“My boys always have the most amazing time with Jacqui and Ralph and their dogs. I love seeing the photos and videos of the day they've had. They have their own holiday, whilst I have mine 😄”

“Would highly recommend Ela to anyone looking for a home away from home for their dog. Mila absolutely loves staying with Ela and the pictures and videos are lush - getting to see our pup happy and living her best life definitely eases the guilt I feel for leaving her. Ela is super understanding of Mila’s anxiety and is really patient with her. We will defo rebook with Ela x”

“Rob and Courtney were lovely and took care to really make sure they had all the information to make my doggy’s stay with them as good as possible. They sent updates and kept me in the loop what they were doing with him. They’re clearly both caring dog people and I’d recommend them to anyone. Thank you 😊”

“For first time doggy owners, and this being the first time we've had someone look after our puppy, Sophie was amazing! She kept us updated with lots of photos and videos so we knew Tenno was safe and happy, and it was so nice for Tenno to have Beau to play with. It looked like he had a lot of fun, and will definitely want to go back!”

“We booked our dog, Nelly in with Claudia last minute due to being let down. She was really accommodating, making sure she knew everything about Nelly before she arrived. Claudia kept in touch during the whole stay, sending videos, photos and updates. Nelly had a fantastic time and looked like she had a better holiday than we did.”

“Mark was absolutely fantastic in looking after our pug BB. We had a meet and greet in which Mark instantly formed a bond with BB. BB stayed with Mark for 5 days in which BB had such a great time! Mark kept us updated about BB all the time. We had excellent communications from Mark.Would definitely book again and again. Thank you, Mark!”

“My Chow Chow has taken a real shine to Leoni. Lovely environment, plenty of secure mooching around space outside. Had some great photos of my girl there, which makes a real difference. We met up with Leoni and her dog initially just to see how they'd all get on. Then trial of leaving her there for a few hours. All went really well and Leoni takes this all in her calm, relaxed manner. Next step is our first overnight stay. Looking forward to seeing how this works out!”

About: I have worked for multiple zoos across the UK including Paignton Zoo, ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, and for the best part of my career 10 years specialising in the care of elephants. I grew up with English Springer Spaniels as my family dogs regularly taking them on walks to the beach or Dartmoor and most recently rescued a cat all the way from Dubai. I have achieved full qualifications in animal care and animal management through my studies also completed several training courses. I have a very flexible job that enables me to work from home therefore I have plenty of free time to go on walks and focus on pet sitting. We live in Kingsteignton with a fully secure garden so outdoor access can always be provided and have plenty of nice walks on our doorstep perfect for dogs. We have no children and Janice the cat is our only pet however can easily be separated into her own area of the house. If you’re interested in my services or have any questions, feel free to message me for further details and I will be happy to help. I look forward to meeting you and your loyal companions! 🐾 I am a highly reliable genuine person who you can trust with your beloved pets whilst providing a professional friendly service. “Rhys was very friendly and flexible as our arrival time shifted on the day. Scout seemed to have a great time with lots of lovely walks and he settled nicely overnight. I would highly recommend a stay or care from Rhys and if we’re on holiday in the area again we’d rebook straight away.”

“Maddy was great, very welcoming and warm. Cleo was well looked after with a great garden and some lovely long walks and swims to keep her active. Would definitely use Maddy again. Thank you.”

“Mia has been a wonderful person to look after our 10 year old labrador Ella, she is professional and knows how to make both the dog and the owner feel relaxed and trusting that she will take very good care of the dog. She is clearly very experienced with dogs, and knows how to introduce them and make them feel safe and comfortable. Getting daily photos of what outings they have been on made me feel good and confident that Ella was happy and very well looked after - thanks Mia! (and Haley, the lovely retriever)”

“Angela is such a caring person, and both she and her husband are absolutely lovely. Archie was extremely well looked after during his stay and it was clear he was happy, relaxed and in very good hands. We would happily send Archie on holiday to stay with them again without hesitation. They are genuinely lovely people and we cannot recommend them highly enough.”

