Cara always goes above and beyond, and this time came to our rescue when I stupidly forgot to leave a house key out for her to gain access, which I am so very grateful for. Our house is always left very clean and tidy, and the dogs enjoy her company, we highly recommend her. Thank you Cara for another great sit.”

About: Having had a number of pets my entire life, (hamsters, fish, dogs!), my love for animals has been such a huge part of my existence. This has continued into adulthood, with my family having a litter of puppies which we took care of, living with my partner who has cats and dogs and enjoying caring for both our families pets as well as friends and extended family. House and pet sitting is something I have continued to grow over the last year, having been to many different countries, I have used Trusted Housesitters whilst living in Australia, building up a number of reviews and experiences with cats and dogs, both senior and medicated to young and energetic! Primarily outside of family animal care, all pet sitting I have done has been day and night care, boarding and daily check ins. I am an avid walker and garden lover, and enjoy spending my days reading, exercising and in the sunshine. I enjoy looking after pets this way as we get to spend ample time together and it is hugely beneficial to both of us. I am primarily based in Shrewsbury and am open to pet sitting of all ages and breed. I am currently working part time (remote work) so I am freely available on my days off or am available even on working days as I can bring my work with me! I am an avid walker and available to schedule sits around my working commitments as they are flexible. I am also fully available on weekends. I will always stick to the requirements of pet owners when offering a service at a pet owners home. I always try to stick to the pets routine, where possible, including feeding, medication and walking (if needed) routines. If the garden is safe for use for pet play then this will be a great space to use, if animal care needs to be outside of the house this is also taken into account. I always strive to maintain morning and evening routines and care with regular toilet breaks, bedtime routines and sticking with bedtime rules (such as where the pet sleeps). For overnight sits I am more than happy if the pet sleeps on the bed - whatever the pets preference I am happy with! For dog walking services, I will always respect lead use unless specified by owner specifically, it is my duty that the pet is returned safe and sound so my preference is always to remain on the lead unless specified by owner

“Kyal was amazing with our cocker, Finn. Finn has separation anxiety, but Kyal and he got on really well, for Kyal it’s all about making sure the dog is happy. He took photos of their walks and mapped the walks too. When we got home Finn was a happy boy and was completely comfortable with Kyal. I can’t thank him enough or recommend him highly enough.”

She kept in contact, sent lots of photos and videos! When we returned the house was spotless she had even washed all the bedding out of her room etc. Arlo was sad to see her go, I cannot recommend her enough!! About: Ben and I love dogs so much! We’ve been dog sitting since 2019 (though new to Rover!). Your pets will be treated like our own - completely spoilt with fusses, playing and big walks. We work from home and walk our dog twice a day for an hour each time (though can also take them separately if a less active walk is preffered). We have an enclosed garden filled with dog toys for them to roam freely and just have infinite love and patience for our doggy friends. Stick throwing, river paddles and lots of cuddles can be expected. We also love cats (I grew up with 6 - 3 at my mums and 3 at my dad’s) so really happy to do visits for either or sit in your home to keep them company. We’re flexible, reliable and responsible. We bought our house in Falmouth last year so very much here to stay and can be a holiday home for your dog or a reoccurring sitter as it suits you. We work remotely so can spend time with nervous doggies in their own homes to make them as comfortable as possible or keep cats company during the day too. We can have dogs with us (as long as they get on with ours) overnights or just for the day and can do walks as well. Our home is very dog friendly with dogs allowed on sofas and beds. We also really don’t mind sandy or muddy paws. Dogs come first in our house!

About: I’ve been an avid pet lover since childhood. I have volunteered for years at adoption days, shelters, and have taken care of many dogs at home! I am also happy to work on training with your pets. I am currently a student looking for some work on the side. I am always free to help Saturdays (Sundays I dedicate to volunteering at the shelter). But weekdays I would be free early mornings for walks and also evenings! I have no dogs at home currently so If your fur baby gets nervous, it would be an ideal location. I am also able to care for multiple dogs at a time in your home.

