About: You can be sure of safe and loving care for your pet in my hands, I'm trained in Canine First Aid, DBS checked, and currently close to completing my Dog Walking and Sitting certification with the British College of Canine Studies. I grew up with Jack Russells, so always have a soft spot for them, but any dog will melt my heart. Currently grand-dog-mother to my daughter's elegant Italian greyhound and my son's tiny Chihuahua. I have lots of patience and kindness to lavish on your pets and look forward to spending time with them, keeping you updated to put your mind at rest. I'm currently working part time (Monday afternoons) so available all other times, and for all over night or longer periods of care in your home. I will look after your dog or cat in their own home, where they feel safe and comfortable. I am DBS checked and you can be sure I will treat your home with the same care and respect that I will give you your pet.
“Shannon is very attentive to both my dogs and they have enjoyed her company, especially as one of them hasn't been well. I appreciated her checking up on them for me whilst I was at work 😊”

About: I've had a Weimaraner since I was seven years old and now also have two small pups, a Sheba/Husky mix and a Havapoo. I am a lifelong dog lover with over five years of trust pet-sitting experience. I'm comfortable with all dog sizes and cared for them with love, patience and lots of playtime. I can care for your pups, weekdays, evenings or weekends. As a dog lover, this is my ideal job and with a very flexible schedule can work with you to best meet your needs. I have my own transportation and can readily come to your house to walk or care for your pets. If needed, I'm available to care for your pups in your home as well.
About: I’ve grown up around both cats and dogs and have over 13 years of hands-on experience caring for my family’s golden retriever, whom I’ve looked after from puppyhood through to her senior years. This has included supporting her through surgery, managing recovery, and providing attentive care as she’s aged and become more fragile. I’m currently in a pet free home/house whiles I study in Plymouth. I look after pets at both locations (my family home in Warwickshire and here in Plymouth) depending on the time of year. I’m experienced with all aspects of dog care, including daily walks, bathing, feeding, administering medication, and giving plenty of attention and affection. I’ve also cared for dogs both privately and professionally, looking after pets for family friends as well as clients I hadn’t previously met, always ensuring their routines, needs, and comfort are maintained while their owners are away. I’m confident working with dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes — from energetic puppies to senior dogs who may require extra patience and support. I adapt easily to each dog’s individual personality and routine, and I’m comfortable managing specific needs or special instructions to ensure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently working bank staff, which means I’m very flexible. I have a lot of spare time and I’m free any time of day or night, even on short notice. If you prefer to pick your dog up early in the morning or late at night, that’s completely okay. I live in a house shared with close friends while attending university, creating a calm, friendly, and stable environment for pets. We have a fully fenced garden that’s ideal for quick and safe toilet breaks. The house is also conveniently located near a park, making it easy to provide regular walks and outdoor enrichment. I’m committed to ensuring pets feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while in my home.

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities since I was 12. Friends, family, and neighbours often rely on me to walk, feed, and look after their pets when they’re away. I’m patient, responsible, and always make sure every dog feels happy, safe, and loved. Whether it’s a long walk, playtime, or quiet company, I tailor care to each pup’s needs. As a student saving for future travels, I’m grateful to spend my time doing what I love — caring for dogs! 🐕✨ I’m a uni student in my final year, and my free time mostly consist of reading, studying, or going for walks to take a break from screens — often the perfect time to have a furry friend join me! My schedule is flexible, so I can offer plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays, especially on weekends and afternoons. I have a small secure fenced garden and live close to several lovely green spaces in Plymouth, perfect for safe and fun walks. I keep my environment calm and clean, ensuring pets feel comfortable and cared for. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, cuddles, or quiet rest, I’ll make sure they feel right at home and completely safe while you’re away.
“Very pleased with Harriet. My cat, Rascal was obviously very happy with her and Harriet took good care of him, regularly sending me photos of the two of them together. Would highly recommend Harriet and will try to engage her again next time I'm away.”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs, along with 2 dogs of my own, from puppies to senior dogs, whether it’s walking them, training them, or pet sitting overnight. I always pay attention to my own dogs as well as the dogs that I look after, always giving them my time for playing as well as cuddling.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and had my dachshund for almost 17 years. I love animals and I treat them as a member of the family! 💕 I am always available on weekends, which allows me to dedicate more time to pet care :) During the week I’m available for drop in visits or walks in early morning anytime before 8am or anytime after 17:30 I always ensure that pets are comfortable and have regular opportunities for fresh air and exercise in a safe environment. When caring for cats in their own home, I respect their personal space and adapt to their individual personality - whether they enjoy playtime and cuddles or prefer a quieter, more independent routine.

About: I have 2 years of pet care experience, including sitting and walking for small and large dogs. I am a keen animal lover, who enjoys walking and is more than happy to give your pet the exercise that it needs. I have grown up with caring for small animals such as rabbits and have grown up with an active collie dog so I know just how important exercise is for your dog. Currently I am student at Plymouth university and looking to be active outside of my studies I am available for dog walking and pet sitting I am not available for at home sitting, but available for pet sitting at owners home. It is up to pet owners to provide a safe environment for pet sitting and to provide things such as crates if they are necessary for their pet.

