It’s really helpful that I know how your dog behaves in public around other dogs and people. It’s also really important to know if you are happy with your dog being let off lead, providing their recall is good! Knowing if your dog has any dietary needs or if they are allowed treats is also helpful. The last thing I want to do is upset your dogs tummy if they can’t have grains for example. Knowing your doggies routine and how you look after your dog on a normal day is great to ensure consistency and minimize stress.

I love being physically active and getting out for long walks but will take your lead on what is right for your dog. I am happy to do long walks or even runs or swims if your dog loves that sort of thing. However, I also know that not all dogs are happy on longer walks, and age or medical conditions can limit the length or gradient of walks they’re comfortable with. For these dogs, I will still ensure they get enough fresh air and mental stimulation without causing any unnecessary physical strain. I am happy taking dogs to a variety of different and fun environments such as the woods or beach but also happy to just play with some toys in the park if they prefer that !
