“I can’t not thank Melanie enough for taking such good care of my dog Henry while I was at a wedding. She kept me updated throughout the day with videos and messages. I highly recommend Melanie to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

“Gina and her lovely family took very good care of my dog Blue after a last minute request. I received daily updates and photos from her. They took him out on several walks/run each each and Blue came back satisfied and happy. Would use as sitters again and I would recommend the family.”

“I was very anxious looking for a dog sitter as our spaniels have never stayed with anyone who wasn’t a family member (and well known to them). The moment Molly and Syd met Alison I knew they would be ok. She has a fabulous manner and they instantly warmed to her. I think they thought they’d won the lottery and looked instantly at home in her wonderful farmhouse and surrounding fields. Alison sent us photos of them having an incredible time on walks and then worn out snoozing with her on the sofa. I knew they’d had a fabulous time when Syd put the brakes on and had to be pulled out her kitchen to leave 🤣 Molly arrived home, had a quick sniff of our garden and got back in the car! We were certain she was telling us she wanted to go back to Alison’s 🤣”

“Chalky has had a great time at Richard’s. Being an older dog we were a bit apprehensive about leaving him in a strange place but Richard was very patient with him and really understood how to look after him. He kept us updated with photos of chalky and when we came to pick him up we could tell he had had a great time. I would have no hesitation in recommending Richard to any of my friends”

“Emily looked after our Labrador Milly during our holiday in Cornwall. Milly had a great time and we were almost worried she didn’t want to leave! Emily was flexible and responsive when making arrangements to take her out and provided plenty of updates of their walks on the beach. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or book again.”

“Wow I was so impressed with Mads!! From the get go it was clear she was the right person to take care of my baby while I was away!! Lots of pertinent questions when we first met and great communication while I was away! Upon my return it was so clear that lady had the best time staying with her, with lots of walks and having fun on the beach! Mads is so friendly and great, clearly a massive dog lover and if I ever need to head away again she'll be my first choice 100% Thank you again for everything!!”

“Jason and his family were so wonderful to Tanuki! I received videos and photos of Tanuki having the time of her life playing with other doggos. Ottis and Tanuki were so similar, they got on so well I was gutted I had to take her away, haha! Thank you so much for looking after my furry doghter : )”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, and for the past 11 years my family and I cared for our own much‑loved Cavachon, who we sadly lost a couple of months ago. We raised her from a puppy, so I’m very familiar with early training, building routines, socialisation, and helping a young dog grow into a confident, well‑behaved companion. As she got older, we also managed her medication and adapted her routine to keep her comfortable, so I’m confident handling day‑to‑day care that needs consistency and a bit of extra attention. Over the years we’ve also looked after dogs belonging to family, friends, colleagues and neighbours. From Springer Spaniels and Dalmatians to Labradors, Cockapoos and Terriers. We have a large enclosed garden and a spacious open‑plan home where dogs can play, roam or rest depending on what they enjoy. My husband and our two children (aged 6 and 9) adore dogs. We love heading out for beach walks, woodland adventures and coastal paths together. The children are gentle, respectful and understand when dogs need quiet time and space. We aim to create a relaxed, predictable environment where dogs feel safe, settled and part of the family. Please get in touch if we can help, and feel free to share as much information as possible about feeding routines, temperament and anything else that helps us make their stay perfect. Pet care fits naturally into our weekly routine. I’m currently at home during the day, and over the school holidays I’m with my children, so there’s always company and plenty of attention for visiting dogs. My husband also works from home a lot, which means dogs are rarely left alone and can enjoy a calm, consistent environment. We’re used to planning our days around dog‑friendly activities, beach walks, coastal paths, and relaxed weekend outings, so it’s easy for us to build a dog’s routine into our own. Whether it’s regular walks, playtime, or just having someone around, we’re a family who genuinely enjoys making dogs feel part of our day. We have a large, fully fenced garden where they can explore and play securely, and our home is set up so dogs can be part of family life without feeling overwhelmed. Our children (aged 6 and 9) have grown up around dogs and are gentle, confident, and respectful, they love to play, but they also understand when a dog needs space or quiet time. We live close to woods, coastal paths, and dog‑friendly beaches, so walks are varied and enriching.

“Monika is the first person to ever look after Monty and it was his first time not staying at our house. We were nervous about how he would be but it’s very obvious that he had a fantastic time away! She kept us very informed on how he was doing and I think the chance to spend time with another bigger dog in the house has really improved his behaviour. Super happy with the whole experience and would absolutely recommend Monika to look after your pup!”