About: I’m a marine biology student who misses her black lab from home, lots of experience looking after friends dogs for extended periods of time. I’ve just finished my degree and am now working part time. I am home during the day most days and am flexible in my availability. I have a fenced garden and no other dogs in the house. About: I’ve owned cats and dogs my whole life, I love a good walk as well as cuddles!!! I’ve also owned chickens and lizards so have some experience with other animals too. I study at Falmouth university but as a photography student I get a lot of free time for creating work so I am available almost everyday, I’m probably in uni for 2 days out the week overall I treat all animals with love and care. I always make sure pets are feed and are always happy. I will always play with any animal too!

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs my whole life. This included many different breeds with different temperaments, this is what started my love for dogs. I am a university student going into third year studying Geography. I have finished for the summer, so daytimes and nighttime’s are flexible for me. I am comfortable around any dog no matter the temperament, i can adapt to specifically fit your dogs needs and make sure they are comfortable.

About: Worked with dogs in the Singapore zoo, with an adoption programme with local SPCA to help rescues to get adopted and running an educational talks about adopting pets instead of buying them. Have experience in training dogs for obedience, but also fun tricks and sniffing out pythons the zoo as it’s located in a forest. Very good with senior dogs, have also worked in various shelters. I have also administered injection and oral medication for both cats and dogs. I’m currently working part-time 3 days a week, so am perfect for dog walking services or happy to take care of pets or do boarding! I love the outdoors and happy to go on adventure walks with dogs and offer lots of TLC! This can be happily adjusted for special needs or senior dogs too :) Able to give services to shower dogs and grooming if the dog will be alright with other people other than its owner doing so. Will be attentive, feeding schedule, walking schedule and also offer enrichment using treats to offer good stimulation so dogs will not be bored, and also plenty of rest as per each dog’s requirement

About: I have grown up surrounded by dogs through being close with family members and having two of my own. My experience includes elderly dogs, puppies, anxious and boisterous dogs of all sizes, one of which being an extremely anxious ex-racing greyhound of my own giving me a variety of skills in handling dogs. I am currently a student in college allowing me to have completely free weekends. I also have weekday availability with evenings, large midday breaks and late starting/early finishing days. I am easily adaptable to however your dog is normally looked after in their own environment, wether it is free reign of the house or use of a crate.

About: My mum had a full time pet grooming business growing up so from 13 years old I always wanted to step in and help wherever I could even if it was to give out treats, I love both cats and dogs and have been pet sitting both aswell as reptiles for 3 years, i can give oral medications if necessary and i’m confident with care for disabled animals who may need expressing etc. i have personal experience with deaf and blind animals. id love to help you out where possible for dogs and cats of any size, breed and temperament :) I sometimes work one day a week on a Sunday in the afternoon helping my mum with her dog grooming business if necessary so I have lots of time to give to other pets and I’m super flexible with notice! :) At the pet owner’s home I am more than happy to do walks as frequently as possible I’m a very active person so this is no problem! I’d love to make the sitting unique to each pet and owner and making notes to your specific routine is a must, my communication is very fast and you can contact at any time, I’m not afraid to contact you if I’m unsure on something.

About: I’ve always had pets growing up as a child, I have taken care of 4 dogs since I was 8. My love for them keeps growing with the years. I have taken care of any animal found abandoned on the street or badly treated, for me they all deserve care and love. I have volunteered at animal sanctuaries so I feel confident to take care of any sort of dog or cat. I am used to having lots of pets around, I love to walk them, cuddle, feed and bathe if needed. I am used to all sort of ages and breeds. I’m a freelance writer and I work mostly from home. I have plenty of flexibility and free time during the week. I share my house with my two friends who both adore animals and would give them much love. I miss my family dogs very much and taking care of your pet would make me so happy. I am always looking forward on spending some time with a four legged friend! I have a quiet backyard, it has a lovely shade and it’s very peaceful, so it is perfect for a day sitting. For the night I am happy to have your pet over unless it’s a big dog then I would prefer staying over at the owner’s home. I am very tidy and respectful, I will leave your house just as I have found it and I do believe the animal will feel safer being at their own home.
