Lucy and her family took really good care of Carmen for the 10 days that I was abroad. Lucy answered always very quickly, sent pictures and feedback regularly and gave Carmen lots of love. I would definitely use her services again and recommend her to anyone who needs a caring dog sitter.

for zulu first time staying overnight and hearing that she bonded with all the family is amazing. Zulu truly loves coming to yours and spending time with all the family especially the spending time with the kids and making you all smile alot. She truly is spoilt when she there which is so lovely to see especially when i come and pick her up as this is what she gets a home. Thank you so much for the service and the update with photos and videos of zulu first time trying the car and the beach. You guys are truly outstanding and love the fact that you guys get to enjoy spending time with Zulu and enjoy her just like i do ❤️

Hannah & Jordan took such wonderful care of Woody, he has had a brilliant time with multiple walks per day in different locations, swims, brushes and cozy sofa time and cuddles. We felt really bad that we couldn't bring Woody away with us and were nervous leaving him but Hannah & Jordan sent us lots of photos and messages each day. They were also flexible when we were delayed by an hour. It feels as though Woody has had a holiday and has been so well cared for! We would definitely recommend Hannah & Jordan.

Morgan helped us out last minute with our 8 month old puppy. He has had the best time! She sent some lovely photos, gave him a proper little holiday, popped on some relaxing sounds to settle him at night. Woody was really well taken care of and has come back knackered and happy all of which has made leaving him for the first time so much more stress free! Lovely home and partner, great environment for a puppy, great communication and really accommodating - couldn’t ask for more. Thoroughly recommend!!

This is a really easy review to write, and throughly deserved. It’s never easy leaving part of your family with someone you don’t know, but my mind was put at ease immediately when I dropped him off. Hector, our Australian Labrador had a great time and I’m sure didn’t want to come home. Comms were fantastic throughout, we received regular messages accompanied each time with photos of him, out for a runs visiting parks and many other areas it seemed. He also made himself at home on the sofa and bed but Nicola always checked first what was allowed. If we’re back in the area Hector will most certainly be staying again, and we can’t recommend highly enough.

About: I am a professional lady who works for the NHS and am a huge dog lover of all types and sizes. I have looked after dogs for over 20 years now. They have full run of the house and are welcome on all furniture. My flexible working hours allow me to mostly work at home - ensuring dogs get the attention, love and lots of walks. My work is very flexible and I mostly work from home. Pets come first in this household-making sure they are cared for, loved and most importantly have lots of lovely dog walks. Our firm favourite is Plymbridge Woods. I have a safe and secure small garden, a dog flap if needed. They have the full run of my house and I only ever have one dog boarding to ensure your pooch gets the love and attention they need.

Having already met Liza and Mike for a walk and visited their house, Liza had Henry for the first time last weekend and he clearly had a great time! He went on some lovely walks and was very well looked after. Liza kept us supplied with photos which was very reassuring. All Henry's 'stuff' was packed and ready for collection and he was completely at home with Liza and her family. We have already booked Liza again and plan to use Liza as our main dog carer for future holidays.

They kept in touch throughout with updates and lovely photos which made me feel so reassured that he was happy and being well looked after. I could tell that they genuinely cared about Morris and he had the best time. Sam even came and picked him up and dropped him back which made everything so easy and stress free for me. They made me feel so comfortable leaving him and I trusted them straight away. Morris came home relaxed and clearly very well cared for. I would 100% recommend them to anyone and will definitely be using them again and again. Thank you both so so much!! ❤️🐾