“Anna and family were absolutely brilliant! Our dog Reg stayed with them overnight while we went to a concert, and he had a wonderful time! Lovely big garden to run around in, and the kids played with him and gave him lots of attention. He seemed very happy and chilled out when we picked him up, and he didn't seem to have missed us at all! I would highly recommend Anna to anyone looking for an overnight dog sitter. Thank you, Anna and family; we really appreciate how well you looked after our Reg!”

About: We absolutely love experiencing and exploring new places with our doggies (as you'll see from the photos). I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats, and my first career was in veterinary nursing, which I practised for five years before welcoming my daughter into the world. Although that was some time ago, my background has given me invaluable experience in animal care, including administering medication, recognising changes in behaviour, and ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I now work in a school, which gives me plenty of availability during school holidays. My husband works from home, so there is usually someone around to provide company, supervision, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Our home is shared with our two friendly and mischievous Mini Goldendoodles, Philip and Wilbur, and our cat, Pumpkin. We offer a warm family environment with a secure walled garden, patio area, and spacious reception rooms with plenty of room for play, relaxation, and the occasional zoomies. We also have two animal-loving children (aged 8 and 11) who enjoy helping to give visiting pets lots of affection and attention. Every dog is different, so walks and activities can be tailored to suit their age, energy level, ability, and individual needs. Whether your pet enjoys long adventures, gentle strolls, playtime, or simply a cosy place to relax, we will do our best to make them feel happy, comfortable, and part of the family while they are with us. I work part-time in a school, which means I have plenty of time available for walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the week and during school holidays. My husband works from home full-time, so there is usually someone around to provide supervision, attention, and plenty of fuss throughout the day. We are fortunate to have access to beautiful local beaches, woodland walks, and open fields, allowing us to tailor each walk to suit your dog's age, energy level, and individual needs. Most dogs can enjoy two walks per day, typically ranging from 40 minutes to an hour, alongside garden time, enrichment, and plenty of cuddles at home. Every dog is different, so their routine can be adapted to ensure they are comfortable, happy, and getting the right amount of exercise and stimulation. Whether your pup enjoys energetic adventures or gentle strolls, we'll make sure they feel right at home with us. On the weekend we love exploring and going for days out as a family, furries and all! We have a fairly big house with lots of space for relaxing, play and zoomies, accompanied by decent sized, grassy garden and patio area. We have plenty of room for your dog to be crated if desired. Our dogs are all friendly and your pet would be treated like one of the family.

“Charlotte and Josh were wonderful carers for our dog while we were away on holiday - easygoing and knowledgeable, reassuring and flexible, they sent us regular updates and brilliantly navigated some difficulties that arode in a really accommodating, professional and sympathetic manner. We couldn't have asked for more, and we wholeheartedly recommend them for your dog-caring. Thank you to you both!”

About: I've had dogs most of life: as loved family pets and taking care of friends and neighbours dogs for long and short stays. I love going out on the beach for a long walk with them, up on the common or playing games at home. I have 1 family dog who comes to stay often who is blind so I'm used to dogs who need a bit more love and attention. We'll start with a morning walk on the beach or the Maer, some breakfast and then a couple of hours down time until a lunch time wander. After work, we'll have a longer walk over the cliffs, on the common or along the beach. Can play fetch or other games and then home for a chilled evening. I work full time mostly from home and only have doggos to stay on days I am at home. I can use a crate for your dog if needed, or have plenty of space for a bed of theirs. They can bring toys over too. I don't have a garden but live right by the beach and gardens and can go out during the day as well as morning and after work if they need it. I'm happy to have your dog overnight too.
“Absolutely wonderful experience, first time using this sort of service and it’s been a breeze. Lovely couple, kept me informed every day and Harry looked like he had the best weekend. Thank you so much. Will 100% be using your services again if you want too anyway 🙃”

I will be happy to give them any medication if needed and lots and lots of love and care throughout the day.

“Jen was excellent. She communicated clearly prior to our booking, and visited us promptly for the meet and greet. Her updates from the drop-ins were reassuring and accompanied by good photos of the cats. We will definitely be booking Jen again.”

