“Wow I was so impressed with Mads!! From the get go it was clear she was the right person to take care of my baby while I was away!! Lots of pertinent questions when we first met and great communication while I was away! Upon my return it was so clear that lady had the best time staying with her, with lots of walks and having fun on the beach! Mads is so friendly and great, clearly a massive dog lover and if I ever need to head away again she'll be my first choice 100% Thank you again for everything!!”

“We were initially nervous as have never left Cobo with anyone but family before. Ellie was great with him and kept me updated throughout first day. When it came to second day he couldn't wait to go into house with her, both she and Ben have been amazing with him. We would unreservedly recommend them and will use them again. Thank you guys x”

I'm more than happy to do whatever the owner feels is best and safest for their pet as of course each dog is different and their needs will always vary, so whatever makes them feel most comfortable!

About: Having lived with a family cat for 3 years now, I have gained immense knowledge of cats and their needs and desires and their special characters! This was great experience for taking on Trsusted Housesitters sits whilst travelling Australia, we regularly did holiday sits for owners away for 2+ weeks feeding, (medicating where needed) and playing with them when they wanted. I am experienced in both outdoor and indoor cats.

“Everything was so easy with Skye. She took great care of Joey and Jasper and sent me lots of lovely updates and photos so I felt totally at ease to leave them with her. She's very responsive to messages so I wouldn't hesitate to ask her to look after my boys again next time I go away. Thanks so much Skye 🙏🏽”

About: I grew up with six cats so have been around them my whole life!! I had three at my mums and three at my dad’s and just love them in all their silly, sassy glory. My partner Ben also loves cats and between us your furry family members will be truly spoilt!

About: Where to start? I love cats. I respect their boundaries, appreciate their playfulness, and am always ready for a hug or for them to make some biscuits. I’ve had cats since I was little, and have professionally cat sat a couples’ kitties for an entire year in their own home. I have trained cats (yes you’ve read that right) to do various tricks, and have completed regular drop ins for people requiring feeding, or socialising.
About: I’ve been an avid pet lover since childhood. I have volunteered for years at adoption days, shelters, and have taken care of many dogs at home! I am also happy to work on training with your pets. I am currently a student looking for some work on the side. I am always free to help Saturdays (Sundays I dedicate to volunteering at the shelter). But weekdays I would be free early mornings for walks and also evenings! I have no dogs at home currently so If your fur baby gets nervous, it would be an ideal location. I am also able to care for multiple dogs at a time in your home.
About: My family has always owned dogs so I have a lifetime of personal experience. I volunteered and multiple animal sanctuaries and zoos growing up and I worked for pets at home for more than three years where i specialized in dog care. I am available most days and weekends for any bookings and will normally be happy to take bookings on short notice. The safety of the pets come first and for that reason I would make sure to supervise them and if in the garden make sure its enclosed and has no open gates. I work part time and have a very flexible daily schedule. The best thing to do is contact me with the dates and times you require and I will do my best to accommodate. The safety of your pets is my top priority, on our walks I like to keep them on the lead untill in certain they will listen to commands from me.

About: While I’ve never owned a cat, my grandma has always had multiple cats at a time and I really enjoy spending time with them. I recently took care of them while she was in hospital. I also had work experience at my local vets when I was 15, where i cleaned and prepared enclosures and food/drinking bowls. I’ve had a variety of other pets throughout my life and understand that every animal is different. The most important thing to me when working with cats specifically is being gentle and respectful of their personal space.
About: I’ve owned cats and dogs my whole life, I love a good walk as well as cuddles!!! I’ve also owned chickens and lizards so have some experience with other animals too. I study at Falmouth university but as a photography student I get a lot of free time for creating work so I am available almost everyday, I’m probably in uni for 2 days out the week overall I treat all animals with love and care. I always make sure pets are feed and are always happy. I will always play with any animal too!
“Poppy has been fantastic with our 5-month old puppy, Nala. This has been Nala’s first period alone for longer durations and Poppy has been instrumental in making this transition as smooth as possible. Poppy has been very flexible with availability which has helped out massively in tight spots and has kept up some of the training and exercise we do with Nala. We always come home to a very happy pup! Thank you again, Poppy!!”

