“zulu loves spending time with you and your family. She has loved this whole weekend and is now completely knackered bless her. Great communication and photos sent during the time zulu spent.”

“This was the first time I’ve ever used Rover and naturally hesitant about leaving my little pooch with someone he didn’t know. Lucy was brilliant, she arranged a visit before the proposed booking and hugely put me at ease. Throughout his stay, Lucy provided me updates regularly including videos and photos. Service has been impeccable and incredibly grateful to her. Thank you Lucy!! X”

“Mabel absolutely loved her Christmas and new year stay with Amber. She was well looked after and happy. We had regular photos and updates. This is the second stay over for Mabel, we will definitely be doing a return booking for later this year. Thank-you Amber 😁.”

“Hannah & Jordan took such wonderful care of Woody, he has had a brilliant time with multiple walks per day in different locations, swims, brushes and cozy sofa time and cuddles. We felt really bad that we couldn't bring Woody away with us and were nervous leaving him but Hannah & Jordan sent us lots of photos and messages each day. They were also flexible when we were delayed by an hour. It feels as though Woody has had a holiday and has been so well cared for! We would definitely recommend Hannah & Jordan.”

“Our 3yr old Rottweiler Yogi went to stay with Annie and her husband for 4 nights over the weekend. Annie was super helpful and accommodated Yogi with long walks, his particular feeding requirements and even his large crate so that he could sleep in his own bed. We received lots of pics and updates over the weekend, so we could see he was enjoying his own adventure holiday while we were away. So great to have peace of mind knowing that Annie was not phased about looking after a large and sometimes anxious dog. Yogi clearly loved staying there and was quickly made to feel at home. Highly recommend!!”

“This is the 3rd time Sophie has looked after our fur baby and I could honestly never go elsewhere now. The love she gives our girl when she’s in her care is impeccable, she really does love her like her own. I really cannot recommend Sophie enough for everything she does and the care she provides”

“This was our dog’s first overnight stay so we were obviously nervous, but she settled well for Alison. We had some lovely photos & messages sent to reassure us throughout the day & evening. Alison was amazing with her, we will definitely be booking again and would highly recommend Alison. Thank you.”

“Maisie and Darcie settled right in with Joanne and her family. We were kept updated with photos. Thank you Joanne we could go away without worrying and knew that the girls were in safe hands.”

“I honestly cannot recommend Millie and Sam enough!! Morris stayed with them for the weekend and I felt completely at ease the whole time. They kept in touch throughout with updates and lovely photos which made me feel so reassured that he was happy and being well looked after. I could tell that they genuinely cared about Morris and he had the best time. Sam even came and picked him up and dropped him back which made everything so easy and stress free for me. They made me feel so comfortable leaving him and I trusted them straight away. Morris came home relaxed and clearly very well cared for. I would 100% recommend them to anyone and will definitely be using them again and again. Thank you both so so much!! ❤️🐾”

“Abby was so lovely and amazing with Norman! We felt really at ease leaving him with her, and got some great photos of him having the best time. Would definitely recommend, thanks so much Abby!”

About: I currently own a 14 year old male Chihuahua named Milo. Myself and my boyfriend live in a home near central park but also have a lovely secure garden. In November 2025, alongside working full time I have been providing dog/house sitting for a 13 year old Pekingese, 2 guinea pigs and chicken where I offer a high level of care, administer oral medicine and take care of eye treatment and I understand the importance of patience, routine, and attentive care — especially with senior dogs. I have really taken to enjoying looking after someone else's pets so I registered as self employed and have decided to pick up some Rover clients too! I have experience with owning my own dog, a rabbit when I was around 11, plus my grandparents had sheep, cows, chickens, ducks, and all manner of farm animals which I was happily involved in from a young age! My work schedule varies as I currently work full-time, with typical shifts falling between Monday–Saturday (8:30am–5:30pm) and Sunday (10am–4pm). However, I’m always happy to discuss your pet’s individual needs and come to an arrangement that works best for them. Whether your pet is comfortable with shorter periods alone or requires more companionship, walks, medication, or check-ins throughout the day, I’ll always be transparent about my availability and ensure they receive the care, attention, and routine they need to feel happy and secure. My home provides a safe, clean, calm, and loving environment for your pet while they’re in my care. I live in a house with a fully enclosed and secure garden, giving dogs a safe outdoor space to enjoy. I will be the sole caregiver for your pet, allowing me to provide consistent attention, supervision, and routine throughout their stay. I’m experienced and comfortable caring for dogs with additional needs, including administering medication and following specific dietary requirements or schedules. Having a senior dog myself, I understand how important patience, gentle handling, and maintaining familiar routines can be. My Chihuahua, Milo, is very friendly and still enjoys his daily walks — whether that’s a shorter 20-minute stroll around the block or longer 50–60 minute walks around the Central Park loop, depending on your dog’s energy levels and needs. Your dog’s comfort and safety will always come first, which is why I strongly recommend a meet & greet before any initial booking. This helps ensure everyone gets along well and gives you complete confidence that your pet will feel happy, secure, and relaxed during their stay.

