Would highly recommend Greg, the dogs loved him and enjoyed all the walks they got. House was left clean and tidy and we were kept up to date about the dogs while we were away giving us piece of mind.

About: I had dogs growing up and we have recently adopted a greyhound. I love fussing over neighbours dogs and taking them for occasional walks. I pride myself on good organisation and communication so expect a smooth booking. I work from home and have flexible hours so I'm looking for something to get me out walking more and away from the desk, in the afternoon or evenings. I will treat your pet as if it were my own and ensure they have a fun and safe experience, either walking or playing inside.

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember and have experience caring for my own dogs, each with their own personalities and needs. Living with dogs has taught me patience, consistency, and how important it is to pay attention to what they’re trying to communicate. I recently spent two months volunteering with the Soi Dog Foundation, where I walked and cared for around 15 dogs a day. It was a brilliant hands-on experience working with lots of different temperaments and it strengthened my confidence in handling dogs calmly and safely. I’m especially interested in dog behavior and enjoy learning more about how dogs think and communicate. Because of this, I pay close attention to each dog’s comfort and personality so I can make sure walks are enjoyable and suited to them. I’m reliable, calm, and comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I’ll always keep you updated and make sure your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for. I recently lost my rescue dog, Laika, who meant the world to me. Spending time with dogs again feels like a positive way to stay connected to something I care deeply about while I wait until the time feels right to adopt again. I am self-employed and lead a flexible life, which means I can easily adapt my schedule around your dog’s needs. I’m an active person and spend most of my time outdoors, so daily walks and exercise are already a natural part of my routine. As I enjoy longer walks and spending time in nature, I’m always happy to make sure dogs get plenty of stimulation, exercise, and attention. I always prioritise safety, trust, and consistency when caring for dogs in an owner’s home or during walks. I follow the owner’s instructions and make sure each dog is cared for in a way that matches their routine, personality, and comfort level. I’m observant and attentive to body language, and I take time to understand each dog’s needs so they feel secure and relaxed. During walks, I use positive communication a d gentle handling, and ensure dogs are always safely leashed, unless otherwise agreed with the owner. I also understand how important communication is, so I provide regular updates and am always happy to share how the walk went, including photos if requested. My goal is to make owners feel completely confident leaving their pet in my care.

Tara looked after my dog Bane while we were away for 3 nights. She came around to meet Bane before hand and to find out about his routine. Bane loved her. While we were away Tara sent us updates and photos of Bane, he was having a great time at the beach. When we got back Bane was very happy and relaxed and the house was exactly as we left it. I would definitely recommend Tara and use her again.

About: Caring for my neighbor's dog and looking after my beloved cat have been deeply rewarding experiences. When entrusted with my neighbor's dog, I embraced the responsibilities of regular walks, playtime, and feeding, forging a heartwarming bond and learning valuable lessons in patience, consistency, and reliability in pet care. At home, my quirky and independent cat has taught me the importance of understanding and respecting an animal's individuality, from keeping her well-fed to ensuring a clean litter box and providing ample affection. Both experiences have deepened my passion for pet care, reinforcing my commitment to giving animals the love and attention they deserve, recognizing that their trust and companionship are truly priceless. I’m currently working part time, I only work in mornings/midday so I’m free every evening and have other days where I’m free all day to look after any pets Caring for my cat in my own home and looking after my neighbor's dog in their house are two delightful yet distinct experiences in the realm of pet care. My beloved cat, a constant presence in my home, enjoys the comforts of a well-established routine. This includes ensuring she's well-fed with her preferred food, maintaining a clean litter box, and providing daily doses of love and attention tailored to her quirky personality. Her independent nature reminds me of the importance of respecting an animal's individuality, letting her set the boundaries while offering a warm lap and playful interactions when she's in the mood. On the other hand, tending to my neighbor's dog requires adapting to a new environment. In their house, I become the caretaker and companion, responsible for providing regular walks, playtime, and feeding, all while adhering to the familiar routines and preferences that the dog is accustomed to. This experience teaches me adaptability, patience, and the significance of reliability in pet care, as I must ensure the dog feels comfortable and secure in a different setting. Both experiences reinforce my passion for pet care and remind me that each animal, whether in their home or mine, deserves tailored attention, respect, and love. It's a privilege to provide the care and companionship these wonderful animals need to thrive and be happy.

