About: Hi, I’m Allana, a 27 year old animal lover based just outside of Newquay. I’ve grown up caring for animals, including several fosterer dogs, Im absolutely passionate about cats and have had horses, guinea pigs and rabbits all my life, caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I have one dog and two cats, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets — they’re family. I’m DBS checked, reliable, and calm around animals, including those that may be nervous or need a little extra patience. Whether it’s walks or drop-ins, I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m happy to follow routines, administer basic care, and give regular updates with photos for peace of mind. Feel free to message me with any questions — I’d love to meet your pets! Pet care is already a big part of my daily life as I have my own dog and two cats, so I’m used to planning my day around feeding times, walks, and giving them attention. I have a flexible routine, which means I can easily fit in dog walks, drop-in visits, or spending time with pets throughout the day. I’m happy to stick to your pet’s usual routine to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible for them. Whether it’s morning visits, midday check-ins, or evening care, I’m reliable and will make sure your pets are well looked after and not left alone for long periods. I provide pet care in your home so your pets can stay comfortable and relaxed in their own familiar environment,I’ll follow their usual routines for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs they have. I’m calm, patient, and attentive, making sure pets feel safe and happy while you’re away, I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing they’re well cared for.
“I had never left my Chiku with anyone before and I was scared, but Gina and her husband took such good care of our dog, they were also superb with us even though we were late in dropping him off. They took him out for a walk as well! They were just amazing!”

About: Dog-lover, cat-lover, general pet lover. I live in a big house in Falmouth with a few friends, with a decently big enclosed garden. First time doing this but so excited! Im often at home, or out and about- I teach several surf lessons a week and work remotely the rest of the time- am always outside and always up for taking the dog for a walk or giving it a cuddle on the sofa. I tend to be up around 7:30ish in the morning. We are able to leave the garden open whenever we want as it is totally enclosed. I have a relatively large enclosed grass garden. Pets allowed on sofas. We’re very relaxed - it’s a very clean and tidy but well lived-in house. Always people at home. Having a dog is a dream of mine but I can’t get one because I don’t know my long term plans, so this is a perfect compromise!

“Monika is the first person to ever look after Monty and it was his first time not staying at our house. We were nervous about how he would be but it’s very obvious that he had a fantastic time away! She kept us very informed on how he was doing and I think the chance to spend time with another bigger dog in the house has really improved his behaviour. Super happy with the whole experience and would absolutely recommend Monika to look after your pup!”

About: Growing up, we always had dogs at home, so I truly understand that dogs are family. Since joining Rover, I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs, including elderly dogs, nervous or anxious dogs, energetic puppies, and dogs that need medication. I’ll always treat your dog as if they were my own - with lots of love, care, and attention to their individual needs and personality. For new clients, I’ll always ensure to set up a meet & greet prior to accepting the booking, to make sure we are a good fit for each other. I work full-time in a 9–5pm office job, but I do have the flexibility to work from home. For boarding / day care and house sitting bookings, I’ll work remotely from home for the duration of the stay, so your pets will have company throughout the day. I’m also available to walk them before or after work, and/or during my lunch break. For dog walking and drop-in visits, I can usually fit these in quite easily around my work schedule - especially if you’re very local to me! Please note: some bookings may require me to put a request in with my manager to work from home. These are almost always approved, but on occasion I may be required to go into the office. For that reason, there may be some booking requests I have to decline. I’ll always double check my availability and confirm with you before accepting a booking. My rates are based on the assumption that your dog is comfortable being left for occasional short periods (e.g. 2–4 hours). Any alone time would always be based entirely on your dog’s routine, comfort and needs. We can chat about this more at a meet & greet prior to booking if needed. For dogs who cannot be left for that long (e.g. less than 2 hours), I offer constant-supervision care. This requires extra planning and time, so a small additional fee applies. I will also ensure to adhere to any requirements that you might have - this might be regarding walks, training, feeding, medication, or anything else.

“Marietta took great care of Nova and send us some cute pictures during the day. We met before, so that all was clear for the day itself. Would recommend! Monty was also very cute 🐾”

“Chloe and Biddy were very helpful with a late request for weekend dog sitting. Theo and Chili had a great time sunbathing, playing in the garden and exploring the woods, and Biddy was very laid back about dealing with a cheeky 1 year old!”

“Abby was so lovely and amazing with Norman! We felt really at ease leaving him with her, and got some great photos of him having the best time. Would definitely recommend, thanks so much Abby!”

“Conny has provided excellent care, once again, for my 7 year old collie. I love all the photos and messages she sends and feel totally confident that my dog is having as much fun and exercise, or more, than when she's at home. Thanks so much Connie.”