“Emma was amazing. Leo was taken care of so well. He is a very shy cat but warmed up to her quite quickly. She was also very helpful with last minute changes to timings and days. Emma also updated us on every visit with photos and updates on how he was, which was great as we were able to know how he was. Thank you Emma for being so flexible, understanding and being so amazing with Leo.”

“Millie was so good and kept us fully informed and sent us Lovely Photos too. What a really Nice Girl and Billy appeared to enjoy the attention he got from her. If he could talk he’d say she was Purrfect Lol at looking after him. Definitely recommend Millie and we will ask her again if we need someone for Billy Thank you Millie”

“Rebecca did a super job looking after our cat Ziggy. She was easy to contact and always responded quickly. She attended at the times requested and send loads of lovely photos. Ziggy can be a bit nervous but he clearly enjoyed her visits making friends with Rebecca. I would highly recommend her and will definitely use her again she was excellent 👍.”

“Karolina is fantastic 👏 did a fabulous job of looking after my 3 cats!! Especially since I had so many things for her to do she was so considerate and nothing was too much trouble! Fit me in last minute too! Kept me in the loop and came home to happy cats 🐈 highly recommend her and will be using her for any future sitting!! Thanks so much 🙏”

“Joe was great, very professional and takes a lot of pride in providing the best care for animals. Joe was respectful of our home and gave our cats lots of fuss and attention. I would recommend Joe and would use him again.”

“I hired Réka to look after my two cats while i was away for my wedding. Réka is such a lovely girl and I felt instantly at ease meeting her in person. I could tell she was trustworthy right away and would be a calming presence for my cats. She gave us thorough updates of the cats during every drop in along with photos, so I knew they were both alright. When I got back home, my cats did not show any signs of stress and seemed very relaxed. This is a big thing as my older cat Kiki is very shy and becomes stressed easily with new people. It was nice to know that she had been comfortable while Réka took care of them and I would definitely ask Réka to help us out in future! Thanks again!”

“Danielle was very calm despite my dog barking and guarding me. I wasn’t calm! My dog settled down quickly once I had left. I was confident to leave him with her and will book again”

“Lauren was great! Looking after our cats wasn't straightforward. “Anindita took wonderful care of our Indie whilst we took our son to the aquarium. We’d not ever left Indie with anyone else before, except family, so we were feeling slightly apprehensive about it. But as soon as we arrived Anindita made a big fuss of Indie and reassured us she’d be fine, and she was! We wouldn’t hesitate to book her again if we were back in Plymouth.”

“Tegan has been a wonderful help for Herbert over the past few months. Always very cheerful and gets on brilliantly with our little man. Such a joy to know he's in safe hands. Looking forward to future bookings.”

“Having never used Rover before, I was a bit nervous, but Daryl quickly put me at ease. He’s been fantastic at reassuring me and sends detailed updates after each of Flossy’s visits. It’s clear from the way he cares for his own dog, Cooper, that Floss is in very safe and loving hands. She’s looking forward to building a new friendship with both Cooper and Daryl.”

About: We have had Milo for 8 years and regularly look after my best friends bedlington whippet. We will treat your dog like our own with lots of love. Joel works from home full time so is very flexible. I've just graduated from vet school, but don't start working until mid September, so I am around all day during the summer. We are very relaxed and will allow the dogs to be on the sofa and bed. We have a fenced garden and can let the dogs out as often as you would like us to. We would never leave your dog alone. Milo has lots of food allergies so we are very sensible and don’t leave food lying around etc.
“David and Kayleigh did a brilliant job looking after Tala. We'd met for a short walk beforehand and Tala took to them both immediately. When I dropped her off, she happily trotted into their house. Communication was brilliant and Tala looked happy and settled when I picked her up. She had been spoilt with cuddles and attention and I'm sure she'll be delighted to go back for her next stay :-) Thank you both very much!!”

