4. Theo G.
About: Hi, I’m Theo George — a reliable and passionate dog carer based in Newquay and Truro with years of hands-on experience. I run the online delivery side of my family business, Cornwall Canine Centre, and I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life — from small Yorkies to champion Great Danes. My mum’s been a professional breeder and Crufts winner for over 20 years, and I’ve grown up helping with grooming, walking, training, raw food feeding, and everything in between. I know how to handle all kinds of dogs — nervous, hyper, giant breeds, seniors, puppies — you name it. I may only be 18, but don’t let that fool you. I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs — literally. My mum is a professional breeder and dog show expert, and at one point, we had 36 dogs on our property (not including puppies!). From a young age, I’ve been hands-on with walking, feeding, grooming, and even caring for newborn litters. I’m calm, confident, and mature beyond my age — especially when it comes to dogs. Ever since I was 8 I used to compete in Champion shows with my mum around the whole of UK, I’ve been to places like Birmingham where I’ve competed in Crufts, been to Wales, Scotland. Ever since I was young my neighbours and friends will rely on me to look after their canine pets, walking, sitting and I know it’s not a flex but I’ve been in many scenarios where dogs have got into awful fights and I’ve had to break it up, put stitches on open wounds in them after where things have been bloody, my parents trust me a lot of on these situations even after growing up in a butchers where I’ve seen horrific stuff. I’m not these dog walkers where if there dog is in a fight they panic. I just stay calm and composed and break it up. So you can always rely on me. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I currently live with my parents, and we’ve always had dogs in the house — so I’m constantly walking and looking after them whenever I have free time, doing little road trips in my van. Monday to Friday, I’m at college during the day and running the online side of my family dog business in the evenings, so I’m unavailable for daytime bookings during the week. However, I can offer house sitting overnight or evening visits between 8pm–10pm if needed. On Saturdays, I’m available from 1pm onwards for dog walking, sitting, or quick pop-ins to let dogs out. Sundays I’m fully free and available all day for the same services. When caring for dogs, whether in my own home or a pet owner’s, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and fun environment that suits the dog’s personality and needs. Personally, at home, I let our dogs out in our secure garden throughout the day so they can run around freely and burn off energy at their own pace. I also take them on beach walks or field runs, which keeps them active and content — after that, they usually relax and sleep for most of the day. I feed my own dogs a raw food diet because of the many health benefits I’ve seen over the years — shinier coats, better digestion, and more energy. That said, I always respect each dog’s usual routine and diet, and I’m happy to prepare kibble, raw food, or any other special requirements you provide. I’m big on structure, positive energy, and being hands-on. I’ll give your dog proper exercise, attention, and supervision — not just sit around scrolling on my phone. If I’m in your home, I’ll treat it with respect and care just like I do with the dogs. I’m also happy to give medication, deal with special feeding needs, or help with basic training commands like sit, stay, or lead control. If anything unexpected ever happens, I stay calm and act quickly — I’ve dealt with fights, injuries, and emergencies before, and I always put the dog’s safety first. If I look after your canine on a consistent basis, I’d be happy to offer you a 10% discount on any of our Cornwall Canine Centre deliveries — whether it’s raw food, treats, or other essentials. It’s my way of saying thanks and making your life a little easier

5. Conny G.

“This was the first time we have left Otto and Finn with a home boarder and it’s been a very positive experience. Conny obviously loves dogs and they went into her house wagging their tails. We got regular updates and photos which enabled us to have a relaxing couple of nights away. Otto can be wary of strangers so to get sent a photo of him enjoying a belly rub was very reassuring and showed he was a very relaxed dog. Hope we will be able to book Conny again!”

6. Callan J.

“I cannot rate Callan highly enough. He asked sensible questions in advance, gave clear information about his set up at home, and when they met he and Dexy seemed to get on like a house on fire. We were able to relax and be dog-free for 24 hours knowing that Dex was in good hands. Thank you so much Callan!”