About: Hi, I'm Leo and I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I like to get out and about so I'm always walking my dog Bruce, he comes with me everywhere I go! I have experience caring for senior pets also and have a qualification in canine first aid. I understand that all dogs are different and need different breed specific stimulation to be happy and healthy and I will always try to weave some training in with all the playtime and walks! I'm currently available full-time with availability Mon-Fri and Saturday if required. I am able to be flexible to suit your requirements and meet the needs of your pet. I live in close proximity to woodland, open fields and enclosed paddocks. I also have access to an unfenced garden in my home. I have a 18 month old Sprocker Spaniel and an elderly cat at home to keep your best friend company.
About: My name is Rose and I run this account with my Boyfriend Jago :) We are both Marine biology students, and miss our dogs at home! I've spent the last 9 years looking after and training my own black Schnoodle at home, as well as caring for dogs of different breeds and sizes for friends and family. We are both confident with feeding, walks, toilet breaks, playtime, and making sure every dog feels happy, comfortable, and well looked after. My boyfriend and I both work part time, meaning someone is always around to ensure your furry friend is never alone! We are both very active (meaning lots of W.A.L.Ks) and are always spending time outdoors, adventuring to new spots when we can. My garden is fenced, meaning lots of space for sniffing outdoors and having fun. Also living in a safe neighbourhood, evening walks are no problem!
“Abby was so lovely and amazing with Norman! We felt really at ease leaving him with her, and got some great photos of him having the best time. Would definitely recommend, thanks so much Abby!”

“Tabitha is lovely, and the location is wonderful, on a farm in the middle of countryside. We were sent regular updates with photos of our dog looking relaxed and happy, She clearly had a fantastic time with Tabitha, and we will certainly wish to rebook with her when needed. Thank you!”

“Ella and her partner looked after my mini dachshund whilst I was visiting the area. They were fantastic with her, took her to the beach and sent lots of pictures. So happy I found them and would definitely recommend”

“Clarrissa was the best dog sitter you could ask for! She made time to meet boe before we went away! She took her on 6km run! And she was amazing with boe’s behaviours, boe can be reactive to other dogs and Clarissa was amazing at adapting to this making sure boe kept safe at all times! She kept us updated all the time through photos and messages! YOU COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER DOG SITTER 1000% WOULD RECOMMEND!!”

About: Hi, I’m Lauren! I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life in Cornwall and have always had such a love for them. We had a golden retriever as our family dog from when I was little, and later adopted a collie, so I’m very comfortable with different breeds, personalities and routines. I also regularly look after friends’ dogs, including Zora the red fox lab, Arthur and Norman the cockerpoos, and KyKy the cavapoo. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, relaxed and well cared for while their owners are away. I work from home Monday–Friday, usually 9am–6pm, with long lunches and lots of flexibility throughout the day for walks, toilet breaks and playtime. I live close to both the beach and fields, so there are plenty of lovely places for dogs to explore and enjoy. My home is calm, cosy and dog-friendly, and I always try to make dogs feel as settled and comfortable as possible. Whether your dog loves long walks, cuddles on the sofa, playtime or simply having company during the day, I’ll make sure they get lots of love and attention while they’re with me. I know how important trust is when leaving your dog with someone, so I’ll always follow your routine and instructions carefully to help them feel safe and at home. I’m also very happy to send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re happy and settled while you’re away. I work from home full time with flexible hours and long lunches, so I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, cuddles and regular toilet breaks. I want pets to feel as settled and comfortable as possible while they’re with me. I’ll follow their usual routine closely and make sure they get plenty of walks, attention, playtime and cuddles throughout the day. As I work from home, they’ll rarely be left alone and I’m always happy to send photo updates too.

“It was my first time using a pet sitter & Lisa was amazing! She came over to meet me & my pets beforehand & see exactly what was needed etc. And while I was away she went above & beyond to care for my cat & chickens! My cat tends to be quite nervous with new people, but instantly took to Lisa. Lisa was so lovely & kept me updated the whole time I was away with plenty of photos & videos, which was so reassuring. Would 100% recommend!”

More recently I have been housesitting dogs and cats around Devon & Cornwall. Having grown up around dogs and nature, long walks accompanied with pups is my happy place. My work requires 16 hours/week of in-office work, I am happy to arrange annual leave for sits (with enough warning) or we can discuss shift schedules when arranging sits, to see what works best for your pets. About: Hi I’m Tass, I’m local to St.Ives and come from a big family with lots of siblings so we’ve always had family dogs growing up. I have recently had my first child and he really likes to keep me busy, so we’re always on lots of long walks on the beach or footpaths mainly. As long as you’re happy with your fur baby being around my baby- I’m happy! I’m very used to looking after, bathing, walking and grooming dogs and very open & flexible to your dogs unique character and needs. Confident with both ends of the scale - puppies and small dogs and larger dogs that need a bit more strength to walk around and keep under control on a lead! I’m currently not working so can be extremely flexible over your dogs needs and care. I have my boyfriends daughter around at weekends but weekdays we’re home alone so depending on whether your doggy is happy around kids you can choose when I help you out! Keen for lots of walking and time outdoors so can work around what your dogs usual routine is. We have a small fenced garden but also an enclosed flat on one floor, if the weather is bad and we can’t be outside for the day. Happy to spend lots of time in town / on the beach though depending on how active your dog is.