About: I have lots of experience with animals - dogs in particular because I have had dogs my whole life. I also took my dog to behaviour/obedience dog training and agility training. I feel I have a strong connection with animals and can handle all types of characters and personalities. I have experience handling nervous dogs and reactive dogs and elderly dogs. I have never owned cats but my family members have lots of cats so I have experience with being around them and looking after them. I am currently a fully time university student looking to build up a bit of money alongside my studies by doing something I absolutely love which is looking after animals. Since being away from home I have found a huge gap in my life because I don’t have my dogs with me - this will allow me to be able to look after animals while I am away from home which is something I love doing. My days weekly vary and times I’m available based on my lectures but if you ping me a message I am sure we can sort something out - I am a very reliable person. I will always make sure the animal has its needs met and will follow the instructions left by the owner to ensure optimal care for the pet and peace of mind for the owner. I know how important your pets are as I have 2 dogs of my own at home and used to have a rabbit and hamsters. I absolutely love and adore all animals.
About: I’ve been caring for my own pets and others’ animals for many years, so being around dogs is second nature to me. My family runs a dog boarding and walking service, which means I’ve grown up constantly surrounded by furry friends and am very comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I genuinely love spending time with animals and always make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while in my care. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I play semi-professional football for Plymouth Argyle, which means I have flexible free time during the week to walk, check in on, and care for your dog around training commitments. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed at all times. I stick closely to their usual routines, give them plenty of attention, and treat them like my own, whether I’m caring for them in my home or theirs.
“Chloe provided exceptional care for my cat, Skully, while I was away. Her updates and pictures were thoughtful touches that kept me reassured that Skully is being looked after and engaged with. Before I left we discussed Skully's care in detail and she engaged in every activity that I wished for Skully, like playing in the evening and time outside in the morning. I highly recommend her services to anyone in need of a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since a young age and currently have a reactive border collie at home who requires a lot of walking and training and also a labradoodle. I’ve worked with horses doing training riding and care. I am currently studying at Plymouth uni but I have a lot of free time. I tend to go on many walks throughout the day when I’m not studying. I will care for them the entire time whether it’s playing, cuddles, walking or toilets. Due to having a reactive dog I’m incredibly aware of signs of uncomfort or anxiety.

About: I’ve taken care of my family cat for more than ten years, and i also regularly look after my family dog who’s a sprocker spaniel. I luckily get to spend a lot of time with him, as I’m currently job hunting after finishing Uni. When he was a puppy i helped my family toilet and command train him. Even now he’s older i like to teach him new tricks! Through Rover I’ve looked after young and older dogs! I’ve housesat multiple dogs at once and also done drop ins/walks for cats & dogs. Due to looking for work i’m currently very flexible with sittings, however i am limited by not being able to drive. So, requests with places to walk within walking distance are ideal for me! I’ve just graduated from University and am looking for work, so i’ve got a lot of free time to fit in drop ins, walks or house sitting. I usually walk my families dog every day with my mum and i try to fit in the gym and seeing friends + family into my week. However, i’m very flexible with what i do daily and weekly so will accommodate around you and your pets needs!! I’m very aware of tending to and keeping an eye on animals who require a lot of attention, out and about, on walks, and in indoor settings.
Plymouth pet owners share their Rover experiences
My cat is very shy & nervous of people she tends to hide away, plus we have just moved so my cat had lots of changes in a short period of time. Shannon was very reassuring & put my mind at ease. Although my cat did her usual act of hiding away on her visits I knew she was being fed watered, had a clean litter tray & was being looked after. The updates are great you know exactly how your pet is doing. I would recommend Shannon to anyone she is very caring & friendly, my cat was in good hands!

Emma was amazing. Leo was taken care of so well. He is a very shy cat but warmed up to her quite quickly. She was also very helpful with last minute changes to timings and days. Emma also updated us on every visit with photos and updates on how he was, which was great as we were able to know how he was. Thank you Emma for being so flexible, understanding and being so amazing with Leo.

I booked Joe over Christmas and he was amazing! He did an initial meet and greet to meet my kitten first, followed all instructions, kept me updated on every visit including photos and videos, and did what was best for her with her needs in mind. Felt very at ease and couldn’t be happier with the care she received! Will definitely use Joe again if I need someone to check in on her.

This was our first time using a cat-sitting service so we were a bit nervous, especially as our cats are older now. Saffron put our mind at ease with regular updates, clear communication, and overall good care of our cats while we were away. We would definitely recommend Saffron to others and would use her services again.

Hollie was a wonderful cat sitter! It was so lovely to be updated with each check in with pictures of Freya being cuddled and played with. Had a lot of peace of mind that Freya was okay and had made a new friend. Would recommend Hollie to anyone with a furry friend. Thank you so much.