About: Available over Christmas Growing up, my family had a large German Shepherd named Chico who I absolutely adored and would spend large amounts of time playing with. This is where my love for big dogs began. After moving from my parents, I was unable to get my own dog due to not finding suitable accommodation. However, I managed to get many hours of caring for my nieces boarder collie in. Reggie, the collie in question, was my first experience with a reactive dog. After months of doing my own research and training Reggie (and my niece) we saw some real progress in his behaviour. Fast forward a year and I was training my own, very large, very reactive Catahoula/Labrador. Training such a large, powerful dog and working alongside an incredibly skilled dog trainer taught me so much and helped me build my confidence with dogs that needed a little more patience and work. Because of these experiences, I am more than happy to work alongside pets that others may not be. I would be offering more than just a walking/sitting service and am happy to use my knowledge to help owners train their pets if desired. Please send me a message for my availability as I work shifts but am happy to move things about when I can. I will always want to meet a dog before sitting/walking then to ensure we are the right fit for one another! My care for your pet will always vary greatly depending on their own needs and personality. I will always ask to meet the pet and owner first to discuss any care requirements they have and to make sure we are a good for for one another
“We're so grateful for all the extra care Abi put in for our dog Norman... she managed to tire him out which is rare! We felt totally at ease leaving our dog with her, we'd definitely recommend her and will be use her again soon. Thanks Abi!”

“I’m really grateful to Becki for looking after Gracie at such short notice. Gracie had a wonderful time and looked extremely happy in the photos I was sent. I would have no trouble recommending Beckie’s services and look forward to Gracie visiting soon.”

About: A true animal lover, I have had many myself since I was a child growing up on a farm in the mountains of Andorra: horse, cats, rabbits, dogs, pigs, cows, sheep...I was lucky enough to be able to take my dogs with me to study at Plymouth University- marine biology and oceanography. Therefore, your furry best friend will also have the chance to make new pawsome mates to spend time with and above all, never get bored. My two dogs are called Salsa (jack russell cross) and Billie Eilish (working cocker spaniel), both part time working dogs for pack Boar hunt, mountain goat finds and rabbit hunt. More about myself- I did several weeks of volunteering in a veterinary clinic which gave me the energy needed, skills and patience with sick or old animals. Gentle, jovial and energetic in nature, I would be delighted to enjoy the outdoors with your furry friend during various walks a day, to clean it, feed it and of course to give as much love and cuddles as necessary. Serious and dynamic, I listen to your needs and those of your animal so that he feels as good as possible in your absence and during his stay with me and my partner which lives home aswell. I live near the Hoe and I can travel around Plymouth or its surrounding areas having my car here I offer pick up and drop off services! I am a student at the University of Plymouth and study marine biology and oceanography which means a lot of time at the beach with the pups to fill in this notebooks! I propose long stay and short stay as i don’t go out and live with my fiancé who is also a doggo lover! As previously said, I live by the Hoe which means it is a quick walk to a nice open space for dogs to exercise which is like a garden to me as walks are around 3-4 times a day for my two gorgeous girls. I also do have a little garden on the back of the flat which is secure but small that i therefore don’t use. During bad weather I use sniffin’ games, play hide and seek and get my pups to learn new tricks which could do with yours aswell :) Usually on a basis nice day and weekend we go 3h to the moors or Plymbridge to play and evening rest and walkies around the park. Sundays we go to central park and have an amazing time chasing squirrels or playing fetch ! We also go biking or rest depending on the energy of the dog!
“Thanks so much for entertaining Charlie the tennis-ball crazed Collie Alex. Sorry he drooled over your water bottle! He said thanks for sharing a cooked breakfast! I’m glad that you enjoyed his company. Thanks for trying to tire him … it’s not easy!”

When sitting in your home, I am conscientious of your space and keep it clean and tidy, making sure that the house is just as you left it. About: We always had at least one dog when I was growing up, most of the time a cat too. My most complicated house sitting experience, was one cat with medical conditions, a tropical fish tank, a goldfish pond, a house and garden full of plants to tend, and local wildlife (birds, squirrels, and badgers) to feed. It went off without a hitch and I was fully capable of that. I'm happy to take on complicated or simple jobs. Looking after pets is my primary job, so I'm free any day of the week at the moment for visits, walks or house sitting. Either regular or one offs. To start with I'd want to talk to the pet's owners to determine what the pet's everyday routine is, favourite toys, favourite walk spots etc. I believe it's important to keep life as normal as possible for your pet until your pet gets used to me, but with some added fun of course.

