“George was really understanding about Phoebe's delicate nature, and loved and looked after her as I would do. He is an excellent house guest, and I would highly recommend him. I shall be booking George again when I next go away.”

“This was our first time using Rover and we were delighted to have found Ruiradh. Our dogs were so well looked after. We received regular updates too. It felt strange entrusting our house and our boys to someone we’d only met for an hour or so before. It all worked out brilliantly. Ruiridh will certainly be our first choice in future.”
“In the end due to one thing and another Kizzie only stayed 2 nights but it was wonderful and calming me to know that my darling Maggie was being looked after so well while I was unexpectedly detained in hospital. I can recommend Kizzie and will certainly use her in the future should the situation arise.”

“First time I've ever left the dogs with anyone and I couldn't have chosen someone better. The girls had the best time, enjoyed walking and relaxing with David. I was kept up to date with photos too, which was lovely. Thank you. Will definitely be booking again.”

“Nicole is lovely. We had photos, videos and updates sent to us during her overnight stay. We had never used a cat sitter before but would highly recommend Nicole and will definitely use her again”

“As a first time for having someone other than family look after our dog Bailey, I was a little nervous/anxious about the whole thing. But from our first meeting to the end of the actual booking I have been so impressed by India, I honestly have nothing but praise and gratitude for her. Bailey absolutely loves her, India has a caring warmth about her which which radiates. We were away through the heat wave and India kept us fully updated, she even brought her own cooling mat to help Bailey whilst also conversing with us if there was anything we usually do to keep Bailey cool. We were sent photos and given updates and knew we could contact India if we had any cocerns. India left our home exactly how she found it and it was great to come home and not worry about cleaning or stripping beds as India had done it for the room she stayed in. We can not recommend India enough and would be more than happy to book her again if we manage to get away! Thank you India x”

About: About me I am a dog lover from a child. I had my first dog when I was 6 which I adored he was a Black Lab cross Retriever. When I was a teenager we cared for many dogs at our acreage property. We had 3 dogs all up and many times took on others for friends and family. More recently we had a beatiful boxer cross bull dog that we inherited from my Dad. I have also pet sit for a friends West Highland Terrier, British Bull Dog and a neighbours Cavoodle. Some day sits and overnight. I am very flexible with my availability. Looking to help people with their furry friends. Also happy to help out with Cats have lived with a few over the years. I have been doing regular pet sitting in Australia through madpaws, whaggy whiskers grooming and doggy daycare and also Australian Housesitters since mid 2025 I am currently semi retired. Love to travel and play some Texas Holdem tournaments here and there and online so when I’m Pet sitting I can be fully available for your fur baby I only provide service in your home. I have done regular pet sitting for groomers, madpaws and Aussie Housesitters for the last 12 months and am now looking to live partially in the UK as I have dual citizenship.

“Emma was wonderful during her recent sit for Tilly. Had a lovely meet and greet... , friendly and open. Communicated well throughout the stay and Tilly relaxed very quickly in her care and was very settled and comfortable when we arrived home.”

About: I trained me Sprocker Spaniel who is still a puppy. This involved basic commands and recall. He is well behaved, well socialised and a happy dog :) I run my own business so have good flexibility during the week and at weekends. I won't be out for more than 3 to 4 hours and I can walk, feed and socialise them inbetween. I will be there to look over them most of the day..I may leave for 3 to 4 hours but will make sure they've been walked and fed before so.
About: I’ve had pets in my family home as long as I can remember, including three dogs, two cats, two tortoises, fish and hamsters over the years. I’ve always loved being around and looking after animals, especially dogs. I grew up with an English Springer spaniel and a Dandie Dinmont terrier - two dogs that were polar opposites but both affectionate and loyal - what more can you ask for? After they both passed away last year, my mum brought a Maltese poodle puppy called Lola into the family home and it’s reminded me of how playful and loving pets are. In terms of experience, I’ve dog-sat and walked my mates Australian Labradoodle and previously looked after neighbours cats while they’ve been away. If you’re interested, please feel free to reach out - Thanks. I work full-time for a multinational professional services company however my job is fully remote and employees are entrusted to work flexible hours to manage their own work schedules. I’d love the extra bit of company when working from home and the opportunity to get out on walks during the day. I live in a dog- friendly duplex flat with open plan living and kitchen and a small-medium sized balcony. I understand this may be off putting but I’m a 3 minute walk from Lovell Park, and only a 10 minute walk from the canal, which I often run along and is very popular with dog walkers. I have a very comfortable sofa and plenty open floor space to roam around
“Joe, did a great job looking after Rusty for us. He kept in touch via a WhatsApp link and it was obvious that Rusty felt very relaxed and happy in his company. Joe sorted out some good walks and flexed Rusty’s normal schedule so they were walking in the cool of the evening rather than the midday heat. Joe was also kind enough to keep plants watered whilst we were away. We’d happily ask Joe to sit for us again.”

“Thank you so much Sophie & Nick. My dog is very anxious and has separation anxiety. Sophie & Nick took the time to get to know him and gently introduce him. It's clear to me how much they care about dogs, as my boy was very well looked after. Sophie sent lots of photos snd regularly updated me on how he was managing. Highly recommended and will certainly book their services again.”

“Liana stepped in at the last minute to look after our dogs after a previous dog sitter who we booked last October let us down, this was an important occasion my daughter’s wedding. I was amazed how calm she was and I felt at ease straight away. Asking someone to look after 8 dogs albeit small ones is a big ask, but she was brilliant and I really hope they behaved for her! I would definitely ask to rebook her again, and I’m grateful to my friend who recommended Rover.”

About: My experience with just dealing with pets is having my own animals from young. I've had fish, hamster, guinea pigs and dogs. My first dog was a rescued Boxer, Ruben. My first proper puppy was a Pug, Dexter, then we rescued Alfie another Pug at the same age as Dexter (around 4yrs.) My house sitting and pet experience was living in an annexe above my landladys garage. She had a working cocker, Zeva. She'd trust me with looking after her house and Zeva while she had to go away for work or on holiday. That was over 2yrs of me living there. I even took Zeva away with my boyfriend and I as we went to Bournemouth for a weekend I was looking after her. We got a pet friendly accomodation and she had the best time on the beach and in the sea playing with her ball. I work 3 days a week, so have plenty of time for sitting and walking pets. I like to walk daily, so dog walking is well suited with my lifestyle. I care for pets in an owners home by communicating with the owners in the first instance to see what responsibilities they expect of their sitter to make sure their animals are in perfect care.
“We couldn't be happier with Holly and Giles and their dog sitting over four days. During the meet and greet, before accepting the request, they instantly hit it off with our dog and were very thorough with questions abouts our dog's needs and routines. Holly was always quick to respond to messages and sent us pictures and videos during the actual dog sitting. As well as treating our dog with respect, it was clear they also treated our house with respect during their stay.”

“Zarina looked after our dog while we were out for a concert - he is a large breed and can have separation anxiety, but Zarina’s calm and confident manner reassured both pet and owners. Shortly after we left, she messaged us with an update and a photo of our dog having settled down, and continued to update us while we were out. Would recommend!”
