About: Currently we do not have pets of our own. However, I have grown up around animals, having a loved dogs, cats, horses ,& chickens. We will only ever have one client's pets staying with us at any given time . We enjoy long country walks. Experience with senior dogs and are confident administering medication. One of us works part time and the other is retired. This means your pet will have companionship throughout the stay We are able to be flexible around your pets needs We gave a large family home with a fenced garden. We take the care of your pet seriously and will adjust the care dependent on the pets needs and preferences. Providing the dog does not have issues limiting exercise, we offer one long ( at least an hour) walk and a shorter walk daily. In between there are toilet breaks. We only arrange to petsit if we are home the entire period of the stay.

I recently had the pleasure of leaving my dog in Richard’s care for four days, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I visited his home before the booking, I felt confident and reassured. Richard is knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly passionate about animals. He provided regular updates and made sure my dog was comfortable and well looked after throughout the stay. It’s clear he goes above and beyond, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.

Wow I was so impressed with Mads!! From the get go it was clear she was the right person to take care of my baby while I was away!! Lots of pertinent questions when we first met and great communication while I was away! Upon my return it was so clear that lady had the best time staying with her, with lots of walks and having fun on the beach! Mads is so friendly and great, clearly a massive dog lover and if I ever need to head away again she'll be my first choice 100% Thank you again for everything!!

Emily was flexible and responsive when making arrangements to take her out and provided plenty of updates of their walks on the beach. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or book again.

About: Hi, I'm Leo and I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I like to get out and about so I'm always walking my dog Bruce, he comes with me everywhere I go! I have experience caring for senior pets also and have a qualification in canine first aid. I understand that all dogs are different and need different breed specific stimulation to be happy and healthy and I will always try to weave some training in with all the playtime and walks! I'm currently available full-time with availability Mon-Fri and Saturday if required. I am able to be flexible to suit your requirements and meet the needs of your pet. I live in close proximity to woodland, open fields and enclosed paddocks. I also have access to an unfenced garden in my home. Monika is the first person to ever look after Monty and it was his first time not staying at our house. We were nervous about how he would be but it’s very obvious that he had a fantastic time away! She kept us very informed on how he was doing and I think the chance to spend time with another bigger dog in the house has really improved his behaviour. Super happy with the whole experience and would absolutely recommend Monika to look after your pup!

About: I hold a 4* rating with Cornwall Council for home dog boarding. I was brought up on a farm and have been around all sorts of animals all of my life. I have Buddy, a small Italian Greyhounf. I like to specialise in small dogs, and am happy to have dogs on an individual basis. Dogs are treated as I would my own, and have snuggly beds and blankets in all rooms! Plenty of walking and playtime will also be provided. I am currently at home full time so any dogs in my care will have my full attention! I intend to make this my full time job once I get settled in my new home. I will be council registered and will have full insurance. I have an enclosed front garden and an enclosed back garden which is paved. The gate can only be opened with a key code. I have various beds and crates if that is what your dog prefers.

About: I absolutely love dogs, and am looking for some company as I am by my self working from home every day. I live a short walk from the beach and can take the pups out for walkies on my lunch break! I work from home and make my own schedule, so can be flexible. Will take the pups out for a play and run on the beach on my lunch break. My partner works from home a few days a week, he has grown up woth dogs his whole life. We aren’t in a position to have our own dog at the moment so looking to find the very next best thing! We live in a spacious two bed flat, and have a dog friendly beach and park as our closest neighbours. Your dog would be free to roam around the house but we also have space for a crate.