Although I own a dog and cat, I have been around and cared for a variety of animals throughout my life and am confident providing attentive, loving care. I am also a Musical Director and Project Manager, I work from home most of the time but do often work some evenings. Please ensure your dog is happy home alone for up to a full working day, and has a flexible schedule, if you’d like me to housesit for you. 24/7 sits available, depending on availability, at £15ph. Light cleaning included (bedsheets changed, surface wiped, vacuum cleaned) Extra cleaning is £30ph. I work from home most of the week, as I work as a Project Manager and Musical Director, so I'm only out for around 10 hours a week! About: I've grown up around dogs, so having muddy paws around the house feels pretty normal to me. My grandad was a well respected vet, which meant I was lucky enough to meet dogs of all breeds, ages and personalities, including plenty of rescue dogs! I have just moved out of my parents house which has meant I no longer have my two beloved border terriers to keep me on my toes! I work from home full time so your dog won’t be left counting down the hours until you’re back. They’ll have plenty of company, lunch time walks and lots of cuddles of course! I work from home full time, so I’m lucky to have plenty of time during the day to look after your furry friend and keep them company! My partner also has a flexible job, which means we would happily adapt to their routine and make sure they are well looked after. I’m active and love spending time outdoors, so getting out for walks is something I really enjoy! Whether they’re up for a longer walk or just a good explore of the local area, I’d love to have them join me and become part of my day. We have a fenced garden with lots of room for your dog to run around and enjoy some outdoor time! There are plenty of walking spaces nearby, including a forest 5 minutes walk away, so there are lots of options for longer walks and shorter strolls. We’re not a strict household, if your dog is allowed on the sofa at home, they’ll be more than welcome to relax on ours too! We’ll always try to keep them to their usual routine and make sure they feel comfortable while they’re with us.

Easy and clear communication from first contact, highly flexible with drop off and pick up times and gave Layla plenty of love, attention and exercise. She came back a happy and tired dog each day! Highly recommend and will certainly be our go to sitter from now on! 😁

A regular here. My boys are so comfortable around Alison now that Kai, my 'aloof Shiba Inu with attitude', let Alison rub his tummy for the first time today, and they weren't in a hurry to come home with me! 😆 Thank you, Alison. Till next time! X

About: Happy, caring and energetic dog walker looking for new 4 footed friends to walk. I have ample experience walking many different dogs. I love a good long walk, don't know who enjoys its more, me or the dogs! i'm also very happy to host a dog or 2 in my house. I will happily do pop in visits for dogs that are at home all day. I have been caring for animals for many years, I grew up surrounded by animals, mainly dogs. for much of my teenage life i worked in a stables where i would help care for the 13 (yes 13!) stable dogs that ruled the roost. I have also volunteered at a few animal shelters where I would help acclimatise strays by being their primary carer. I currently have a small female dog and a large male (neutered) tabby cat. Both are friendly and welcoming to guests. I have an enclosed garden for pets to Enjoy and I’m a 2 min walk from Tothill park, a wonderful place for dog socialising and exercise. In April 2026 I welcomed my son into the world so our guests need to be ok with children. Look forward to meeting you all soon!

Bridget was fabulous throughout! We were visiting Plymouth for a family funeral so didn’t really know what to expect. We had several communications before our dogs stayed, which put our minds at rest. Bridget was quick to respond to messages and keen to help. She also gave us regular updates and videos through the day. We couldn’t have asked for better care. I would thoroughly recommend Bridget and will definitely book again when we’re down in Plymouth. Thank you from Izzy and Jet too 🦮🐕‍🦺🐾

About: I have always been surrounded by pets and have grown up caring for animals alongside my family. As my parents and grandparents have gotten older, I have become a reliable and trusted dog walker and cat sitter for several years. My parents much-loved Border Collie, needs plenty of playful attention, exercise, affection and companionship. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved and cared for when their families are away. I would love the opportunity to give your pets that same care, attention and love while helping you feel confident that they are in safe hands. Myself and my partner have different work schedules to fit around pet care. When I am working, my partner is currently on maternity leave so is able to care for your pets. We have a fenced garden and lots of local walks near the house. We have enough space for a crate should your dog prefer this and plenty of space to play and roam.

About: I’ve had pets since I was born. I was raised with 5 dogs at home, from puppies to elderly I enjoyed training, feeding and playing with them. As a teenager I’d help my friends by going to their houses to take care of their dogs and cats and take them for walks. I’m a volunteer in a woodland forest rescuing animals and creating new habitats for them, which improves my understanding of their behaviours and needs. I don’t do boarding for pets from different households at the same time so they can feel more comfortable while away from home. If your pet has any allergies, special needs, medications or a specific routine please let me know during the booking. I’m currently back home during summer break from university so if there isn’t any plans I’m free the whole week 24/7. I got a flexible schedule to be able to adjust for shifts needed I’ve got a house with a closed and fenced garden with play and have a good time. I don’t have any pets at home but I’m free the whole time to stay with your pet.

