About: My wife and I are passionate Spaniel enthusiasts, having had dogs in our family all our lives. We currently share our home with two Springer Spaniels and have cared for many friends’ dogs, including Vizslas, Belgian Malinois, Boarder Collies, and Jack Russell’s - to name a few. Truth is we love all dogs. Our teenage children tend to keep to themselves. We are very active and enjoy walking or running the trails or beach walks with the spaniels if that’s what your dog prefers, we are equally as happy relaxing on the sofa with them for a good cuddle. Due to my work schedule, I can only offer dog services from Thursday evening through to Sunday evening - perfect for short weekend get aways. During holiday periods, I may be available for full weeks, and the calendar will be updated to reflect availability. Our dogs have their own dedicated room, and on sunny days they can freely access a secure garden. We believe in working collaboratively to create a plan that best suits your dog’s needs. If your dog is sociable, they are welcome to make friends in the dog room, but if they prefer their own space, we’re happy to accommodate that too. For walks, safety is our top priority, so leads are a must. Together, we can discuss your dogs behaviour on walks to ensure they have the best possible outing.

About: Throughout my life, I have been surrounded by the joyful energy and unconditional love that dogs bring. From a young age, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for various breeds, each with their unique personalities and quirks. Whether it was teaching my playful lab new tricks or enjoying quiet moments with my gentle fizzla, every experience has deepened my appreciation for these loyal companions. I've learned to understand their needs, from proper exercise and nutrition to the importance of socialization and mental stimulation. These experiences have not only shaped my skills as a dog sitter but have also enriched my life with countless memories of wagging tails and happy barks. I work from home five days a week, and I love spending my time outdoors with the dogs. Whether it's taking them on coastal walks or discovering new scenic routes along the shore, I enjoy exploring the beauty of nature with my furry companions. I have a spacious, enclosed garden that ensures your dogs are safe and secure while they enjoy their time outdoors. Water and food always available.

Kyal is awesome. He took the time to meet Albie (and me) before their walks together, showed up promptly (and let me know he’d arrived), sent pics of a very happy pooch, and I came home to a super content setter each day. What more could I ask for?! Thanks so much Kyal. Albie looks forward to seeing you again soon.

I used Sarah's dog walking services whilst we were staying in the area for a wedding. Communication was good and she asked questions to best tailor my dog's walk and sent photos and a report card straight after the walk. My dog was at ease with Sarah straight away and clearly enjoyed her walk! I would definitely use Sarah's services again when next in Cornwall.

About: ✅ DBS Checked ✅ Fully Insured ✅ Pet First Aid and CPR certified I have been pet sitting and dog walking for friends and family for the past 10+ years and have finally taken their advice to do so in a more serious capacity, having grown up with the sweetest and most gentle family dog which really drove my passion for animal care. Most of my experience has been centred around house sitting/overnight stays to care for pets, especially pets who are anxious or cannot be alone for long periods of time. Though born and raised in Helston, I have looked after a range of animals (from tropical fish to bearded dragons) for pet owners both in and outside the UK, but have recently moved back to Cornwall. My main focus is dogs/cats but I'm a quick learner and happy to help with whatever pet I can, so don't be afraid to reach out. - 10+ years experience with dogs (6 months to senior) - 7+ years experience with cats - Dog walking & Drop ins based in Helston only (for now) - House Sitting in Helston or anywhere accessible to public transport I currently have a fully free schedule so can easily fit around an owners needs. I may only take 11am-1pm off daily to fit in lunch or last minute/emergency drop ins. I make sure to follow a pet owners instructions to a tee and will treat their pet as if it were my own. I also make sure to leave any house I sit at in the same condition it was left in as that is just common decency and basic respect.

Rufus absolutely loved going out for walks with Ellen, she is so calm and knows how to treat dogs well. Rufus knew when she was coming to pick him up, and would start getting excited waiting by the door. The next time I need a dog walker I will be contacting Ellen first! Rufus and I would highly recommend her. 🐕🐾♥️

About: Having grown up with dogs, following this through with my own children, I have always loved and adored them. I have had spaniels, Rottweilers, Staffordshire bull terriers, mastiffs and a chihuahua so all shapes and sizes! I am currently working part time on a self employed basis so have plenty of opportunity to fit in any walks or drop ins within my schedule I always ensure to get a good descriptive explanation of how your pet is cared for at home so that they are not out of their routine. All safety precautions are taken when out on walks or if a drop in includes a run around in the clients garden.

