“Very happy with Herbie’s care this evening. Herbie was very nervous when we arrived and I worried that he might not settle but Laura slowly won him around with her kind and gentle approach. When we went to collect him he was clearly happy and relaxed I really appreciated the photos that Laura sent through the evening which put my mind at rest. Thankyou Laura for a positive experience.”

“We were so grateful to find Tracie when we needed local help while in Cornwall for work. Our dog clearly had a wonderful time with her, and we really appreciated all the updates throughout. It was clear that our dog enjoyed all the fun and experiences she had during her stay. River (Tracie's dog) is such a lovely dog and we loved seeing them play and it was so nice for our dog to have a furry companion for a few days. Tracie’s communication was super clear, and we felt completely at ease knowing Annie was in such good hands. Thank you so much, Tracie! x”

“Birdie seemed to make herself at home with Sophie, We got regular updates and photos and had zero issues, we would highly recommend Sophie to any looking for someone easygoing and responsible”

About: The cat in the photo is Tiger Lily and she is technically my sister's cat but she's more just an additional member of the family and head of the house. My Cats Protection rescue, Suki, died years ago, she was old when I adopted her but we had 3 lovely years together. My cat sitting services have so far extended as far as Bristol and Hove- During the Bristol sit I was gifted a caterpillar and a long piece of grass which was a sign of acceptance according to the cat's responsible adult. And in Hove I was gifted live mice which are tricky to catch once they're in the house but the boys were clearly testing my hunting skills. Currently available 24/7 due to a slipped disc! Feel free to leave your dog with me for company during the day, although I can't take them for a walk at present, I can have them on lead in the court yard for a sniff about and a wee. I am naturally intuitive with animals and enjoy gaining their trust at their pace. Currently very restricted with services offered due to a slipped disc.
About: I am a designer who works from home, after always having dogs I miss their company a lot. Instead of getting a dog I decided to host dogs in my house. I live in a cottage in St Austell, tucked away in a quiet part of this seaside town. I have a lovely big garden with sunshine and shade where they can play or potter about. The cottage is cool and quiet and has everything a doggy would need. Your dog will never be left alone as I work here too. I only take one dog at a time or dogs from the same household so they will have a really personal experience that will be tailored to them and their needs. There is a wealth of glorious beaches and river trails only minutes away for playtime, walks and relaxing. I try and make every day like a doggy holiday even if they are only staying a short time. I have owned dogs myself as well as having grown up with one always in the household. I had my last dog from a puppy and fully trained him, we did agility classes together too. I have also owned a rescue dog in the past who I worked closely with a trainer for to understand his body language and his needs so I do have experience with dog behaviour. I work from home during the week so your dog will have lots of 1:1 attention as I need to take regular breaks away from the screen. I always walk in the morning, lunchtime and the end of the day as a way to get outdoors and it’s such a treat to do that alongside a doggy friend. I can offer a pet free, smoke free house with a fenced in garden. Please do bring anything your dog likes along to make them comfortable, maybe a bed and some favourite toys for playtime
“Willow had a great stay with Michelle overnight whilst we were at Eden. I met Michelle for a virtual meet and greet before booking and knew immediately that Willow would be in great hands. We came back to a very happy doggy, and it was clear she’d been really well looked after and had a lovely stay. I’d definitely recommend Michelle and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again next time we're in the area 😊”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and have hands‑on experience with a wide range of personalities and needs. At home we have a 10‑year‑old who we’ve raised from a puppy, as well as a rescue dog who joined our family later on, so I’m used to supporting both confident, settled dogs and those who need a gentler, more patient approach. Caring for dogs has always been part of daily life for me, and that experience shapes the calm, reliable and attentive care I offer through Meadow Mutts. Dog care is my full‑time focus, and it fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day for walks, visits, playtime and settling dogs in. Our own dogs are part of our everyday rhythm, and welcoming guest dogs into that routine feels completely natural. Whether it’s weekday walks, daytime care or overnight stays, I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention, consistency and company. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. Our home is calm, secure and set up for dogs to relax, with safe enclosed areas and plenty of space to settle in. I supervise dogs closely, follow their usual routines and take time to understand their needs, whether they’re confident, nervous or somewhere in between. With our own well‑mannered dogs and a peaceful rural setting, visiting dogs enjoy a safe, steady environment where they can feel completely at ease.