About: I’ve been a dedicated dog owner for the past 3 years, giving me daily, hands-on experience with feeding routines, structured walks, playtime, basic training, and understanding canine behaviour. Caring for my own dog has taught me responsibility, patience, and how important consistency is for a happy, well-balanced pup. I’m confident handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments and always adapt to each dog’s individual needs. Whether your dog is energetic and loves long walks or prefers a calmer pace and extra cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m available most weekends, including late Friday afternoons and evenings, making me a great option for weekend trips, evenings out, or last-minute plans. I’m flexible with timing and always do my best to accommodate your schedule where possible. In my home, pets are supervised, kept in a calm environment, and given plenty of attention and care. While I don’t have a garden, I live very close to Central Park, which provides plenty of safe, open space for regular walks, exercise, and enrichment. I make sure all dogs are kept on-lead unless otherwise agreed. I carefully follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding times, exercise needs, and any specific instructions you provide.

About: We always had at least one dog when I was growing up, most of the time a cat too. My most complicated house sitting experience, was one cat with medical conditions, a tropical fish tank, a goldfish pond, a house and garden full of plants to tend, and local wildlife (birds, squirrels, and badgers) to feed. It went off without a hitch and I was fully capable of that. I'm happy to take on complicated or simple jobs. Looking after pets is my primary job, so I'm free any day of the week at the moment for visits, walks or house sitting. Either regular or one offs. To start with I'd want to talk to the pet's owners to determine what the pet's everyday routine is, favourite toys, favourite walk spots etc. I believe it's important to keep life as normal as possible for your pet until your pet gets used to me, but with some added fun of course.

I have recently moved to UK from mallorca - an island off of spain - and i am currently in my gap year. I am not working at the moment so pet care fits anywhere in my daily routine. About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up with dogs and having dogs of my own has given me a real understanding of their different personalities, needs and the joy they bring to our lives. I also have two cats, so I understand that every pet deserves patience, kindness and individual care. Over the years, I've looked after the dogs of friends and family, whether that's taking them for walks, caring for them while their owners are away or simply giving them the attention and companionship they need. Those experiences inspired me to turn something I genuinely love into a business, and that's how Sniffari Adventures Plymouth was born. I offer enriching group and solo walks, as well as home visits for dogs who may need a comfort break, feeding, playtime, cuddles or simply some company while you're away. Whether your dog loves exploring the outdoors or prefers a quieter visit at home, I'll always tailor my care to their individual needs and routine. My aim is to provide more than just a walk. I believe every dog deserves the chance to explore, sniff, play and enjoy enriching adventures that leave them happy, fulfilled and content. Every dog in my care is treated with the same love, patience and respect that I'd give my own pets. For your peace of mind, I am: 🐾 Fully insured 🐾 DBS checked 🐾 Canine First Aid trained 🐾 Qualified with a Canine Behaviour Diploma Your dog's safety, happiness and wellbeing will always be my top priority, and I'll care for them as if they were one of my own. I can't wait to meet you and your four-legged best friend! Pet care is my full-time career, so my schedule is dedicated to providing reliable, consistent care for every pet I look after. My days are planned around walks, home visits and spending quality time with the dogs in my care, allowing me to give each one the attention and care they deserve. As this is my full-time business, I'm able to offer flexibility where possible and build lasting relationships with both pets and their owners. Whether your dog needs regular weekly walks, occasional home visits or extra care while you're busy, you can have peace of mind knowing they'll be cared for by someone who is passionate about their wellbeing every single day. Your pet's safety, happiness and wellbeing are my highest priorities. Whether I'm caring for them in your home or taking them out on a walk, I'll always treat them with the same love, patience and respect that I give my own pets. Before any walks begin, I'll take the time to get to know your dog's routine, personality and any specific needs they may have. I follow your instructions carefully, whether that's preferred walking routes, feeding routines, medication, or any training you're working on at home. On walks, I use positive reinforcement and allow plenty of opportunities for sniffing, exploring and enrichment, while always keeping safety at the forefront. I'll only let dogs off lead with your permission and in suitable, safe environments. Group walks are carefully matched by size, temperament and energy levels to ensure every dog has a fun and positive experience. During home visits, I'll make sure your pet has fresh water, toilet breaks, enrichment, playtime and, of course, plenty of fuss if they enjoy it! I'll also keep your home secure by locking doors and gates, and I'll happily provide photo updates so you can see how your pet is getting on. For added peace of mind, I am fully insured, DBS checked, Canine First Aid trained and hold a Canine Behaviour Diploma, so you can feel confident that your pet is in safe, caring and capable hands.