About: I am a qualified teacher with lots of experience in the care industry too. I love the sea, being creative and my cat Squeak who is 13 years old. I have grown up with cats and have one of my own who is a valued family member. I currently have a lot of availability as I’m taking time out of working due to health issues, but I very much enjoy doing this and I also set up and run Cornwall Endo Cafe which supports other women with endometriosis. I am responsible and reliable, if I’m looking after your cat I will go above and beyond to ensure they are safe, well, happy and fed. I drove to Carbis Bay from Falmouth on Christmas Eve once to pick up a spare key as we’d been accidentally locked out! If I’m looking after them, I’m looking after them as I’d want my own cat to be cared for.
About: I moved to Cornwall for university and soon found the passion for surfing. I now live in Cornwall and have been looking after dogs for several years now. Moving to Cornwall on my own has made me very independent, but also very flexible. Which means pet care fits easily into my day to day routine. I have a few small jobs that I can schedule around the dog sitting, so I'm able to give pets plenty of time and attention. I thrive on having a routine and living an active, healthy lifestyle. When looking after pets. I understand how important routine is, including regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention, especially as different breeds have different needs. With my active lifestyle, i genuinely enjoy walks, runs, and spending time outdoors, so keeping dogs happy and exercised comes naturally to me. When I'm caring for pets in their own home, I'm always respectful, tidy and minimal, making sure everything is kept just as the owners expect.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 14. I’ve dog sitted, walked neighbours dogs, and owned dogs myself. I have a great passion for the care of animals having previously worked on a farm for 3 years. I also love the outdoors and love to explore with dogs! I’m currently a student at Falmouth university and work on Saturdays so my availability varies. But worth popping a message to check if I’m free! With dogs I think it’s key to spend time to get to know them and learn how my care can meet there needs most. I find this builds a better relationship between myself and the dog and creates a more enjoyable experience for both. I will do a meet and greet with owners before caring for your pet so that I can gain trust and see how to best look after your dog!

About: At 8 I rescued a kitten from the road, and got my gran to adopt her as we already had 3 dogs at home. I have always loved feeding and taking care of strays, helping my neighbours look and friends with their cat and I have now done a few cat sitting on Rover too as I’ve started using in almost 3 years ago. I’d be so happy to look after your beautiful four legged fury friend and I promise I will give them as much love as if they were with you.