“Rachel looked after my 2 cats for 2 weeks & did a fantastic job 3 times a day. I had regular updates and photos which was so reassuring, & my cats looked happy and pleased to see Rachel every day. Rachel genuinely loves cats and I relaxed knowing they were in excellent care and getting quality time. Highly recommended 😊”

“Very happy with how Harriet looked after our two elderly ragdolls. We came home to very happy cats who had clearly been well looked after. Particularly impressed that they had been given a good brush so were nice and fluffy. Totally recommend 🙂”

About: i’ve volunteered to help a doggy daycare care where i helped walk, feed, wash dogs. in the past i have used my home to dog sit for people who needed their puppies trained and who didn’t want to leave their puppies on their own so they would come to me and i would train and keep the puppies entertained for the day i am currently in education, but my schedule is relaxed so i can do tuesdays 9-11am and 2-4pm, thursdays 9-11am and 2-4pm, fridays 2-4pm and anytime on sundays my dog is well loved and well cared for, unfortunately we don’t have a garden but we take him on long walks every 3 hours to make sure his needs are met. he has an array of toys to keep happy and i love playing catch and tug of war to keep him entertained. he eats 2 a day, morning and night, with treats throughout the day when warranted. he is bathed and groomed regularly so it does not affect his health and has his monthly anti worm and flea tablet.

“Rosie is lovely and gave me daily updates on my cat whilst we were away. She came over beforehand to meet our cat and figure out where everything was. Really pleased and would recommend 😊”

“Beth is amazing. Very accommodating to changing schedules and keeps me informed with regular messages and updates. My collie/lurcher loves her and she makes sure he is well looked after when I am unable to. I highly recommend Beth.”

About: I’ve had cats for most of my life, so I understand that every cat has their own personality, routine, and way of feeling comfortable. I also worked in a veterinary practice for 5 years, which gave me experience caring for cats of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. I’m confident around nervous cats, senior cats, and pets that may need medication or extra patience and reassurance. I understand how important it is for owners to feel their pets are safe and well cared for while they’re away, so I always aim to provide calm, reliable care along with regular updates and photos for peace of mind.
About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my whole life, providing love, exercise, and companionship. Experienced with various breeds and personalities, I ensure pets feel safe and happy. Schedule: Working from home allows me to stop by for daytime check-ins as required. I’m available for evening walks and longer, more enjoyable walks on weekends. I have a fenced garden however will not be accepting boarding in my home due to my two cats needing their own space. Happy to attend an owners home to care as needed

About: I grew up looking after my family and friends pet cats on a regular basis as well as having 2 cats of my own. My previous cat was a stray and my current feline friend is a rescue all the way from Dubai where someone moved house leaving her behind. I’m familiar with all sorts of different breeds of cats with different personalities and can specially tailer my services to meet your individual cats needs! 🐱 My own pet cat can easily be separated within my home if they are not social when boarding.
About: I've grown up with a variety of pets my whole life and have always been an immense animal lover! Because of this, I am often relied on by friends and family to look after their fur-babies whilst they are away and also have lots of experience house-sitting. I'm at my happiest when I'm around dogs and animals and giving them the love and attention they deserve. I own my own home so I'm therefore very responsible and respectful of whoever's home I'm staying in. I will be sure to follow your instructions regarding pet care and certain things around the house. I currently work full-time Monday to Friday so I would be available to look after your pup(s) from late afternoon on Friday until Sunday evening (or early Monday morning). On some occasions if need be, it may be possible for me to work remotely from your home (if WiFi permits and dependant on your facilities but I would need plenty of notice for this). Over the weekend I will be on hand every couple of hours to give your fur-babies my undivided attention, walkies and play time! I would also be available to pop in for checks and short walks during weekday evenings as well. I have a handsome miniature dachshund who keeps me company while I work from home during the week. I have a fenced and secure garden and have a car seat cover that covers the entire back seat meaning we can go further afield for walks as where we live has lots to offer on our doorstep for a variety of walks and terrain. We tend to go on two walks a day and perhaps a longer, more adventurous one on the weekends.

