About: Growing up my family has always had dogs and these have all been of varying breeds and sizes. When I moved out of my family home my partner and I decided to get a golden retriever, Harley, so any dogs coming to stay will need to be comfortable around him. Harley is very welcoming to any guests and is used to spending time with small, medium and large dogs so will be good company for your pet. I have a flexible job that enables me to work from home. It is a very sedentary job so I like to go on walks and be outside in my breaks and free time. We live in kingsteignton with an enclosed garden and a gate that opens up onto a park so ideal for the dogs. (Both the garden and park are in the pictures). This means we have several walks on our doorstep but we also like to drive to some. We love going on long walks with Harley and we like to keep the routes varied so we never really do the same walk two days in a row. We have no children and Harley is our only pet.

About: I’ve got about 8 years of experience taking care of both my own dogs and my family and friend’s dogs. I’ve handled everything from long and short walks to feeding, bathing, and plenty of playtime. I genuinely love to be around dogs and making sure they’re happy, comfortable and well cared for makes me happy!! I’m currently a university student studying with the Open University, which gives me a lot of flexibility with my schedule. Alongside that, I work a part-time job where my hours are also very versatile, so I’m able to balance both really well and stay flexible making plenty of time for taking care of your pups! I always tailor my care to each pet’s routine and needs. In my home or a pet owner’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise, and lots of attention and playtime. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions, including walking routines, feeding preferences, or medication. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and relaxed, and I treat them like they’re my own.

About: I have grown up looking after our own cats and dogs, and continue to regularly look after the lovely range of dog pals of my friends and family! I am studying for a PhD (in animal history!) so I work from home on a flexible basis, giving me plenty of time to spend with your pet at a variety of times across the week. I have experience with dogs and cats of a range of ages, temperaments and characters and can mould my care based on their individual personalities and needs (as well as yours!)

About: Growing up I’ve always been around dogs and cats. I’ve raised 3 puppies and been part of the dogs trust dog training. I have a 7 year old golden retriever named Koda, Koda gets a minimum of a 2 hour walk daily. I am used to having upto 5 dogs on a walk as used to dog walking for family and friends. I also now work from home so am here all day. After coming off maternity leave, I now have a different job which allows me to work from home. So I am home all day as I have a studio in my back garden. I have a 7ft fenced large backyard, fully secure. I have koda my golden retriever, who loves playing with others. My cat Matilda has grown up around dogs. I am able to provide a crate if need be. Or my bed is big enough for night time cuddles :)

I've been taking care of dogs ever since I was 10 years old, This started when I supported my Auntie looking after her dogs, as at one point she had 10!. My love for dogs continuously grew since then. I am very passionate and dedicated person and want to provide the best care for your pets. Who are ultimately, your family! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family and friends pets, plus volunteering in different animal care environments over the years. I've had lots of experience with a range of dogs, and I've also got a dog grooming qualification which has given me further experience in taking care of dogs and meeting and looking after a complete variations of dogs. From a Samoyed, to a Pomeranian. I've learnt a lot about dog behaviours and breeds . I understand that a typical day of looking after pets is to exercise them, feed them, offer them nurture, comfort , interactions and ensure they are warm, safe and well looked after. I can handle any breed of dog, big, small, high energy, timid, low energy, younger dogs and older dogs. I love all different types of dog, so nothing phases me. I am currently working as a Health Care assistant. However this is a bank role, so I will be flexible when looking after your pets. Although my job as a health care assistant is my main source of income. I'd like to be able to commit my time as well, looking after your beautiful pets. As a bank worker, I can pick and choose when I work (as a health care assistant) which was enable me to schedule in your pet care. Animals are my passion , so this is something I'd very much enjoy doing and would like to make time for . I don't have any other commitments outside of work which makes me more flexible. At the moment I will not have pets in my own home due to my family allergies. I would love to look after your pets in my own house but as I live with my family still , this service is unavailable.

