I work fully remotely and on flexible hours, which means I can take my laptop anywhere and fit my schedule around your pets’ needs. Your pets will have as much company as they want during my time with them, and I can walk them multiple times a day if needed.

Safety and trust are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or yours, I make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and understood. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and comfort level, always respecting their boundaries and following their routine closely. In my home, the environment is calm, tidy, and pet-friendly with no other animals or children, so it’s ideal for nervous or sensitive pets. When I’m in an owner’s home, I treat it with the same respect I do my own, keeping everything clean and secure. I always keep doors and gates safely closed, and never take risks with off-lead time unless agreed in advance. My goal is to provide a peaceful, trusted space where pets can feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. We do not have a fenced back garden, this is something to note if your pet requires lots of free outdoor time.

Pet care experience
With 19 years of pet sitting experience, I bring a calm, caring, and confident approach to looking after both cats and dogs. I previously owned a nervous dog and worked closely with a behavioural specialist to help build his confidence, which taught me how to read animal body language and respect their boundaries. I always take each pet’s lead when getting to know them and tailor my care to their comfort level. I’ve walked and cared for a wide variety of breeds and temperaments, from lively pups to shy rescue cats. I drive a spacious Peugeot Partner, fitted with a dog guard (available on request), and pets are welcome to travel wherever they feel most comfortable. I’m available to sit either in your home or mine and also offer holiday cover. I work remotely, have no children or pets of my own, and live in a friendly, all-female, pet-friendly house share (all in our 30s) with no other animals. Reliable, experienced, and flexible, I follow your instructions carefully and treat every animal as if they were my own. You can trust me to keep your pets safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

It has been great to leave our dog Ernie with Billie. She was more than happy to meet us initially and do a trial walk - allowing us to pass on info that would help looking after him easier for all. I was able to leave Ernie with her for the day and was given regular updates as to his wellbeing, so from my perspective felt reassured. When I collected Ernie at end of day, he was a happy chap having been walked during the day and the recipient of many cuddles and strokes. I would recommend Billie - she has been communicative, understanding of Ernie's needs and reassuring. Top job and thanks.
Billie was excellent. She knew exactly how to manage our very lively pup, Noodle, and sent regular updates over the weekend. She is friendly and reliable. She looked after our home and we came back to a very happy Noodle. Would not hesitate to recommend.
