“Dolly had a wonderful holiday with Alison 😃 We received lots of updates and Alison was really flexible when we had to collect Dolly a day early due to car issues. We will certainly be booking with Alison again in the future!”

“Lucy and her family have been great with Bear, the updates were fantastic, we were really nervous to leave him for a week but they treated him like their own and spoilt him with love and affection! Will definitely use Lucy and family again!”

“I honestly cannot recommend Millie and Sam enough!! Morris stayed with them for the weekend and I felt completely at ease the whole time. They kept in touch throughout with updates and lovely photos which made me feel so reassured that he was happy and being well looked after. I could tell that they genuinely cared about Morris and he had the best time. Sam even came and picked him up and dropped him back which made everything so easy and stress free for me. They made me feel so comfortable leaving him and I trusted them straight away. Morris came home relaxed and clearly very well cared for. I would 100% recommend them to anyone and will definitely be using them again and again. Thank you both so so much!! ❤️🐾”

“Excellent dog sitter. Provided care and fully attention to Freddie. Lots of photos and videos to let me know what he was up to. Very much recommended, hopefully rebook again soon. Thank you Sophie.”

“We met Joanne before the booking dates and both felt completely happy for Bertie to stay. We had updates and photos each day which was lovely to see! Bertie was very well cared for and we are definitely going to book again with Joanne. A fantastic experience all round!”

“Cassie had a wonderful time boarding with Amber and associated pooches. She'd never spent a night away from us so we were uncertain how she would respond, but she was made to be one of the family and we got regular updates and more photos when we were missing her. For our first holiday away from her it took the stress of wondering how she might react to kennels and needing extra vaccines. Would definitely use the service again if needed ✨🌟”

“Hannah & Jordan are absolutely fantastic with our old boy Murphy. They take him for lovely walks and dips in the water. He goes straight in when he's dropped off which shows us how comfortable and happy he is. It fills us with so much confidence knowing he is relaxed & settled. We can leave him and not have to worry as we know he is in the best hands! His next stay with Hannah & Jordan is already booked!!”

“A wonderful dog sitter and I couldn’t recommend her more! Anindita took excellent care of my dog and her regular updates and photos of how much fun he was having put my mind completely at ease.”

“Thank you for looking after Bee. She was happy, well cared for, and clearly loved spending time with you. Thank you as well for the lovely updates throughout the day they really helped put my mind at ease. I would absolutely book with you again”

“for zulu first time staying overnight and hearing that she bonded with all the family is amazing. Zulu truly loves coming to yours and spending time with all the family especially the spending time with the kids and making you all smile alot. She truly is spoilt when she there which is so lovely to see especially when i come and pick her up as this is what she gets a home. Thank you so much for the service and the update with photos and videos of zulu first time trying the car and the beach. You guys are truly outstanding and love the fact that you guys get to enjoy spending time with Zulu and enjoy her just like i do ❤️”

“Lily and her partner were fantastic with my dog, Reggie. I had to book short notice due to illness but Lily was very responsive on the app. They were both very friendly and attentive. My dog was really well looked after and I had lots of update photographs which was lovely. I had peace of mind that Reggie would get plenty of fuss and be well cared for. I recommend Lily for dog sitting and I will be using her in the future.”

“Abby was so lovely and amazing with Norman! We felt really at ease leaving him with her, and got some great photos of him having the best time. Would definitely recommend, thanks so much Abby!”

“I had such a great experience with Julia as my dog sitter! She took wonderful care of my mini dachshund overnight and treated him as if he were her own. Julia is very detailed and attentive, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pup was in good hands. I also really appreciated her flexibility — being able to pick up my dog as early as 8am was a huge help for my schedule. I would definitely recommend Julia to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter, and I’ll be happy to book with her again!”

“This was Bobbies second stay with Stacey, also her longest stay with anyone. As soon as we dropped Bobbie off she went to Stacey, it was so reassuring to see that your dog is very comfortable with someone other than family. Once again Stacey took amazing care of Bobbie, we received lovely photos & videos throughout her stay to reassure us. You could see that Bobbie had settled well & was having a wonderful time. Not only did Stacey & her family treat Bobbie like their own dog, but they also even bought her a gift of some lovely toys for her to take home, so kind and completely unexpected. We will definitely be booking with Stacey and her family again; we are completely reassured that Bobbie has a lovely time while away & is as well cared for as we could wish for. We cannot recommend Stacey highly enough - Thank you”

