I love animals, and as I am currently a student at university, have plenty of time to walk your furry friends! Particularly during week days, I have lots of free time and would love to meet all of your pets.

I will respect your space, and make sure to care for your lovely homes when visiting your pups and kitties. I will arrange a meet and greet prior to your booking to meet your pet and either pick up keys or lockbox codes, which I store confidentially and dispose of after the booking is complete.

A typical day
I love going for long walks, so will take your dog to explore the area around you so they can sniff around until their heart is content! Having owned dogs myself, I understand how important it is to keep a dog active, so will make sure that your fur baby gets the most out of our time together. As well as this, I will give them lots of cuddles (if your dog enjoys attention)! If you are booking a drop in, I will complete what needs to be done in regards to feeding etc, then either play with or just give attention to your pet - whichever they prefer!

Pet care experience
I have worked with animals from as young as 13 (I am now 22!), when I began volunteering at an animal sanctuary. Here I gained plenty of knowledge about caring for dogs, as well as experience walking a large variety of breeds. I have also worked in a pet shop, which further added to my knowledge of animals and the behaviours they can display. I have always loved pets, and have a dog myself called Bailey. I’ve been on Rover for a couple of years now, and would love to care for your pet!

Great communication and really reliable
My cat is very shy & nervous of people she tends to hide away, plus we have just moved so my cat had lots of changes in a short period of time. Shannon was very reassuring & put my mind at ease. Although my cat did her usual act of hiding away on her visits I knew she was being fed watered, had a clean litter tray & was being looked after. The updates are great you know exactly how your pet is doing. I would recommend Shannon to anyone she is very caring & friendly, my cat was in good hands!