About: I am a designer who works from home, after always having dogs I miss their company a lot. Instead of getting a dog I decided to host dogs in my house. I live in a cottage in St Austell, tucked away in a quiet part of this seaside town. I have a lovely big garden with sunshine and shade where they can play or potter about. The cottage is cool and quiet and has everything a doggy would need. Your dog will never be left alone as I work here too. I only take one dog at a time or dogs from the same household so they will have a really personal experience that will be tailored to them and their needs. There is a wealth of glorious beaches and river trails only minutes away for playtime, walks and relaxing. I try and make every day like a doggy holiday even if they are only staying a short time. I have owned dogs myself as well as having grown up with one always in the household. I had my last dog from a puppy and fully trained him, we did agility classes together too. I have also owned a rescue dog in the past who I worked closely with a trainer for to understand his body language and his needs so I do have experience with dog behaviour. I work from home during the week so your dog will have lots of 1:1 attention as I need to take regular breaks away from the screen. I always walk in the morning, lunchtime and the end of the day as a way to get outdoors and it’s such a treat to do that alongside a doggy friend. I can offer a pet free, smoke free house with a fenced in garden. Please do bring anything your dog likes along to make them comfortable, maybe a bed and some favourite toys for playtime
“Reg had the best time and Hannah and her family were so lovely. Their dog was also super friendly and Reggie seemed to love her too. Hannah sent lots of pictures and gave lots of updates which were great and if I were in Newquay again I would definitely get back in touch - thanks so much!”

“Melanie, thank you! You were amazing looking after Jasmine. Despite her excited ways and anxiety she really felt at ease with you. You were a great help and we cannot thank you enough. Also grateful for the tip on getting to St Ives! Stunning views!”

“Ella and her partner looked after my mini dachshund whilst I was visiting the area. They were fantastic with her, took her to the beach and sent lots of pictures. So happy I found them and would definitely recommend”

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. I have independently cared for my family dogs and find great joy in walking and having cuddles! As I live without pets now, I’d love some animal presence back in my life :) I am currently working from home and would love some company! I am available all week and weekend for animals. Also happy for sleepovers over the weekend. Gentle and warm approach. Happy for animals to sleep in the bedroom and go on the sofa. I love long walks and have a car to go on adventures! Lots of cuddles and playtime if the pet likes that!
About: I’ve had dogs all my life growing up and had 2 dogs in my adult life, both from puppies. I am used to being around high energy dogs that require a lot of attention and stimulation. I have experience with reactive dogs and dogs with behavioural issues. I have house trained many dogs overtime. I absolutely adore dogs and being in their company makes my heart happy! I work full time from home Monday- Friday with Friday afternoons off. I am available most weekends for dog boarding. My work is very relaxed so plenty of time to give your dog attention, toilet breaks and walks during my lunch breaks and after work. I live on my own in a 2 bedroom flat. I don’t have a garden but there is a shared communal garden for toilet breaks. I live a 3 minute walk from a beach and some other beautiful walks. I also drive and I’m happy to take your dog out and about on my travels. I often like to go to dog friendly cafes to read so your dog would be more than welcome to join me. I’m not worried about dogs being on my furniture etc, I want them to feel comfortable and welcome in my home. I’m happy to dog sit in your home as long as there is WiFi and a kettle for a cuppa!
“Very happy with Herbie’s care this evening. Herbie was very nervous when we arrived and I worried that he might not settle but Laura slowly won him around with her kind and gentle approach. When we went to collect him he was clearly happy and relaxed I really appreciated the photos that Laura sent through the evening which put my mind at rest. Thankyou Laura for a positive experience.”

We have never left our rescue pups before and were quite anxious. We needn’t have been! Alex was charming, friendly and clearly loves dogs. His dog is very placid and ours loved her. We had regular updates on how they were doing and photos. They went for 2 walks a day and seemed very at home with him. We wouldn’t hesitate to rebook.

Kate was fantastic, we contacted her at late notice to have our young lively Labrador while we went to a wedding whilst on holiday. She communicated well before the day and she was able to help & to reassure us as we had never used the service before. On the day she welcomed Amber into her home and we went to the wedding reassured she was going to be well looked after. Katie ensured we were kept updated during the day. When we collected Amber we could tell she had had a happy day. Katie fully followed the instructions we had given her. We could not have asked for a better dog sitter. We will use this service again in the future. Thank you Katie
Clarrissa was the best dog sitter you could ask for! She made time to meet boe before we went away! She took her on 6km run! And she was amazing with boe’s behaviours, boe can be reactive to other dogs and Clarissa was amazing at adapting to this making sure boe kept safe at all times! She kept us updated all the time through photos and messages! YOU COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER DOG SITTER 1000% WOULD RECOMMEND!!

We were worried that Scout wouldn't be able to settle, because he is a nervous dog who likes his own home surroundings. We shouldn't have worried Jeannie had him chilled out and relaxed in no time. She sent photos of him throughout his stay. He didn't want to leave Jeannie when I went to collect him. Thank you Jeannie we will definitely use you again

Liv is a superb dog sitter. She handled our rescue from Cyprus with great care who has some quirks, including some guarding tendencies. Our dog enjoyed plenty of time outdoors with her. Liv is very professional and considerate, and gave us just the right amount of updates whilst we were on our holiday. Would highly recommend!

Sally-Anne looked after Macie, our 6 year old Staffie, for a week and we (and Macie!) couldn’t be happier. We received daily updates with lots of pictures and we felt completely at-ease, knowing Macie was being well looked after with plenty of walks and love! We absolutely recommend Sally-Anne and will be using her services again in the future.

Ruby made Lola feel at home right from the start and sent me regular photos and news of how she was getting on. Ruby was so good when Lola had a medical issue which was so reassuring. I would recommend Ruby 100% and will definitely be booking with her again in the future