It was my first time using a pet sitter & Lisa was amazing! She came over to meet me & my pets beforehand & see exactly what was needed etc. And while I was away she went above & beyond to care for my cat & chickens! My cat tends to be quite nervous with new people, but instantly took to Lisa. Lisa was so lovely & kept me updated the whole time I was away with plenty of photos & videos, which was so reassuring. About: Hi I’m Tass, I’m local to St.Ives and come from a big family with lots of siblings so we’ve always had family dogs growing up. I have recently had my first child and he really likes to keep me busy, so we’re always on lots of long walks on the beach or footpaths mainly. As long as you’re happy with your fur baby being around my baby- I’m happy! I’d never leave them unattended alone together and i almost always have baby in a wrap on my front anyway as that’s where he is most happy I am very close to the beaches here as I live in central St.Ives, we also have the island (a big grassy open space closeby and access to the coast paths in both directions, and they are such beautiful walks I’m usually available on weekdays in the daytime, at weekends and for holidays. I’m very used to looking after, bathing, walking and grooming dogs and very open & flexible to your dogs unique character and needs. Confident with both ends of the scale - puppies and small dogs and larger dogs that need a bit more strength to walk around and keep under control on a lead! I’m currently not working so can be extremely flexible over your dogs needs and care. I have my boyfriends daughter around at weekends but weekdays we’re home alone so depending on whether your doggy is happy around kids you can choose when I help you out! Keen for lots of walking and time outdoors so can work around what your dogs usual routine is. We have a small fenced garden but also an enclosed flat on one floor, if the weather is bad and we can’t be outside for the day. Happy to spend lots of time in town / on the beach though depending on how active your dog is.

About: I've taken care of cats & dogs since I was young and I love animals! I sadly can't have my own pet right now so looking to take care / walk others. I’m home most days as I’m a freelancer and work remotely, so your pet will have constant company and cuddles. I always provide dog walks through the day and lots of wee breaks too. I have a spacious flat near the beach & Dane park with an outside courtyard and plenty of space for your pet to roam around. I make sure to give pets lots of company and they aren’t left alone at all. Cuddles on the sofa are encouraged :)

Leaving our mini schnauzer with Mevan for the day worked out perfectly. We got to spend a dog-free day in St Ives while Mevan did a wonderful job looking after Lexi. She is right near a lovely park and Lexi had two walks. Lexi seemed quite happy when we picked her up. Parking/drop-off was convenient and it all went smoothly. Mevan was very communicative through the whole process. I would use her again.

About: I have always loved animals from a young age and have always looked after friends and family’s pets. I have my own little puppy, she is 7 months old and is very good with other animals. I would love to help others who need someone to either look after their pet or take on a walk. I work from home so can be flexible. I work from home so am super flexible and always put my furry friends needs first. I live quite an active life style as well so am always out and about making sure my pup gets the exercise and mental stimulation she needs. Makes sense to be able to help others who needs their pet looking after, walks or just check ins. I have an Italian spinone who is 7 months old, her name is Olive and she is super friendly, absolutely loves other animals and people. So if any pet decides to come here for the night, they will have company.

About: I am a dedicated pet lover based in Penzance, Cornwall, close to a variety of lovely trails with different types of terrain. I can accommodate any walking preference and am happy to walk dogs individually. I can walk 2–3 small dogs from the same family, or two medium to large dogs from the same family, depending on temperament and needs. I’m very experienced in caring for other people’s dogs and have owned several dogs myself, all larger breeds. I currently rely on public transport. I’m conscientious, reliable, and treat all animals with genuine love and care. I also offer day care and occasionally boarding in the owner’s home. I no longer provide boarding in my own home I am flexible with the hours I can offer. I work from home and am an early riser. I am adaptable and willing to work with pet owners to stick to dogs routines. I am a extremely trustworthy and respectful person. I have worked within numerous caring roles over the years including child minding, elderly & end of life care and managing a day centre for disabled adults. I have always loved animals and enjoyed making a fuss of people and pets. I've frequently looked after friends dogs when they've gone away and used to regularly walk a neighbours dog as well as looking after my own Golden retriever rescue, Greek mixed breed rescue & my Rottweiler and Doberman just passed.