“Absolutely love Lucy, this is Spots 3rd time staying there now. Spot loves being there with her family, so welcoming, lots of updates throughout his stay and we can see how loved and well taken care of he is. Thank you again, he'll be back xx”

“Best dog sitter I could have asked for, accepted a late notice request and has been absolutely amazing with my girl. She’s had the best time she could have, kristina is amazing with animals and makes sure to take top care of them🩷 will definitely feel comfortable about my girl coming to kristinas again🩷”

“We absolutely loved Conny! We felt like Cedric Brown when he found Nanny McPhee! Or the Banks’s when they hired Mary Poppins! Conny is quite literally ‘practically perfect in every way’ and always has treats in her pockets! 🐾 Our little terrier, Hector, took to her straight away and he had the most amazing holiday with her while we were away. Conny sent us so many updates and lovely pictures of Hector and his adventures with her that we didn’t worry about him at all and were able to enjoy our trip. I can’t say enough good things about Conny and would highly recommend her if you have to leave your fur baby behind while you’re travelling. We have already booked our next stay with her. 5 stars all round!”

“Abi is an excellent dog sitter. Both of our dogs adore her! They were so excited when she arrived to look after them for the weekend, it was wonderful to see. I had no concerns leaving them in her care, and revived regular pictures and updates; they had a fabulous time and I'm sure Abi will become a regular in their lives whenever we are away.”

“Sophie was amazing with my 2 dogs. One suffers with bad separation anxiety. I got updates daily and both boys loved their time with Sophie and Spencer. She was attentive, understanding and I managed to feel safe knowing they were with her. She definitely helped my anxious dog come out of his shell a lot more, so will definitely book with her again.”

About: I have always had cats from a young age, from litters of kittens to now owning 2 indoor pedigree cats this has given me a wide range of skills on how to care for each breed and how different they are from each other. I am very reliable and have a good understanding of cats behaviour and can pick up on different cues making sure your cat is receiving the best care

“Thea did a great job when we had a long weekend away. Our three cats were extremely well looked after and the regular updates and photos she sent each visit were very reassuring and helped us enjoy the time away without worry. We would not hesitate to have Thea cat sit again.”

About: Family cats and cat sitting has taught me to love the unique way of cats. I love to make sure they are looked after and have enough attention depending on their preferences! I have 2 cats of my own currently.
“I would give Emily 10 stars if I could! We had to leave our two cats for two weeks and Emily was absolutely the perfect choice! We have a very extroverted cat and one who panics and had stress induced paralysis at meeting strangers from abuse in her early life and from day one Emily was somehow able to bond with both of our girls. She took pictures, videos and gave detailed accounts of all of her visits, she put a smile on our faces every time we heard from her! Our anxious cat seemed to absolutely love Emily, she let her give her a stroke and came out multiple times when Emily got there, our extroverted cat was the exact same and loved her visits! We asked Emily if she could do an extra day after we booked which was incredibly last minute and marked unavailable on her schedule, and despite leaving for Paris the same day, Emily still came and visited our girls to make sure they were okay! Em carried out everything we asked of her and went above and beyond on many occasions, even using some of her own rubbish bags for emptying the litter as we had run out of them ourselves. We will 1000% be asking Emily for her services again if we have to leave for a while! We were so worried about leaving the girls as we had never been away longer than two days before but as soon as Emily followed up with us after her visit we knew we had made the right choice and we had absolutely zero stress during our time away. If anybody is in the same position as us and you’re worried about choosing the right person to take care of your fur babies, Emily should absolutely be your first choice! A massive Thankyou again to you Emily! You are an absolute star 💗⭐”

“If I could give more stars I would!!! Fine has been incredible. Our little family hasn’t been away abroad before and with a 1&2 year old in the group I had a lot to organise. Gina, from the moment we met, made us feel relaxed and in safe hands. Our small holding included goats, chickens, rabbits and cats and they all adored her! She went above and beyond, from brushing to talking to them to reassure when they timid ones showed signs of feeling anxious. We are so grateful! And will definitely be using Gina again. She’s opened a door for us to be able to go on more family adventures Thank you Gina 🙏🏻 xx”

“I highly recommend George. He took care of our dog in a very reliable and careful way. Our dog got along very well with his two spaniels right away. He spent a lot of time outdoors with our dog. His dedication was exemplary. Communication with him was quick and smooth.”