“Catriona is very trustworthy and reliable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a pet sitter while away on holiday. Look forward to booking and using for our next holiday :-)”
“Stevie was amazing our cat! Our cat Jem gets very upset when we go away, but we were regularly updated with pictures of her who came out to see Stevie and play! She was so well looked after and we could go away with peace of mind, thank you Stevie!”
“Catriona & Tim are a lovely couple who did an amazing job for us looking after our two cats and feeding the birds which was so much appreciated. We came home to an immaculate house and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and for you to trust them with your pets too. We will look forward to working with them again soon.”

About: Hey guys! 👋 I’m always going for long hikes with my dog Juni or just cuddling and chilling around the house! I also enjoy riding my friends horses and just being outdoors enjoying our British weather 😁 it’s nice to have a buddy to keep me company, any pet will be treated like my own whilst in my care ❤️ I’ve worked in my clients homes for many years, providing them with care and support...I am respectful and very tidy. I’m free for dog walks and drop ins on weekends, will sometimes have availability during the week. I’m happy to take along my dog or can do line walks if needed. I’m always respectful of my clients homes, ensure their pet receives lots of love and attention. I provide walks and drop ins, happy to let pets out for toileting, feeding or just to have some company and play.
“Aneta looked after our dogs for the first time at the weekend, they warmed to her instantly and she took time to understand what our dogs liked/disliked. We’ve rebooked Aneta for a week or so in September and we feel happy and comfortable knowing our dogs are in good hands.”

About: I am a graduate with a degree in Wildlife Conservation, and have recently relocated to South Devon from Kent. I adore animals and have completed many volunteer placements in animal rescue and rehabilitation. I have been working with the Environment Agency for the past year, and am now beginning a new role as an Assistant Ecologist. I would love to meet all your pets while I’m down here. I have had pet cats my entire life and have looked after many other dogs through Rover, BorrowmyDoggy and personal relationships. I currently work Monday-Friday until approximately 5pm, so would be more than happy to offer evenings and/or weekend walks. I am definitely flexible and happy to offer early morning walks if that is what your pet needs. Unfortunately, I cannot look after dogs in my own home as I have a cat and she will not like that! However, I will go to extra lengths to ensure your fur baby feels comfortable, safe and happy whilst I am in your home or out for a walk. I will send you photo updates throughout my care time to make you as the owner, also feel comfortable and happy that your pet is being well taken care of.

About: Having owned my own cats and cared for rescue cats over the years, I understand the importance of providing calm, reliable, and loving care. I'll make sure your cat receives plenty of attention, affection, and care while keeping to their usual routine, so they feel happy safe and secure in your absence.

About: I’ve had a lot of hands-on experience with cats from an early age, growing up in a home with 12 cats. This gave me a strong understanding of different personalities — from confident and affectionate to more independent or shy cats. I’ve also cared for cats for friends and family, as well as providing drop-in visits, so I’m experienced in maintaining routines, feeding, cleaning litter trays, and making sure each cat feels comfortable while their owner is away. I understand that cats can be very particular about their space and routine, so I always take a calm and patient approach — allowing them to come to me in their own time. Whether your cat loves attention or prefers their own space, I’ll make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for.

“Mark is always so helpful with organisation. Elvis wags his tail and looks so happy as we go towards Mark’s door. Elvis is much calmer since his time with Mark, is much better with other dogs and seems generally happier. Great!”

“Another great day! Lots of outdoor time (walks and play), as well as positive interaction with other dogs. This was our dog Max's second visit to Jacqui, and he settled right in. As before, great communication and some lovely short videos and photos of Max's day. Highly recommended.”

“I cannot recommend Mia enough! Frankie being a very active 1 year old Lab clearly enjoyed her time and was well looked after. I received so many photos that put me at ease, Frankie will definitely be back to play with Harley as she now has a new lifelong friend.”

