“Leo has been fantastic, he agreed to look after Dave on short notice. He has been really accommodating and worked around us. Dave had a wonderful time with Leo and Bruce, thoroughly enjoying himself and he came back tired, relaxed and very happy which can be a challenge at times being a working breed border collie, he has a lot of energy.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, and for the past 11 years my family and I cared for our own much‑loved Cavachon, who we sadly lost a couple of months ago. We raised her from a puppy, so I’m very familiar with early training, building routines, socialisation, and helping a young dog grow into a confident, well‑behaved companion. As she got older, we also managed her medication and adapted her routine to keep her comfortable, so I’m confident handling day‑to‑day care that needs consistency and a bit of extra attention. Over the years we’ve also looked after dogs belonging to family, friends, colleagues and neighbours. From Springer Spaniels and Dalmatians to Labradors, Cockapoos and Terriers. We have a large enclosed garden and a spacious open‑plan home where dogs can play, roam or rest depending on what they enjoy. My husband and our two children (aged 6 and 9) adore dogs. We love heading out for beach walks, woodland adventures and coastal paths together. The children are gentle, respectful and understand when dogs need quiet time and space. We aim to create a relaxed, predictable environment where dogs feel safe, settled and part of the family. Please get in touch if we can help, and feel free to share as much information as possible about feeding routines, temperament and anything else that helps us make their stay perfect. Pet care fits naturally into our weekly routine. I’m currently at home during the day, and over the school holidays I’m with my children, so there’s always company and plenty of attention for visiting dogs. My husband also works from home a lot, which means dogs are rarely left alone and can enjoy a calm, consistent environment. We’re used to planning our days around dog‑friendly activities, beach walks, coastal paths, and relaxed weekend outings, so it’s easy for us to build a dog’s routine into our own. Whether it’s regular walks, playtime, or just having someone around, we’re a family who genuinely enjoys making dogs feel part of our day. We have a large, fully fenced garden where they can explore and play securely, and our home is set up so dogs can be part of family life without feeling overwhelmed. Our children (aged 6 and 9) have grown up around dogs and are gentle, confident, and respectful, they love to play, but they also understand when a dog needs space or quiet time. We live close to woods, coastal paths, and dog‑friendly beaches, so walks are varied and enriching.

“Tony had the best time with Leah and Basalt! We felt completely comfortable leaving Tony in Leah’s care and it looks like Tony has made a best friend for life 😊 Thank you and would definitely book again.”

“Jesse immediately took to Kyle and they had a very good day together. Being an older dog she is very set in her ways and Kyle was very sympathetic to her needs and she was very settled when we arrived home. Would definitely use again.”

“Poppy is SO lovely & friendly and took amazing care of Ralph! He looked very happy and comfortable in her company and I was so at ease knowing he was in safe hands. I'd 100% recommend Poppy to anyone looking for support with dog daycare!”

“Harriet provided an excellent day care service for our three Spanish Water Dogs. The youngest of which, Nessa, is an extremely lively puppy who thrives on plenty of attention. I have no doubt that Harriet was kept busy by Nessa. All dogs were well cared for and we would have no hesitation in seeking Harriet’s services in the future”

“Runa instantly felt at home with Rhianna. She was very well looked after and came home a very happy girl! Rhianna sent lots of lovely photo updates and messages on how runa was throughout the day so I knew she was in safe hands. Thank you!”

About: I am able to walk them on long walks, feed and play with them and also bathe them if needed.I have always grown up with animals and have a energetic saluki mixed dog at home who I love having morning swims with! I am university student, so on the days that I can take care of your dog , I will be always with them at home or going on walks. I have a outdoor patio where the dog can do its business and the dog would be welcome anywhere in the house. Also short walk from the beach.

“We couldn’t have asked for better care for our two dogs while we were away for the day. From start to finish, everything was so easy and reassuring. The dogs were instantly comfortable and came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well looked after. It gave us complete peace of mind knowing they were in such safe and caring hands. We’d absolutely recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind to care for their pets — thank you so much Katie!!”