About: Hi! I'm Rhianna and I love animals. I have just moved back to Falmouth, and will be working from home full time. I had to move to Oxford for two years for work and, now I’m back looking for new clients. Regular or casual! Though regular is preferred if you are looking for someone to frequently walk / sit your pet friends. A little about me: I grew up on my family's very rural, solar-powered, Welsh mountain farm, where we have Welsh sheep, Highland cows, horses, ducks, doves, geese, chickens, Guinea fowl, a cat, oh... and nine working collie dogs, and two silly Scottish terriers. I've spent my entire life around animals, and feel like I am fully versed in knowing what they need. Family friends have said that I was, “raised by the dogs,” as my family were always busy working the farm, and the dogs were my mentors and play mates. I’ve been around dogs all of my life, and I had my first own dog, Floss, at four years old. She was a lassie collie x border collie and she was my best friend. I then had her son, Oslo, who grew up with me, lived with me during university, and also after when I moved onto a sailing boat. He was (I know we all think this!), without doubt, the best dog a girl could’ve wished for, and it broke my entire heart when I lost him to lymphoma in the summer of 2021. I miss his fluffy presence terribly, and as a way to fill the void I thought I’d put myself on Rover to see if anyone wants a trusted and fun dog walker. It turns out that they do and since I’ve started I have walked many many wonderful pups (of all breeds!), sat many lovely cats, met many kind owners, and have had a lot of fun. I go for lovely long walks, love and understand dogs, and am offering my services as a house sitter, and dog walker. Please read my ‘testimonials’ to have a glance at what other owners think of my services. Most of my clients come from word of mouth, and so by no means all the clients I’ve worked with have left reviews. At this point I’ve worked with over 50 pet owners, with all types of pets: dogs of all sizes, chickens, ducks, cats of all temperaments, fish, horses, and even a snake! Over the past 15 years or so, I have gained experience dog walking for a boarding kennels in Wales, training dogs (both on the farm for working, and for agility too), various house sitting experiences, at a riding stables in the Welsh mountains, an estancia in Patagonia de Chile, and a Polo ranch in Argentina! A couple of extras: Please state if your dog cannot go off the lead when booking. This isn’t a problem, but will help me to plan our day better. I'm tidy, prompt, trustworthy, and reliable. I will leave your house exactly as I found it, if not a little tidier. Your dogs will be taken for regular toilet breaks, on lovely walks to suit their fitness and age - and will be treated as if they are my own. I like to spend as much time as possible outdoors. I’m active and enjoy most water based sports, horse riding, and am happiest out and about with a lead, paddle, or reins in hand. I am also comfortable administering medication to your pets, both oral, eye drops, and if needed jabs. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me! I can tailor your dog’s walk to fit in with my day, and to maximise the activities I can do with your pet - just let me know a day or so advance so I can organise myself! Your animals will live by the same rules that you set for them in your home so that it is consistent. I don’t offer boarding (unless we get to know each other very well, and your dog is relatively small!).

About: I grew up on a farm, surrounded by animals. I have owned dogs for many years, and trained my male Chocolate lab in obedience and agility and competed. I then got a female Rottweiler a few years later as a companion, who also I trained and did agility- but no competitions. After a few years without them, I got a shihtzu- moving to a small breed was very different- but amazing. Did some agility for fun only, she moved abroad with me - so I care for animals wholeheartedly. I groom her myself. I am an experienced handler and pet owner, who loves dogs all shapes and sizes. I am not working in August and part time from September, although can work from home. Therefore I am flexible with arrangements and ensure I am not away more than a few hours. I have a fenced in front garden, that is secure, as well as plenty of walkable routes around my home. I have a car to go for beach or woods walks.

About: Ben and I love dogs so much! We’ve been dog sitting since 2019 (though new to Rover!). Your pets will be treated like our own - completely spoilt with fusses, playing and big walks. We work from home and walk our dog twice a day for an hour each time (though can also take them separately if a less active walk is preffered). We have an enclosed garden filled with dog toys for them to roam freely and just have infinite love and patience for our doggy friends. Stick throwing, river paddles and lots of cuddles can be expected. We also love cats (I grew up with 6 - 3 at my mums and 3 at my dad’s) so really happy to do visits for either or sit in your home to keep them company. We’re flexible, reliable and responsible. We bought our house in Falmouth last year so very much here to stay and can be a holiday home for your dog or a reoccurring sitter as it suits you. We work remotely so can spend time with nervous doggies in their own homes to make them as comfortable as possible or keep cats company during the day too. We can have dogs with us (as long as they get on with ours) overnights or just for the day and can do walks as well. Our home is very dog friendly with dogs allowed on sofas and beds. We also really don’t mind sandy or muddy paws. Dogs come first in our house!

