Dog Walking Falmouth

About: Having had a number of pets my entire life, (hamsters, fish, dogs!), my love for animals has been such a huge part of my existence. This has continued into adulthood, with my family having a litter of puppies which we took care of, living with my partner who has cats and dogs and enjoying caring for both our families pets as well as friends and extended family. House and pet sitting is something I have continued to grow over the last year, having been to many different countries, I have used Trusted Housesitters whilst living in Australia, building up a number of reviews and experiences with cats and dogs, both senior and medicated to young and energetic! Primarily outside of family animal care, all pet sitting I have done has been day and night care, boarding and daily check ins. I am an avid walker and garden lover, and enjoy spending my days reading, exercising and in the sunshine. I enjoy looking after pets this way as we get to spend ample time together and it is hugely beneficial to both of us. I am primarily based in Shrewsbury and am open to pet sitting of all ages and breed. I am currently working part time (remote work) so I am freely available on my days off or am available even on working days as I can bring my work with me! I am an avid walker and available to schedule sits around my working commitments as they are flexible. I am also fully available on weekends. I will always stick to the requirements of pet owners when offering a service at a pet owners home. I always try to stick to the pets routine, where possible, including feeding, medication and walking (if needed) routines. If the garden is safe for use for pet play then this will be a great space to use, if animal care needs to be outside of the house this is also taken into account. I always strive to maintain morning and evening routines and care with regular toilet breaks, bedtime routines and sticking with bedtime rules (such as where the pet sleeps). For overnight sits I am more than happy if the pet sleeps on the bed - whatever the pets preference I am happy with! For dog walking services, I will always respect lead use unless specified by owner specifically, it is my duty that the pet is returned safe and sound so my preference is always to remain on the lead unless specified by owner

About: I’m a marine biology student who misses her black lab from home, lots of experience looking after friends dogs for extended periods of time. I’ve just finished my degree and am now working part time. I am home during the day most days and am flexible in my availability. I have a fenced garden and no other dogs in the house. I will listen to and stick to your instructions, caring for your dog the way you know is best!

About: Ben and I love dogs so much! We’ve been dog sitting since 2019 (though new to Rover!). Your pets will be treated like our own - completely spoilt with fusses, playing and big walks. We work from home and walk our dog twice a day for an hour each time (though can also take them separately if a less active walk is preffered). We have an enclosed garden filled with dog toys for them to roam freely and just have infinite love and patience for our doggy friends. Stick throwing, river paddles and lots of cuddles can be expected. We also love cats (I grew up with 6 - 3 at my mums and 3 at my dad’s) so really happy to do visits for either or sit in your home to keep them company. We’re flexible, reliable and responsible. We bought our house in Falmouth last year so very much here to stay and can be a holiday home for your dog or a reoccurring sitter as it suits you. We work remotely so can spend time with nervous doggies in their own homes to make them as comfortable as possible or keep cats company during the day too. We can have dogs with us (as long as they get on with ours) overnights or just for the day and can do walks as well. Our home is very dog friendly with dogs allowed on sofas and beds. We also really don’t mind sandy or muddy paws. Dogs come first in our house!

About: I have personal experience with giving pets medication/shots and high-anxiety dogs - my own dog is extremely anxious and I have found many ways to calm her. I have had a cat and a dog since I was 5 years old (a Bengal cat and a Hungarian Vizsla!) and have been surrounded by lots of different animals through my friends and family. I am currently doing an internship, but I can do this remotely, so I can work from anywhere at any time! I enjoy walking especially in different areas of cornwall and going to the beach and swimming - I am trying to do this at least once a week throughout the whole year! I am a very loving person who will happily play and cuddle your animal (if it is comfortable). I am also very flexible in energy levels - I can easily be both high energy and low energy depending on what the specific animal wants and what it is best for it :)

About: I grew up in a cat household, which means I spent the first part of my life being quietly judged by animals who refused to fetch anything. Then a few years ago I got a labradoodle puppy and switched sides for good. My current schedule doesn't suit having a dog of my own, so I get my fix by walking other people's. I've looked after dogs at both ends of the temperament spectrum: several years with an anxious pup who taught me patience and compassion are non-negotiable, and regular walks with my sister's spaniel, who operates at exactly one speed (fast, chaotic, delighted). I'm based in Falmouth. Reliable, attentive, and I'll send you a photo update so you know your dog had a good time. I work freelance, often from home, so my schedule is usually pretty flexible. I'm always keen to get away from my desk and explore somewhere green - ideal for dog walking! I'm happy to come and care for your pet in your house and make sure it's well looked after and receiving some surrogate love

About: I’ve lived with cats my whole life, from strays to kittens, at one point we had seven ! I also have experience house sitting, baby sitting and dog sitting. I’m currently back from travelling and searching for a more permanent job so I can completely work around any schedule needed. I’m happy to cover hours during the day, walks, or overnight stays ! I only offer services currently out of my own home as we have a cat and a tortoise that would be particularly against a canine visitor ! About: Worked with dogs in the Singapore zoo, with an adoption programme with local SPCA to help rescues to get adopted and running an educational talks about adopting pets instead of buying them. Have experience in training dogs for obedience, but also fun tricks and sniffing out pythons the zoo as it’s located in a forest. Very good with senior dogs, have also worked in various shelters. I have also administered injection and oral medication for both cats and dogs. I’m currently working part-time 3 days a week, so am perfect for dog walking services or happy to take care of pets or do boarding! I love the outdoors and happy to go on adventure walks with dogs and offer lots of TLC! This can be happily adjusted for special needs or senior dogs too :) Able to give services to shower dogs and grooming if the dog will be alright with other people other than its owner doing so. Will be attentive, feeding schedule, walking schedule and also offer enrichment using treats to offer good stimulation so dogs will not be bored, and also plenty of rest as per each dog’s requirement

