About: -Flexible, positive method Dog Trainer -Pick up & Drop offs available on request -Only accepting dog friendly non-reactive Dogs for boarding -Training enquiries welcome I am Amber, a puppy behaviourist and dog trainer working in Plymouth. I am working towards my Level 3 qualification in Assistance Dog Training, and have plenty of time to interact with dogs while I study from home. I have trained and cared for a range of dogs over the past few years, and raised my own Sprollie Scout and Assistance Dog Sparrow. I am also a Musical Director and Project Manager, I work from home most of the time but do often work some evenings. Housesitting: I am delighted to offer my services as a house-sitter at competitive rates, as I work both inside and outside of the house during my week. Please ensure your dog is happy home alone for up to a full working day, and has a flexible schedule, if you’d like me to housesit for you. 24/7 sits available, depending on availability, at £15ph. Light cleaning included (bedsheets changed, surface wiped, vacuum cleaned) Extra cleaning is £30ph. I work from home most of the week, as I work as a Project Manager and Musical Director, so I'm only out for around 10 hours a week! I also work as a musician, but that means I am at home composing most of the time, and of course going on lovely walks with my dog. I have a big house with a dedicated Dog room and lovely grassy garden! Dogs are absolutely allowed in the rest of the house during the day. I have plenty of doors in between their main room and the front exit, so dogs are very safe and secure in the house. PLEASE NOTE: I will only accept non-reactive dogs with no vocal issues. I live in a terraced house with 2 resident dogs, so unfortunately I cannot accept dogs who are reactive/ will reactively bark/ whimper excessively.

About: I’ve been a dedicated dog owner for the past 3 years, giving me daily, hands-on experience with feeding routines, structured walks, playtime, basic training, and understanding canine behaviour. Caring for my own dog has taught me responsibility, patience, and how important consistency is for a happy, well-balanced pup. I’m confident handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments and always adapt to each dog’s individual needs. Whether your dog is energetic and loves long walks or prefers a calmer pace and extra cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m available most weekends, including late Friday afternoons and evenings, making me a great option for weekend trips, evenings out, or last-minute plans. I’m flexible with timing and always do my best to accommodate your schedule where possible. In my home, pets are supervised, kept in a calm environment, and given plenty of attention and care. While I don’t have a garden, I live very close to Central Park, which provides plenty of safe, open space for regular walks, exercise, and enrichment. I make sure all dogs are kept on-lead unless otherwise agreed. I carefully follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding times, exercise needs, and any specific instructions you provide.

About: As the dedicated pet sitter in the family, with two well-trained border collies, I stand out by being trustworthy and reliable. I've been trusted with dog walking my border collies since I was 12 when we got them! Clear communication, frequent pupdates, and a genuine love for animals define my approach. Whether it’s following feeding instructions precisely or ensuring pets’ safety during walks, I prioritize their well-being. I'm not qualified or have certificates, but you can trust me to treat your furry companions like family! My weekends are usually entirely free with a handful of weekdays, always looking for an extra shift for my university savings!! I'm just eager to be out and about with new pups or inside cuddling with some cats! ☺️ I always treat all animals like they're my own and their own person. I love to play, walk, cuddle – I'm down for it all!

So happy with the dog walking service provided by Alex. He has been very flexible when it comes to availability at short notice and arrival times etc. We have a large, powerful husky but that didn’t phase him at all. He is very friendly and reassuring and our dog seemed to really enjoy going out for walks with him. He would send me a message when he was on his way to us and send photos of her, while they were out. I will definitely be booking him in the future and would certainly recommend him to others 🙂 Thanks Alex 👍

About: ❗Please note that prices are subject to travel cost and time! 🐶🐈‍⬛ I always liked being around animals and when I was young we adopted a cat and a couple of years later a dog too! I got to learn how to take good care of them on a day-to-day basis, and gained experience in handling pet visits, care after surgery and managing their requirements. Our family had multiple self-trained dogs before, so I can assure you that yours will be in safe hands as well :) I'm a university students who likes to move, go out a lot and explore! I'm quite flexible as I don't have to be in every day and I'm also happy to hop in before and after lectures. I'm sure we will be able to find a time that fits us both! I consider myself a patient and cooperative person with both dogs and cats of all kind! I always pay attention to their body language to make sure they are feeling well and comfortable in their environment. Additionally, I make sure that your pet get their daily movement and engagement by walks and playing, and of course to receive proper nutrition and hygiene. I even enjoy having small training sessions with them! Every pet is different so please let me know about their requirements and needs! I'm looking forward to working with you and your pet! :))

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for them. I currently have a 12-year-old working Cocker Spaniel who I've had since he was a puppy, so I've experienced every stage of a dog's life, from puppyhood through to senior care. I understand the importance of providing dogs with plenty of attention, exercise, companionship, and a safe environment where they feel comfortable and happy. Through caring for my own dog, I've gained experience with daily walks, feeding routines, administering basic care, and supporting an older dog with age-related needs. What sets me apart is my genuine love for dogs, my patience, and my understanding that every dog has their own personality and routine. I treat every dog as if they were my own, ensuring they receive lots of care, affection, and attention while in my care. 🐾❤️ Pet care is already a big part of my daily life. I work Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm, which means I am available every evening for walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I also have weekends completely free, allowing me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pets in my care. During school holidays and half terms, I have full availability, giving me even more flexibility for pet sitting and dog walking. As a dog owner myself, caring for animals is something I do every day, and I understand the importance of maintaining routines, providing exercise, and ensuring pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I have a 12-year-old working Cocker Spaniel who I've cared for since he was a puppy, so looking after dogs is a natural part of my everyday routine. 🐾❤️ I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I follow each owner's instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medication requirements, and any specific needs their pet may have. In a pet owner's home, I aim to keep pets in their usual routine as much as possible to help them feel relaxed and settled. I'll provide plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, fresh water, and regular toilet breaks, as well as lots of affection and companionship. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your pet is being cared for properly, so I'm happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. Having cared for my own Cocker Spaniel from puppyhood into his senior years, I'm comfortable looking after dogs of different ages, personalities, and activity levels. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritise their happiness, safety, and wellbeing.

About: We always had at least one dog when I was growing up, most of the time a cat too. My most complicated house sitting experience, was one cat with medical conditions, a tropical fish tank, a goldfish pond, a house and garden full of plants to tend, and local wildlife (birds, squirrels, and badgers) to feed. It went off without a hitch and I was fully capable of that. I'm happy to take on complicated or simple jobs. Looking after pets is my primary job, so I'm free any day of the week at the moment for visits, walks or house sitting. Either regular or one offs. To start with I'd want to talk to the pet's owners to determine what the pet's everyday routine is, favourite toys, favourite walk spots etc. I believe it's important to keep life as normal as possible for your pet until your pet gets used to me, but with some added fun of course.

My partner and I, both work from home and have a good sized enclosed garden, so a great setup to care for dogs and make sure they are well attended to.