“First time using Rover and what a fantastic choice having Sarah. From the start she was welcoming and enthusiastic. Our dog had a great time out on the beach twice and happy with Sarah. Before hand Sarah gave us lots of beautiful recommendations for places where dogs are welcome which really gave us a head start for our holiday in Cornwall Cannot thank Sarah enough for making our dog so relaxed and happy.”

“Emily was absolutely brilliant with Margot! She looked after her for the day while we went on a boat trip, and we felt completely at ease knowing she was in such caring hands. Emily was really attentive to Margot’s needs and made sure she was comfortable and happy throughout the day. Her communication was excellent too, which gave us great peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Emily and would definitely use her again. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Margot! 🐾❤️”

“Connor looked after our family dog while we spent the day at St Michael's Mount nearby. Connor was friendly and enthusiastic. He communicated well before and during the day. Connor also took our dog for a walk on the beach and sent us pictures. Jasper looked very happy when we collected him and went back to Connor for cuddles even after we arrived, which says it all!”

“Leaving our mini schnauzer with Mevan for the day worked out perfectly. We got to spend a dog-free day in St Ives while Mevan did a wonderful job looking after Lexi. She is right near a lovely park and Lexi had two walks. Lexi seemed quite happy when we picked her up. Parking/drop-off was convenient and it all went smoothly. Mevan was very communicative through the whole process. I would use her again.”
“Five starts are just not enough! Alison provided a perfect day for Jasper. When we dropped him off for his first day care stay he was immediately relaxed and happy for us to leave him. Alison sent us photos during the day and it was clear to see Jasper was having a great time, Thank you so much Alison for your reassurance that all was well as it meant we could relax and enjoy our day out too! We are already planning our next trip away knowing Jasper is in safe hands.”

“Booked very last minute and were extremely accommodating for us due to this! Couldnt be more thankful! Freddie had alot of fun and was well looked after for us! Loved all the pupdates too!”

“Frank had the best time with Leo. It has been a while since Frank had been with someone he wasn’t familiar with. He wasn’t happy when I left. Leo quickly sent me reassuring pictures. Little updates flowed throughout the day as they went of in walks and played at Leo’s home. Frank looked reluctant to leave. Would leave my little Prince with Leo any day. Thank you!”

I've learned to understand their needs, from proper exercise and nutrition to the importance of socialization and mental stimulation. These experiences have not only shaped my skills as a dog sitter but have also enriched my life with countless memories of wagging tails and happy barks. I work from home five days a week, and I love spending my time outdoors with the dogs. Whether it's taking them on coastal walks or discovering new scenic routes along the shore, I enjoy exploring the beauty of nature with my furry companions. I have a spacious, enclosed garden that ensures your dogs are safe and secure while they enjoy their time outdoors. Water and food always available.
I’d never leave them unattended alone together and i almost always have baby in a wrap on my front anyway as that’s where he is most happy I am very close to the beaches here as I live in central St.Ives, we also have the island (a big grassy open space closeby and access to the coast paths in both directions, and they are such beautiful walks I’m usually available on weekdays in the daytime, at weekends and for holidays.
“Cara was fantastic! She was on time, sent lots of pictures, and Albie had long, awesome walks with her! He was super happy when I got home. I would totally book again. Thanks again, Cara.”

About: I have taken care of my friends and family’s dogs for many years, including walking, feeding and bathing and generally showing them lots of love. I also fostered a rescue for a year before he found his forever home, so have first hand experience with the daily looking after of a dog. We have no dogs in the house currently. I work from home a lot and I am free for boarding and dog walking throughout the week in the mornings, lunchtime and evenings and all weekend. I am free for general boarding and pet care continually. I have a fully walled back garden and gated front garden, on a quiet back street in Penzance, with a large park 20 metres away.

