Hi my name is Sarah. I have been walking dogs and petsitting professionally for 5 years now and run an award-winning business (Pets Ahoy Plymouth). I’ve been away from Rover for a little while but I’ve come back as I now have space to take on some new clients. I have always loved animals and grew up with the cheekiest little border terrier, who we treated like another member of the family. Since we lost him, I decided to start caring for other people's pets. I have lots of experience from working at kennels, doggy day care and running puppy training classes, where I have met so many different dog personalities. I have a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from the University of Plymouth. I run weekly puppy classes with Puppy School, after previously volunteering as an assistant to a more experienced trainer. I am fear free certified, so you can be assured that I am committed to never using methods rooted in fear, pain or punishment with your pets. My schedule is fairly flexible allowing plenty of free time to walk or pop in to your home for visits (cats too!). I live in the PL3 area and provide services within a 3 mile radius. Having lived in Plymouth for a while now I am familiar with several walking routes and I am happy to make adjustments for nervous dogs to make them more comfortable and I can provide you with picture and video updates. I provide services at the owners home and will care for your furbabies like my own, sending lots of fun and reassuring picture and video updates.

Currently, I’m only able to provide services at your home, where your pet feels most comfortable and can get one-on-one attention from me. I also only walk dogs from the same household.

Sarah has been doing drop in visits with my dog while I’m at work, and I’m so pleased, would recommend her to anybody. It’s the first time I’ve used a dog sitting service, and she’s made the whole thing so easy and friendly, and I can go to work knowing that my pup is in safe hands 🥰🐶
Sarah did drop in visits for our little Archie, while we were away on a trip for 2 weeks. She took really good care of him. Archie likes to play in the yard, and Sarah made sure he had enough sun shine whenever it's possible! She also spent time cuddling and playing with Archie to keep him happy, in addition to regular feeding, litter changing etc. She also gives regular updates with photos and videos. Recommend booking Sarah for your peace of mind!
Sarah walked Jax for us while we were on vacation and did such an amazing job! We received several videos and pictures of him during his walks and she was very timely with arrival and duration. We will certainly be using her services again and highly recommend to others!
Sarah has been fantastic looking after my two cats! I got so many wonderful pictures and videos every day and she updated me on everything they'd been up to. I would absolutely rebook Sarah again, she was incredibly respectful of my home and would recommend her to anyone :) Thanks!

Sarah is a lovely person who clearly loves dogs. We have a small, territorial dog who is standoffish and doesnt like new people, however Sarah took him in her stride. She provided excellent feedback during the day and really made us feel confident that the dog was OK throughout a long day (the longest he's ever been left alone). Would recommend to anyone.
