“Em is one of the best sitters we've ever had after years of using Rover. Peg was in the best hands and was calm and happy with Em during an overnight sit. We received lots of amazing peg content throughout the sit too which is always a bonus! Thank you once again Em, you're the best!”

About: I am a designer who works from home, after always having dogs I miss their company a lot. Instead of getting a dog I decided to host dogs in my house. I live in a cottage in St Austell, tucked away in a quiet part of this seaside town. I have a lovely big garden with sunshine and shade where they can play or potter about. The cottage is cool and quiet and has everything a doggy would need. Your dog will never be left alone as I work here too. I only take one dog at a time or dogs from the same household so they will have a really personal experience that will be tailored to them and their needs. There is a wealth of glorious beaches and river trails only minutes away for playtime, walks and relaxing. I try and make every day like a doggy holiday even if they are only staying a short time. I have owned dogs myself as well as having grown up with one always in the household. I had my last dog from a puppy and fully trained him, we did agility classes together too. I have also owned a rescue dog in the past who I worked closely with a trainer for to understand his body language and his needs so I do have experience with dog behaviour. I work from home during the week so your dog will have lots of 1:1 attention as I need to take regular breaks away from the screen. I always walk in the morning, lunchtime and the end of the day as a way to get outdoors and it’s such a treat to do that alongside a doggy friend. I can offer a pet free, smoke free house with a fenced in garden. Please do bring anything your dog likes along to make them comfortable, maybe a bed and some favourite toys for playtime

“Thea was perfect with our puppy and cat during our holiday. She kept us updated through the week and the pets certainly looked like they were enjoying themselves. She left the house nice and clean too. Would highly recommend Thea and would love to have her again for our next time away!”

“Sophie responded to my request so quickly and came to my house to cat sit for the weekend at very short notice. I came home to a very happy cat. Marvin clearly liked Sophie the pictures and messages she sent were lovely and updated me throughout the weekend which was great, as I do worry about leaving Marvin he had a new night time routine and Sophie managed to get Marvin in at night which in itself I was worried about. I would absolutely love to recommend Sophie and will definitely myself be reaching out again.”

“Rosanna was amazing and stepped in at the last minute when a different sitter cancelled housesitting so we could still go for a celebratory meal out. She responded promptly and shared updates through the evening. Would recommend!”

About: We are a couple that loves dogs but travels alot, Jo works from home with flexible working hours which can work around pet care easily. Morning, lunch and evening walks are easily to cater for. Intermittent attention throughout the day is a welcome distraction from my desk. Dogs walks before work, lunch and after work well in any weather depending on the activity level of the dog. I work remotely so all I need is a desk for my laptop. I work from home with flexible working hours which can work around pet care easily. I have the time and flexibility to look after your pet. I have the flexibility to work the same schedule you have with your animal. Happy to look after the home as well as your beloved pet.
“*Worth more than a 5* review* I can’t recommend Jasmin and Callum enough - such a lovely couple and brilliant with my dogs. My first time using a dog sitting service and I felt very comfortable leaving them in such capable hands. I really appreciated the updates and photos too. Thank you both”

“Fantastic!! My 2 dogs took to her straight away, she gave them lots of cuddles, attention and enrichment in the garden. She also left the house clean, tidy and secure. I will definitely rebook!”

“We had previously hired Corben for a day time dog sit and did not hesitate to contact him again when we then needed an overnight stay with our dog. Corben was very flexible with the timings and very attentive to our needs to allow us to make the most of our night away. Corben was great with our dog and provided regular communication on how she was getting on. I can't recommend Corben enough. Knowing our dog was safe and happy allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our event without worry. We will definitely be booking Corben again for any of our dog sitting needs.”

“Maxine was brilliant with our two dogs and even had Lexi, our rescue dog, sitting next to her.. that only happens with us usually! She sent pictures of the dogs relaxing and on a walk whilst we were away, which was really nice. We would totally recommend Maxine and would book her if we are near here on holiday again. Thanks so much :-)”

“This was our first time using Rover and we were delighted to have found Ruiradh. Our dogs were so well looked after. We received regular updates too. It felt strange entrusting our house and our boys to someone we’d only met for an hour or so before. It all worked out brilliantly. Ruiridh will certainly be our first choice in future.”
“First time I've ever left the dogs with anyone and I couldn't have chosen someone better. The girls had the best time, enjoyed walking and relaxing with David. I was kept up to date with photos too, which was lovely. Thank you. Will definitely be booking again.”

“Wow, we were so lucky to have found Ilona, she was the perfect person to look after our border collie, Ben. We rescued him recently and so he is quite needy and yet Ilona took everything in her stride and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. She knew exactly what Ben needed, especially in the crazy heatwave, and I would 100% recommend her to anyone to look after your dog(s). She responded very quickly to my booking request and was clear about timings and was so reliable and very trustworthy. She also kept us updated with photos and took him for walkies in the woods as it was shaded.”

About: I trained me Sprocker Spaniel who is still a puppy. This involved basic commands and recall. He is well behaved, well socialised and a happy dog :) I run my own business so have good flexibility during the week and at weekends. I won't be out for more than 3 to 4 hours and I can walk, feed and socialise them inbetween. I will be there to look over them most of the day..I may leave for 3 to 4 hours but will make sure they've been walked and fed before so.
“As a first time for having someone other than family look after our dog Bailey, I was a little nervous/anxious about the whole thing. But from our first meeting to the end of the actual booking I have been so impressed by India, I honestly have nothing but praise and gratitude for her. Bailey absolutely loves her, India has a caring warmth about her which which radiates. We were away through the heat wave and India kept us fully updated, she even brought her own cooling mat to help Bailey whilst also conversing with us if there was anything we usually do to keep Bailey cool. We were sent photos and given updates and knew we could contact India if we had any cocerns. India left our home exactly how she found it and it was great to come home and not worry about cleaning or stripping beds as India had done it for the room she stayed in. We can not recommend India enough and would be more than happy to book her again if we manage to get away! Thank you India x”

“George was really understanding about Phoebe's delicate nature, and loved and looked after her as I would do. He is an excellent house guest, and I would highly recommend him. I shall be booking George again when I next go away.”

“Many thanks to Kyal for a super house and dog sit. Great communications and photos, house left clean and tidy and bedding washed and very happy dogs here when I got back. I find Kyal reliable and polite and he is obviously a dog lover. I hope Kyal will be available to do future bookings for me.”

About: I always had dogs during my childhood but work has stopped this happening during adulthood. Since becoming self employed and working from home my wife and I were able to get Ringo where we are most happy spending time all together either on walks or being lazy at home. We live on 2nd floor so guests need to be good with stairs and as there are communal areas we need all guests to be very well house trained in all situations. If sending a request or enquiry please ensure your dog profile is complete so that we have all the information to decide suitability. We look forward to meeting any new friends on walks, drop in visits or joining us at home. We will see you soon.
