“Laura, her husband and their lovely dog looked after my Cavapoo as if he was part of their own family. From the moment we left him, we felt completely reassured that he was in safe, caring hands. Laura was incredibly attentive throughout the day and kept us updated with lots of lovely photos and videos, which made such a difference. We could see him out enjoying walks, playing happily with their dog, relaxing around the house, and curled up comfortably on the sofa. It was clear he had settled in so well and was having a brilliant time. After his overnight stay, he was completely zonked out in bed, which said it all. He had obviously been well cared for, entertained, and made to feel right at home. We would highly recommend Laura. She made the whole experience feel easy and reassuring, and we were so pleased to see how happy and relaxed he was. Next time we are in that part of the world, we will definitely be saying hello to Laura and her family again.”

About: I am a designer who works from home, after always having dogs I miss their company a lot. Instead of getting a dog I decided to host dogs in my house. I live in a cottage in St Austell, tucked away in a quiet part of this seaside town. I have a lovely big garden with sunshine and shade where they can play or potter about. The cottage is cool and quiet and has everything a doggy would need. Your dog will never be left alone as I work here too. I only take one dog at a time or dogs from the same household so they will have a really personal experience that will be tailored to them and their needs. There is a wealth of glorious beaches and river trails only minutes away for playtime, walks and relaxing. I try and make every day like a doggy holiday even if they are only staying a short time. I have owned dogs myself as well as having grown up with one always in the household. I had my last dog from a puppy and fully trained him, we did agility classes together too. I have also owned a rescue dog in the past who I worked closely with a trainer for to understand his body language and his needs so I do have experience with dog behaviour. I work from home during the week so your dog will have lots of 1:1 attention as I need to take regular breaks away from the screen. I always walk in the morning, lunchtime and the end of the day as a way to get outdoors and it’s such a treat to do that alongside a doggy friend. I can offer a pet free, smoke free house with a fenced in garden. Please do bring anything your dog likes along to make them comfortable, maybe a bed and some favourite toys for playtime

It took her a while to warm up, but she seemed very happy and content once she’d settled in. Shaun was very professional and kept me updated through regular messages and photos. I grew up around my family’s dogs and I’ve also dog walked for friends, family and people I know, so I’m comfortable with different breeds, sizes and personalities. About: I’ve had dogs all my life growing up and had 2 dogs in my adult life, both from puppies. I am used to being around high energy dogs that require a lot of attention and stimulation. I have experience with reactive dogs and dogs with behavioural issues. I have house trained many dogs overtime. I absolutely adore dogs and being in their company makes my heart happy! I work full time from home Monday- Friday with Friday afternoons off. I am available most weekends for dog boarding. My work is very relaxed so plenty of time to give your dog attention, toilet breaks and walks during my lunch breaks and after work. I live on my own in a 2 bedroom flat. I don’t have a garden but there is a shared communal garden for toilet breaks. I live a 3 minute walk from a beach and some other beautiful walks. I also drive and I’m happy to take your dog out and about on my travels. I often like to go to dog friendly cafes to read so your dog would be more than welcome to join me. “Thea came for a meet and greet and collected the keys at this visit. She then sent some great photos of Geronimo the Gerbil while I was away which was reassuring. I had to return from my trip early due to health issues, but all was well on my return to the house and keys were returned the same week. “I would give Emily 10 stars if I could! We had to leave our two cats for two weeks and Emily was absolutely the perfect choice! We have a very extroverted cat and one who panics and had stress induced paralysis at meeting strangers from abuse in her early life and from day one Emily was somehow able to bond with both of our girls. She took pictures, videos and gave detailed accounts of all of her visits, she put a smile on our faces every time we heard from her! Our anxious cat seemed to absolutely love Emily, she let her give her a stroke and came out multiple times when Emily got there, our extroverted cat was the exact same and loved her visits! We asked Emily if she could do an extra day after we booked which was incredibly last minute and marked unavailable on her schedule, and despite leaving for Paris the same day, Emily still came and visited our girls to make sure they were okay! Em carried out everything we asked of her and went above and beyond on many occasions, even using some of her own rubbish bags for emptying the litter as we had run out of them ourselves. We will 1000% be asking Emily for her services again if we have to leave for a while! We were so worried about leaving the girls as we had never been away longer than two days before but as soon as Emily followed up with us after her visit we knew we had made the right choice and we had absolutely zero stress during our time away. If anybody is in the same position as us and you’re worried about choosing the right person to take care of your fur babies, Emily should absolutely be your first choice! A massive Thankyou again to you Emily! You are an absolute star 💗⭐”

Gina, from the moment we met, made us feel relaxed and in safe hands. Our small holding included goats, chickens, rabbits and cats and they all adored her! She went above and beyond, from brushing to talking to them to reassure when they timid ones showed signs of feeling anxious. We are so grateful! And will definitely be using Gina again. About: My family has always owned dogs so I have a lifetime of personal experience. I volunteered and multiple animal sanctuaries and zoos growing up and I worked for pets at home for more than three years where i specialized in dog care. I am available most days and weekends for any bookings and will normally be happy to take bookings on short notice. The safety of the pets come first and for that reason I would make sure to supervise them and if in the garden make sure its enclosed and has no open gates. I work part time and have a very flexible daily schedule. The best thing to do is contact me with the dates and times you require and I will do my best to accommodate. The safety of your pets is my top priority, on our walks I like to keep them on the lead untill in certain they will listen to commands from me.