When looking after pets. I understand how important routine is, including regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention, especially as different breeds have different needs. With my active lifestyle, i genuinely enjoy walks, runs, and spending time outdoors, so keeping dogs happy and exercised comes naturally to me. When I'm caring for pets in their own home, I'm always respectful, tidy and minimal, making sure everything is kept just as the owners expect.

About: As a passionate animal enthusiast, I’m dedicated to giving every pet the love and attention they deserve. Living and working in the heart of Cornwall, I’m lucky to be surrounded by stunning beaches, countryside, and trails — the perfect setting for enriching dog walks and outdoor adventures. I provide professional, compassionate care with a focus on your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness. I never do pack walks, ensuring a calm and enjoyable experience tailored to each dog’s personality and needs. Whether it’s energetic puppies, anxious dogs, or senior pets needing gentle care, I adapt each walk or visit accordingly. As your local dog walker, sitter, and boarder, I offer flexible and personalised services including: • One-to-one or small group dog walks • Home boarding in a safe, loving environment • Pet sitting and pop-in visits for all animals I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and trained in pet first aid — giving you total peace of mind while you’re away. I also love meeting new pets and their owners to create a custom care plan that fits perfectly with your routine. Let’s chat and see how I can help make your pet’s day a little brighter! Pet care is a core part of my daily and weekly routine — not just a job, but a lifestyle I truly love. Each day is planned around the needs of the pets I care for, whether that’s morning walks along the Cornish coast, midday pop-in visits, or evening cuddles for pets staying with me overnight. I build my schedule with plenty of time and flexibility to give every animal my full attention and care. No two days are the same, which is what I enjoy most. From active dogs needing long countryside walks, to older pets who prefer a slower pace and some quiet companionship, I make sure each pet gets the right level of care, stimulation, and love. Weekly, I also spend time checking in with pet owners, updating care plans, and continuing my learning in animal behaviour and first aid. Being fully committed to this work means pets are never an afterthought — they’re at the heart of how I organise my life. Whether pets are staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs, safety, comfort, and trust are at the heart of everything I do. In My Home: I create a calm, secure, and loving environment where pets feel like part of the family. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible to reduce stress — from feeding and sleeping schedules to playtime and quiet moments. My home is pet-safe, with secure outdoor space, and I only board a small number of animals at once to ensure individual attention and a peaceful atmosphere. I also carry out careful meet-and-greets beforehand to make sure each pet is a good fit for the home environment. In the Pet Owner’s Home: When visiting or staying in a pet’s own home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would my own. I stick to the owner’s instructions closely, ensuring pets feel safe and relaxed in their familiar surroundings. I always take time to build trust with the animals I care for, using gentle, positive approaches to make each interaction reassuring and enjoyable. In both settings, I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and trained in pet first aid. I keep open communication with pet owners through regular updates, photos, and check-ins — so they feel confident and reassured while they’re away.

“Esther and her family were lovely and Suzie had a great time. Suzie was made to feel at home and had a lovely long walk. Very convenient for visiting the Eden project! Would book again if we are ever in the area again.”

“Kristina was brilliant - kindly looking after Sheila while she was on heat (and not taking any other bookings as a result). Kristina sent through photos of Sheila enjoying her day walking with some other dogs and having some well earned rest at Kristina’s house. I felt very comfortable leaving Sheila with Kristina - she is very knowledgable and kind.”

“We booked Laura to look after our dog Brian for the day whilst we visited the Eden Project for the day whilst on holiday. Brian had a wonderful day with Laura, she provided a calm, settled environment for him. I would definitely recommend Laura.”

