“Tracey and Sarah have given Belle an amazing time, lovely walks and lots of play time, and has made a new friend with their dog River. Tracey kept me well informed with what Belle was up too, lots of regular photos. I recommend Tracey and we will definitely be using her again. Thank you xx”

“We found Laura through Rover and it has proved to be a very successful arrangement as Laura and her husband are excellent sitters and we feel very comfortable leaving Barnie with them whenever we need to. Communication is always a priority and it's great to see the messages and photos of Barnie looking so happy.”

“for zulu first time staying overnight and hearing that she bonded with all the family is amazing. Zulu truly loves coming to yours and spending time with all the family especially the spending time with the kids and making you all smile alot. She truly is spoilt when she there which is so lovely to see especially when i come and pick her up as this is what she gets a home. Thank you so much for the service and the update with photos and videos of zulu first time trying the car and the beach. You guys are truly outstanding and love the fact that you guys get to enjoy spending time with Zulu and enjoy her just like i do ❤️”
“It was my first experience with Rover and I’m so glad I did. Harriet was excellent, I had text and video reports showing Jago having a wonderful time. I highly recommend Rover, especially Harriet”

“Another visit with Lucy again! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. She welcomes him, as always, with open arms and accepts my boy as her own. Extremely reliable and incredibly grateful to her for her support and kindness. Highly recommended.”

“Ernie had such a great stay. They really cared for him and looked after him very well. I could tell he was very happy there. They sent lots of photo updates and were really flexible when I asked to extend the stay by an extra day. Thank you so much!”

“This was our first time sending our 5-month-old puppy, Nimbus, to a sitter, and we were a bit nervous. George immediately put us at ease, meeting with us beforehand to answer all our questions. It was clear from the start that he is a knowledgeable and passionate dog lover. During his stay, Nimbus was incredibly well-cared for. He socialized wonderfully with George's dogs, Doug and Minnie, and we loved the daily updates we received. It was so reassuring to see how much fun Nimbus was having. We highly recommend George to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and caring dog sitter. He truly went above and beyond to make sure Nimbus had a great time.”

“Excellent dog sitter. Provided care and fully attention to Freddie. Lots of photos and videos to let me know what he was up to. Very much recommended, hopefully rebook again soon. Thank you Sophie.”

About: I've grown up around dogs, so having muddy paws around the house feels pretty normal to me. My grandad was a well respected vet, which meant I was lucky enough to meet dogs of all breeds, ages and personalities, including plenty of rescue dogs! I have just moved out of my parents house which has meant I no longer have my two beloved border terriers to keep me on my toes! I work from home full time so your dog won’t be left counting down the hours until you’re back. They’ll have plenty of company, lunch time walks and lots of cuddles of course! I work from home full time, so I’m lucky to have plenty of time during the day to look after your furry friend and keep them company! My partner also has a flexible job, which means we would happily adapt to their routine and make sure they are well looked after. I’m active and love spending time outdoors, so getting out for walks is something I really enjoy! Whether they’re up for a longer walk or just a good explore of the local area, I’d love to have them join me and become part of my day. We have a fenced garden with lots of room for your dog to run around and enjoy some outdoor time! There are plenty of walking spaces nearby, including a forest 5 minutes walk away, so there are lots of options for longer walks and shorter strolls. We’re not a strict household, if your dog is allowed on the sofa at home, they’ll be more than welcome to relax on ours too! We’ll always try to keep them to their usual routine and make sure they feel comfortable while they’re with us.
“Conny was wonderful, we have never left Otto with anyone before so we were worried how he would be left and the fact he is only 12 months old and can be a handful. There was no need to worry at all Conny was brilliant with him and gave him 2/3 days full of adventures! He went on loads of lovely walks, on the beach through streams and had a lovely time playing and being totally spoilt! Conny sent so many lovely photos of what Otto was doing to keep our peace of mind, I’m surprise Otto wanted to come home! I absolutely recommend Conny to anyone looking! 🐾🐾”

“We cannot recommend Esther and family enough. We adopted our little dog Nelson as my brother was dying. Nelson stayed with Esther for two weeks while we got all of the logistics sorted. Esther was so kind and gentle with Nelson, rehabilitating him and loving him. She provided lots of updates, really good feedback about Nelson’s routine and went above and beyond to support us and Nelson. Esther is amazing and I cannot thank her enough.”
“Hannah & Jordan took such wonderful care of Woody, he has had a brilliant time with multiple walks per day in different locations, swims, brushes and cozy sofa time and cuddles. We felt really bad that we couldn't bring Woody away with us and were nervous leaving him but Hannah & Jordan sent us lots of photos and messages each day. They were also flexible when we were delayed by an hour. It feels as though Woody has had a holiday and has been so well cared for! We would definitely recommend Hannah & Jordan.”

