One of our cats isn’t very well at the moment, and we were due to be away for six days, so we were really worried about leaving him. Matt was wonderful from start to finish. He came over before we left to meet both the boys and us, talked through everything he’d need to do, and then visited twice a day while we were away. He followed our instructions to the letter, made sure medications were given correctly, and sent regular photos and updates so we knew the cats were happy, comfortable, and getting plenty of cuddles. Everything was perfect when we got back, and it was such a relief knowing they had been so well looked after. We’ll absolutely be asking Matt to look after them again in the future. About: I have personal experience with giving pets medication/shots and high-anxiety dogs - my own dog is extremely anxious and I have found many ways to calm her. I have had a cat and a dog since I was 5 years old (a Bengal cat and a Hungarian Vizsla!) and have been surrounded by lots of different animals through my friends and family. I am currently doing an internship, but I can do this remotely, so I can work from anywhere at any time! I enjoy walking especially in different areas of cornwall and going to the beach and swimming - I am trying to do this at least once a week throughout the whole year! I am a very loving person who will happily play and cuddle your animal (if it is comfortable). I am also very flexible in energy levels - I can easily be both high energy and low energy depending on what the specific animal wants and what it is best for it :)

About: My family has always owned dogs so I have a lifetime of personal experience. I volunteered and multiple animal sanctuaries and zoos growing up and I worked for pets at home for more than three years where i specialized in dog care. I am available most days and weekends for any bookings and will normally be happy to take bookings on short notice. The safety of the pets come first and for that reason I would make sure to supervise them and if in the garden make sure its enclosed and has no open gates. I work part time and have a very flexible daily schedule. The best thing to do is contact me with the dates and times you require and I will do my best to accommodate. The safety of your pets is my top priority, on our walks I like to keep them on the lead untill in certain they will listen to commands from me.

About: Over the past few years, I have looked after a number of pets, walking and feeding them and monitoring them after visits to the vet. I work part-time, so I have plenty of time to look after pets. I love going on long walks, and I live near lots of green spaces that are very dog-friendly. I can't offer any pet sitting services at my own home but I am more than happy to come to you and very happy to take the pets in my car if necessary!

About: Hi! I'm Rhianna and I love animals. I have just moved back to Falmouth, and will be working from home full time. I had to move to Oxford for two years for work and, now I’m back looking for new clients. Regular or casual! Though regular is preferred if you are looking for someone to frequently walk / sit your pet friends. A little about me: I grew up on my family's very rural, solar-powered, Welsh mountain farm, where we have Welsh sheep, Highland cows, horses, ducks, doves, geese, chickens, Guinea fowl, a cat, oh... and nine working collie dogs, and two silly Scottish terriers. I've spent my entire life around animals, and feel like I am fully versed in knowing what they need. Family friends have said that I was, “raised by the dogs,” as my family were always busy working the farm, and the dogs were my mentors and play mates. I’ve been around dogs all of my life, and I had my first own dog, Floss, at four years old. She was a lassie collie x border collie and she was my best friend. I then had her son, Oslo, who grew up with me, lived with me during university, and also after when I moved onto a sailing boat. He was (I know we all think this!), without doubt, the best dog a girl could’ve wished for, and it broke my entire heart when I lost him to lymphoma in the summer of 2021. I miss his fluffy presence terribly, and as a way to fill the void I thought I’d put myself on Rover to see if anyone wants a trusted and fun dog walker. It turns out that they do and since I’ve started I have walked many many wonderful pups (of all breeds!), sat many lovely cats, met many kind owners, and have had a lot of fun. I go for lovely long walks, love and understand dogs, and am offering my services as a house sitter, and dog walker. Please read my ‘testimonials’ to have a glance at what other owners think of my services. Most of my clients come from word of mouth, and so by no means all the clients I’ve worked with have left reviews. At this point I’ve worked with over 50 pet owners, with all types of pets: dogs of all sizes, chickens, ducks, cats of all temperaments, fish, horses, and even a snake! Over the past 15 years or so, I have gained experience dog walking for a boarding kennels in Wales, training dogs (both on the farm for working, and for agility too), various house sitting experiences, at a riding stables in the Welsh mountains, an estancia in Patagonia de Chile, and a Polo ranch in Argentina! A couple of extras: Please state if your dog cannot go off the lead when booking. This isn’t a problem, but will help me to plan our day better. I'm tidy, prompt, trustworthy, and reliable. I will leave your house exactly as I found it, if not a little tidier. Your dogs will be taken for regular toilet breaks, on lovely walks to suit their fitness and age - and will be treated as if they are my own. I like to spend as much time as possible outdoors. I’m active and enjoy most water based sports, horse riding, and am happiest out and about with a lead, paddle, or reins in hand. I am also comfortable administering medication to your pets, both oral, eye drops, and if needed jabs. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me! I can tailor your dog’s walk to fit in with my day, and to maximise the activities I can do with your pet - just let me know a day or so advance so I can organise myself! Your animals will live by the same rules that you set for them in your home so that it is consistent. I don’t offer boarding (unless we get to know each other very well, and your dog is relatively small!).