“Gus has had a wonderful time with Louise and her partner we can't thank her enough! When we collected Gus he seemed really calm and responsive like he's been on his own little retreat from his family. Louise communicated really well and let me no everything that Gus was getting up to including finding out about Gus's needs.”

“Chelle was an absolute dream to have as a dog sitter - we got to do a virtual meet beforehand of the humans and dogs, I got updates, photos and videos throughout the day which was so reassuring and I came back to a very hapoy dog. Very clear that Chelle knows what she is doing and cares about the pups. Will definitely be looking to book in again when I'm down :D”

“An absolute 5-star experience! Having recently moved to the Bodmin area, it was incredibly daunting to look for a new sitter for our beloved and pampered dog, Barley. However, meeting Terry and Susan (Megan's parents) beforehand completely put our minds at ease as they would be looking after him on the day. Barley spent the day with them yesterday whilst we attended our daughter's graduation in Exeter, and we could not have asked for better care. They looked after him brilliantly, treated him like one of the family, and sent us lovely picture updates which we really appreciated. Terry and Susan made us feel so comfortable and reassured from start to finish. Barley loved his cuddles with Terry (The Dog Whisperer). We are incredibly grateful to have found such caring, trustworthy sitters locally and will definitely be booking with them again!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’d walk neighbours dogs growing up which gave me a strong understanding of their different personalities, needs and behaviours from an early age. In addition I’ve spend 5 years caring for exotic animals which has taught me patience, attention to detail and confidence handling a variety of temperaments. I am a proud Cavapoo owner which has deepened my understanding of daily routines, training consistency, exercise needs and the importance of trust and companionship. As a dog walker, I bring reliability, compassion and genuine enthusiasm to every walk. Whether your pup loves energetic adventures or prefers a steady, relaxed stroll, I tailor each walk to suit their individual needs. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and wellbeing are always my top priority, and I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I work full time, but I make dog care a priority in my daily routine. I’m available mornings and evenings during the week for walks, feeding, playtime and lots of love and attention. I also have the flexibility to WFH throughout the week when needed, which can absolutely be discussed prior to booking. On weekends I’m fully flexible and happy to dedicate extra time for longer walks, outings, cuddles or special care routines. Your dog’s comfort, happiness and consistency are always my top priority and I’m committed to providing a safe loving environment. I’m lucky to have a good sized garden that is fully gated and securely fenced, providing a safe space for dog’s to enjoy fresh air and outdoor time. It’s perfect for supervised play, short exercise sessions, or simply relaxing in the sunshine. Safety is always my priority so dogs are never left unattended outside and I make sure the space stays clean and secure at all times.

