“Tara looked after my dog Bane while we were away for 3 nights. She came around to meet Bane before hand and to find out about his routine. Bane loved her. While we were away Tara sent us updates and photos of Bane, he was having a great time at the beach. When we got back Bane was very happy and relaxed and the house was exactly as we left it. I would definitely recommend Tara and use her again.”

About: I am a dedicated pet lover based in Penzance, Cornwall, close to a variety of lovely trails with different types of terrain. I can accommodate any walking preference and am happy to walk dogs individually. I can walk 2–3 small dogs from the same family, or two medium to large dogs from the same family, depending on temperament and needs. I’m very experienced in caring for other people’s dogs and have owned several dogs myself, all larger breeds. I currently rely on public transport. I’m conscientious, reliable, and treat all animals with genuine love and care. I also offer day care and occasionally boarding in the owner’s home. I no longer provide boarding in my own home I am flexible with the hours I can offer. I work from home and am an early riser. I am adaptable and willing to work with pet owners to stick to dogs routines. I am a extremely trustworthy and respectful person. I have worked within numerous caring roles over the years including child minding, elderly & end of life care and managing a day centre for disabled adults. I have always loved animals and enjoyed making a fuss of people and pets. I've frequently looked after friends dogs when they've gone away and used to regularly walk a neighbours dog as well as looking after my own Golden retriever rescue, Greek mixed breed rescue & my Rottweiler and Doberman just passed.

Communicative, sending updates and pictures throughout, confident with the dogs and happy to adapt when we had to ask her to look after a second dog after another sitter cancelled on the in laws. She came to us for a meet a greet after bad weather scupper a walk, and we really appreciated that. Listened to all instructions and we ultimately came home to two happy and relaxed dogs! About: I have taken care of my friends and family’s dogs for many years, including walking, feeding and bathing and generally showing them lots of love. I also fostered a rescue for a year before he found his forever home, so have first hand experience with the daily looking after of a dog. We have no dogs in the house currently. I work from home a lot and I am free for boarding and dog walking throughout the week in the mornings, lunchtime and evenings and all weekend. I am free for general boarding and pet care continually. I have a fully walled back garden and gated front garden, on a quiet back street in Penzance, with a large park 20 metres away.

About: Hi, I’m Lauren! I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life in Cornwall and have always had such a love for them. We had a golden retriever as our family dog from when I was little, and later adopted a collie, so I’m very comfortable with different breeds, personalities and routines. I also regularly look after friends’ dogs, including Zora the red fox lab, Arthur and Norman the cockerpoos, and KyKy the cavapoo. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, relaxed and well cared for while their owners are away. I work from home Monday–Friday, usually 9am–6pm, with long lunches and lots of flexibility throughout the day for walks, toilet breaks and playtime. I live close to both the beach and fields, so there are plenty of lovely places for dogs to explore and enjoy. My home is calm, cosy and dog-friendly, and I always try to make dogs feel as settled and comfortable as possible. Whether your dog loves long walks, cuddles on the sofa, playtime or simply having company during the day, I’ll make sure they get lots of love and attention while they’re with me. I know how important trust is when leaving your dog with someone, so I’ll always follow your routine and instructions carefully to help them feel safe and at home. I’m also very happy to send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re happy and settled while you’re away. I work from home full time with flexible hours and long lunches, so I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, cuddles and regular toilet breaks. I want pets to feel as settled and comfortable as possible while they’re with me. I’ll follow their usual routine closely and make sure they get plenty of walks, attention, playtime and cuddles throughout the day. As I work from home, they’ll rarely be left alone and I’m always happy to send photo updates too.

She also did a couple of meet ups before to get Luka used to her, he was so pleased to see her when she came back l.House was left clean and tidy as well. About: I have had cats my whole life and am known for my love for all of my cats, I ensure they are always watered and fed, I play games with them all the time. My cats always have full bellies and are very happy I am free most weekdays and some weekends, I am available more in the evenings but if you need a day let me know and I’ll see what I can do :) I ensure my cats are given time to go outside to get some fresh air and make sure they are fed twice a day, their litter is changed every single day. I of course make sure their water bowl is always full. My cats have a large scratch post and warm bed for them to use whenever they want. In the summer i provide my cats with frozen cat treats to keep them cool.
