About: Currently we do not have pets of our own. However, I have grown up around animals, having a loved dogs, cats, horses ,& chickens. We will only ever have one client's pets staying with us at any given time . We enjoy long country walks. Experience with senior dogs and are confident administering medication. One of us works part time and the other is retired. This means your pet will have companionship throughout the stay We are able to be flexible around your pets needs We gave a large family home with a fenced garden. We take the care of your pet seriously and will adjust the care dependent on the pets needs and preferences. Providing the dog does not have issues limiting exercise, we offer one long ( at least an hour) walk and a shorter walk daily. In between there are toilet breaks. We only arrange to petsit if we are home the entire period of the stay.

About: Hi, I'm Leo and I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I like to get out and about so I'm always walking my dog Bruce, he comes with me everywhere I go! I have experience caring for senior pets also and have a qualification in canine first aid. I understand that all dogs are different and need different breed specific stimulation to be happy and healthy and I will always try to weave some training in with all the playtime and walks! About: I hold a 4* rating with Cornwall Council for home dog boarding. I was brought up on a farm and have been around all sorts of animals all of my life. I have Buddy, a small Italian Greyhounf. I like to specialise in small dogs, and am happy to have dogs on an individual basis. Dogs are treated as I would my own, and have snuggly beds and blankets in all rooms! Plenty of walking and playtime will also be provided. I am currently at home full time so any dogs in my care will have my full attention! I intend to make this my full time job once I get settled in my new home. I will be council registered and will have full insurance. I have an enclosed front garden and an enclosed back garden which is paved. The gate can only be opened with a key code. I have various beds and crates if that is what your dog prefers.

About: I’ve had my own dogs (cocker spaniels) for almost 20 years, cared for GSD (my dog’s best friend) Labrador’s & regularly play with packs of pointers where my horse lives. About: Hi I’m Tass, I’m local to St.Ives and come from a big family with lots of siblings so we’ve always had family dogs growing up. I have recently had my first child and he really likes to keep me busy, so we’re always on lots of long walks on the beach or footpaths mainly. As long as you’re happy with your fur baby being around my baby- I’m happy! I’d never leave them unattended alone together and i almost always have baby in a wrap on my front anyway as that’s where he is most happy I am very close to the beaches here as I live in central St.Ives, we also have the island (a big grassy open space closeby and access to the coast paths in both directions, and they are such beautiful walks I’m usually available on weekdays in the daytime, at weekends and for holidays. I’m very used to looking after, bathing, walking and grooming dogs and very open & flexible to your dogs unique character and needs. Confident with both ends of the scale - puppies and small dogs and larger dogs that need a bit more strength to walk around and keep under control on a lead! I’m currently not working so can be extremely flexible over your dogs needs and care. I have my boyfriends daughter around at weekends but weekdays we’re home alone so depending on whether your doggy is happy around kids you can choose when I help you out! Keen for lots of walking and time outdoors so can work around what your dogs usual routine is. We have a small fenced garden but also an enclosed flat on one floor, if the weather is bad and we can’t be outside for the day. Happy to spend lots of time in town / on the beach though depending on how active your dog is.
About: I have had cats my whole life and am known for my love for all of my cats, I ensure they are always watered and fed, I play games with them all the time. My cats always have full bellies and are very happy I am free most weekdays and some weekends, I am available more in the evenings but if you need a day let me know and I’ll see what I can do :) I ensure my cats are given time to go outside to get some fresh air and make sure they are fed twice a day, their litter is changed every single day. I of course make sure their water bowl is always full. My cats have a large scratch post and warm bed for them to use whenever they want. In the summer i provide my cats with frozen cat treats to keep them cool.

