I got to learn how to take good care of them on a day-to-day basis, and gained experience in handling pet visits, care after surgery and managing their requirements. Our family had multiple self-trained dogs before, so I can assure you that yours will be in safe hands as well :) I'm a university students who likes to move, go out a lot and explore! I'm quite flexible as I don't have to be in every day and I'm also happy to hop in before and after lectures. I'm sure we will be able to find a time that fits us both! I consider myself a patient and cooperative person with both dogs and cats of all kind! I always pay attention to their body language to make sure they are feeling well and comfortable in their environment. Additionally, I make sure that your pet get their daily movement and engagement by walks and playing, and of course to receive proper nutrition and hygiene. Joe sorted out some good walks and flexed Rusty’s normal schedule so they were walking in the cool of the evening rather than the midday heat. About: Hi, I’m Abby, I'm 22 years old and love dogs!! I had many dogs growing up and was in charge of looking after them, but unfortunately I can't have any pets now due to my lifestyle. I haven’t got any kids around so no need to worry if your dog isn’t great with children. I love going for walks with your furry friends - I live right next to a woodland area, which is perfect for going on walks. I am a full-time nurse, working 4 days/week, and my schedule does vary by the week, but the calendar will be updated regularly. I am a full-time nurse, so I spend 4 days/week working at the hospital, however when I am not on working, I am often available. I would love to spend my days off looking after your furry friends, walking them during the day and keeping them busy! I live in a home with a small enclosed garden. My home is right next to a large park/woodland area with many paths and routes to walk your dogs.

About: I currently own a 14 year old male Chihuahua named Milo. Myself and my boyfriend live in a home near central park but also have a lovely secure garden. In November 2025, alongside working full time I have been providing dog/house sitting for a 13 year old Pekingese, 2 guinea pigs and chicken where I offer a high level of care, administer oral medicine and take care of eye treatment and I understand the importance of patience, routine, and attentive care — especially with senior dogs. I have really taken to enjoying looking after someone else's pets so I registered as self employed and have decided to pick up some Rover clients too! I have experience with owning my own dog, a rabbit when I was around 11, plus my grandparents had sheep, cows, chickens, ducks, and all manner of farm animals which I was happily involved in from a young age! My work schedule varies as I currently work full-time, with typical shifts falling between Monday–Saturday (8:30am–5:30pm) and Sunday (10am–4pm). However, I’m always happy to discuss your pet’s individual needs and come to an arrangement that works best for them. Whether your pet is comfortable with shorter periods alone or requires more companionship, walks, medication, or check-ins throughout the day, I’ll always be transparent about my availability and ensure they receive the care, attention, and routine they need to feel happy and secure. My home provides a safe, clean, calm, and loving environment for your pet while they’re in my care. I live in a house with a fully enclosed and secure garden, giving dogs a safe outdoor space to enjoy. About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs for a while, when family members have been away for long periods, walked dogs, looked after them. Also have a reactive dog myself so am good with dogs who need more space. I only work part time 3 days a week, so am available during the week and weekends to cover all care needs of cats/dogs. I am very flexible. I would follow any routine you currently have with your pets, crate them, let them sleep wherever, feed them at the required times, walk them when needed.

About: I have just graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon from the University of Bristol and will be starting my first job as a small animal vet (dogs and cats) in August. I have a Cocker spaniel, Milo, who is 6 years old. For 4 years prior to getting Milo, I walked my neighbour’s Golden retriever daily and our friend’s rescue dog comes for weekends sometimes. As a vet, I am trained in injecting and giving medication to dogs, if this is required, as well as first aid and triage. I qualified as a vet from the University of Bristol in July and have just started my first job as a Veterinary Surgeon. I can do drop-in sessions, house sitting or walk dogs anytime from 8am-8pm on weekends or 8am-8pm on Wednesdays. I have a car and a pet seat belt so can transport your dog(s) to their favourite walking spots if transport is required. I will adhere to whatever routine your pet is used to when dog sitting: including walks, meal times, house rules, etc. I have a large fenced garden on a 1/3 acre plot. My cocker spaniel is very friendly and gets on well with other dogs. I can accommodate dogs in a crate or bed, depending on their specific needs. If any medication is required, I can give them that.
