Right now I own a golden retriever who is in training to be a service dog for anxiety and PTSD My Boxer had 12 puppies when i was younger and I got her to trust me with her puppies quite easily, I've looked after stray dogs in the past, gaining their trust and friendship. I am a Comp sci student who spends 99% of his time at home with my current dog. Our day includes morning walk around town or to the dog park, cuddles and training then an evening/night walk with some more training Care includes many aspects such as basic needs, water is providied 24/7, food plan followed, engagment and play time with myself with all the toys, ensuring all the pent up energy is released outside to ensure the dog is not bored. For all types of dogs during the cold season, my heating will be turned on for as long as required.

6. Emma H.
“If you're looking for a caring and friendly person to trust your pet with, Emma is perfect for you. I have a dog with severe anxiety and hence trust difficulties, yet she felt comfortable around Emma from their first meeting. Not only is my dog comfortable around Emma, but she also really enjoys her company (usually by playing ball) and now gets incredibly excited to see her. I can't recommend her enough!”

7. George W.
“George is a great person to trust with your pets! He leads a very active lifestyle so you know that any walks your pets will go on will be substantial and done properly, he’s a safe driver too which helps with any anxiety an owner might have if a car is required. Very calm and gentle with animals, I have two dogs and they both are very happy and comfortable to be around George. I can safely say, from experience, that he’s a fab person to have look after your animals!”

8. Hui-Ying L.
“Hui-Ling is a natural with dogs! My dog Ronan absolutely adored the time they spent together in Kananaskis. They went for a walk, and she handled him very well, as he is a strong boy. They played frisbee together and she entertained him in our hotel suite while we were at dinner. I thought she was so great I invited her to come house, yard and dog sit for a three-week period. I really like her personality and her love (and experience) with dogs is evident. I would recommend her and trust her with my dog!”

9. Amber J.
“Bee is an incredibly reliable, responsible, caring, and attentive dog trainer and sitter. She has an excellent attitude towards dog care, treating every dog like they are her own. She helped me enormously whilst looking after a friend’s dog who had behavioural issues. She took initiative to work with the dog to ensure that it would not pose harm to others. By the end of the week, the dog was much happier and relaxed around strangers. All down to Bee’s excellent training abilities! I would highly recommend Bee as a dog sitter and trainer. She is kind and gentle, and will make your dog feel calm, settled, and at home in her company.”

12. Niamh D.
“Niamh is the loveliest and kindest person you will meet. They care for every person and animal so deeply and will go to the ends of the earth to ensure the people and things they're surrounded with are okay. The dogs who are graced with the care of them are incredibly lucky and will no doubt have an amazing time, filled with love and fun ❤”

15. Poppy W.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was 8 years old. I’ve had 4 dogs, two have sadly passed both getting to enjoy their senior years, and two young rescue dogs. I’ve been looking after these dogs alone since I was 10 and then from 14 I started pet sitting for friends and family members. I’ve got experience looking after young dogs all the way to senior dogs. I also have knowledge on looking after dogs with disabilities such as blindness and deafness. I have also looked after dogs that can be difficult with either other dogs or people, and understand that they may need more attention. I am a university student, my schedule is pretty set however I have a lot of time off and can do anytime of day. The most I wouldn’t be able to do is 2 hours in a day, however these are not back to back when I cannot do them. I am also able to do weekends when needed I will learn to understand how each person/family looks after their dog and keeps their house, to ensure the dog and owner feel comfortable and the dogs routine stays almost the same. I also know the signs of when dogs get hungry or need the toilet so will avoid any accidents.

16. Amy S.

“Very kind & accommodating on Odin's walks!”

20. Lily T.
About: I have had dogs and taken care of them my entire life from puppies to elderly dogs. I often dog sit for my neighbour's and friends, whether it’s just a quick visit to feed them and let them out or a longer visit with play time and a bath. I am a huge dog lover of all breeds with experience in all sizes ( I grew up with bullmastiffs and a lab cross and now own two smaller dogs, one being a jack russel) so I can also manage the varying temperaments. I am happy to do all the requirements to meet yours and your dogs needs. I am a university student who isn’t in very often and would love to spend my free time caring for dogs. I am free most weekdays apart from a two hour slot where I may be in uni. However I am free the rest of the day. I am free some weekends, but can be flexible with this so if I am really needed care can be arranged. With being a student I have done a fair bit of walking around Plymouth and know of some good routes for dog walking. I will keep your dog safe at all times and away from busy roads unless on a short lead. Also I have a lot of experience with crate training as all of my dogs have been crate trained so if your dog(s) are also I will always make sure they are back in their crate for when I leave your home if that is required. I will make sure they are well loved and cared for when I am dog sitting and will meet all of yours and your dogs wants and needs for the visit.
