Michelle remained calm throughout all contact with us whilst we problem solved how to manage it. Indie always has a fab time with Naomi. She really takes care of Indie as if she were her own dog. Indie loves going to visit and gets excited when we pull up outside the house! I urgently needed boarding because of an important family event abroad, and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. That meant the world to me. Kate has been excellent in looking after my rather skittish dog, Lola. Lola is quite high energy and can be reactive, Kate was very understanding and dealt with her very well. Lola was taken on good long walks that match her energy levels, and we got lovely photos!. Will definitely book Kate again.
Bridget was absolutely brilliant abd you can tell how much she loves dogs. Charlie is so precious to me and therefore its very important to have someone look after him and would care for him as I would. Charlie seems to have had a great time despite being restricted to garden walks only as he had a ligament injury and his medication was administered as instructed. We were updated with photos and videos daily so could see he was happy and content. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending Bridget.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