7. Alex F.

“Alex was amazing when looking after my boy for the weekend. Great communication, updated with pictures & videos. One happy dog & owner! Thank you Alex”

8. Sascha M.

“Lucky had a brilliant stay with Sascha and her lovely family. He enjoyed long countryside walks, ball games and cuddles. Sascha was fantastic with Lucky, very patient and caring. He had a big smile on his face when we picked him up and keep coming back to her for cuddles 🥰 We will definitely book again!”

9. Charlotte H.

“Our 9 month old puppy had a fab week with Charlotte. From our first enquiry Charlotte was really quick to respond and was happy for us to visit prior to our pups stay. We had lots of lovely photos and updates during our holiday. We would definitely be happy for our puppy to stay with Charlotte again”

10. Karleigh A.

“My Bella enjoyed her stay with Kayleigh. Kayleigh was very flexible and took the booking at short notice. She kept me updated with photo's. I will definately use Kayleigh again. x”

11. Richard S.

“Richard looked after our dog Amber and was excellent from start to finish and we wouldn’t hesitate to use him again. He is clearly very knowledgable when it comes to dogs and he made Amber feel very settled and at home. We had pictures and videos to reassure us she had settled in, and throughout her stay. Exceptional service!”

12. Caroline P.
“Caroline has a long history of caring for animals. She has always shown deep love and appreciation for her senior pug Bruno; mindful of his needs and spoiling him with trips to the beach. Caroline is considerate of all animals, even taking in stray kitten (nutmeg) when confirming she had no home. She is a kind person to all who will guarantee your animals safety and happiness as she has shown throughout her years of owning them.”

13. Jake R.
“Jake has always been amazing with our dogs - greyhounds and a German Shepherd X. He's always found the best way to connect with them individually, whether that's gentle fusses on the sofa with our old girl, or crazy rough and tumble games with our puppy. Jake has a lot of experience with dogs, both training and loving them, and we have always felt confident asking for his help with our pups!”

14. Luke S.

“If you are looking for a safe, loving home from home where all your dog's needs will be met then Luke is your man. I made a last minute looking for my 3yr old beauceron bitch to stay last weekend. All weekend I received lovely videos of my girl having a lovely time. The care she received from Luke, his girlfriend Enaya and daughter Serenity was second to none. When I collected my dog she was happy, relaxed and tired. Thank you xx”

15. Alex S.

“Alex was fantastic with our dog Guinness. Lots of updates during our holiday. Continued training with Guinness and lots of dog walks. When we collected Guinness he looked great. I think he had a very happy two weeks. Would highly recommend Alex. We will continue to have Alex in the future. Regards Paul”

16. Tom A.

“Brilliant sitter , provided updates and took good care of Millie, will book again!”

17. Alexander H.
“We left our dog with Alex and His wife for the weekend when we were staying down in Helston at a non dog friendly campsite. Instantly knew they were dog people on arrival as they made Bess feel right at home. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wholesome, safe and friendly place for their dog to stay.”

18. Anna E.
“Anna has looked after my lab x staff a couple of times now and i’ll keep going back to her for as long as she lets me! I was a bit scared to have someone else look after my dog, but Anna was so caring and treated him like one of her own. Jack enjoys his time with Anna, and I feel reassured when she sends me daily pupdates and pictures of him playing.”

19. Darren P.

“Darren was absolutely fabulous with Doug😃. It was the first time Doug had stayed with anyone other than family & he had an amazing time. Lots of lovely walks , treats and he even made a new doggy friend. Darren looked after Doug really well & sent me lots of lovely updates of Doug on his adventures! Would highly recommend👍”

20. Charlotte M.

“Charlotte and Howard looked after our 10 month old English Pointer, Freddie, for a week whilst we went on our first holiday abroad without him. It is fair to say that I was fairly anxious about leaving him for the first time, but Charlotte and Howard made the entire process very easy; we visited their lovely home in advance of Freddie’s stay, which put my mind at ease. They are in a great location for dog walks and have a nice and secure garden suitable for dogs to potter around in. Freddie, whilst very friendly, is a large and strong dog and still ultimately an excitable puppy; nonetheless Charlotte and Howard did a great job of looking after him whilst keeping us regularly updated. He came back home happy and the entire process was stress free. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants their dog to reside in a stress free and happy environment, safe in the knowledge that they are being well looked after. Thank you both.”
