About: Born into a veterinary household, I grew up caring for every type of animal — from hamsters and tortoises to lambs, cats and dogs. As an adult, I’ve always shared my home with dogs, from tiny Shih Tzu puppies to giant Newfoundlands. This lifelong experience has given me a natural instinct for understanding what every dog needs to feel safe and loved. At the points of life where Iv been able to live with animals such a university or housing restrictions I have volunteered at either a dog walking charity or a small grooming business. Currently taking a break from cardiac Nursing, as youngest child is in their first year of school. Once school run is done we will either head to Trevaunance Cove, Portreath beach, Idless woods. Whichever you your pup would prefer. Then home for a snack & snooze, while I complete chores Then again after school pick up have a fun run down Coosebean woods/ cycle track just at the back of my home. I have a large garden that has some holes in the hedge-line, however your dog will be supervised while outside. No toxic plants. Always have access to fresh water, inside and outside

About: Dogs are so precious and I’ve been looking after them for years. I have experienced with big dogs, small dogs, young dogs and old dogs! I love to get to know their personalities and interests, and base my care from that. I love long walks and if your dog did too, then we will make a great match. I’m playful, attentive and respectful and I love a dog cuddle! I work full time from home, so I can use that as a huge advantage and work from your home whilst caring for your lovely pets! I am absolutely happy to take your lead on what your pet needs, and base my care on that. Whatever precautions you take in your home, I will follow alongside those routines that are so important in making sure your pet feels minimal change when you’re away!

“Wow, we were so lucky to have found Ilona, she was the perfect person to look after our border collie, Ben. We rescued him recently and so he is quite needy and yet Ilona took everything in her stride and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. She knew exactly what Ben needed, especially in the crazy heatwave, and I would 100% recommend her to anyone to look after your dog(s). She responded very quickly to my booking request and was clear about timings and was so reliable and very trustworthy. She also kept us updated with photos and took him for walkies in the woods as it was shaded.”
