“Lauren is a great choice if you are wanting to go to the Minnack theatre, as reasonably close by. Good communication and flexible with availability. My dog coped very well being with her, even though he had never met her before. I was nervous, as this was my first time leaving my fur baby with someone we didn't know. “Leaving our mini schnauzer with Mevan for the day worked out perfectly. We got to spend a dog-free day in St Ives while Mevan did a wonderful job looking after Lexi. She is right near a lovely park and Lexi had two walks. Lexi seemed quite happy when we picked her up. Parking/drop-off was convenient and it all went smoothly. Mevan was very communicative through the whole process. I would use her again.”

About: I am a dedicated pet lover based in Penzance, Cornwall, close to a variety of lovely trails with different types of terrain. I can accommodate any walking preference and am happy to walk dogs individually. I can walk 2–3 small dogs from the same family, or two medium to large dogs from the same family, depending on temperament and needs. I’m very experienced in caring for other people’s dogs and have owned several dogs myself, all larger breeds. I currently rely on public transport. I’m conscientious, reliable, and treat all animals with genuine love and care. I also offer day care and occasionally boarding in the owner’s home. I no longer provide boarding in my own home I am flexible with the hours I can offer. I work from home and am an early riser. I am adaptable and willing to work with pet owners to stick to dogs routines. I am a extremely trustworthy and respectful person. I have worked within numerous caring roles over the years including child minding, elderly & end of life care and managing a day centre for disabled adults. I have always loved animals and enjoyed making a fuss of people and pets. I've frequently looked after friends dogs when they've gone away and used to regularly walk a neighbours dog as well as looking after my own Golden retriever rescue, Greek mixed breed rescue & my Rottweiler and Doberman just passed.

I have most of my experience with boxers, French and English bulldog puppies from birth. About: I grew up on a farm, surrounded by animals. I have owned dogs for many years, and trained my male Chocolate lab in obedience and agility and competed. I then got a female Rottweiler a few years later as a companion, who also I trained and did agility- but no competitions. After a few years without them, I got a shihtzu- moving to a small breed was very different- but amazing. Did some agility for fun only, she moved abroad with me - so I care for animals wholeheartedly. I groom her myself. I am an experienced handler and pet owner, who loves dogs all shapes and sizes. I am not working in August and part time from September, although can work from home. Therefore I am flexible with arrangements and ensure I am not away more than a few hours. I have a fenced in front garden, that is secure, as well as plenty of walkable routes around my home. I have a car to go for beach or woods walks.

About: I grew up with the craziest Maltese, who I trained from a puppy until I left for university, so I’ve always had dogs around me. I’m often at home and regularly look after my friends’ dogs, whether that’s keeping them company, playing with them, or taking out. I also enjoy running, swimming and other outdoor activities, and I’d love to have a dog join me whenever appropriate. I’ve always found that animals naturally seem to feel confortable around me, and most importantly, dog person for life! I’m a postgraduate student living in Falmouth with a part time job. I’m usually at home for most of the day unless im out doing an activity involving some sort of exercise I live in a spacious house with five friends, a courtyard, and plenty of room for dogs. About: I have previously run my own business in dog walking and pet sitting. I am now getting back into it as my children a older. I would be flexible to do dog walks and pet care during the week alongside a flexible part time job as a cleaner in Falmouth I can spend the school hours in a pets home between 9.30 -2.30. I can also do evenings or overnight stays depending on the day