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 14. I’ve dog sitted, walked neighbours dogs, and owned dogs myself. I have a great passion for the care of animals having previously worked on a farm for 3 years. I also love the outdoors and love to explore with dogs! I’m currently a student at Falmouth university and work on Saturdays so my availability varies. But worth popping a message to check if I’m free! With dogs I think it’s key to spend time to get to know them and learn how my care can meet there needs most. I find this builds a better relationship between myself and the dog and creates a more enjoyable experience for both. I will do a meet and greet with owners before caring for your pet so that I can gain trust and see how to best look after your dog!

About: I’m a zoology student missing my cocker spaniel at home and looking to help with walks or drop ins as available! I have volunteered since 14 in canine fields, up until recently where i helped out with cleaning, training and walking dogs of all varieties and temperaments. I am currently a student looking for some work on the side. I am always free to help Saturdays (Sundays I dedicate to volunteering at the shelter). But weekdays I would be free early mornings for walks and also evenings! I have no dogs at home currently so If your fur baby gets nervous, it would be an ideal location. I am also able to care for multiple dogs at a time in your home.

About: My whole life I’ve been surrounded by dogs, I even grew up with Irish wolfhounds, so know how to handle the larger breeds. I’m very reliable and have walked dogs for a long time, and due to my love for animals, I’ll enjoy walking your dog just as much as they will. Im currently working a part time job so have plenty of free time to walk and play with your pups! I would love to pursue dog walking as a full time job and therefore my availability is very flexible. I have a large, fenced, secure garden and will keep you dogs entertained in their favourite way. Whether that be playing fetch or cuddling up with tummy scratches!!

I have most of my experience with boxers, French and English bulldog puppies from birth. I currently study at uni, so have lots of free time for short and longer walks, especially during holidays and weekends. About: My mum had a full time pet grooming business growing up so from 13 years old I always wanted to step in and help wherever I could even if it was to give out treats, I love both cats and dogs and have been pet sitting both aswell as reptiles for 3 years, i can give oral medications if necessary and i’m confident with care for disabled animals who may need expressing etc. i have personal experience with deaf and blind animals. id love to help you out where possible for dogs and cats of any size, breed and temperament :) I sometimes work one day a week on a Sunday in the afternoon helping my mum with her dog grooming business if necessary so I have lots of time to give to other pets and I’m super flexible with notice! :) At the pet owner’s home I am more than happy to do walks as frequently as possible I’m a very active person so this is no problem! I’d love to make the sitting unique to each pet and owner and making notes to your specific routine is a must, my communication is very fast and you can contact at any time, I’m not afraid to contact you if I’m unsure on something.

About: I moved to Cornwall for university and soon found the passion for surfing. I now live in Cornwall and have been looking after dogs for several years now. Moving to Cornwall on my own has made me very independent, but also very flexible. Which means pet care fits easily into my day to day routine. I have a few small jobs that I can schedule around the dog sitting, so I'm able to give pets plenty of time and attention. I thrive on having a routine and living an active, healthy lifestyle. When looking after pets. I understand how important routine is, including regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention, especially as different breeds have different needs. With my active lifestyle, i genuinely enjoy walks, runs, and spending time outdoors, so keeping dogs happy and exercised comes naturally to me. When I'm caring for pets in their own home, I'm always respectful, tidy and minimal, making sure everything is kept just as the owners expect.

About: I have 10 years experience, caring for various different breeds and behaviours, for family, co-workers and friends. I have previously volunteered at my local animal shelter within the cotswolds and have attended puppy training sessions in the past with my own lovely Cavachon Polly. I am currently studying at Falmouth University and have alot of free time during the week/weekends. I am extremely flexible and am more than happy with any last minute requests. Unfortunately I am unable to offer overnight stays within my own home, however I am open to day trips! I have a large garden with lots of space for them to run around which is fully gated.