About: I have had dogs throughout my life and have always loved being around them. Over the years, I have gained plenty of experience caring for dogs, including providing daycare and dog-sitting services for a variety of breeds, ages, and sizes. I am confident looking after dogs with different personalities and needs, and I understand the importance of giving them plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I enjoy taking dogs on regular walks in the park near my home, as well as longer walks through the surrounding countryside, giving them the opportunity to explore and stay active. I have a friendly dog of my own who loves having other dogs around for company. He is very sociable, playful, and enjoys making new friends, which helps create a welcoming and comfortable environment for visiting dogs. I am passionate about providing a safe, caring, and enjoyable experience for every dog I look after, treating them as if they were my own. I am available throughout weekends and have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your dog. We are usually at home or out enjoying adventures with our own dog, Norman, so any visiting dogs will have lots of company, attention, and opportunities for exercise. Whether it’s relaxing at home, enjoying playtime, or exploring the outdoors on walks, I will make sure every dog feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I love being able to give dogs the time, care, and companionship they need while their owners are away. We have a spacious three-bedroom house with plenty of room for dogs to feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay. Dogs are welcome throughout the house, including on the furniture and even in the bed, so they can enjoy all the home comforts and feel part of the family. We also have a secure garden where dogs can safely play, relax, and enjoy some outdoor time. Our own dog, Norman, is very friendly and loves having other dogs around. He enjoys making new friends and helps create a fun, welcoming environment for any visiting dogs. Our home is a safe, friendly, and dog-loving space where your dog can settle in, enjoy plenty of attention, and feel right at home.
“This is a really easy review to write, and throughly deserved. It’s never easy leaving part of your family with someone you don’t know, but my mind was put at ease immediately when I dropped him off. Hector, our Australian Labrador had a great time and I’m sure didn’t want to come home. Comms were fantastic throughout, we received regular messages accompanied each time with photos of him, out for a runs visiting parks and many other areas it seemed. He also made himself at home on the sofa and bed but Nicola always checked first what was allowed. If we’re back in the area Hector will most certainly be staying again, and we can’t recommend highly enough.”

“The first boarding attempt! It turned out to be that Kai, who normally takes longer to settle in less familiar places, slept through the night, while Jet, who is normally easy-going, had trouble calming down and falling asleep. Alison was very patient, and correctly analysed that Jet (the brightest and the most sensitive between the boys) realising that my husband and I were not going to be with him during the night was the cause. I was glad that Alison gave me her honest opinions. She also showed good undersanding of the boys' behaviour and showed great care for them. Thank you Alison, and have a good rest! Hopefully, it'll be better next time!”

“Found an instant bond with Tracy from the minute I met her and I knew I was leaving my dogs with a loving family in a lovely home. I received daily photos and could see my dog’s were enjoying their holiday as much as I was mine.on my return I could tell my dogs had enjoyed their stay. Would highly recommend and will defiantly be using Tracy again.”
About: I am a designer who works from home, after always having dogs I miss their company a lot. Instead of getting a dog I decided to host dogs in my house. I live in a cottage in St Austell, tucked away in a quiet part of this seaside town. I have a lovely big garden with sunshine and shade where they can play or potter about. The cottage is cool and quiet and has everything a doggy would need. Your dog will never be left alone as I work here too. I only take one dog at a time or dogs from the same household so they will have a really personal experience that will be tailored to them and their needs. There is a wealth of glorious beaches and river trails only minutes away for playtime, walks and relaxing. I try and make every day like a doggy holiday even if they are only staying a short time. I have owned dogs myself as well as having grown up with one always in the household. I had my last dog from a puppy and fully trained him, we did agility classes together too. I have also owned a rescue dog in the past who I worked closely with a trainer for to understand his body language and his needs so I do have experience with dog behaviour. I work from home during the week so your dog will have lots of 1:1 attention as I need to take regular breaks away from the screen. I always walk in the morning, lunchtime and the end of the day as a way to get outdoors and it’s such a treat to do that alongside a doggy friend. I can offer a pet free, smoke free house with a fenced in garden. Please do bring anything your dog likes along to make them comfortable, maybe a bed and some favourite toys for playtime
“I left for a much needed trip with my Hudband for 8 days and Anindita treated my dog as her own with love, care , hospitality and total professionalism. She sent us updates regularly and photos and even a few videos ; which relieved our minds of any problems or quirks with our dog Jimi . We have a sensitive dog with a quirky tummy at times and Anindita went above and beyond to help him with some special dietary assistance. She is the best sitter I have ever had and as a special act of kindness ; she gave our dog a little birthday celebration with s video ; since we could not make it back home until the day after his special day . I highly recommend her and her dear husband was very kind with my doggie as well. Thank you so much , as a person with a sensitive dog always worries and through this app Rover I have found the best sitter ever !”

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Dobwalls
We were so grateful to find Tracie when we needed local help while in Cornwall for work. Our dog clearly had a wonderful time with her, and we really appreciated all the updates throughout. It was clear that our dog enjoyed all the fun and experiences she had during her stay. River (Tracie's dog) is such a lovely dog and we loved seeing them play and it was so nice for our dog to have a furry companion for a few days. Tracie’s communication was super clear, and we felt completely at ease knowing Annie was in such good hands. Thank you so much, Tracie! x

Being a first time leaving a pet with anyone and a puppy which can be quite lively was a bit apprehensive, but had a visit before hand with Tracie and got on well, my pup and her dog bonded well, so left my pup with Tracie to look after days later for a few days, she kept me updated via text on how he was doing and also received some photos of him, found Tracie friendly and accommodating and would recommend if looking for a place to accommodate your pet,

I can’t recommend Tracie and Sarah enough. They took great care of our boxer, Neo, whilst we were away. Communication was excellent throughout, they responded to messages straightaway and sent regular photos and updates. We felt totally confident that we had left our dog in good hands and we would definitely leave Neo with them in the future ☺️

Amy and her family looked after both our boys whilst my husband and I got married. Not only did they give them outstanding care, they helped us by taking them to the venue so they boys could be with us for the ceremony and photos before taking them away again for the night whilst the frown ups celebrated. Thank you so much, you looked after Harley and Alfie so well - they were clearly very happy with you and you helped them relax after an excitable afternoon. When we next holiday your way, we will be sure to employ your services again. Thank you, Georgina and Chris, Harley and Alfie
