While we were away Tara sent us updates and photos of Bane, he was having a great time at the beach. When we got back Bane was very happy and relaxed and the house was exactly as we left it. About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember and have experience caring for my own dogs, each with their own personalities and needs. Living with dogs has taught me patience, consistency, and how important it is to pay attention to what they’re trying to communicate. I recently spent two months volunteering with the Soi Dog Foundation, where I walked and cared for around 15 dogs a day. It was a brilliant hands-on experience working with lots of different temperaments and it strengthened my confidence in handling dogs calmly and safely. About: Hi, I’m Lauren! I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life in Cornwall and have always had such a love for them. We had a golden retriever as our family dog from when I was little, and later adopted a collie, so I’m very comfortable with different breeds, personalities and routines. I also regularly look after friends’ dogs, including Zora the red fox lab, Arthur and Norman the cockerpoos, and KyKy the cavapoo. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, relaxed and well cared for while their owners are away. I work from home Monday–Friday, usually 9am–6pm, with long lunches and lots of flexibility throughout the day for walks, toilet breaks and playtime. I live close to both the beach and fields, so there are plenty of lovely places for dogs to explore and enjoy. My home is calm, cosy and dog-friendly, and I always try to make dogs feel as settled and comfortable as possible. Whether your dog loves long walks, cuddles on the sofa, playtime or simply having company during the day, I’ll make sure they get lots of love and attention while they’re with me. About: My mum had a full time pet grooming business growing up so from 13 years old I always wanted to step in and help wherever I could even if it was to give out treats, I love both cats and dogs and have been pet sitting both aswell as reptiles for 3 years, i can give oral medications if necessary and i’m confident with care for disabled animals who may need expressing etc. i have personal experience with deaf and blind animals. id love to help you out where possible for dogs and cats of any size, breed and temperament :) I sometimes work one day a week on a Sunday in the afternoon helping my mum with her dog grooming business if necessary so I have lots of time to give to other pets and I’m super flexible with notice! :) At the pet owner’s home I am more than happy to do walks as frequently as possible I’m a very active person so this is no problem! I’d love to make the sitting unique to each pet and owner and making notes to your specific routine is a must, my communication is very fast and you can contact at any time, I’m not afraid to contact you if I’m unsure on something.
