Marvin clearly liked Sophie the pictures and messages she sent were lovely and updated me throughout the weekend which was great, as I do worry about leaving Marvin he had a new night time routine and Sophie managed to get Marvin in at night which in itself I was worried about. About: I grew up surrounded by animals and have always loved caring for and learning about them. Over the years I’ve had many different animals of my own, and I currently have my little dog Kai, who is a very important part of my family. My love for animals has also been influenced by my dad’s work in wildlife conservation, so I’ve grown up with a real appreciation for animals and their individual needs. I’ve also had experience working in a veterinary practice, which I absolutely loved, and I’m now starting my training to become a Student Veterinary Nurse. About: I am a designer who works from home, after always having dogs I miss their company a lot. Instead of getting a dog I decided to host dogs in my house. I live in a cottage in St Austell, tucked away in a quiet part of this seaside town. I have a lovely big garden with sunshine and shade where they can play or potter about. The cottage is cool and quiet and has everything a doggy would need. Your dog will never be left alone as I work here too. I only take one dog at a time or dogs from the same household so they will have a really personal experience that will be tailored to them and their needs. There is a wealth of glorious beaches and river trails only minutes away for playtime, walks and relaxing. I try and make every day like a doggy holiday even if they are only staying a short time. I have owned dogs myself as well as having grown up with one always in the household. I had my last dog from a puppy and fully trained him, we did agility classes together too. I have also owned a rescue dog in the past who I worked closely with a trainer for to understand his body language and his needs so I do have experience with dog behaviour. I work from home during the week so your dog will have lots of 1:1 attention as I need to take regular breaks away from the screen. I always walk in the morning, lunchtime and the end of the day as a way to get outdoors and it’s such a treat to do that alongside a doggy friend. I can offer a pet free, smoke free house with a fenced in garden. Please do bring anything your dog likes along to make them comfortable, maybe a bed and some favourite toys for playtime

About: I have one dog and one cat currently, I have always been surrounded by animals and ensure they get the best walkies that are mentally stimulating and physically tiring. Big lover of cats and know how to handle the fluffiest to the grouchiest. Your pets are in safe hands. I work from home in Par and get a break midday and I’m finished by 4:15. I am able to walk dogs before and after work and if needed during my lunch break. I can walk dogs/check in any day of the week. Can do multiple walks a day. I understand animals and adapt to their temperament. I have a calm presence and respect your pets boundaries and individual needs. I will listen to your direction closely and ensure I follow direction to create the best possible outcomes for your pet.