About: I trained me Sprocker Spaniel who is still a puppy. This involved basic commands and recall. He is well behaved, well socialised and a happy dog :) I run my own business so have good flexibility during the week and at weekends. I won't be out for more than 3 to 4 hours and I can walk, feed and socialise them inbetween. I will be there to look over them most of the day..I may leave for 3 to 4 hours but will make sure they've been walked and fed before so.

Luckily Harriet was free, Agatha loved her time there, (was whining with excitement on the 2nd day as we turned down to the house). About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’d walk neighbours dogs growing up which gave me a strong understanding of their different personalities, needs and behaviours from an early age. About: I have taken care dogs since I was 14, training guide dogs, including the family dog and voluntary work which led to paid work for walking neighbours dogs and at a dog kennel walking dogs and cleaning kennels. I have been dogsitting on and off for 16 years and rescued 3 dogs. I have done more regular sits since a friend from church asked me to dog sit, then I used Trustedhousitters as a sitter for 3 years and have done 12 different successful sits of which a few have been asked back, so I also know how to take care of people’s homes and multiple pets in the home. Your dogs will be happy with me and treated like family, they will have play time and rest time and I always stick to the rules that you have set for them and their meal times including what they eat. I would never feed your dog human food or over treat them or punish them. If I am sitting I would take them out for a walk in the local areas up to 3 times a day but they will have plenty of toilet breaks. If I am only walking your dog, I will keep them on the lead and go for as much time as they need. Your dog will be in safe hands with me. I am an at home full-time student, I start my last year in October and finish in May 2027. I will have time to go for dog walks anytime as I can pick my days and times to study. I cannot bring pets into my home currently as my 2 cats are the proud owners but I can meet you for a pick up or take care of a dog at your home

About: I trained me Sprocker Spaniel who is still a puppy. This involved basic commands and recall. He is well behaved, well socialised and a happy dog :) I run my own business so have good flexibility during the week and at weekends. I won't be out for more than 3 to 4 hours and I can walk, feed and socialise them inbetween. I will be there to look over them most of the day..I may leave for 3 to 4 hours but will make sure they've been walked and fed before so.
About: I love meeting and looking after dog and puppies, I have a 1 year old puppy myself and know how much they are apart of the family and how hard it can be to find someone to look after them I can walk or drop-in around my work schedule so I would be able to do mainly morning but I do always have Sunday and Monday off every week I have a very playful 1 year old puppy who have had since she was 10 weeks old, we wild not be able at this time to take any dogs home for a long period of time

About: I began by independently fostering a pregnant cat who I rescued from the streets, providing housing and care throughout her pregnancy and raising her kittens to ensure their health and development. This experience led me to a role at an animal rescue, where I worked for approximately a year caring for rescue cats and dogs, managing all aspects of their care. A key part of this work involved confidence building, to ensure good quality of life. Consistent handling to help the animals feel secure and settle into their new environment. I’m currently working from home so I will be in your dogs/cats company for majority of the day. Typically I do a daily big walk for myself so this is something your dog can potentially join in on. I live in a small studio apartment in the country side with a large garden (not fenced in) lots of land surrounding me, and many nature walks. There are friendly dogs on the property which your dog can befriend depending on your preference for that.
About: new to this but I have had various pets over the years, my cat is 16 years old and still going strong, no experience but willing to learn I work full time, but always free after midday, afternoon walks and check ins would all be done after this time, I drive so easy to get to places I will always follow any instructions left for me, dogs will always be kept on leads for every one's safety, dietary needs will be met

About: I’ve had dogs all my life growing up and had 2 dogs in my adult life, both from puppies. I am used to being around high energy dogs that require a lot of attention and stimulation. I have experience with reactive dogs and dogs with behavioural issues. I have house trained many dogs overtime. I absolutely adore dogs and being in their company makes my heart happy! I work full time from home Monday- Friday with Friday afternoons off. I am available most weekends for dog boarding. My work is very relaxed so plenty of time to give your dog attention, toilet breaks and walks during my lunch breaks and after work. I live on my own in a 2 bedroom flat. I don’t have a garden but there is a shared communal garden for toilet breaks. I live a 3 minute walk from a beach and some other beautiful walks. I also drive and I’m happy to take your dog out and about on my travels. I often like to go to dog friendly cafes to read so your dog would be more than welcome to join me. I’m not worried about dogs being on my furniture etc, I want them to feel comfortable and welcome in my home. I’m happy to dog sit in your home as long as there is WiFi and a kettle for a cuppa!

It’s never easy leaving part of your family with someone you don’t know, but my mind was put at ease immediately when I dropped him off. Hector, our Australian Labrador had a great time and I’m sure didn’t want to come home. Comms were fantastic throughout, we received regular messages accompanied each time with photos of him, out for a runs visiting parks and many other areas it seemed. He also made himself at home on the sofa and bed but Nicola always checked first what was allowed. If we’re back in the area Hector will most certainly be staying again, and we can’t recommend highly enough.”
