About: I’ve had my own dogs (cocker spaniels) for almost 20 years, cared for GSD (my dog’s best friend) Labrador’s & regularly play with packs of pointers where my horse lives. I live an outdoorsy lifestyle, love beach walks which are nearby and leafy walks through the fields. Dogs generally come with me everywhere. I’m available for morning, lunchtime or evening dog walks. I have Public Liability Insurance in place. I’m available for dog walking or letting out/feeding, mornings, lunchtimes and also evenings - particularly useful for late shift workers, happy to let out/feeding/walk. I can drive to the dog’s home and walk locally or transport securely in my car to an area for dog walks.. And we’ll take great care! I can also offer occasional sitting in my home if you’re heading out for the day etc I have a large car with secure boot for transporting dogs if needed to area for walks. Equally I’m happy to just let out/feeding/whatever is required.

About: Proud cat dad since I was a kid and I love animals in general. Had experience looking after Boa constrictor, mice, gerbils, cats and even a lizard! Used to big dogs as in-laws own Newfoundlands. I work part time as a miniature sculptor - which means I’m very versatile with timetables - Available Monday - Sunday 7AM to 8PM for visits/walks I would prefer a visit prior to working to make sure of any considerations/medical requirements that I need to be aware of and of any behavioural “quirks”! And the expectations of the client as to what they’d expect whilst I visit the property to care for their pets.

Kyal is awesome. He took the time to meet Albie (and me) before their walks together, showed up promptly (and let me know he’d arrived), sent pics of a very happy pooch, and I came home to a super content setter each day. What more could I ask for?! Thanks so much Kyal. Albie looks forward to seeing you again soon.

We asked Ellen to walk Frida during the day, as I was away and my husband was at work. Ellen organised a pre-booking house visit to ensure she knew how to access the house to collect Frida and meet her, which was really reassuring for us. Ellen walked Frida four times and sent through detailed cards with photos for each walk, which was really lovely and appreciated. We thoroughly recommend Ellen as a dog walker, very professional and kind.

About: Having grown up with dogs, following this through with my own children, I have always loved and adored them. I have had spaniels, Rottweilers, Staffordshire bull terriers, mastiffs and a chihuahua so all shapes and sizes! I am currently working part time on a self employed basis so have plenty of opportunity to fit in any walks or drop ins within my schedule I always ensure to get a good descriptive explanation of how your pet is cared for at home so that they are not out of their routine. All safety precautions are taken when out on walks or if a drop in includes a run around in the clients garden.

About: Hi. My name is Chantelle and I have been around dogs for my entire life. I grew up with collies and now have two of my own. I am a massive dog lover and am confident with all types of dogs. I have experience with reactive and nervous dogs having volunteered with rescue dogs as a walker in the past. I am able for drop ins to check on pets and also for dog walks which will be tailored to your pup. I currently part time and varying shifts in the NHS as a biomedical scientist so my schedule can change each week but I have lots of availability. I am able to drive and have doggy seatbelts in my car for safe transport to a nice spot for walks. I will cater walks to what your pup requires, whether short walks with lots of breaks for young/old dogs or long walks for more energetic dogs. I am experienced with nervous and reactive dogs. I would prefer a meet prior to taking dogs out for walks so I can learn about their needs and requirements and any special care that may need to be taken. I cannot offer care in my own home but can do drop ins to let your dogs out, feed and top up water and have a play with your pups. I would prefer to either meet up or discuss over the phone your dogs needs so that I can cater to their requirements.

About: Hi I’m Tass, I’m local to St.Ives and come from a big family with lots of siblings so we’ve always had family dogs growing up. I have recently had my first child and he really likes to keep me busy, so we’re always on lots of long walks on the beach or footpaths mainly. As long as you’re happy with your fur baby being around my baby- I’m happy! I’d never leave them unattended alone together and i almost always have baby in a wrap on my front anyway as that’s where he is most happy I am very close to the beaches here as I live in central St.Ives, we also have the island (a big grassy open space closeby and access to the coast paths in both directions, and they are such beautiful walks I’m usually available on weekdays in the daytime, at weekends and for holidays. I’m very used to looking after, bathing, walking and grooming dogs and very open & flexible to your dogs unique character and needs. Confident with both ends of the scale - puppies and small dogs and larger dogs that need a bit more strength to walk around and keep under control on a lead! I’m currently not working so can be extremely flexible over your dogs needs and care. I have my boyfriends daughter around at weekends but weekdays we’re home alone so depending on whether your doggy is happy around kids you can choose when I help you out! Keen for lots of walking and time outdoors so can work around what your dogs usual routine is. We have a small fenced garden but also an enclosed flat on one floor, if the weather is bad and we can’t be outside for the day. Happy to spend lots of time in town / on the beach though depending on how active your dog is.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for many years. Growing up, I looked after my family dog, Taco, from the time I was old enough to take responsibility for her right through to her senior years. During that time, we also had another family dog, so I became used to caring for multiple dogs with different personalities and needs. Today, I have my own rescue dog, Bella, who has given me experience with building trust, establishing routines, providing enrichment, administering medication, and caring for an anxious dog. Looking after Bella has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and tailoring care to each individual dog. Alongside my experience with dogs, I’ve also cared for cats while their owners have been away. I’m happy to provide drop-in visits for cats, including feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, playtime, and giving them company while respecting their individual personalities and routines. I’m confident caring for pets of different ages and temperaments, from energetic younger dogs to slower senior dogs who need a gentler pace. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, feeding, playtime, medication (following your instructions), or simply keeping your pet company, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you have complete peace of mind while you’re away. I currently work morning cleaning shifts, which means I have availability around my work schedule for dog walks and drop-in visits. This will be after 7am. I can provide reliable care during my available hours and will always communicate clearly about my availability. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priority. When visiting your home, I will treat your space with respect, follow your instructions carefully, and make sure your pet feels safe and relaxed. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs.