“Olly did a fantastic job of caring for our dog last weekend. You were super accommodating, kind and put my mind at ease. I knew my dog was in good hands as soon as we met. Extremely responsive and helpful on the messenger and kept me up to date with what Bonito was up to when you had him. I will definitely use you again! Thanks so much Olly! X”

“This is the second time that Virginia has looked after our dog, Tony, and she is great! She was able to look after Tony at short notice for an afternoon/evening over the weekend and he had a great time! We really appreciate the photos/updates and would absolutely use Virginia again. Highly recommend 😊”

About: Worked with dogs in the Singapore zoo, with an adoption programme with local SPCA to help rescues to get adopted and running an educational talks about adopting pets instead of buying them. Have experience in training dogs for obedience, but also fun tricks and sniffing out pythons the zoo as it’s located in a forest. Very good with senior dogs, have also worked in various shelters. I have also administered injection and oral medication for both cats and dogs. I’m currently working part-time 3 days a week, so am perfect for dog walking services or happy to take care of pets or do boarding! I love the outdoors and happy to go on adventure walks with dogs and offer lots of TLC! This can be happily adjusted for special needs or senior dogs too :) Able to give services to shower dogs and grooming if the dog will be alright with other people other than its owner doing so. Will be attentive, feeding schedule, walking schedule and also offer enrichment using treats to offer good stimulation so dogs will not be bored, and also plenty of rest as per each dog’s requirement
About: Born into a veterinary household, I grew up caring for every type of animal — from hamsters and tortoises to lambs, cats and dogs. As an adult, I’ve always shared my home with dogs, from tiny Shih Tzu puppies to giant Newfoundlands. This lifelong experience has given me a natural instinct for understanding what every dog needs to feel safe and loved. At the points of life where Iv been able to live with animals such a university or housing restrictions I have volunteered at either a dog walking charity or a small grooming business. Currently taking a break from cardiac Nursing, as youngest child is in their first year of school. Once school run is done we will either head to Trevaunance Cove, Portreath beach, Idless woods. Whichever you your pup would prefer. Then home for a snack & snooze, while I complete chores Then again after school pick up have a fun run down Coosebean woods/ cycle track just at the back of my home. I have a large garden that has some holes in the hedge-line, however your dog will be supervised while outside. No toxic plants. Always have access to fresh water, inside and outside
About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs my whole life. This included many different breeds with different temperaments, this is what started my love for dogs. I am a university student going into third year studying Geography. I have finished for the summer, so daytimes and nighttime’s are flexible for me. I am comfortable around any dog no matter the temperament, i can adapt to specifically fit your dogs needs and make sure they are comfortable.
“Wallace spent the day with Ashley and Walter as a trial before a 3 night sleepover. Ashley was absolutely fantastic with Wallace. She was completely unfazed by Wallace’s lively personality: she is calm and obviously knows what she is doing. She sent regular updates on how Wallace was settling and we will have no hesitation leaving Wallace in the safe hands of Ashley and Walter in the future. It is a true home from home experience.”

About: I grew up on a farm, surrounded by animals. I have owned dogs for many years, and trained my male Chocolate lab in obedience and agility and competed. I then got a female Rottweiler a few years later as a companion, who also I trained and did agility- but no competitions. After a few years without them, I got a shihtzu- moving to a small breed was very different- but amazing. Did some agility for fun only, she moved abroad with me - so I care for animals wholeheartedly. I groom her myself. I am an experienced handler and pet owner, who loves dogs all shapes and sizes. I am not working in August and part time from September, although can work from home. Therefore I am flexible with arrangements and ensure I am not away more than a few hours. I have a fenced in front garden, that is secure, as well as plenty of walkable routes around my home. I have a car to go for beach or woods walks.
“Ros was great, she sent us loads of photo's, even came and met us at our hotel to drop off our puppy. She was very friendly and extremely experienced with dogs. Would use her again and recommend her for anyone in the Falmouth area. Great communication throughout.”

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - St Just-In-Roseland
Lucy helped us out with less than 24 hours notice, when our other dogcare arrangements had fallen through. We left Bingo, our 2 year old full-of-beans show cocker, with her for four hours on a stormy day, while we visited a museum. She sent us lovely updates during the day and Bingo was very settled, sleeping in front of the tele. Bingo was happy to see us when we got back but ran back into Lucy's house as soon as she'd greeted us - I think she would have been happy to stay longer! We're so grateful to Lucy for helping us out as we're trying to navigate holidays as new dog parents 😊
