About: I’m from the UK doing a ski season at mount Washington due to the lack of snow I’ve got a lot of time on my hands. I would like to spend it with some furry friends. I have over 10 years experience in dog walking and dog care and over five years experience in housesitting. I am the owner of three cats and me and for four dogs so I understand all of their basic and not so basic needs I am available for anything from a quick half an hour dog walk to bath and overnight care :) Due to the lack of snow, I currently have many days off with where I am available to help out. I have a standard of three days of a week and I am able to pick them so I can fit in with anyone’s care needs I live in an apartment with my partner we are non-smoker and have access to many trail walks and parks We have a closed door balcony, so when looking after feline, they will be nice and safe

“Harriet really helped us out of a tight jam super last minute. We’d had a mix up with our normal kennel just 2 days before we were due to go on holiday for a week and she responded to our plea immediately. The dogs loved their time with her, she gave us regular updates and photos and it was clear how much care she took of our two dogs whilst they were with her. Nice long walks, beaches, cuddles they had a blast. She was even kind enough to collect and drop them off, and she shampooed them before returning. Couldn’t have asked for more! Highly recommend! Would happily use Harriet’s services again xx”

About: Hi, I'm Gemma! I'm 40 and a lifelong dog lover. I've grown up with dogs and have regularly looked after friends' dogs over the years, so I'm now excited to offer a home-from-home service to other dog owners. I have a lovely Labrador called Ginny, who is almost 10 years old. She's extremely friendly, calm and absolutely loves meeting other dogs. She's very well trained, non-aggressive and easy-going...although she's a also a typical lab who's definitely easily won over with a bit of food and attention! I live with my partner, Joe, in a comfortable, dog-friendly home where visiting dogs can relax and feel part of the family. Dogs are welcome on the sofa and will sleep downstairs, so they can settle into a familiar and relaxed routine. We have a fully secure back garden and we're in a fantastic location for dog walks. There's an open field and woodland area directly opposite our home, with beaches and a canal also within walking distance as well as plenty of other wooded areas to explore. I also have a secure car suitable for transporting dogs, so I'm happy to take dogs out for walks or adventures further afield when appropriate. I'm happy to care for dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages, provided they are house-trained and not destructive or prone to chewing. I only take a maximum of two visiting dogs at a time, so I can give each dog plenty of individual attention and make sure they feel comfortable and settled. I'm at home all day from Friday through Sunday. During the week I work during school hours, so my weekday availability is more limited. My aim is to give your dog a safe, relaxed and loving home while you're away with plenty of attention, cuddles, lovely walks and, of course, the occasional treat! I'd always be happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so we can make sure your dog and Ginny are a good match. My routine allows me to offer the most availability from Friday through Sunday, when I’m at home all day and can give dogs plenty of attention, company and regular walks. During the week I work during school hours, so my availability is more limited during the daytime. I’m happy to work around each dog’s usual routine as much as possible, including their normal feeding, exercise and rest times. I’m also able to provide a calm, relaxed home environment where dogs can settle into their own routine while they’re staying with me. Your dog’s safety and happiness are really important to me. About: I grew up surrounded by animals and have always loved caring for and learning about them. Over the years I’ve had many different animals of my own, and I currently have my little dog Kai, who is a very important part of my family. My love for animals has also been influenced by my dad’s work in wildlife conservation, so I’ve grown up with a real appreciation for animals and their individual needs. I’ve also had experience working in a veterinary practice, which I absolutely loved, and I’m now starting my training to become a Student Veterinary Nurse. I’m naturally very patient, gentle and attentive with animals, and I really enjoy getting to know their individual personalities and routines. I understand how much trust is involved in leaving your pet with someone else, so I’ll always treat them with the same care and attention I’d want for my own pets. At the moment, I have a very flexible schedule, which means I can dedicate plenty of time and attention to the animals in my care. I’m currently taking some time to focus on gaining more experience with animals before starting my training as a Student Veterinary Nurse. My days are generally quite flexible, so I can fit around your pet’s usual routine rather than expecting them to fit around mine. I enjoy getting outdoors, going for walks and spending time with animals, so pet sitting and dog walking is something I genuinely enjoy doing. I’m happy to discuss individual routines, feeding times, walks and any other requirements your pet may have, and I’ll always do my best to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my biggest priorities. I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can feel like a big decision, so I’ll always take the time to understand their routine, personality, likes and any specific needs before looking after them. I’m happy to care for pets in their own home, where they can stay in a familiar and comfortable environment, and I’m also able to welcome pets into my home where appropriate. My own little dog is friendly and used to being around other animals, and I would always make sure any introductions are done carefully and at a pace that is comfortable for everyone. I’m responsible, attentive and safety-conscious, and I’ll keep you updated while you’re away so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