About: Ive always had an affinity with animals. I had cats growing up and have been a dog owner for the last 7 years. Before then i used to walk dogs in my local area. Very affectionate towards animals and will give them what they need whether that is walks, cuddles or a quiet place to relax. We have an enclosed garden where animals can safely play. I work from home and am my own boss so I have plenty of time to look after and play with your dog. I have my own medium sized dog who gets on with all dogs and is happy and calm. I have a fully enclosed garden and space to play, sniff and explore. The dogs can come in and out as they please and there are places to chill and relax. Dogs are welcome on the sofa.

About: I have had animals since forever, I can’t imagine life without them. I have a lot of love, time and energy for any furry creature I meet! We live in a gorgeous village in the countryside and can offer your pets beautiful walks with lovely surroundings and cuddles by the fire in our cottage. My partner and I are home 24/7, as well as our malinois/husky Otto, who is desperate to make new friends! We take him to a large park near our house for at least 1hr a day, and often go to the beach, river or forest on the weekends for a long walk and of course a game of fetch! Our house is very dog/puppy safe with a good sized secure garden, furniture that is animal friendly and set up for cuddles. We have a car and easy access to local parks, rivers and lovely walks around the village.

“Robyn was wonderful looking after Romi our Yorkshire Terrier. It is obvious she loves dogs as she is so natural and relaxed and because of that Romi was relaxed as well. We have no hesitation in recommending Robyn as she will genuinely love and care for your dog as much as you do. Thank you so much Robyn.”

About: We are a family of 4. We have 2 young children and we all love animals, especially dogs. I grew up with a jack russel & a yorkie when i was younger. We then rescued a dog who was half german shepherd/ half huskie. My children are ages 2 and 4 and would love to have a pet dog in the house so i think dog sitting would be great for us as a family. We are always outside and going on walks and would be great to have a dog along side us. My partner also grew up with dogs his whole life. He recently lost his family dog who was a jack russell named eddie. We love going to haldon forest, teinmouth, stover & decoy during the week. I am currently not working so i have lots of time to play and walk your dog. I love being outdoors, going to the beach or to the moors. I am happy for your dog to sit with me on my sofa for cuddles. My children love dogs so your dog would need to be ok with small children I have a fenced garden so they cannot escape. They will have free rein being indoors in the house or in the garden. About: I’ve had animals in my family my whole life. Growing up we always had a few dogs at a time and tended to have larger breeds, such as Weimaraners and Golden Retrievers. I now have a cat in my own home and help to care for my mother’s Ridgeback. I also have some regular clients that i walk dogs for on a weekly basis, which I have been doing for a number of years. I am on maternity leave until the end of the year so have plenty of free time and can be very flexible. I want to be able to give your pets the attention they deserve, so I will only ever walk your dogs on a one-to-one basis and do not do group walks. I am very flexible with when I am free to help you and give your furry friends some company. I will have plenty of time to take your dog for long walks. I have a fenced garden and a lockable gate. I do have a cat that lives with us and he is used to living with other cats and dogs.
About: Growing up my family has always had dogs and these have all been of varying breeds and sizes. When I moved out of my family home my partner and I decided to get a golden retriever, Harley, so any dogs coming to stay will need to be comfortable around him. Harley is very welcoming to any guests and is used to spending time with small, medium and large dogs so will be good company for your pet. I have a flexible job that enables me to work from home. It is a very sedentary job so I like to go on walks and be outside in my breaks and free time. We live in kingsteignton with an enclosed garden and a gate that opens up onto a park so ideal for the dogs. (Both the garden and park are in the pictures). This means we have several walks on our doorstep but we also like to drive to some. We love going on long walks with Harley and we like to keep the routes varied so we never really do the same walk two days in a row. We have no children and Harley is our only pet.
About: I have had 14 wonderful years of owning my own dogs, 1 Bouncy Jack Russell and 2 very lovely yorkshire Terriers all with 3 very different personalities. I love to be around dogs and really enjoy spending time with them, i have shared some fantastic adventures with them. My 3 lovely boys have now sadly passed on, i wont be getting any more of my own pets for now, but would be very very happy to help others with their dogs instead. I currently work monday to saturday until 5pm (4:30 Fridays) but in the evenings or some weekends i may be available to take your dog for a lovely long walk in the local areas (beaches & woodland) When taking your dog out for a walk further afield, i have a pet Hammock and Pet car seat in my car for dogs including pet seatbelts so you can be sure of their safety when out and about with me.