About: I’ve always had pets growing up as a child, I have taken care of 4 dogs since I was 8. My love for them keeps growing with the years. I have taken care of any animal found abandoned on the street or badly treated, for me they all deserve care and love. I have volunteered at animal sanctuaries so I feel confident to take care of any sort of dog or cat. I am used to having lots of pets around, I love to walk them, cuddle, feed and bathe if needed. I am used to all sort of ages and breeds. I’m a freelance writer and I work mostly from home. I have plenty of flexibility and free time during the week. I share my house with my two friends who both adore animals and would give them much love. I miss my family dogs very much and taking care of your pet would make me so happy. I am always looking forward on spending some time with a four legged friend! I have a quiet backyard, it has a lovely shade and it’s very peaceful, so it is perfect for a day sitting. For the night I am happy to have your pet over unless it’s a big dog then I would prefer staying over at the owner’s home. I am very tidy and respectful, I will leave your house just as I have found it and I do believe the animal will feel safer being at their own home.

About: I’ve owned cats and dogs my whole life, I love a good walk as well as cuddles!!! I’ve also owned chickens and lizards so have some experience with other animals too. I study at Falmouth university but as a photography student I get a lot of free time for creating work so I am available almost everyday, I’m probably in uni for 2 days out the week overall I treat all animals with love and care. I always make sure pets are feed and are always happy. I will always play with any animal too!

About: I have been a dog walker for pets in my neighbourhood for about 3 years since I was 13 and I have work experience at a local dog groomers. I am very passionate about animal care, having always spent time around horses and with my own dog at home. I am a full time student so my timetable varies but is pretty flexible at the moment:) I can usually sort out my uni work around other work so would be available most of the time ! When my dog stays with me, he has plenty of space inside and our large back garden which is fenced off is perfect for pets. I live close to the beach which is perfect for dog walks.

About: I've always had pets for as-long as i can remember, cats when i was a newborn living on a boat, then whilst growing up.. a goldfish, then a hamster, 4 guinea pigs and for the past 10 years, my dog. So far I have cared for 15 dogs and counting and look forward to each and every new one to both brighten my day and give them the most awesome break away from home they could hope for! My cousin also use-to own a big dog boarding business and my friends have had dogs and puppies so i have experience with many different dogs through many different stages of their life. My dog has long hair (Shih-tzu) so i have had to brush, comb and wash him many times, thus i have experience and can do this for your dog also if required. I mostly work from home, thus i am avaialble most of the time for dog boarding, walks, sitting etc. I have a flexible schedule around the work i do so i can be flexible to your requirements. I have a closed off yard for pee breaks outside of walk time, i have one friendly Shih-tzu, i can seperate or crate them etc if needed.

About: My own dog, who is now 10, is my pride of joy. My life revolves around looking after her and she truly is a family member to me. I have taught her all of her tricks and habits. I did get lucky with her intelligence but having looked after other peoples dogs I have worked to train them too with great success. I am a very patient person who brings a calm and inviting demeanour to dogs, becoming their comfort base when we are in busy areas. I absolutely adore getting the privilege to look after dogs and I treat them how I treat my own- like family. I have experience dealing with aggressive animals, oral medication, cleaning of wounds and infections, elderly and young pups. I am currently a University student at home for the holidays so am available every day. My schedule will revolve around the dogs and can accommodate your needs. I live in a safe neighbourhood with a fenced in garden and plenty of space for the pet to have free roam of the house. They are welcome on furniture including the bed, but if you would like them to remain crate-trained I can also easily accommodate that.

About: Experienced pet carer available for sitting, boarding and drop ins on Monday and Tuesdays - if you are looking for a regular and reliable sitter/walker look no further! I love animals, and regularly look after a nervous Cadoodle named Nia who I love taking on big walks and caring for. I also have experience with other dogs, cats (with diabetes) and chickens. I have administered injections and tablets to cats and dogs. I am flexible - I work a few (different) days a week, but otherwise I can play all day indoors or take them out for long stomps out in nature whatever your pupper or meow wants! I’ll be led by the dog/cat and their owner’s home first and foremost. I will listen to the animals needs and respond accordingly while upholding rules and training with them. I’ll feed, walk, and offer care and attention that suits you and your fur baby. I have experience with very anxious dogs, and experienced giving medication to cats and dogs.

About: We've always had rescue dogs, a bit on the nervous side but always super lovely, I've moved here for uni and would love to help out with dog walking or sitting. I've volunteered at dog rescue shelter and I've been helping people look after their dogs back in my home town of Falmouth ! Right now I'm studying at UvA with a flexible schedule to dog sit around! I also love cats and fostered a lovely cat last year, now I spend lots of time dog sitting my managers dog and helping my mum train her new foster dog! Now I'm not at University, I have a lot more free time and my only other commitment is part time working but I pick the hours so I can work around sitting/walking! I'm more than happy to do whatever the owner feels is best and safest for their pet as of course each dog is different and their needs will always vary, so whatever makes them feel most comfortable!
