About: I've looked after my family dog and my nans 2 dogs over many years during several holidays I've volunteered to stay and look after the dogs with all their exercise food and medical needs. Currently off work due to relocation and after many projects with books and exercise i have decided to use my experience to look after dogs and ensure owners have peace of mind I can easily follow and ensure all pets are well cared for and safe, following owners instructions carefully. The pet comes first, I am used to dog walking, feeding, giving medicine if required, sticking to the dogs routine and making sure they feel loved and safe with me.

About: Welcome to Wilbur’s Way 🐾 Myself and my partner, Meg, are a family of four who have grown up around dogs of all different sizes, breeds and personalities. We both work from home, giving us the time, flexibility and attention needed to make sure every dog in our care is never short of company. Our love for looking after dogs grew even stronger after we sadly lost our much-loved English Bull Terrier, Wilbur. Over a year ago, we decided to open our home to other dogs, and since then we’ve had the pleasure of looking after so many wonderful pooches, from tiny Yorkshire Terriers to some of the biggest breeds, including Cane Corsos. We’re a genuine family home, and dogs staying with us become part of the family while they’re here. We have a four-year-old and a new baby, so our home is naturally busy, loving and full of life. We understand that every dog is different, which is why we take the time to learn their individual personality, routine and preferences. We’ve built Wilbur’s Way from our love of dogs and the experience we’ve gained from caring for so many different breeds over the past year. I'm an early riser, that loves walking and exercise. For the last 5 years, walking our English Bull Terrier has been part of my day-to-day. We have a lot of time and energy to be able to ensure your dogs stay is as joyful for them as it is stress-free for you. We have a secure rear garden which your dog will have use of whenever needed. It’s safe & secure meaning they can spend as long out there as they’d like to.

About: I am a designer who works from home, after always having dogs I miss their company a lot. Instead of getting a dog I decided to host dogs in my house. I live in a cottage in St Austell, tucked away in a quiet part of this seaside town. I have a lovely big garden with sunshine and shade where they can play or potter about. The cottage is cool and quiet and has everything a doggy would need. Your dog will never be left alone as I work here too. I only take one dog at a time or dogs from the same household so they will have a really personal experience that will be tailored to them and their needs. There is a wealth of glorious beaches and river trails only minutes away for playtime, walks and relaxing. I try and make every day like a doggy holiday even if they are only staying a short time. I have owned dogs myself as well as having grown up with one always in the household. I had my last dog from a puppy and fully trained him, we did agility classes together too. I have also owned a rescue dog in the past who I worked closely with a trainer for to understand his body language and his needs so I do have experience with dog behaviour. I work from home during the week so your dog will have lots of 1:1 attention as I need to take regular breaks away from the screen. I always walk in the morning, lunchtime and the end of the day as a way to get outdoors and it’s such a treat to do that alongside a doggy friend. I can offer a pet free, smoke free house with a fenced in garden. Please do bring anything your dog likes along to make them comfortable, maybe a bed and some favourite toys for playtime

Gina, from the moment we met, made us feel relaxed and in safe hands. Our small holding included goats, chickens, rabbits and cats and they all adored her! She went above and beyond, from brushing to talking to them to reassure when they timid ones showed signs of feeling anxious. We are so grateful! And will definitely be using Gina again. About: I have taken care dogs since I was 14, training guide dogs, including the family dog and voluntary work which led to paid work for walking neighbours dogs and at a dog kennel walking dogs and cleaning kennels. I have been dogsitting on and off for 16 years and rescued 3 dogs. I have done more regular sits since a friend from church asked me to dog sit, then I used Trustedhousitters as a sitter for 3 years and have done 12 different successful sits of which a few have been asked back, so I also know how to take care of people’s homes and multiple pets in the home. Your dogs will be happy with me and treated like family, they will have play time and rest time and I always stick to the rules that you have set for them and their meal times including what they eat. I would never feed your dog human food or over treat them or punish them. If I am sitting I would take them out for a walk in the local areas up to 3 times a day but they will have plenty of toilet breaks. If I am only walking your dog, I will keep them on the lead and go for as much time as they need. Your dog will be in safe hands with me. I am an at home full-time student, I start my last year in October and finish in May 2027. I will have time to go for dog walks anytime as I can pick my days and times to study. I cannot bring pets into my home currently as my 2 cats are the proud owners but I can meet you for a pick up or take care of a dog at your home

“I would give Emily 10 stars if I could! We had to leave our two cats for two weeks and Emily was absolutely the perfect choice! We have a very extroverted cat and one who panics and had stress induced paralysis at meeting strangers from abuse in her early life and from day one Emily was somehow able to bond with both of our girls. She took pictures, videos and gave detailed accounts of all of her visits, she put a smile on our faces every time we heard from her! Our anxious cat seemed to absolutely love Emily, she let her give her a stroke and came out multiple times when Emily got there, our extroverted cat was the exact same and loved her visits! We asked Emily if she could do an extra day after we booked which was incredibly last minute and marked unavailable on her schedule, and despite leaving for Paris the same day, Emily still came and visited our girls to make sure they were okay! Em carried out everything we asked of her and went above and beyond on many occasions, even using some of her own rubbish bags for emptying the litter as we had run out of them ourselves. We will 1000% be asking Emily for her services again if we have to leave for a while! We were so worried about leaving the girls as we had never been away longer than two days before but as soon as Emily followed up with us after her visit we knew we had made the right choice and we had absolutely zero stress during our time away. If anybody is in the same position as us and you’re worried about choosing the right person to take care of your fur babies, Emily should absolutely be your first choice! About: I grew up surrounded by animals and have always loved caring for and learning about them. Over the years I’ve had many different animals of my own, and I currently have my little dog Kai, who is a very important part of my family. My love for animals has also been influenced by my dad’s work in wildlife conservation, so I’ve grown up with a real appreciation for animals and their individual needs. I’ve also had experience working in a veterinary practice, which I absolutely loved, and I’m now starting my training to become a Student Veterinary Nurse. About: I have one dog and one cat currently, I have always been surrounded by animals and ensure they get the best walkies that are mentally stimulating and physically tiring. Big lover of cats and know how to handle the fluffiest to the grouchiest. Your pets are in safe hands. I work from home in Par and get a break midday and I’m finished by 4:15. I am able to walk dogs before and after work and if needed during my lunch break. I can walk dogs/check in any day of the week. Can do multiple walks a day. I understand animals and adapt to their temperament. I have a calm presence and respect your pets boundaries and individual needs. About: I moved to Cornwall for university and soon found the passion for surfing. I now live in Cornwall and have been looking after dogs for several years now. Moving to Cornwall on my own has made me very independent, but also very flexible. Which means pet care fits easily into my day to day routine. I have a few small jobs that I can schedule around the dog sitting, so I'm able to give pets plenty of time and attention. I thrive on having a routine and living an active, healthy lifestyle. When looking after pets. I understand how important routine is, including regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention, especially as different breeds have different needs. With my active lifestyle, i genuinely enjoy walks, runs, and spending time outdoors, so keeping dogs happy and exercised comes naturally to me.