About: I’ve lived with cats my whole life, from strays to kittens, at one point we had seven ! I also have experience house sitting, baby sitting and dog sitting. I’m currently back from travelling and searching for a more permanent job so I can completely work around any schedule needed. I’m happy to cover hours during the day, walks, or overnight stays ! I only offer services currently out of my own home as we have a cat and a tortoise that would be particularly against a canine visitor ! I aim to create a secure and trusted environment so you can travel/work/holiday stress free without worrying about the pets at home :)

About: I am currently studying an access course at college, for midwifery. I finish this course in a week and I’m looking to do something fun and different over the summer. I currently work the odd shift in community care - so I’m pretty calm and patient. I am willing to take care of all kinds of animals, in my family home, we currently have; snake, tortoise and a dog. (Dog is not mine). I have had many cats and kittens of my own in the past, I have also had many dogs. I would love to have my own dog, but the family dog isn’t that great with others. I can administer medication to your fur babies and take them on long walks. I’m willing to drive them to better areas for the walks. Do you need to go away, but you’re worried about leaving your elderly pet. I am willing to care for them while you are away.

About: I’ve always had pets growing up as a child, I have taken care of 4 dogs since I was 8. My love for them keeps growing with the years. I have taken care of any animal found abandoned on the street or badly treated, for me they all deserve care and love. I have volunteered at animal sanctuaries so I feel confident to take care of any sort of dog or cat. I am used to having lots of pets around, I love to walk them, cuddle, feed and bathe if needed. I am used to all sort of ages and breeds. I’m a freelance writer and I work mostly from home. I have plenty of flexibility and free time during the week. I share my house with my two friends who both adore animals and would give them much love. I miss my family dogs very much and taking care of your pet would make me so happy. I am always looking forward on spending some time with a four legged friend! I have a quiet backyard, it has a lovely shade and it’s very peaceful, so it is perfect for a day sitting. For the night I am happy to have your pet over unless it’s a big dog then I would prefer staying over at the owner’s home. I am very tidy and respectful, I will leave your house just as I have found it and I do believe the animal will feel safer being at their own home.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for many years. Growing up, I looked after my family dog, Taco, from the time I was old enough to take responsibility for her right through to her senior years. During that time, we also had another family dog, so I became used to caring for multiple dogs with different personalities and needs. Today, I have my own rescue dog, Bella, who has given me experience with building trust, establishing routines, providing enrichment, administering medication, and caring for an anxious dog. Looking after Bella has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and tailoring care to each individual dog. Alongside my experience with dogs, I’ve also cared for cats while their owners have been away. I’m happy to provide drop-in visits for cats, including feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, playtime, and giving them company while respecting their individual personalities and routines. I’m confident caring for pets of different ages and temperaments, from energetic younger dogs to slower senior dogs who need a gentler pace. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, feeding, playtime, medication (following your instructions), or simply keeping your pet company, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you have complete peace of mind while you’re away. I currently work morning cleaning shifts, which means I have availability around my work schedule for dog walks and drop-in visits. This will be after 7am. I can provide reliable care during my available hours and will always communicate clearly about my availability. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priority. When visiting your home, I will treat your space with respect, follow your instructions carefully, and make sure your pet feels safe and relaxed. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs.

About: My own dog, who is now 10, is my pride of joy. My life revolves around looking after her and she truly is a family member to me. I have taught her all of her tricks and habits. I did get lucky with her intelligence but having looked after other peoples dogs I have worked to train them too with great success. I am a very patient person who brings a calm and inviting demeanour to dogs, becoming their comfort base when we are in busy areas. I absolutely adore getting the privilege to look after dogs and I treat them how I treat my own- like family. I have experience dealing with aggressive animals, oral medication, cleaning of wounds and infections, elderly and young pups. I am currently a University student at home for the holidays so am available every day. My schedule will revolve around the dogs and can accommodate your needs. I live in a safe neighbourhood with a fenced in garden and plenty of space for the pet to have free roam of the house. They are welcome on furniture including the bed, but if you would like them to remain crate-trained I can also easily accommodate that.