About: I've taken care of cats & dogs since I was young and I love animals! I sadly can't have my own pet right now so looking to take care / walk others. I’m home most days as I’m a freelancer and work remotely, so your pet will have constant company and cuddles. I always provide dog walks through the day and lots of wee breaks too. I have a spacious flat near the beach & Dane park with an outside courtyard and plenty of space for your pet to roam around. About: Hi! I'm Rhianna and I love animals. I have just moved back to Falmouth, and will be working from home full time. I had to move to Oxford for two years for work and, now I’m back looking for new clients. Regular or casual! Though regular is preferred if you are looking for someone to frequently walk / sit your pet friends. A little about me: I grew up on my family's very rural, solar-powered, Welsh mountain farm, where we have Welsh sheep, Highland cows, horses, ducks, doves, geese, chickens, Guinea fowl, a cat, oh... and nine working collie dogs, and two silly Scottish terriers. I've spent my entire life around animals, and feel like I am fully versed in knowing what they need. Family friends have said that I was, “raised by the dogs,” as my family were always busy working the farm, and the dogs were my mentors and play mates. I’ve been around dogs all of my life, and I had my first own dog, Floss, at four years old. She was a lassie collie x border collie and she was my best friend. I then had her son, Oslo, who grew up with me, lived with me during university, and also after when I moved onto a sailing boat. He was (I know we all think this!), without doubt, the best dog a girl could’ve wished for, and it broke my entire heart when I lost him to lymphoma in the summer of 2021. I miss his fluffy presence terribly, and as a way to fill the void I thought I’d put myself on Rover to see if anyone wants a trusted and fun dog walker. It turns out that they do and since I’ve started I have walked many many wonderful pups (of all breeds!), sat many lovely cats, met many kind owners, and have had a lot of fun. I go for lovely long walks, love and understand dogs, and am offering my services as a house sitter, and dog walker. Most of my clients come from word of mouth, and so by no means all the clients I’ve worked with have left reviews. At this point I’ve worked with over 50 pet owners, with all types of pets: dogs of all sizes, chickens, ducks, cats of all temperaments, fish, horses, and even a snake! Over the past 15 years or so, I have gained experience dog walking for a boarding kennels in Wales, training dogs (both on the farm for working, and for agility too), various house sitting experiences, at a riding stables in the Welsh mountains, an estancia in Patagonia de Chile, and a Polo ranch in Argentina! A couple of extras: Please state if your dog cannot go off the lead when booking. This isn’t a problem, but will help me to plan our day better. I'm tidy, prompt, trustworthy, and reliable. I will leave your house exactly as I found it, if not a little tidier. Your dogs will be taken for regular toilet breaks, on lovely walks to suit their fitness and age - and will be treated as if they are my own. I like to spend as much time as possible outdoors. I’m active and enjoy most water based sports, horse riding, and am happiest out and about with a lead, paddle, or reins in hand. I am also comfortable administering medication to your pets, both oral, eye drops, and if needed jabs. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me! I can tailor your dog’s walk to fit in with my day, and to maximise the activities I can do with your pet - just let me know a day or so advance so I can organise myself! Your animals will live by the same rules that you set for them in your home so that it is consistent. I don’t offer boarding (unless we get to know each other very well, and your dog is relatively small!).
About: I grew up on a farm, surrounded by animals. I have owned dogs for many years, and trained my male Chocolate lab in obedience and agility and competed. I then got a female Rottweiler a few years later as a companion, who also I trained and did agility- but no competitions. After a few years without them, I got a shihtzu- moving to a small breed was very different- but amazing. Did some agility for fun only, she moved abroad with me - so I care for animals wholeheartedly. I groom her myself. I am an experienced handler and pet owner, who loves dogs all shapes and sizes. About: Ben and I love dogs so much! We’ve been dog sitting since 2019 (though new to Rover!). Your pets will be treated like our own - completely spoilt with fusses, playing and big walks. We work from home and walk our dog twice a day for an hour each time (though can also take them separately if a less active walk is preffered). We have an enclosed garden filled with dog toys for them to roam freely and just have infinite love and patience for our doggy friends. Stick throwing, river paddles and lots of cuddles can be expected. We also love cats (I grew up with 6 - 3 at my mums and 3 at my dad’s) so really happy to do visits for either or sit in your home to keep them company. We’re flexible, reliable and responsible. We bought our house in Falmouth last year so very much here to stay and can be a holiday home for your dog or a reoccurring sitter as it suits you. We work remotely so can spend time with nervous doggies in their own homes to make them as comfortable as possible or keep cats company during the day too. We can have dogs with us (as long as they get on with ours) overnights or just for the day and can do walks as well. Our home is very dog friendly with dogs allowed on sofas and beds. We also really don’t mind sandy or muddy paws. Dogs come first in our house!

