About: I am a designer who works from home, after always having dogs I miss their company a lot. Instead of getting a dog I decided to host dogs in my house. I live in a cottage in St Austell, tucked away in a quiet part of this seaside town. I have a lovely big garden with sunshine and shade where they can play or potter about. The cottage is cool and quiet and has everything a doggy would need. Your dog will never be left alone as I work here too. I only take one dog at a time or dogs from the same household so they will have a really personal experience that will be tailored to them and their needs. There is a wealth of glorious beaches and river trails only minutes away for playtime, walks and relaxing. I try and make every day like a doggy holiday even if they are only staying a short time. I have owned dogs myself as well as having grown up with one always in the household. I had my last dog from a puppy and fully trained him, we did agility classes together too. I have also owned a rescue dog in the past who I worked closely with a trainer for to understand his body language and his needs so I do have experience with dog behaviour. I work from home during the week so your dog will have lots of 1:1 attention as I need to take regular breaks away from the screen. I always walk in the morning, lunchtime and the end of the day as a way to get outdoors and it’s such a treat to do that alongside a doggy friend. I can offer a pet free, smoke free house with a fenced in garden. Please do bring anything your dog likes along to make them comfortable, maybe a bed and some favourite toys for playtime

About: I trained me Sprocker Spaniel who is still a puppy. This involved basic commands and recall. He is well behaved, well socialised and a happy dog :) I run my own business so have good flexibility during the week and at weekends. I won't be out for more than 3 to 4 hours and I can walk, feed and socialise them inbetween. I will be there to look over them most of the day..I may leave for 3 to 4 hours but will make sure they've been walked and fed before so.

The restaurant didn’t allow dogs, and it was far too hot to leave them in the car, so finding someone at short notice was a huge relief. Corben came to our holiday accommodation to look after the dogs, which made everything so much easier. He gave us complete peace of mind, allowing us to relax and enjoy our lunch knowing they were in good hands. She started working with him the beginning of June, visiting him and working with him to build trust before taking him to the back garden and then eventually for walks and finally staying at our house for a full week to watch him without incident. Fair to say Murray loves Sophie and gave her lots of cuddles. Sophie has a very calm and kind demeanour that Murray took to right away. About: Born into a veterinary household, I grew up caring for every type of animal — from hamsters and tortoises to lambs, cats and dogs. As an adult, I’ve always shared my home with dogs, from tiny Shih Tzu puppies to giant Newfoundlands. At the points of life where Iv been able to live with animals such a university or housing restrictions I have volunteered at either a dog walking charity or a small grooming business. Whichever you your pup would prefer. Then home for a snack & snooze, while I complete chores Then again after school pick up have a fun run down Coosebean woods/ cycle track just at the back of my home. I have a large garden that has some holes in the hedge-line, however your dog will be supervised while outside. No toxic plants. Always have access to fresh water, inside and outside

About: I began by independently fostering a pregnant cat who I rescued from the streets, providing housing and care throughout her pregnancy and raising her kittens to ensure their health and development. This experience led me to a role at an animal rescue, where I worked for approximately a year caring for rescue cats and dogs, managing all aspects of their care. A key part of this work involved confidence building, to ensure good quality of life. Consistent handling to help the animals feel secure and settle into their new environment. I’m currently working from home so I will be in your dogs/cats company for majority of the day. Typically I do a daily big walk for myself so this is something your dog can potentially join in on. I live in a small studio apartment in the country side with a large garden (not fenced in) lots of land surrounding me, and many nature walks. There are friendly dogs on the property which your dog can befriend depending on your preference for that.