About: Throughout my life, I have been surrounded by the joyful energy and unconditional love that dogs bring. From a young age, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for various breeds, each with their unique personalities and quirks. Whether it was teaching my playful lab new tricks or enjoying quiet moments with my gentle fizzla, every experience has deepened my appreciation for these loyal companions. I've learned to understand their needs, from proper exercise and nutrition to the importance of socialization and mental stimulation. These experiences have not only shaped my skills as a dog sitter but have also enriched my life with countless memories of wagging tails and happy barks. I work from home five days a week, and I love spending my time outdoors with the dogs. Whether it's taking them on coastal walks or discovering new scenic routes along the shore, I enjoy exploring the beauty of nature with my furry companions. I have a spacious, enclosed garden that ensures your dogs are safe and secure while they enjoy their time outdoors. Water and food always available.

About: I am currently studying an access course at college, for midwifery. I finish this course in a week and I’m looking to do something fun and different over the summer. I currently work the odd shift in community care - so I’m pretty calm and patient. I am willing to take care of all kinds of animals, in my family home, we currently have; snake, tortoise and a dog. (Dog is not mine). I have had many cats and kittens of my own in the past, I have also had many dogs. I would love to have my own dog, but the family dog isn’t that great with others. I can administer medication to your fur babies and take them on long walks. I’m willing to drive them to better areas for the walks. Do you need to go away, but you’re worried about leaving your elderly pet. I am willing to care for them while you are away.

About: I have always loved animals from a young age and have always looked after friends and family’s pets. I have my own little puppy, she is 7 months old and is very good with other animals. I would love to help others who need someone to either look after their pet or take on a walk. I work from home so can be flexible. I work from home so am super flexible and always put my furry friends needs first. I live quite an active life style as well so am always out and about making sure my pup gets the exercise and mental stimulation she needs. Makes sense to be able to help others who needs their pet looking after, walks or just check ins. I have an Italian spinone who is 7 months old, her name is Olive and she is super friendly, absolutely loves other animals and people. So if any pet decides to come here for the night, they will have company.

About: Hi, thanks for stopping by. Dogs have always been a constant part of my life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I had my first dog when I was eight, and over the years growing up we had five dogs in total at home, often caring for several at once. That experience taught me early on how to manage different personalities, routines, and energy levels all under one roof. As an adult, I continued building on that foundation by volunteering as a dog walker with a Cornwall-based charity, The Cinnamon Trust, where I supported elderly and vulnerable owners by walking their dogs. That role helped me develop a calm, patient approach and a strong understanding of dogs who may need extra reassurance or gentle handling. Alongside this, for the past six years I have been dog sitting regularly for clients, so I’m very used to caring for dogs in different homes and adapting quickly to new routines, environments, and individual needs. What sets me apart is that I genuinely treat every dog as an individual. I take time to understand their routines, comfort levels, and quirks so they feel safe, settled, and happy while their owners are away. At the moment, pet care is a regular part of my daily life. I dogsit most days, so caring for dogs is fully built into my weekly routine rather than something occasional. My days are structured around the dogs I’m looking after, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific routines provided by their owners. Because I do this so frequently, I’m very used to adapting quickly to different dogs and households, and making sure each dog gets consistent care and attention throughout the day. I have two dogs, so I'm not able to have dogs at my house, but I am able to come to people's homes.

About: I have an enhanced DBS check and have looked after dogs and cats for neighbours and friends for over 10 years at home and during university. We have had dogs and cats for many years in the family home so am experienced in mixed pet households and love both cats and dogs. I’m currently setting up my own practice in Chiropractic and Sports Massage in Porthtowan and am looking for part time work to go alongside it looking after dogs and cats! It was my part time job when I was studying in Wales and have loved it so much I want to carry it on alongside normal work! Ensuring the garden is enclosed for example closed gate, but they also still have access to outside. Providing them spaces to relax and feel safe in your home.
