“Hannah & Jordan took such wonderful care of Woody, he has had a brilliant time with multiple walks per day in different locations, swims, brushes and cozy sofa time and cuddles. We felt really bad that we couldn't bring Woody away with us and were nervous leaving him but Hannah & Jordan sent us lots of photos and messages each day. About: I am a professional lady who works for the NHS and am a huge dog lover of all types and sizes. I have looked after dogs for over 20 years now. They have full run of the house and are welcome on all furniture. My flexible working hours allow me to mostly work at home - ensuring dogs get the attention, love and lots of walks. My work is very flexible and I mostly work from home. Pets come first in this household-making sure they are cared for, loved and most importantly have lots of lovely dog walks. Our firm favourite is Plymbridge Woods. I have a safe and secure small garden, a dog flap if needed. They have the full run of my house and I only ever have one dog boarding to ensure your pooch gets the love and attention they need.
“I honestly cannot recommend Millie and Sam enough!! Morris stayed with them for the weekend and I felt completely at ease the whole time. They kept in touch throughout with updates and lovely photos which made me feel so reassured that he was happy and being well looked after. I could tell that they genuinely cared about Morris and he had the best time. Sam even came and picked him up and dropped him back which made everything so easy and stress free for me. About: I’ve taken care of friend’s dogs for the last 5 years. Our amazing boxer dog died in March and we really miss having a dog around the house- so would be honoured to look after yours. I am on maternity leave until the end of 2026 so can provide lots of care for your dogs as I am at home a lot. About: Happy, caring and energetic dog walker looking for new 4 footed friends to walk. I have ample experience walking many different dogs. I love a good long walk, don't know who enjoys its more, me or the dogs! i'm also very happy to host a dog or 2 in my house. I will happily do pop in visits for dogs that are at home all day. I have been caring for animals for many years, I grew up surrounded by animals, mainly dogs. for much of my teenage life i worked in a stables where i would help care for the 13 (yes 13!) stable dogs that ruled the roost. I have also volunteered at a few animal shelters where I would help acclimatise strays by being their primary carer. I currently have a small female dog and a large male (neutered) tabby cat. Both are friendly and welcoming to guests. I have an enclosed garden for pets to Enjoy and I’m a 2 min walk from Tothill park, a wonderful place for dog socialising and exercise. In April 2026 I welcomed my son into the world so our guests need to be ok with children. Look forward to meeting you all soon!

This is the 3rd time we have left Bella with Lucy. I can highly recommend Lucy as she’s brilliant knowing Bella is happy. Lucy responds to all my messages straight away, send regular updates on how Bella is doing during her stay and send regular photos/videos. Bella seem to enjoy her stay and always look forward going to Lucy as soon as she gets there. Bella makes herself a home. I would definitely be asking Lucy to look after Bella again.
Morgan was amazing with my large dog Finn. Felt very comfortable leaving him with her, you can tell she is a natural with dogs. I got regular updates and it was great to know he was happy and in very safe hands. Would highly recommend Morgan, and will have no hesitation using her again.
Georgie helped me out through a bit of a difficult situation. She took over the sitting of my dog (Milo) from a friend of mine where he could only look after Milo for five days of a seven day period, which she understood and thankfully accepted. My friend handed Milo over to Georgie for the final two days. Georgie also helped me out big time by returning Milo to our home after our return from a lengthy journey home. I can’t thank Georgie enough for the way she helped me out.
Having never used a dog sitter before, I couldn’t be any happier with Amber . From start to finish, Amber has made the process super easy and I have felt re-assured throughout that she was perfect to look after my daft lab ( plus her beautiful girls helped too!! ) Amber kept me updated throughout his stay with updates and photos which was brilliant reducing any worries I had about his silly Labrador ways! Hannah & Jordan were a fantastic help for us. They did amazing with our collie, Oakley. We were concerned about leaving him as he is a rescue and he is very close to our family. Sam and Milly looked after my two girls for two days while we were on the Rame peninsular and I can highly recommend. Sam is an excellent communicator, responds very quickly and kept me updated so that I had no concerns whatsoever. Both dogs are completely different in size, age and needs but they were both very settled and happy. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Sam in the future if I'm looking for dog care in Plymouth

Indie always has a fab time with Naomi. She really takes care of Indie as if she were her own dog. Indie loves going to visit and gets excited when we pull up outside the house! I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is feeling nervous about leaving their dog. She really puts your mind at rest with all the picture updates.

I urgently needed boarding because of an important family event abroad, and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. That meant the world to me. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