About: I have always loved animals from a young age and have always looked after friends and family’s pets. I have my own little puppy, she is 7 months old and is very good with other animals. I would love to help others who need someone to either look after their pet or take on a walk. I work from home so can be flexible. I work from home so am super flexible and always put my furry friends needs first. I live quite an active life style as well so am always out and about making sure my pup gets the exercise and mental stimulation she needs. Makes sense to be able to help others who needs their pet looking after, walks or just check ins. I have an Italian spinone who is 7 months old, her name is Olive and she is super friendly, absolutely loves other animals and people. So if any pet decides to come here for the night, they will have company.
About: Hi. My name is Chantelle and I have been around dogs for my entire life. I grew up with collies and now have two of my own. I am a massive dog lover and am confident with all types of dogs. I have experience with reactive and nervous dogs having volunteered with rescue dogs as a walker in the past. I am able for drop ins to check on pets and also for dog walks which will be tailored to your pup. I currently part time and varying shifts in the NHS as a biomedical scientist so my schedule can change each week but I have lots of availability. I am able to drive and have doggy seatbelts in my car for safe transport to a nice spot for walks. I will cater walks to what your pup requires, whether short walks with lots of breaks for young/old dogs or long walks for more energetic dogs. I am experienced with nervous and reactive dogs. I would prefer a meet prior to taking dogs out for walks so I can learn about their needs and requirements and any special care that may need to be taken. I cannot offer care in my own home but can do drop ins to let your dogs out, feed and top up water and have a play with your pups. I would prefer to either meet up or discuss over the phone your dogs needs so that I can cater to their requirements.
About: I have an enhanced DBS check and have looked after dogs and cats for neighbours and friends for over 10 years at home and during university. We have had dogs and cats for many years in the family home so am experienced in mixed pet households and love both cats and dogs. I’m currently setting up my own practice in Chiropractic and Sports Massage in Porthtowan and am looking for part time work to go alongside it looking after dogs and cats! It was my part time job when I was studying in Wales and have loved it so much I want to carry it on alongside normal work! Ensuring the garden is enclosed for example closed gate, but they also still have access to outside. Providing them spaces to relax and feel safe in your home.
About: Hi, thanks for stopping by. Dogs have always been a constant part of my life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I had my first dog when I was eight, and over the years growing up we had five dogs in total at home, often caring for several at once. That experience taught me early on how to manage different personalities, routines, and energy levels all under one roof. As an adult, I continued building on that foundation by volunteering as a dog walker with a Cornwall-based charity, The Cinnamon Trust, where I supported elderly and vulnerable owners by walking their dogs. That role helped me develop a calm, patient approach and a strong understanding of dogs who may need extra reassurance or gentle handling. Alongside this, for the past six years I have been dog sitting regularly for clients, so I’m very used to caring for dogs in different homes and adapting quickly to new routines, environments, and individual needs. What sets me apart is that I genuinely treat every dog as an individual. I take time to understand their routines, comfort levels, and quirks so they feel safe, settled, and happy while their owners are away. At the moment, pet care is a regular part of my daily life. I dogsit most days, so caring for dogs is fully built into my weekly routine rather than something occasional. My days are structured around the dogs I’m looking after, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific routines provided by their owners. Because I do this so frequently, I’m very used to adapting quickly to different dogs and households, and making sure each dog gets consistent care and attention throughout the day. I have two dogs, so I'm not able to have dogs at my house, but I am able to come to people's homes.
“Lara is a very friendly walker who my dog really liked from the start. We chatted about Daphne’s needs and she listened and took in board what I said. She’s clear about what she can offer in terms of availability which I find so helpful.”

About: I have taken care of and owned reactive/anxious dogs for over a decade, from training our first family rescue dog in 2012, to later volunteering and fostering for the Cinnamon Trust. My routine fits flexibly around whatever you and your dog request, when your pup prefers walks, food etc. is all decided by you! You know what your dog needs best. I will be guided and alter my care based on your preferences; on/off lead walking, dog-socialising, long/short walks, feeding times, etc.

“Gina and her lovely family took very good care of my dog Blue after a last minute request. I received daily updates and photos from her. They took him out on several walks/run each each and Blue came back satisfied and happy. Would use as sitters again and I would recommend the family.”

Thank you!”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life growing up and had 2 dogs in my adult life, both from puppies. I am used to being around high energy dogs that require a lot of attention and stimulation. I have experience with reactive dogs and dogs with behavioural issues. I have house trained many dogs overtime. I absolutely adore dogs and being in their company makes my heart happy! I work full time from home Monday- Friday with Friday afternoons off. I am available most weekends for dog boarding. My work is very relaxed so plenty of time to give your dog attention, toilet breaks and walks during my lunch breaks and after work. I live on my own in a 2 bedroom flat. I don’t have a garden but there is a shared communal garden for toilet breaks. I live a 3 minute walk from a beach and some other beautiful walks. I also drive and I’m happy to take your dog out and about on my travels. I often like to go to dog friendly cafes to read so your dog would be more than welcome to join me. I’m not worried about dogs being on my furniture etc, I want them to feel comfortable and welcome in my home. I’m happy to dog sit in your home as long as there is WiFi and a kettle for a cuppa!

“I've found the perfect dog sitter! Lianne is both professional and friendly. She is clearly passionate and experienced with dogs, and her lovely home is ideal, being safe and comfortable. Albert and Ernie loved their stay with her, and Chloe the chilled resident dog. They got on like long term friends, and came back very relaxed and happy. I have no hesitation recommending Lianne to look after your loved ones, and will be a return customer for years to come.”