About: I grew up surrounded by animals, from cats and dogs to rodents, birds, fish, and even horses, sharing my life with animals has shaped who I am. I got my own dog, Kimba, when I was 12 and trained with him for many years at our local dog training school. The bond we built was incredibly special. Once I got Kimba, more dogs made it into the family and suddenly I was regularly walking three dogs. When I later moved away, I made sure Kimba could come with me so we could continue our life together. We spent countless wonderful days exploring Dartmoor and many beaches! Seeing him live his best life meant everything to me. These days, I share my home with my cat Skully, who found his way into my life through the “cat distribution system” 😄 just when I thought I was taking a little break from pet ownership. He turned out to be the most wonderfully unique companion and makes me smile and laugh every single day. While Skully does enjoy the occasional stroll around the block with me, I do miss regular dog walks and spending time with dogs in general. Over the years, I’ve pet-sat for family and friends and have always genuinely enjoyed it. As a freelancer, I now have a flexible schedule, which allows me to offer dog walking and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. I am a freelancer and I can move my schedule around to accommodate your pets needs. I have a car to enable flexibility or to use in case of an emergency. Your pet’s safety and the security of your home are very important to me. Before the first visit, I ask owners to share as much information as possible about their pet’s routine, behaviour, and any house rules so I can provide the best care. For example, it’s helpful to know if your pet has a tendency to try to slip out of doors, if there are rooms they’re not allowed in, or if there are specific areas of the home I should check during visits. I will always follow your instructions carefully and make sure doors, gates, and windows are secured before leaving. During each visit I make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and has everything they need. The same applies to my dog walking services. If there is anything worth noting in order for me to keep your dog as safe and comfortable as possible during our walks please let me know .

Lucy and her family took really good care of Carmen for the 10 days that I was abroad. Lucy answered always very quickly, sent pictures and feedback regularly and gave Carmen lots of love. I would definitely use her services again and recommend her to anyone who needs a caring dog sitter.

Anindita was great with my mini labradoodle. She took my dogs seperation anxiety seriously and gave me regular updates and photos throughout the day which I loved. She was quick to communicate with and flexible with my work shifts. Murphy left happy and I would use her again if we are in the area!

Alison was a great host for our two spaniels, caring for them as if they were her own. She kept us updated with mesages and pictures of their stay. We felt relaxed knowing that Alison had their best interests in mind at all times. We would have no hesitation in recommending Alison or using her again.

This is the 3rd time Sophie has looked after our fur baby and I could honestly never go elsewhere now. The love she gives our girl when she’s in her care is impeccable, she really does love her like her own. I really cannot recommend Sophie enough for everything she does and the care she provides

I was worried about Winston going away as he rarely goes anywhere. Mark and Fee allowed us to visit first and made me feel far more relaxed and reassured. Winston was more than happy to stay with them and calm and happy when we picked him up. They updated me to let me know he was ok. Highly recommended, thanks Mark

I'm an OTT dog mum and Tracey made me feel totally at ease sending pictures and videos of how Bella was doing so I was able to enjoy time away without a worry, I would very highly recommend her and their lovely family which includes a very friendly older dog and a cat which Bella was desperate to make friends with (sorry lol) overall I would give six stars if I could, thank you!!

I honestly cannot recommend Millie and Sam enough!! Morris stayed with them for the weekend and I felt completely at ease the whole time. ❤️🐾

Sarah was wonderful with our working Maisie. We had regular updates on where they on walks through out our time away. Maisie was well cared for whilst we were away and hope Sarah will look after Maisie agin. Most importantly Sarah turned up when she said she would and was happy for Maisie to sleep on the bed!

I am grateful to fate that when looking for the right care for my sensitive Lucy I came across Bridget in Rover. With a heavy heart I parted ways with Lucy for a week, full of uncertainty about how her days would go, but Bridget turned out to be not only a wonderful, warm woman full of love for animals and with extraordinary experience, but an extraordinary dog carer. Every day I received photos, videos and information about my Lucy. Thanks to Bridget, my Lucy was not only safe, but above all she ended up in the care of an extraordinary person with passion. I recommend Bridget and I will praise her to anyone who is looking for a dedicated, full of love for animals carer for their quadruped. I will certainly return to Bridget when the need arises. Thank you Bridget on my behalf and for Lucy :).