About: Hi! I'm Rhianna and I love animals. I have just moved back to Falmouth, and will be working from home full time. I had to move to Oxford for two years for work and, now I’m back looking for new clients. Regular or casual! Though regular is preferred if you are looking for someone to frequently walk / sit your pet friends. A little about me: I grew up on my family's very rural, solar-powered, Welsh mountain farm, where we have Welsh sheep, Highland cows, horses, ducks, doves, geese, chickens, Guinea fowl, a cat, oh... and nine working collie dogs, and two silly Scottish terriers. I've spent my entire life around animals, and feel like I am fully versed in knowing what they need. Family friends have said that I was, “raised by the dogs,” as my family were always busy working the farm, and the dogs were my mentors and play mates. I’ve been around dogs all of my life, and I had my first own dog, Floss, at four years old. She was a lassie collie x border collie and she was my best friend. I then had her son, Oslo, who grew up with me, lived with me during university, and also after when I moved onto a sailing boat. He was (I know we all think this!), without doubt, the best dog a girl could’ve wished for, and it broke my entire heart when I lost him to lymphoma in the summer of 2021. I miss his fluffy presence terribly, and as a way to fill the void I thought I’d put myself on Rover to see if anyone wants a trusted and fun dog walker. It turns out that they do and since I’ve started I have walked many many wonderful pups (of all breeds!), sat many lovely cats, met many kind owners, and have had a lot of fun. I go for lovely long walks, love and understand dogs, and am offering my services as a house sitter, and dog walker. Please read my ‘testimonials’ to have a glance at what other owners think of my services. Most of my clients come from word of mouth, and so by no means all the clients I’ve worked with have left reviews. At this point I’ve worked with over 50 pet owners, with all types of pets: dogs of all sizes, chickens, ducks, cats of all temperaments, fish, horses, and even a snake! Over the past 15 years or so, I have gained experience dog walking for a boarding kennels in Wales, training dogs (both on the farm for working, and for agility too), various house sitting experiences, at a riding stables in the Welsh mountains, an estancia in Patagonia de Chile, and a Polo ranch in Argentina! A couple of extras: Please state if your dog cannot go off the lead when booking. This isn’t a problem, but will help me to plan our day better. I'm tidy, prompt, trustworthy, and reliable. I will leave your house exactly as I found it, if not a little tidier. Your dogs will be taken for regular toilet breaks, on lovely walks to suit their fitness and age - and will be treated as if they are my own. I like to spend as much time as possible outdoors. I’m active and enjoy most water based sports, horse riding, and am happiest out and about with a lead, paddle, or reins in hand. I am also comfortable administering medication to your pets, both oral, eye drops, and if needed jabs. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me! I can tailor your dog’s walk to fit in with my day, and to maximise the activities I can do with your pet - just let me know a day or so advance so I can organise myself! Your animals will live by the same rules that you set for them in your home so that it is consistent. I don’t offer boarding (unless we get to know each other very well, and your dog is relatively small!).
About: Ben and I love dogs so much! We’ve been dog sitting since 2019 (though new to Rover!). Your pets will be treated like our own - completely spoilt with fusses, playing and big walks. We work from home and walk our dog twice a day for an hour each time (though can also take them separately if a less active walk is preffered). We have an enclosed garden filled with dog toys for them to roam freely and just have infinite love and patience for our doggy friends. Stick throwing, river paddles and lots of cuddles can be expected. We also love cats (I grew up with 6 - 3 at my mums and 3 at my dad’s) so really happy to do visits for either or sit in your home to keep them company. We’re flexible, reliable and responsible. We bought our house in Falmouth last year so very much here to stay and can be a holiday home for your dog or a reoccurring sitter as it suits you. We work remotely so can spend time with nervous doggies in their own homes to make them as comfortable as possible or keep cats company during the day too. We can have dogs with us (as long as they get on with ours) overnights or just for the day and can do walks as well. Our home is very dog friendly with dogs allowed on sofas and beds. We also really don’t mind sandy or muddy paws. Dogs come first in our house!

“Kyal, was absolutely fabulous with our labradoodle Milo whom he looked after whilst we attended our daughters graduation. He took him for a long walk along the coast line to Flushing beach and sent wonderful pictures of their time together. Milo even had a dip in the sea . He had so much fun that he slept as soon as we got home. Thanks for taking care of Milo Kyal.”

“Katie was so great with both me and Watson! It was my first time booking with Rover and she was really helpful in supporting me to book and with enquiries. Watson is usually a bit anxious with new people and when I leave him, but when I picked him up he was flat out asleep on the sofa with Katie's housemates and seemed completely comfortable. I am delighted and would definitely ask Katie to watch Watson again in future.”

I am comfortable around any dog no matter the temperament, i can adapt to specifically fit your dogs needs and make sure they are comfortable.

I love the outdoors and happy to go on adventure walks with dogs and offer lots of TLC! About: I grew up on a farm, surrounded by animals. I have owned dogs for many years, and trained my male Chocolate lab in obedience and agility and competed. I then got a female Rottweiler a few years later as a companion, who also I trained and did agility- but no competitions. After a few years without them, I got a shihtzu- moving to a small breed was very different- but amazing. Did some agility for fun only, she moved abroad with me - so I care for animals wholeheartedly. I groom her myself. I am an experienced handler and pet owner, who loves dogs all shapes and sizes. I am not working in August and part time from September, although can work from home. Therefore I am flexible with arrangements and ensure I am not away more than a few hours. I have a fenced in front garden, that is secure, as well as plenty of walkable routes around my home. I have a car to go for beach or woods walks.
“Five starts are just not enough! Alison provided a perfect day for Jasper. When we dropped him off for his first day care stay he was immediately relaxed and happy for us to leave him. Alison sent us photos during the day and it was clear to see Jasper was having a great time, Thank you so much Alison for your reassurance that all was well as it meant we could relax and enjoy our day out too! We are already planning our next trip away knowing Jasper is in safe hands.”