About: I have taken care dogs since I was 14, training guide dogs, including the family dog and voluntary work which led to paid work at a dog kennel walking dogs and cleaning kennels. I have been dogsitting on and off for 16 years and rescued 3 dogs. I have done more regular sits since a friend from church asked me to dog sit, then I used Trustedhousitters as a sitter for 3 years and have done 12 successful sits of which a few have been asked back, so I also know how to take care in people’s homes and multiple pets in the home. Your dogs will be happy with me and treated like one of the family, they will have play time and rest time and I always stick to the rules that you have set for them and their meal times including what they eat. I would never feed your dog human food or over treat them or punish them. I would also love to take them out for a walk in the local areas up to 3 times a day but they will have plenty of toilet breaks. If I am only walking your dog, I will keep them on the lead and go for as much time as they need. Your dog will be in safe hands with me. I am an at home full-time student, I start my last year in October and finish in May 2027. I will have time to go for dog walks anytime as I can pick my days and times to study. I cannot bring pets into my home currently as my 2 cats are the proud owners but I can meet you for a pick up or take care of a dog at your home
About: I have looked after senior dogs with life limiting illnesses and anxiety over the years. I focus on maintaining calm environments for anxious dogs and psychological stimulation. Hi there! I am Michelle (Chelle) , a dog-loving person who treats every pup like family. Whether your furry friend loves long walks, belly rubs, or just snoozing in a sunny spot, I am here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I have several years of experience with rescues and often look after friends and family's dogs. I do work Part-time in a hybrid community role, so i have flexibility to ensure your pup is given quality care. This also givies me lots of time to share a little extra love to your pup! My wife is home evenings and weekends.
About: I trained me Sprocker Spaniel who is still a puppy. This involved basic commands and recall. He is well behaved, well socialised and a happy dog :) I run my own business so have good flexibility during the week and at weekends. I won't be out for more than 3 to 4 hours and I can walk, feed and socialise them inbetween. I will be there to look over them most of the day..I may leave for 3 to 4 hours but will make sure they've been walked and fed before so.
About: Hi there, my name is Kate! I would love to offer dog walking services to your furry friends! I absolutely adore dogs and I am missing their company! If you are heading away for the weekend or you simply want to get your dog out more, please get in touch! I have plenty of experience taking care of large and small dogs and would treat them like my own. I also have experience working with horses so am not afraid of getting my hands dirty! I currently have full daytime/evening availability and can be flexible on locations. More than happy to discuss your needs and find something this works for both of us! They can make my home their home and I will do my best to create a safe and happy environment for them! I am also happy to come to your home if this will be an easier adjustment and make your doggo more comfortable.
About: My experience with just dealing with pets is having my own animals from young. I've had fish, hamster, guinea pigs and dogs. My first dog was a rescued Boxer, Ruben. My first proper puppy was a Pug, Dexter, then we rescued Alfie another Pug at the same age as Dexter (around 4yrs.) My house sitting and pet experience was living in an annexe above my landladys garage. She had a working cocker, Zeva. She'd trust me with looking after her house and Zeva while she had to go away for work or on holiday. That was over 2yrs of me living there. I even took Zeva away with my boyfriend and I as we went to Bournemouth for a weekend I was looking after her. We got a pet friendly accomodation and she had the best time on the beach and in the sea playing with her ball. I work 3 days a week, so have plenty of time for sitting and walking pets. I like to walk daily, so dog walking is well suited with my lifestyle. I care for pets in an owners home by communicating with the owners in the first instance to see what responsibilities they expect of their sitter to make sure their animals are in perfect care.
About: Taken care of dogs my whole life; I am now I’m a Police Officer aspiring to become a Police Dog Handler. The combination of my caring and responsible nature with my passion for dogs makes me a good choice for taking your dog. I work on a rolling shift pattern working 4 days on & 4 days off a week. I therefore have lots of free time, just have to organise in advance:) I would take care of your pet at all times when it is in my care. I don’t will aim to have all vet details incase of emergencies and u will always be available to get in contact with.
“Lara is a very friendly walker who my dog really liked from the start. We chatted about Daphne’s needs and she listened and took in board what I said. She’s clear about what she can offer in terms of availability which I find so helpful.”

Thank you so much, Tracie! x”

“Amber is lovely and made us feel very comfortable that Lily would be very well looked after. We will definitely use Amber again when we are in Plymouth if she is available.”

“Baffy was so well looked after by Hannah and Jordan, many thanks. Secure private garden, regular walks to a network of local parks and the beach and plenty of playing in between. His likes and preferences were all catered for. I would unhesitatingly recommend Hannah and Jordan for your dog's worry-free stay”

“I cannot rate Callan highly enough. He asked sensible questions in advance, gave clear information about his set up at home, and when they met he and Dexy seemed to get on like a house on fire. We were able to relax and be dog-free for 24 hours knowing that Dex was in good hands. Thank you so much Callan!”

“George was an amazing dog sitter! He was reliable, kind, and clearly loves animals. My dog was happy, well cared for, and comfortable the entire time, which gave me real peace of mind. George kept me updated and treated my dog like his own. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter, and I’ll definitely be booking him again.”

“A wonderful dog sitter and I couldn’t recommend her more! Anindita took excellent care of my dog and her regular updates and photos of how much fun he was having put my mind completely at ease.”

“I was worried about Winston going away as he rarely goes anywhere. Mark and Fee allowed us to visit first and made me feel far more relaxed and reassured. Winston was more than happy to stay with them and calm and happy when we picked him up. They updated me to let me know he was ok. Highly recommended, thanks Mark”