About: About me: I've always had some sort of pet since I can remember (dogs, small animals, fish, reptiles). I grew up with Boxer's, so they hold a special place in my heart. But I love all dogs (like you should!) and have looked after a range of different breeds and sizes. We've had dogs from puppies into their older years, so I know how their needs change as they get older. I currently look after the family cocker spaniel most days, she's a good little companion but can't walk as far as she use to due to her arthritis. Extras: Studied: Animal biology (Welfare, behaviour, diets...) Worked in a kennels, looked after lots of different breeds, temperaments, ages, needs. Schedule: I currently have some free time and enjoy walking. I have plenty of time, and already look after a few dogs from time to time, so thought I could help out and look after a few more. Drop-In's: In the past I normally check on them make sure they're okay, let them out for toilet break, fresh water, snacks or meal and spend some time with them. When I leave, I follow there normal routine, make sure they're safe and relaxed again.
About: I’ve taken care of family & friends pets for as long as I can remember, I have a lot of experience in that! They trust me to look after their fur babies! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to fit your pet in! I’m available mostly In the week, but can make exceptions for weekends depending on the week 🥰 As my current living situation involves a rented home, I am unable to accommodate pets in this space. However, I want to reassure you that regardless of the location, I am committed to providing a safe and secure environment for your pet.
About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them! I grew up caring for a variety of breeds — Golden Retrievers, a Yorkshire Terrier, a Beagle, a Sprocker, a fox Red Lab, a Frenchie, and now my own Cockapoo puppy, Mabel! From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, I’ve experienced all stages of a dog’s life and understand the different levels of attention, patience, and care each one needs! I’m currently only working 4 days so have plenty of time to look after your pups! Looking forward to meeting all you’re precious furry friends I’m currently not offering at home sitter servies as my house is under renovation very sorry. But more than happy to come to your house!
About: My story 🐾 I’ve always loved animals! I grew up with rabbits and in 2022 I spent time in Italy caring for 3 dogs, 4 cats, and a rescue bunny while helping on a house renovation. Later that year, my partner and I opened a Rover profile and cared for lots of wonderful pets. After some travelling, we’ve now settled in Devon with our 1-year-old dog, Alby 🐾. My partner works full time, and I’m reopening the pet business alongside my part-time work. Animal Care 🐾 I am available for day or night pet sitting, walking, and drop ins, and we are considering boarding in the future too. I can care for your pup, cat or small animal. I am happy to arrange a free meet and greet before walks and sits. I’m very active and enjoy walking and exploring so will enjoy taking your pup for walks or keeping your cats healthy and active. However, if you need me to be purely at the house then that is fine too. As an owner you can tell me how you would like your pet to be looked after, and I will look after them as such. So, if you have a super strict schedule for them that’s fine or if you’re really laid back, that’s fine too! I may bring my dog Alby on some walks too. Please let me know if you would prefer him not to attend. He is such a loving boy and has been attending daycare whilst we have been working full time – so he is used to a variety of other breeds and temperaments. He will be a great pal for your dog! I have administered medication for pets before and with clear instructions would have no quarrels with taking on that extra responsibility. Prior to a sit, please let me know your vet details, backup contact, feeding & walking schedule, or if they require any medication. I know how important it is to feel your pets are safe, happy and well cared for when you’re away. 🐾Whether it’s a fun walk, a cosy overnight stay, or keeping their usual routine. I have cared for dogs of different sizes, ages and temperaments and will tailor each booking as such. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout. Availability 🐾 I will be working part-time hours at my regular job so if my Rover profile is showing some unavailability please feel free to message me if you need care during these hours and I will see what I can arrange. I am available for day or night pet sitting, walking, and drop ins, and we are considering boarding in the future too. I can care for your pup, cat or small animal. About: I’m Jade, I’m 30 and I have been fortunate to be surrounded by dogs since the age of 8. I am a registered mental health nurse, married, and own a beautiful Beagle of my own. I have always loved to be around dogs and have grown up in a family in which have always had a family dog. Myself and my Husband welcomed our boy Hugo into our lives in Jan 2020 and he changed our life for the better. I have also been taking care of different dogs for family and close friends on an adhoc basis for over 4 years and I now wish to expand that to the rover community. My Husband Jordan also works within Mental Health services. We share the same passion for dogs and our Rover journey is a team effort with both of us involved in the care of any dogs boarding with us to enable us to give the best home to home experience possible. Every dog that comes to our house is treated as if they were my own and I’ll always try and do meet and greets prior to bookings to ensure a good fit and to ensure the owner has confidence in leaving their dog with me. I’m currently working full time hours, Monday to Friday 9-5. Evenings are spent walking Hugo and weekends always revolve around what and where we will be walking Hugo too! My Husband works from home Monday to Friday 9-5 so he will always be at home so no dog will ever be alone or unaccompanied. We own a detached house with a fully secure garden with fencing at approx 6ft tall all around. Pets are encouraged to make our home feel like their home, to make sure they are comfortable and have the best stay possible. I will happily cater to each individuals dogs need. I have crates available to use for puppies or dogs that prefer to be in a crate.
About: I love looking after animals! I appreciate the uniqueness of each pet and enjoy getting to know them. I lived with a friend who had a cat for many years and cared for him since he was a kitten. I‘ve also looked after cats and dogs many times for friends while they were away as well as through Rover. I’m currently working part-time and mostly work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I don’t have a car so will need to be within walking distance. I can’t care for pets in my home at the moment. But I am able to visit or stay at your home if that works.
About: As a person who loves animals with years of experience caring for dogs, I'm committed to providing a safe and loving environment for your pet. I've always enjoyed looking after friends and family's pets and consider it a priviledge to do so. I work normal office hours but my weekends are completely free and very lonely as my partner works. I am able to accommodate pets overnight if needed or just drop by for a walk. I have a fenced back garden and no other pets. Our furniture is very simple and there are no dangers of anything falling. We have a mixture of carpet and wooden flooring. We can take extra steps should you require to ensure your pet's safety. I live near Dartmoor and I am able to drive if needed.