About: Having had a number of pets my entire life, (hamsters, fish, dogs!), my love for animals has been such a huge part of my existence. This has continued into adulthood, with my family having a litter of puppies which we took care of, living with my partner who has cats and dogs and enjoying caring for both our families pets as well as friends and extended family. House and pet sitting is something I have continued to grow over the last year, having been to many different countries, I have used Trusted Housesitters whilst living in Australia, building up a number of reviews and experiences with cats and dogs, both senior and medicated to young and energetic! Primarily outside of family animal care, all pet sitting I have done has been day and night care, boarding and daily check ins. I am an avid walker and garden lover, and enjoy spending my days reading, exercising and in the sunshine. I enjoy looking after pets this way as we get to spend ample time together and it is hugely beneficial to both of us. I am primarily based in Shrewsbury and am open to pet sitting of all ages and breed. I am currently working part time (remote work) so I am freely available on my days off or am available even on working days as I can bring my work with me! I am an avid walker and available to schedule sits around my working commitments as they are flexible. I am also fully available on weekends. I will always stick to the requirements of pet owners when offering a service at a pet owners home. I always try to stick to the pets routine, where possible, including feeding, medication and walking (if needed) routines. If the garden is safe for use for pet play then this will be a great space to use, if animal care needs to be outside of the house this is also taken into account. I always strive to maintain morning and evening routines and care with regular toilet breaks, bedtime routines and sticking with bedtime rules (such as where the pet sleeps). For overnight sits I am more than happy if the pet sleeps on the bed - whatever the pets preference I am happy with! For dog walking services, I will always respect lead use unless specified by owner specifically, it is my duty that the pet is returned safe and sound so my preference is always to remain on the lead unless specified by owner

About: I have personal experience with giving pets medication/shots and high-anxiety dogs - my own dog is extremely anxious and I have found many ways to calm her. I have had a cat and a dog since I was 5 years old (a Bengal cat and a Hungarian Vizsla!) and have been surrounded by lots of different animals through my friends and family. I am currently doing an internship, but I can do this remotely, so I can work from anywhere at any time! I enjoy walking especially in different areas of cornwall and going to the beach and swimming - I am trying to do this at least once a week throughout the whole year! I am a very loving person who will happily play and cuddle your animal (if it is comfortable). I am also very flexible in energy levels - I can easily be both high energy and low energy depending on what the specific animal wants and what it is best for it :)
About: I grew up in a cat household, which means I spent the first part of my life being quietly judged by animals who refused to fetch anything. Then a few years ago I got a labradoodle puppy and switched sides for good. My current schedule doesn't suit having a dog of my own, so I get my fix by walking other people's. I've looked after dogs at both ends of the temperament spectrum: several years with an anxious pup who taught me patience and compassion are non-negotiable, and regular walks with my sister's spaniel, who operates at exactly one speed (fast, chaotic, delighted). I'm based in Falmouth. Reliable, attentive, and I'll send you a photo update so you know your dog had a good time. I work freelance, often from home, so my schedule is usually pretty flexible. I'm always keen to get away from my desk and explore somewhere green - ideal for dog walking! I'm happy to come and care for your pet in your house and make sure it's well looked after and receiving some surrogate love
About: Worked with dogs in the Singapore zoo, with an adoption programme with local SPCA to help rescues to get adopted and running an educational talks about adopting pets instead of buying them. Have experience in training dogs for obedience, but also fun tricks and sniffing out pythons the zoo as it’s located in a forest. Very good with senior dogs, have also worked in various shelters. I have also administered injection and oral medication for both cats and dogs. I’m currently working part-time 3 days a week, so am perfect for dog walking services or happy to take care of pets or do boarding! I love the outdoors and happy to go on adventure walks with dogs and offer lots of TLC! This can be happily adjusted for special needs or senior dogs too :) Able to give services to shower dogs and grooming if the dog will be alright with other people other than its owner doing so. Will be attentive, feeding schedule, walking schedule and also offer enrichment using treats to offer good stimulation so dogs will not be bored, and also plenty of rest as per each dog’s requirement