About: I’ve been caring for animals for many years. Growing up, I looked after my family dog, Taco, from the time I was old enough to take responsibility for her right through to her senior years. During that time, we also had another family dog, so I became used to caring for multiple dogs with different personalities and needs. Today, I have my own rescue dog, Bella, who has given me experience with building trust, establishing routines, providing enrichment, administering medication, and caring for an anxious dog. Looking after Bella has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and tailoring care to each individual dog. Alongside my experience with dogs, I’ve also cared for cats while their owners have been away. I’m happy to provide drop-in visits for cats, including feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, playtime, and giving them company while respecting their individual personalities and routines. I’m confident caring for pets of different ages and temperaments, from energetic younger dogs to slower senior dogs who need a gentler pace. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, feeding, playtime, medication (following your instructions), or simply keeping your pet company, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you have complete peace of mind while you’re away. I currently work morning cleaning shifts, which means I have availability around my work schedule for dog walks and drop-in visits. This will be after 7am. I can provide reliable care during my available hours and will always communicate clearly about my availability. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priority. When visiting your home, I will treat your space with respect, follow your instructions carefully, and make sure your pet feels safe and relaxed. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs.

About: Hi, thanks for stopping by. Dogs have always been a constant part of my life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I had my first dog when I was eight, and over the years growing up we had five dogs in total at home, often caring for several at once. That experience taught me early on how to manage different personalities, routines, and energy levels all under one roof. As an adult, I continued building on that foundation by volunteering as a dog walker with a Cornwall-based charity, The Cinnamon Trust, where I supported elderly and vulnerable owners by walking their dogs. That role helped me develop a calm, patient approach and a strong understanding of dogs who may need extra reassurance or gentle handling. Alongside this, for the past six years I have been dog sitting regularly for clients, so I’m very used to caring for dogs in different homes and adapting quickly to new routines, environments, and individual needs. What sets me apart is that I genuinely treat every dog as an individual. I take time to understand their routines, comfort levels, and quirks so they feel safe, settled, and happy while their owners are away. At the moment, pet care is a regular part of my daily life. I dogsit most days, so caring for dogs is fully built into my weekly routine rather than something occasional. My days are structured around the dogs I’m looking after, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific routines provided by their owners. Because I do this so frequently, I’m very used to adapting quickly to different dogs and households, and making sure each dog gets consistent care and attention throughout the day. I have two dogs, so I'm not able to have dogs at my house, but I am able to come to people's homes.

I’m currently setting up my own practice in Chiropractic and Sports Massage in Porthtowan and am looking for part time work to go alongside it looking after dogs and cats! It was my part time job when I was studying in Wales and have loved it so much I want to carry it on alongside normal work! Ensuring the garden is enclosed for example closed gate, but they also still have access to outside. Providing them spaces to relax and feel safe in your home.

Emily looked after our Labrador Milly during our holiday in Cornwall. Milly had a great time and we were almost worried she didn’t want to leave! Emily was flexible and responsive when making arrangements to take her out and provided plenty of updates of their walks on the beach. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or book again.

We were initially nervous as have never left Cobo with anyone but family before. Ellie was great with him and kept me updated throughout first day. When it came to second day he couldn't wait to go into house with her, both she and Ben have been amazing with him. We would unreservedly recommend them and will use them again. Thank you guys x

I have a 18 month old Sprocker Spaniel and an elderly cat at home to keep your best friend company.

Tabitha was super sweet and very chilled. We dropped our frenchie, Beanz with her for a couple days whilst we were at a wedding and Beanz seemed to have a great time - she came back exhausted which is always a good sign 😂 thanks so much Tabitha - really appreciated your flexibility and all round relaxed approach made the whole thing very easy.

Conny was wonderful, we have never left Otto with anyone before so we were worried how he would be left and the fact he is only 12 months old and can be a handful. There was no need to worry at all Conny was brilliant with him and gave him 2/3 days full of adventures! He went on loads of lovely walks, on the beach through streams and had a lovely time playing and being totally spoilt! Conny sent so many lovely photos of what Otto was doing to keep our peace of mind, I’m surprise Otto wanted to come home! I absolutely recommend Conny to anyone looking! 🐾🐾
