About: I had dogs growing up and we have recently adopted a greyhound. I love fussing over neighbours dogs and taking them for occasional walks. I pride myself on good organisation and communication so expect a smooth booking. I work from home and have flexible hours so I'm looking for something to get me out walking more and away from the desk, in the afternoon or evenings. About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember and have experience caring for my own dogs, each with their own personalities and needs. Living with dogs has taught me patience, consistency, and how important it is to pay attention to what they’re trying to communicate. I recently spent two months volunteering with the Soi Dog Foundation, where I walked and cared for around 15 dogs a day. It was a brilliant hands-on experience working with lots of different temperaments and it strengthened my confidence in handling dogs calmly and safely. I’m especially interested in dog behavior and enjoy learning more about how dogs think and communicate. Because of this, I pay close attention to each dog’s comfort and personality so I can make sure walks are enjoyable and suited to them. I recently lost my rescue dog, Laika, who meant the world to me. I’m an active person and spend most of my time outdoors, so daily walks and exercise are already a natural part of my routine. As I enjoy longer walks and spending time in nature, I’m always happy to make sure dogs get plenty of stimulation, exercise, and attention. I always prioritise safety, trust, and consistency when caring for dogs in an owner’s home or during walks. During walks, I use positive communication a d gentle handling, and ensure dogs are always safely leashed, unless otherwise agreed with the owner. “Kerri was wonderful with my dog whilst we went on holiday for a week. She stayed at my house to ensure that he was in his own surroundings and she left my house spotless. She took great care of Norman and sent regular updates to me whilst I was away. Kerri took him on daily walks and gave him lots of cuddles. She is very knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviours and she handled my dogs nervousness well. She was professional throughout all interactions. She is very friendly and I highly recommend. “Cara completed another sit for my crazy lot (3 dogs, a cat and some pond fish), which takes a lot of patience. She looks after all the animals extreme care, and caters to there needs. Cara always goes above and beyond, and this time came to our rescue when I stupidly forgot to leave a house key out for her to gain access, which I am so very grateful for. About: My mum had a full time pet grooming business growing up so from 13 years old I always wanted to step in and help wherever I could even if it was to give out treats, I love both cats and dogs and have been pet sitting both aswell as reptiles for 3 years, i can give oral medications if necessary and i’m confident with care for disabled animals who may need expressing etc. i have personal experience with deaf and blind animals. id love to help you out where possible for dogs and cats of any size, breed and temperament :) I sometimes work one day a week on a Sunday in the afternoon helping my mum with her dog grooming business if necessary so I have lots of time to give to other pets and I’m super flexible with notice! :) At the pet owner’s home I am more than happy to do walks as frequently as possible I’m a very active person so this is no problem! I’d love to make the sitting unique to each pet and owner and making notes to your specific routine is a must, my communication is very fast and you can contact at any time, I’m not afraid to contact you if I’m unsure on something.