About: I have grown up around animals my whole life, having dogs, cats, rats, fish and a hedgehog as a child. I currently live with my partner and our two cats, however I am often pet sitting for friends and family, usually for my partner's family's dogs (dachshunds, border collies and chihuahuas). The border collies in our family are quite old and require daily medication, which is something I'm used to scheduling my days around. When we first got our cats they came to us with fleas, so I'm also no stranger to the occasional flea bath and ear mite check. I enjoy spending my evenings with my own cats after work, however I work very close to home so can happily spend my lunch breaks at home if your pet is boarding with me. I tend to work Monday to Friday 9-5:30 and have weekends free, however I do often have Mondays and Tuesdays and odd afternoons off work too. I have two gorgeous cats of my own who have free range of the house and back garden as we live in quite a secluded, safe area away from main roads. I am more than happy to keep windows and doors closed for the safety and comfort of your pet, however the back garden has high fences so would be safe for a dog. We have plenty of toys and comfy places to nap around the house and a water fountain to ensure the animals keep hydrated.

I understand how important it is to maintain dogs usual routine, so I make sure to follow their feeding schedule, walking routine and any specific care instructions closely. When caring for pets, I give them plenty of attention, playtime and affection as well as ensuring their wellfed, exercised and settled. I treat every dog as if they’re my own with kindness, patience, and care. I’ve been trusted by friends to dog sit in their homes and my neighbours to check in on their pets, so I’m respectful of both your Home and your pets needs. Please note that I don’t offer boarding at my own Home, but I’m happy to care for your dog in their familiar environment where they are happiest.

So, if you have a super strict schedule for them that’s fine or if you’re really laid back, that’s fine too! I may bring my dog Alby on some walks too. He is such a loving boy and has been attending daycare whilst we have been working full time – so he is used to a variety of other breeds and temperaments. He will be a great pal for your dog! I have administered medication for pets before and with clear instructions would have no quarrels with taking on that extra responsibility. Prior to a sit, please let me know your vet details, backup contact, feeding & walking schedule, or if they require any medication. About: I have had 14 wonderful years of owning my own dogs, 1 Bouncy Jack Russell and 2 very lovely yorkshire Terriers all with 3 very different personalities. I love to be around dogs and really enjoy spending time with them, i have shared some fantastic adventures with them. My 3 lovely boys have now sadly passed on, i wont be getting any more of my own pets for now, but would be very very happy to help others with their dogs instead. I currently work monday to saturday until 5pm (4:30 Fridays) but in the evenings or some weekends i may be available to take your dog for a lovely long walk in the local areas (beaches & woodland) When taking your dog out for a walk further afield, i have a pet Hammock and Pet car seat in my car for dogs including pet seatbelts so you can be sure of their safety when out and about with me.

“Leaving Piglet for me for the first time was a bit of a worry especially as we're on holiday. That worry was gone as soon as Mateo arrived at the lodge . Piglet instantly took to him . He asked all right questions and reassured me everything would be fine. He sent me photos of their walk and one with Piglet cuddled up with him , that was a really nice touch. I'll definitely be booking Mateo on my next visit. Coming solo on holiday with your dog can be a bit restricting especially as some restaurants, shops don't allow dogs . I was asked out for dinner and was going to decline . I'm so pleased I've found Mateo and I'll definitely be booking him again.”

About: Hi! My name is Robyn, I have grown up with dogs, our family collies had 8 puppies when I was 12, we cared for them and hand reared them in our home, I loved every minute of it. We still have Peanut, one of the pups to this day. I have cared for my collie every day of their life, I walk them, feed them and I'm aware of how to recognise if an animal is poorly. I am very loving and I can handle small and large dogs, they love me as much as I love them. I'm a little shy with humans but perfectly at ease with animals. You can trust that your pet will be safe, loved and happy! I’m available all week with plenty of time to give your dog the walks, care, and attention they need to stay happy and comfortable. Please enquire and if I am free I am more than happy to help. ⸻ I take my dog out twice a day for long walks and playtime, and I always start the morning by feeding them before our walk. If they get muddy, I make sure they have a bath, and then they have a good nap!
