Information Clarissa C. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any special or behaviours that I need to account for. For example, cautious of certain objects like vacuums or a generally anxious dog with either humans or other dogs.

A typical day

I love to provide forms of enrichment both indoors and outdoors as I believe enrichment is a necessity not an option. Coming from a background working with abandoned pets in shelters and in the zoo, enrichment helps stimulate animals’s minds mentally and physically. This can be in forms of various enrichments, from chew toys, to sniffing games, training games! Yes, sniffing provides richer mental and emotional enrichment and can offer greater cognitive stimulation and stress reduction than walking alone, though a balanced combination of both is ideal.

Dogs have a good judge of character!

Pet care experience

Worked with dogs in the Singapore zoo, with an adoption programme with local SPCA to help rescues to get adopted and running an educational talks about adopting pets instead of buying them. Have experience in training dogs for obedience, but also fun tricks and sniffing out pythons the zoo as it’s located in a forest. Very good with senior dogs, have also worked in various shelters. I have also administered injection and oral medication for both cats and dogs.

Clarrissa was the best dog sitter you could ask for! She made time to meet boe before we went away! She took her on 6km run! And she was amazing with boe’s behaviours, boe can be reactive to other dogs and Clarissa was amazing at adapting to this making sure boe kept safe at all times! She kept us updated all the time through photos and messages! YOU COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER DOG SITTER 1000% WOULD RECOMMEND!!