About: Hi, I'm Vikki, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. Caring for pets isn't just something I do—it's something I genuinely love and have been passionate about for as long as I can remember. I share my home with my partner, my mum and my furbabies. I've always had a soft spot for rescue aniamls and some of my most rewarding experiences have come from being lucky to have given them a second chance of a loving secure and happy home. My experience isn't limited to dogs – I've also owned rescue cats and rabbits giving me a good understanding of the care and attention different animals require. I am an RSPCA volunteer and qualified dog groomer and am committed to providing safe, reliable, and compassionate loving care, Whether it's dog walking, pet sitting, or providing companionship while you're away, you can have peace of mind knowing your pets will be treated as if they were my own. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, or simply sticking to their usual routine, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I look forward to meeting your furry family member. I recently made the decision to step away from full-time work to focus on what I'm truly passionate about – caring for animals. This means I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets and provide them with the attention, companionship, and care they deserve. I'm available 7 days a week and can be flexible to suit your schedule and your pet's individual needs. Whether you need regular walks, daytime visits, overnight care, or help at short notice, I'll always do my best to accommodate you. As a car owner, I'm able to travel locally and can provide reliable transport when needed. Alongside pet sitting and dog grooming, I'm continuing to develop my knowledge and skills by studying animal welfare & training qualifications through online industry recognised certificated courses. I am committed to maintaining a safe environment at all times, following your pet’s routine closely and keeping you updated for complete peace of mind. I take the time to build trust with every pet, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection.

