About: I have worked for multiple zoos across the UK including Paignton Zoo, ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, and for the best part of my career 10 years specialising in the care of elephants. I grew up with English Springer Spaniels as my family dogs regularly taking them on walks to the beach or Dartmoor and around twelve months ago rescued a cat all the way from Dubai. I have achieved full qualifications in animal care and animal management through my studies also completed several training courses. I have a very flexible job that enables me to work from home therefore I have plenty of free time to go on walks and focus on pet sitting. We live in Kingsteignton with a fully secure garden so outdoor access can always be provided and have plenty of nice walks on our doorstep perfect for dogs. We have no children and Janice the cat is our only pet however can easily be separated into her own area of the house. About: I am self-employed, which gives me a lot of flexibility with my availability and hours. I also have two animal-loving children who are at nursery and school during the day, allowing me plenty of time for feeding visits, companionship, playtime and check-ins 🐱💕 I understand how important it is for pet owners to know their cats are safe, comfortable and well cared for while they are away. I always make sure pets have a calm, clean and secure environment, follow routines carefully, and give them plenty of attention, reassurance and fuss. I am respectful of owners’ homes and will always keep communication open with updates and photos if requested 😊

About: I have had animals since forever, I can’t imagine life without them. I have a lot of love, time and energy for any furry creature I meet! We live in a gorgeous village in the countryside and can offer your pets beautiful walks with lovely surroundings and cuddles by the fire in our cottage. My partner and I are home 24/7, as well as our malinois/husky Otto, who is desperate to make new friends! We take him to a large park near our house for at least 1hr a day, and often go to the beach, river or forest on the weekends for a long walk and of course a game of fetch! Our house is very dog/puppy safe with a good sized secure garden, furniture that is animal friendly and set up for cuddles. We have a car and easy access to local parks, rivers and lovely walks around the village.

About: I have had dogs within my family since i was a young child, they are great company and ive always loved being around them. In recent years i have looked after family and friends dogs whilst they go on holidays , work trips etc. i heard about Rover through a friend who suggested i should turn my dog sitting services into a little buisness, so here i am! Im currently in the process of completeing a Dog training/sitting course , then going onto First aid for pets . I currently home school my daughter who is 12, she also has a love for dogs and is always more than enthusiastic when looking after family and friends dogs . We are at home the majority of the week. I live in a quiet area , where there is plenty of calm space to walk dogs , whether its around the houses or a big field 5 minutes walk away, there is plenty of fellow dog walkers along the way. i also have an ample sized , grass garden that is partly decked .

I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats, and my first career was in veterinary nursing, which I practised for five years before welcoming my daughter into the world. Although that was some time ago, my background has given me invaluable experience in animal care, including administering medication, recognising changes in behaviour, and ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I now work in a school, which gives me plenty of availability during school holidays. My husband works from home, so there is usually someone around to provide company, supervision, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Our home is shared with our two friendly and mischievous Mini Goldendoodles, Philip and Wilbur, and our cat, Pumpkin. We offer a warm family environment with a secure walled garden, patio area, and spacious reception rooms with plenty of room for play, relaxation, and the occasional zoomies. We also have two animal-loving children (aged 8 and 11) who enjoy helping to give visiting pets lots of affection and attention. Every dog is different, so walks and activities can be tailored to suit their age, energy level, ability, and individual needs. Most dogs can enjoy two walks per day, typically ranging from 40 minutes to an hour, alongside garden time, enrichment, and plenty of cuddles at home. Every dog is different, so their routine can be adapted to ensure they are comfortable, happy, and getting the right amount of exercise and stimulation. Whether your pup enjoys energetic adventures or gentle strolls, we'll make sure they feel right at home with us. On the weekend we love exploring and going for days out as a family, furries and all! We have a fairly big house with lots of space for relaxing, play and zoomies, accompanied by decent sized, grassy garden and patio area. We have plenty of room for your dog to be crated if desired. Our dogs are all friendly and your pet would be treated like one of the family.

About: Dogs have always been my world. From raising my own border collie to caring for others, I’m relied on for love, reliability, and peace of mind. About: From the age of 6 my family adopted a dog and I walked and cared for him. Since then I have always loved dogs and their very individual personalities. Every time I visit my father in Spain, I happily am the one who cares for his dog. I am currently looking for work that I can do online, so that when I do have work, I would also be able to be home with the dog. Tuesdays and Wednesdays I usually visit a friend to work on an art project, although should you require a full week of dog sitting, book in advance and I can rearrange this. The dog would have access to a fenced garden. There are a few parks locally where the dog can also relieve themselves and exercise. Dogs being pack animals do love attention and I love to pet.

About: I have cared for animals since I was very young. Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Fish, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters Chickens and Horses. Animals have always been a part of my everyday life. I am only work part-time so have plenty of time to give live and attention to your fur babies. For animals that wan't attention I am happy to play. I always ensure an owners home is looked after and secured as if it were my own home. I always keep it clean and tidy.

We had arranged a specific pick up time but needed to extend which was very easy to sort out. When we arrived Jesse was very settled and relaxed with Vanessa and definitely in no hurry to leave. About: I’ve looked after dogs since I was 10 whether that be my own dog a family dogs neighbours dogs washing them bathing them walking and feeding them and grooming them I am currently not working due to moving up this way recently so have full availability to come and dog sit play with your pets Monday to Friday anytime needed I have a contained garden and a friendly little dog who loves walks and being outside I can easily get a dog in a create if that is what’s needed
