About: Hi, I'm Leo and I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I like to get out and about so I'm always walking my dog Bruce, he comes with me everywhere I go! I have experience caring for senior pets also and have a qualification in canine first aid. I understand that all dogs are different and need different breed specific stimulation to be happy and healthy and I will always try to weave some training in with all the playtime and walks! I'm currently available full-time with availability Mon-Fri and Saturday if required. I am able to be flexible to suit your requirements and meet the needs of your pet. There was no need to worry at all Conny was brilliant with him and gave him 2/3 days full of adventures! He went on loads of lovely walks, on the beach through streams and had a lovely time playing and being totally spoilt! On pick up 24 hours later - although happy to see us - she kept going back to his front door waiting to be let back in! We had photos sent while she was there, and updates. Would definitely use Callan again. We're from London and was attending a festival in Perranporth. We holiday in Cornwall a few times a year and now we have Callan, we can visit places where dogs aren't allowed which we've had to avoid previously.”

About: I am a designer who works from home, after always having dogs I miss their company a lot. Instead of getting a dog I decided to host dogs in my house. I live in a cottage in St Austell, tucked away in a quiet part of this seaside town. I have a lovely big garden with sunshine and shade where they can play or potter about. The cottage is cool and quiet and has everything a doggy would need. Your dog will never be left alone as I work here too. I only take one dog at a time or dogs from the same household so they will have a really personal experience that will be tailored to them and their needs. There is a wealth of glorious beaches and river trails only minutes away for playtime, walks and relaxing. I try and make every day like a doggy holiday even if they are only staying a short time. I have owned dogs myself as well as having grown up with one always in the household. I had my last dog from a puppy and fully trained him, we did agility classes together too. I have also owned a rescue dog in the past who I worked closely with a trainer for to understand his body language and his needs so I do have experience with dog behaviour. I work from home during the week so your dog will have lots of 1:1 attention as I need to take regular breaks away from the screen. I always walk in the morning, lunchtime and the end of the day as a way to get outdoors and it’s such a treat to do that alongside a doggy friend. I can offer a pet free, smoke free house with a fenced in garden. Please do bring anything your dog likes along to make them comfortable, maybe a bed and some favourite toys for playtime

About: I moved to Cornwall for university and soon found the passion for surfing. I now live in Cornwall and have been looking after dogs for several years now. Moving to Cornwall on my own has made me very independent, but also very flexible. Which means pet care fits easily into my day to day routine. About: I have taken care of animals from an early age growing up on my family’s ranch in Montana. Fitness is important to me and don’t mind going above and beyond for your pets needs through exercise if required. I have a fully enclosed garden and would primarily be interested in doggy day care or dog walking in Truro area, although I’m open to boarding if the dates work and the dog is well behaved. I’m currently available to take on pet sitting jobs. I am a much more affordable and safe option than a traditional doggie day care and have excellent ratings and reviews. I volunteered and multiple animal sanctuaries and zoos growing up and I worked for pets at home for more than three years where i specialized in dog care. I am available most days and weekends for any bookings and will normally be happy to take bookings on short notice. The safety of the pets come first and for that reason I would make sure to supervise them and if in the garden make sure its enclosed and has no open gates. I then got a female Rottweiler a few years later as a companion, who also I trained and did agility- but no competitions. My family helped cover his veterinary treatment while the shelter cared for him during his recovery. I later returned to Morocco to volunteer at the shelter for a month and completely fell in love with him, so I arranged for him to come home with me to the UK. While volunteering, I also met Amara. She quickly stole my heart too, but at the time I wasn't able to adopt her. A year and a half later, after moving into my home in Cornwall and knowing she was still waiting for her forever family, I travelled back to Morocco and brought her home as well. Both dogs have settled beautifully into life in Cornwall and love having canine visitors. Their rescue journeys have taught me so much about dog behaviour, patience, confidence building and making every dog feel safe and comfortable in a new environment. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your dog, and I treat every dog in my care as if they were one of my own. I am currently working part time (around 20 hours a week), so have plenty of flexibility to care for your pets! Monday morning or evening. Tuesday & Thursday afternoons or nightime. Friday & Saturday all day. I understand that each pet is different, so I would abide any rules, routines and instruction set by the owner. Tailoring my care to each individual animal, from energetic pups to laid back felines!
About: My whole life I’ve been surrounded by dogs, I even grew up with Irish wolfhounds, so know how to handle the larger breeds. About: I’ve grown up with pets since I was 5, and they were a huge part of my life! We bred our Bernese mountain dog and weaned 5 puppies, which was a gorgeous time and means I have experience with new born puppies, as well as big dogs. I am extremely reliable and have a great understanding of looking after dogs. Whilst I am not yet ready to commit to owning my own dog, I would love the opportunity to spend time and bond with someone else’s dog - dogs deliver the best endorphins!
