Pet care experience
Animals make me happier above all else
I've always had pets for as-long as i can remember, cats when i was a newborn living on a boat, then whilst growing up.. a goldfish, then a hamster, 4 guinea pigs and for the past 10 years, my dog. So far I have cared for 15 dogs and counting and look forward to each and every new one to both brighten my day and give them the most awesome break away from home they could hope for! My cousin also use-to own a big dog boarding business and my friends have had dogs and puppies so i have experience with many different dogs through many different stages of their life. My dog has long hair (Shih-tzu) so i have had to brush, comb and wash him many times, thus i have experience and can do this for your dog also if required.

Cheddar had a great time with Marek when we went away. Marek gave Cheddar such a fun week with lots of adventures, meets with other dogs and plenty of cuddles. Cheddar was so happy with him, I will absolutely be booking again next time we go away.
My dog had a proper holiday staying with Marek. She was made to be part of the family and came home tired and happy. Marek sent lots of updates about their adventures.
I was so lucky to find Marek . It was my daughter graduation at Falmouth University and I needed to find someone to have my dog Meisha while we were at the ceremony . Meisha as a Cockerpoo gets anxious . Today she had an awesome day . Marek sent photos and communicated so well. Shes going to sleep well today after her fun trip to the beach . Thank you again for allowing me to have the day with my daughter and not to worry at all. I would def recommend 🥰
We came back for the second year in a row to leave Lapa with Marek, and once again we were really happy with the care she received. Marek is kind, reliable, and clearly loves dogs. His lovely little dog is very friendly and welcoming, which made Lapa feel right at home. We wouldn't hesitate to book with him again. Highly recommended! 🙂
I can't praise Marek enough. My dog Alfie loves him. He is kind and caring and just the kind of person you want to look after your fur baby. He sends you updates during the time your dog is with him which is great, photos and videos too. ❤️
Marek is fantastic. My dog Alfie stayed for a day and overnight, went for walks and the beach , which he loves. Can't praise Marek and his partner enough. Even let Alfie sleep on their bed 🐶 Will be booking a longer stay soon.

Schedule
I mostly work from home, thus i am avaialble most of the time for dog boarding, walks, sitting etc. I have a flexible schedule around the work i do so i can be flexible to your requirements.

I have a closed off yard for pee breaks outside of walk time, i have one friendly Shih-tzu, i can seperate or crate them etc if needed.
Pets
A typical day
Walks along the beach or through woods / fields, near rivers for paddling. I know a few enclosed areas where we can go for a no-lead run about, fetch etc (weather permitting). If your dog and you like it, i can cook them a nice meal on the first day (rice + chicken and veg)

- Dog commands that your dog is famliar with, anything i should watch out for such as how he acts with other dogs or things to be wary of. I feel im quite good at "reading" dogs based on how they are acting / body language, but all dogs can be slightly different so anything you can tell me about your dog will help me provide the best care and give your dog the best stay! Feading scheduled and what to feed and when they generally go for walks / loo breaks.