About: I have just returned to Plymouth after spending 2 years in Australia, part-time pet sitting with my partner, Zach! I am looking to start this again now I am back in Plymouth, but full time. In Aus, I was registered on Madpaws and had regular clients who would board with me at my house / I would provide walking services. I mainly looked after dogs and had a range of ages and breeds. I always do the upmost to build a trusting relationship with the pet, to ensure they feel safe and at home when they’re in my care, with regular updates to the owners guaranteed (I will upload the reviews from my Aus clients). Prior to moving to Aus, I volunteered at my local animal shelter in Plymouth - walking dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments and backgrounds. In addition to this, I have grown up with an array of pets, including cats, guinea pigs, rabbits etc., and have a genuine love for animals. I am a qualified health professional and usually work in a medical environment - but I am currently having a break from that given I have just moved back to Plymouth, so I have lots of free time to give to your furry friends. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have a query! I am a qualified health professional but have decided to take a break as I have just relocated back to Plymouth after living in Australia for 2 years! Therefore, my time would be completely devoted to looking after your furry friends I have a fenced garden and a large house with a lane for walking dogs and a park nearby. I can drive, so I love to take dogs out for a variety of different walks to different locations depending on owner and dogs preference. We have a cat at home that my mum looks after but they aren’t fussed by other animals.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my personalised approach to pet care. With experience in puppy training, I not only keep your young ones active but also reinforce positive behaviors and routines. For senior pets, I provide gentle care, tailored to their specific needs, ensuring their comfort and well-being. My commitment to building trust with every pet I care for means they feel safe, loved, and happy while you're away. Whether it’s engaging in play, or offering extra cuddles, I go the extra mile to treat your pets like my own. I’m currently working full time as Reception Manager but I am remote 4 days a week and only need to be in the office on a Friday evening and Saturday day so I can provide your furry friends with all of my care and attention. I have a 3 month old kitten Simbi, and she lives a very loved and happy life! I provide attentive care for pets in both my home and the pet owner's home. Whether at my place or yours, I follow each pet's routine closely, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In my home, I create a welcoming, pet-friendly environment with plenty of playtime, regular walks, and cozy spots for naps. When caring for pets in their own home, I maintain their familiar routine, from feeding schedules to favorite toys, so they feel secure while you're away. My focus is on creating a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners.
About: I currently own a 14 year old male Chihuahua named Milo. Myself and my boyfriend live in a home near central park but also have a lovely secure garden. In November 2025, alongside working full time I have been providing dog/house sitting for a 13 year old Pekingese, 2 guinea pigs and chicken where I offer a high level of care, administer oral medicine and take care of eye treatment and I understand the importance of patience, routine, and attentive care — especially with senior dogs. I have really taken to enjoying looking after someone else's pets so I registered as self employed and have decided to pick up some Rover clients too! I have experience with owning my own dog, a rabbit when I was around 11, plus my grandparents had sheep, cows, chickens, ducks, and all manner of farm animals which I was happily involved in from a young age! My work schedule varies as I currently work full-time, with typical shifts falling between Monday–Saturday (8:30am–5:30pm) and Sunday (10am–4pm). However, I’m always happy to discuss your pet’s individual needs and come to an arrangement that works best for them. Whether your pet is comfortable with shorter periods alone or requires more companionship, walks, medication, or check-ins throughout the day, I’ll always be transparent about my availability and ensure they receive the care, attention, and routine they need to feel happy and secure. My home provides a safe, clean, calm, and loving environment for your pet while they’re in my care. I live in a house with a fully enclosed and secure garden, giving dogs a safe outdoor space to enjoy. I will be the sole caregiver for your pet, allowing me to provide consistent attention, supervision, and routine throughout their stay. I’m experienced and comfortable caring for dogs with additional needs, including administering medication and following specific dietary requirements or schedules. Having a senior dog myself, I understand how important patience, gentle handling, and maintaining familiar routines can be. My Chihuahua, Milo, is very friendly and still enjoys his daily walks — whether that’s a shorter 20-minute stroll around the block or longer 50–60 minute walks around the Central Park loop, depending on your dog’s energy levels and needs. Your dog’s comfort and safety will always come first, which is why I strongly recommend a meet & greet before any initial booking. This helps ensure everyone gets along well and gives you complete confidence that your pet will feel happy, secure, and relaxed during their stay.

I left for a much needed trip with my Hudband for 8 days and Anindita treated my dog as her own with love, care , hospitality and total professionalism. She sent us updates regularly and photos and even a few videos ; which relieved our minds of any problems or quirks with our dog Jimi . We have a sensitive dog with a quirky tummy at times and Anindita went above and beyond to help him with some special dietary assistance. She is the best sitter I have ever had and as a special act of kindness ; she gave our dog a little birthday celebration with s video ; since we could not make it back home until the day after his special day . I highly recommend her and her dear husband was very kind with my doggie as well. Thank you so much , as a person with a sensitive dog always worries and through this app Rover I have found the best sitter ever !

It was the first time leaving our spaniel with Lily and Charlie for a 3 night stay. After dropping him off we felt very relaxed for our trip ahead. He was well looked after and there was regular communication from Lily. We will definitely be booking in again . Thanks for taking great care of him!
I honestly cannot recommend Millie and Sam enough!! ❤️🐾

Kate has been excellent in looking after my rather skittish dog, Lola. Lola is quite high energy and can be reactive, Kate was very understanding and dealt with her very well. Lola was taken on good long walks that match her energy levels, and we got lovely photos!. Will definitely book Kate again.

Bridget was absolutely brilliant abd you can tell how much she loves dogs. Charlie is so precious to me and therefore its very important to have someone look after him and would care for him as I would. Charlie seems to have had a great time despite being restricted to garden walks only as he had a ligament injury and his medication was administered as instructed. We were updated with photos and videos daily so could see he was happy and content. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending Bridget.