About: I have been a Great Dane owner since I was 8 years old. As a child I was always involved in training and walking my dog. I also grew up with my grandma’s Shih Tzu’s, and I recently took care of her dogs and cats while she was in hospital. I have spent most of my life researching every type of dog - I can care for a dog of any size and temperament! Additionally, I had work experience at my local vet when I was 15, where I trained to clean and prepare enclosures and food/water bowls. I am available to care for pets every day from 11am until 10pm. My schedule will likely be the same for at least the next 2 months. I have a lot of experience with animals, but the most important thing to me is following the routine and training that your pet is used to. I can follow any instructions in order to take care of your pet, but if you don’t have a set routine or instructions then I’m still more than happy to care for your pet and give them all my attention. When walking dogs, I will keep them on a lead at all times unless specified otherwise. I am always open to feedback and am also happy to offer advice if requested.
“Ruby was great. She came for a meet and greet before the day. My nervous large dog was fine with her as she has a very calm nature. She walked them and dried them off. Very caring. I would use Ruby again.”

About: I’ve always had pets growing up as a child, I have taken care of 4 dogs since I was 8. My love for them keeps growing with the years. I have taken care of any animal found abandoned on the street or badly treated, for me they all deserve care and love. I have volunteered at animal sanctuaries so I feel confident to take care of any sort of dog or cat. I am used to having lots of pets around, I love to walk them, cuddle, feed and bathe if needed. I am used to all sort of ages and breeds. I’m a freelance writer and I work mostly from home. I have plenty of flexibility and free time during the week. I share my house with my two friends who both adore animals and would give them much love. I miss my family dogs very much and taking care of your pet would make me so happy. I am always looking forward on spending some time with a four legged friend! I have a quiet backyard, it has a lovely shade and it’s very peaceful, so it is perfect for a day sitting. For the night I am happy to have your pet over unless it’s a big dog then I would prefer staying over at the owner’s home. I am very tidy and respectful, I will leave your house just as I have found it and I do believe the animal will feel safer being at their own home.

About: My own dog, who is now 10, is my pride of joy. My life revolves around looking after her and she truly is a family member to me. I have taught her all of her tricks and habits. I did get lucky with her intelligence but having looked after other peoples dogs I have worked to train them too with great success. I am a very patient person who brings a calm and inviting demeanour to dogs, becoming their comfort base when we are in busy areas. I absolutely adore getting the privilege to look after dogs and I treat them how I treat my own- like family. I have experience dealing with aggressive animals, oral medication, cleaning of wounds and infections, elderly and young pups. I am currently a University student at home for the holidays so am available every day. My schedule will revolve around the dogs and can accommodate your needs. I live in a safe neighbourhood with a fenced in garden and plenty of space for the pet to have free roam of the house. They are welcome on furniture including the bed, but if you would like them to remain crate-trained I can also easily accommodate that.

“Monika is the first person to ever look after Monty and it was his first time not staying at our house. We were nervous about how he would be but it’s very obvious that he had a fantastic time away! She kept us very informed on how he was doing and I think the chance to spend time with another bigger dog in the house has really improved his behaviour. Super happy with the whole experience and would absolutely recommend Monika to look after your pup!”

“Tabitha was super sweet and very chilled. We dropped our frenchie, Beanz with her for a couple days whilst we were at a wedding and Beanz seemed to have a great time - she came back exhausted which is always a good sign 😂 thanks so much Tabitha - really appreciated your flexibility and all round relaxed approach made the whole thing very easy.”