I’m confident handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments and always adapt to each dog’s individual needs. I’m flexible with timing and always do my best to accommodate your schedule where possible. In my home, pets are supervised, kept in a calm environment, and given plenty of attention and care. I work fully remote and am available most weekends. Working from home means I am very flexible and can be with your pet all of the time. We have an enclosed garden. Your dog won’t be short of company and attention. Dogs allowed on furniture in our home for snuggles my main priority is that they are comfortable and happy.

About: I have 25+ years of experience looking after family cats, dogs and exotic animals. Currently studying Ecology and Conservation at University of Plymouth, looking for work with animals along side my studies. As a University student I have a lot of spare time when I am not studying and although I engage in a lot of volunteer work, I still have ample time for pet sitting. I like to engage in fun activities like fetch, basic training, walking, and running to ensure your pet stays active and happy. I am an engaging companion and strive to provide an enjoyable experience for them.
About: I've been around dogs my whole life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for them. I currently have a 12-year-old working Cocker Spaniel who I've had since he was a puppy, so I've experienced every stage of a dog's life, from puppyhood through to senior care. I understand the importance of providing dogs with plenty of attention, exercise, companionship, and a safe environment where they feel comfortable and happy. Through caring for my own dog, I've gained experience with daily walks, feeding routines, administering basic care, and supporting an older dog with age-related needs. What sets me apart is my genuine love for dogs, my patience, and my understanding that every dog has their own personality and routine. I treat every dog as if they were my own, ensuring they receive lots of care, affection, and attention while in my care. 🐾❤️ Pet care is already a big part of my daily life. I work Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm, which means I am available every evening for walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I also have weekends completely free, allowing me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pets in my care. During school holidays and half terms, I have full availability, giving me even more flexibility for pet sitting and dog walking. As a dog owner myself, caring for animals is something I do every day, and I understand the importance of maintaining routines, providing exercise, and ensuring pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I have a 12-year-old working Cocker Spaniel who I've cared for since he was a puppy, so looking after dogs is a natural part of my everyday routine. 🐾❤️ I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I follow each owner's instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medication requirements, and any specific needs their pet may have. In a pet owner's home, I aim to keep pets in their usual routine as much as possible to help them feel relaxed and settled. I'll provide plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, fresh water, and regular toilet breaks, as well as lots of affection and companionship. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your pet is being cared for properly, so I'm happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. Having cared for my own Cocker Spaniel from puppyhood into his senior years, I'm comfortable looking after dogs of different ages, personalities, and activity levels. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritise their happiness, safety, and wellbeing.

About: Aside from looking after my own shi tszu for 9 years, I frequently look after my partners pugs who are the best company. Professionally I have looked after several dogs and cats and loved every single one of them. I am experienced with laid back dogs, happy dogs, grumpy dogs, anxious dogs and cuddly dogs. I am polite and trust worthy, communicative and friendly. I can send regular pupdates and photos whilst you're away for your peace of mind. When sitting in your home, I am conscientious of your space and keep it clean and tidy, making sure that the house is just as you left it.

“Bridget took absolutely fabulous care of our two little dogs while we were away. They looked so happy and settled in her home and had a great time playing with her dog, Elmo. One of my dogs is a very old lady and I felt particularly comfortable that she was in a safe place with someone who would take fantastic care to keep her happy. I would definitely use Bridget again next time I travel! Thank you for treating my dogs like your own :)”

About: A doting dog owner from the age of 10 years old when my parents promised me a dog if I stopped wetting the bed...I know, I know. Fortunately, I am now toilet trained!! I have welcomed all family dogs into our home and have always been first in the cue to walk and pup sit for neighbours, friends and family pooches. We are huge dog lovers, with an affinity for the great outdoors whether trekking across on the moors, discovering oir local woodlands or sauntering along a sandy beach making foot (& paw) prints. We are lucky enough to have two beautiful parks at either end of our road and always happy to drive to other exciting walking spots. We have a dedicated doggy bedroom under our stairs that was made for our own dog and even love a puppy snuggle on our sofa. Every dog we care for will be loved like it was our own. My two boys adore dogs and are very respectful and caring towards all animals. I am currently available to pop in for a pup play dates on Tuesdays and Fridays and two weekends a month. I am available for dog walks any day of the week and for longer more adventurous walks on Tuesdays, Fridays and two weekends a month. I am available for day care and boarding on any day of the week. I have a completely enclosed courtyard garden to ensure safety for your pooch. If your doggy prefers peace and quiet with no children around Tuesday and Fridays our house is child free and just myself to spend quality time with your fur baby.