About: We are a dog walking and pet sitting business inspired by our two rescue dogs, Chase and Lacey — which is where the name Walkies with Chase and Lacey comes from 🐾 We specialise in 1-to-1 dog walks, perfect for nervous, reactive, or more sensitive dogs, while also offering small group walks for sociable pups. Through my experience owning rescue dogs, I understand that every dog is different. Some are confident and energetic, while others need patience, reassurance, and time to build trust — and I always work at each dog’s pace. I have hands-on experience with nervous and sensitive dogs. One of my own dogs, Chase, was extremely anxious around strangers when I first adopted him and avoided all contact. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, I’ve helped him grow into a much more relaxed and social dog. Because of this, I’m very confident in reading body language and recognising when a dog may feel overwhelmed. I always prioritise making dogs feel safe, comfortable, and secure in my care. All services are tailored to suit your dog’s individual needs — whether that’s calm walks, playtime, or companionship while you’re away. Every dog is treated as if they were my own. I offer flexible availability throughout the week, with a focus on daytime walks and visits. Monday & Tuesday: Available mornings and early afternoons (before 3pm) Wednesday – Friday: Full availability for walks, visits, and pet sitting Saturday: Available during the day (before 5pm) Sunday: Available in the morning (before 11:30am) I’m also happy to offer pet sitting and overnight stays, depending on your dog or cat’s needs — feel free to message to discuss specific times. In a pet owner’s home, I aim to keep everything as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow their usual routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest, as I know how important familiarity is — especially for nervous or sensitive pets. I make sure they get plenty of attention, enrichment, and companionship, while also respecting their space if they prefer a calmer approach. For dog walks, I offer both 1-to-1 and small group walks, depending on what suits your dog best. I pay close attention to body language and behaviour to ensure every dog feels safe and comfortable, and I always walk at their pace. These walks can include some enrichment games, ball throwing or just a good sniff in the bushes. If your dog loves something I’ll be sure to include it in our walk. For cats and smaller pets, I provide calm, gentle care — including feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, and interaction based on their personality, whether that’s playtime or simply quiet company. I also keep owners updated with regular messages, photos, and videos for peace of mind. If caring for pets in my own home (if applicable), I provide a safe, clean, and secure environment with plenty of attention, structure, and comfort, treating them as part of the family while they’re with me. I have a walled off garden and have two resident friendly dogs. There are multiple crates on site if your dog ever needs some me time. There are multiple areas to lounge including the sofa and dog beds. Due to warmer weather there is also a dog paddling pool in the garden

“My boys always have the most amazing time with Jacqui and Ralph and their dogs. I love seeing the photos and videos of the day they've had. They have their own holiday, whilst I have mine 😄”

“A huge thank you to Talita, Neil and Mala :-) for their exceptional care of Rex! They gave him plenty of walks and so much loving attention. Throughout his stay, they kept us updated daily with videos, pictures and messages, which was so reassuring. When we picked Rex up, his happy and relaxed demeanour made it clear he’d had a fantastic time. I highly recommend Talita and Neil and will definitely book with them again!”

“Yung and Nick were fantastic with my dog snoopy. She was right at home straight away and displayed levels of confidence that I didn’t know existed. They included her in their day to day routine over Christmas and she loved it. I was very comfortable with them looking after snoopy and I would recommend them to anyone!”

“Highly recommend them always get back to you quickly for the app with updates and pictures what they have been up to very professional our lovely Dog really enjoyed his time away. We will definitely be using her again to look after him. It was lovely getting the update where we’re away in the pictures knowing he’s all happy and safe please don’t hesitate on using her for your pet needs. Really recommend it.”

“I was nervous to leave my boy with a dog sitter but I had no reason to worry at all. He has clearly had the best time being looked after by Nicky In her home. Regular updates of how he was getting on, and was great for him to make a new doggy friend too with Nicky’s own dog. I will be in touch next time he (I) need a holiday!!”

“Absolutely wonderful experience, first time using this sort of service and it’s been a breeze. Lovely couple, kept me informed every day and Harry looked like he had the best weekend. Thank you so much. Will 100% be using your services again if you want too anyway 🙃”