About: Hi, I’m Lauren! I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life in Cornwall and have always had such a love for them. We had a golden retriever as our family dog from when I was little, and later adopted a collie, so I’m very comfortable with different breeds, personalities and routines. I also regularly look after friends’ dogs, including Zora the red fox lab, Arthur and Norman the cockerpoos, and KyKy the cavapoo. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, relaxed and well cared for while their owners are away. I work from home Monday–Friday, usually 9am–6pm, with long lunches and lots of flexibility throughout the day for walks, toilet breaks and playtime. I live close to both the beach and fields, so there are plenty of lovely places for dogs to explore and enjoy. My home is calm, cosy and dog-friendly, and I always try to make dogs feel as settled and comfortable as possible. Whether your dog loves long walks, cuddles on the sofa, playtime or simply having company during the day, I’ll make sure they get lots of love and attention while they’re with me. I know how important trust is when leaving your dog with someone, so I’ll always follow your routine and instructions carefully to help them feel safe and at home. I’m also very happy to send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re happy and settled while you’re away. I work from home full time with flexible hours and long lunches, so I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, cuddles and regular toilet breaks. I want pets to feel as settled and comfortable as possible while they’re with me. I’ll follow their usual routine closely and make sure they get plenty of walks, attention, playtime and cuddles throughout the day. As I work from home, they’ll rarely be left alone and I’m always happy to send photo updates too.

Katie was brilliant at responding and communicating during our booking. Then was in touch and punctual to help 'dog-sit' at our hotel whilst we went out for dinner. She was calm and reassuring with regular updates and photos of how Willow settled during the evening. It was a special weekend for us and so lovely to know Willow was well looked after. Highly recommend Katie to anyone looking for their dogs to be looked after with thought and care.

About: I have taken care of my friends and family’s dogs for many years, including walking, feeding and bathing and generally showing them lots of love. I also fostered a rescue for a year before he found his forever home, so have first hand experience with the daily looking after of a dog. We have no dogs in the house currently. I work from home a lot and I am free for boarding and dog walking throughout the week in the mornings, lunchtime and evenings and all weekend. I am free for general boarding and pet care continually. I have a fully walled back garden and gated front garden, on a quiet back street in Penzance, with a large park 20 metres away.

Clare was superb, communication beforehand was great. Clare made a big effort to get on with Freddie and looked after him fabulously. They both seemed to have a good time and everything was perfect when we arrived back home. We were very grateful and sure that Freddie will be looking forward to Clare visiting again ?

We would definitely recommend Art! He is a lovely friendly guy and really put me at ease about leaving our puppy for the first time. Wilbur is at the full on and chewy stage and Art coped with it all super well, playing with him in the house and garden until he tired himself out. We came back from an evening out and puppy was calm and happy. Very impressed.

Cara looked after our 2 furry boys for the day whilst we went to a wedding. She came for a meet up before hand so that she could meet us and our dogs which we really appreciated as it’s such a scary thing leaving your precious fur babies, especially as it’s a first time for us and in a place that we don’t know all that well as holiday makers. Cara made us feel at ease and the dogs loved her straight away. She sent us lots of beautiful photos of our boys enjoying their walk and time with her. Can’t thank you enough, Cara! x

About: Welcome to my dog walking and sitting service, where your furry friend will receive the love and attention they deserve. Just moved back to Cornwall so decided to get this back up and running! As an experienced puppy and dog handler, I understand that every dog is unique, and I absolutely adore them all. I’m confident that your pup will love me too! With a background as a friendly and enthusiastic part-time adult social carer, my home is a safe, kind, and loving environment for your dog. Growing up with a large family of Irish Setters, I’ve always been surrounded by dogs and have cared for up to five at a time—yes, even during the busy holidays when family visits! I’m well-versed in handling all types of dogs, from energetic puppies to more seasoned seniors. I offer tailored training sessions for puppies, helping them build good habits and become well-mannered companions. I also provide specialized care for senior dogs, ensuring they receive the extra patience, comfort, and attention they need as they age. Having shown my Irish Setters, Merlin and Oscar, at championship dog shows, and soon Nelson, I have developed a deep understanding of dog behavior and training techniques. I learned from my Nan, who has over 60 years of experience in dog handling and caring, and her wisdom has shaped the way I approach every dog I meet. Whether it’s a fun walk, an exciting training session, or overnight sitting, I offer a range of services to suit your dog’s needs. Whether it’s helping your puppy learn basic commands, giving your senior dog a gentle walk, or simply providing playtime and companionship, I’m here to ensure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved. I can’t wait to meet your pup and share some special moments together! Working part time so free after 2pm in the week and available to house sit over weekends. Happy to stay for longer periods if necessary In my home, I create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where your pet feels at ease. I ensure they have access to cozy spots to relax, nutritious meals, and plenty of playtime and stimulation. For overnight stays, I provide a calm atmosphere, with regular walks and evening cuddles, making sure they feel secure and happy. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I maintain their usual routine, providing familiar surroundings while offering the same level of attention and care. I ensure they’re well-fed, exercised, and mentally stimulated. I can follow any specific instructions you provide, from administering medications to managing training or behavior routines. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every pet with the utmost care and love.

Lara kindly looked after George when we went to a performance at the Minack Theatre. It was the first time we used a sitter for him and we were rather nervous about it. Lara put our mind at ease and hit it off with George straight away. She went out of her way to help us with a last minute booking and did an absolutely amazing job looking after our precious boy. We will definitely use her again and can’t recommend her highly enough. Thank you so much for your help Lara x
