extremely trustworthy and reliable person. You will be able to rest assured knowing that your pet is in the best care where they are being walked lots, played with and cuddled for the whole time your away. I will also send you updates and pictures while you are away so you can see for yourself how much fun your pet is having! And just so you can be absolutely certain I am one you can fully trust, I have a full enhanced DBS and can provide references if required.

About: We are a dog walking and pet sitting business inspired by our two rescue dogs, Chase and Lacey — which is where the name Walkies with Chase and Lacey comes from 🐾 We specialise in 1-to-1 dog walks, perfect for nervous, reactive, or more sensitive dogs, while also offering small group walks for sociable pups. Through my experience owning rescue dogs, I understand that every dog is different. Some are confident and energetic, while others need patience, reassurance, and time to build trust — and I always work at each dog’s pace. I have hands-on experience with nervous and sensitive dogs. One of my own dogs, Chase, was extremely anxious around strangers when I first adopted him and avoided all contact. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, I’ve helped him grow into a much more relaxed and social dog. Because of this, I’m very confident in reading body language and recognising when a dog may feel overwhelmed. I always prioritise making dogs feel safe, comfortable, and secure in my care. All services are tailored to suit your dog’s individual needs — whether that’s calm walks, playtime, or companionship while you’re away. Every dog is treated as if they were my own. I offer flexible availability throughout the week, with a focus on daytime walks and visits. Monday & Tuesday: Available mornings and early afternoons (before 3pm) Wednesday – Friday: Full availability for walks, visits, and pet sitting Saturday: Available during the day (before 5pm) Sunday: Available in the morning (before 11:30am) I’m also happy to offer pet sitting and overnight stays, depending on your dog or cat’s needs — feel free to message to discuss specific times. In a pet owner’s home, I aim to keep everything as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow their usual routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest, as I know how important familiarity is — especially for nervous or sensitive pets. I make sure they get plenty of attention, enrichment, and companionship, while also respecting their space if they prefer a calmer approach. For dog walks, I offer both 1-to-1 and small group walks, depending on what suits your dog best. I pay close attention to body language and behaviour to ensure every dog feels safe and comfortable, and I always walk at their pace. These walks can include some enrichment games, ball throwing or just a good sniff in the bushes. If your dog loves something I’ll be sure to include it in our walk. For cats and smaller pets, I provide calm, gentle care — including feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, and interaction based on their personality, whether that’s playtime or simply quiet company. I also keep owners updated with regular messages, photos, and videos for peace of mind. If caring for pets in my own home (if applicable), I provide a safe, clean, and secure environment with plenty of attention, structure, and comfort, treating them as part of the family while they’re with me. I have a walled off garden and have two resident friendly dogs. There are multiple crates on site if your dog ever needs some me time. There are multiple areas to lounge including the sofa and dog beds. Due to warmer weather there is also a dog paddling pool in the garden

About: My story 🐾 I’ve always loved animals! I grew up with rabbits and in 2022 I spent time in Italy caring for 3 dogs, 4 cats, and a rescue bunny while helping on a house renovation. Later that year, my partner and I opened a Rover profile and cared for lots of wonderful pets. After some travelling, we’ve now settled in Devon with our 1-year-old dog, Alby 🐾. My partner works full time, and I’m reopening the pet business alongside my part-time work. Animal Care 🐾 I am available for day or night pet sitting, walking, and drop ins, and we are considering boarding in the future too. I can care for your pup, cat or small animal. I am happy to arrange a free meet and greet before walks and sits. I’m very active and enjoy walking and exploring so will enjoy taking your pup for walks or keeping your cats healthy and active. However, if you need me to be purely at the house then that is fine too. As an owner you can tell me how you would like your pet to be looked after, and I will look after them as such. So, if you have a super strict schedule for them that’s fine or if you’re really laid back, that’s fine too! I may bring my dog Alby on some walks too. Please let me know if you would prefer him not to attend. He is such a loving boy and has been attending daycare whilst we have been working full time – so he is used to a variety of other breeds and temperaments. He will be a great pal for your dog! I have administered medication for pets before and with clear instructions would have no quarrels with taking on that extra responsibility. Prior to a sit, please let me know your vet details, backup contact, feeding & walking schedule, or if they require any medication. I know how important it is to feel your pets are safe, happy and well cared for when you’re away. 🐾Whether it’s a fun walk, a cosy overnight stay, or keeping their usual routine. I have cared for dogs of different sizes, ages and temperaments and will tailor each booking as such. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout. Availability 🐾 I will be working part-time hours at my regular job so if my Rover profile is showing some unavailability please feel free to message me if you need care during these hours and I will see what I can arrange. I am available for day or night pet sitting, walking, and drop ins, and we are considering boarding in the future too. I can care for your pup, cat or small animal. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for last-minute bookings for Dog Walking. With 580 Walkers in Teignbridge, 42% respond to messages in under 5 minutes.

Many sitters keep their calendars updated in real time and you can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care in the next 24 hours, you can look for sitters with a 'calendar last updated' notice on their profiles.