About: Hi I’m Tass, I’m local to St.Ives and come from a big family with lots of siblings so we’ve always had family dogs growing up. I have recently had my first child and he really likes to keep me busy, so we’re always on lots of long walks on the beach or footpaths mainly. As long as you’re happy with your fur baby being around my baby- I’m happy! I’d never leave them unattended alone together and i almost always have baby in a wrap on my front anyway as that’s where he is most happy I am very close to the beaches here as I live in central St.Ives, we also have the island (a big grassy open space closeby and access to the coast paths in both directions, and they are such beautiful walks I’m usually available on weekdays in the daytime, at weekends and for holidays. I’m very used to looking after, bathing, walking and grooming dogs and very open & flexible to your dogs unique character and needs. Confident with both ends of the scale - puppies and small dogs and larger dogs that need a bit more strength to walk around and keep under control on a lead! I’m currently not working so can be extremely flexible over your dogs needs and care. I have my boyfriends daughter around at weekends but weekdays we’re home alone so depending on whether your doggy is happy around kids you can choose when I help you out! Keen for lots of walking and time outdoors so can work around what your dogs usual routine is. We have a small fenced garden but also an enclosed flat on one floor, if the weather is bad and we can’t be outside for the day. Happy to spend lots of time in town / on the beach though depending on how active your dog is.

About: Hi. My name is Chantelle and I have been around dogs for my entire life. I grew up with collies and now have two of my own. I am a massive dog lover and am confident with all types of dogs. I have experience with reactive and nervous dogs having volunteered with rescue dogs as a walker in the past. I am able for drop ins to check on pets and also for dog walks which will be tailored to your pup. I currently part time and varying shifts in the NHS as a biomedical scientist so my schedule can change each week but I have lots of availability. I am able to drive and have doggy seatbelts in my car for safe transport to a nice spot for walks. I will cater walks to what your pup requires, whether short walks with lots of breaks for young/old dogs or long walks for more energetic dogs. I am experienced with nervous and reactive dogs. I would prefer a meet prior to taking dogs out for walks so I can learn about their needs and requirements and any special care that may need to be taken. I cannot offer care in my own home but can do drop ins to let your dogs out, feed and top up water and have a play with your pups. I would prefer to either meet up or discuss over the phone your dogs needs so that I can cater to their requirements.
About: I am currently studying an access course at college, for midwifery. I finish this course in a week and I’m looking to do something fun and different over the summer. Alongside this, for the past six years I have been dog sitting regularly for clients, so I’m very used to caring for dogs in different homes and adapting quickly to new routines, environments, and individual needs. I take time to understand their routines, comfort levels, and quirks so they feel safe, settled, and happy while their owners are away. At the moment, pet care is a regular part of my daily life. About: Currently we do not have pets of our own. However, I have grown up around animals, having a loved dogs, cats, horses ,& chickens. We will only ever have one client's pets staying with us at any given time . We enjoy long country walks. Experience with senior dogs and are confident administering medication. One of us works part time and the other is retired. This means your pet will have companionship throughout the stay We are able to be flexible around your pets needs We gave a large family home with a fenced garden. We take the care of your pet seriously and will adjust the care dependent on the pets needs and preferences. Providing the dog does not have issues limiting exercise, we offer one long ( at least an hour) walk and a shorter walk daily. In between there are toilet breaks. We only arrange to petsit if we are home the entire period of the stay.
