About: Born into a veterinary household, I grew up caring for every type of animal — from hamsters and tortoises to lambs, cats and dogs. As an adult, I’ve always shared my home with dogs, from tiny Shih Tzu puppies to giant Newfoundlands. This lifelong experience has given me a natural instinct for understanding what every dog needs to feel safe and loved. At the points of life where Iv been able to live with animals such a university or housing restrictions I have volunteered at either a dog walking charity or a small grooming business. Currently taking a break from cardiac Nursing, as youngest child is in their first year of school. Once school run is done we will either head to Trevaunance Cove, Portreath beach, Idless woods. Whichever you your pup would prefer. Then home for a snack & snooze, while I complete chores Then again after school pick up have a fun run down Coosebean woods/ cycle track just at the back of my home. I have a large garden that has some holes in the hedge-line, however your dog will be supervised while outside. No toxic plants. Always have access to fresh water, inside and outside
“Alex was great! He was able to accommodate a last minute booking request and took amazing care of our two dogs for the weekend. Communication was brilliant and he sent us regular photo updates of their adventures! Will definitely be booking again!”

“Wow I was so impressed with Mads!! From the get go it was clear she was the right person to take care of my baby while I was away!! Lots of pertinent questions when we first met and great communication while I was away! Upon my return it was so clear that lady had the best time staying with her, with lots of walks and having fun on the beach! Mads is so friendly and great, clearly a massive dog lover and if I ever need to head away again she'll be my first choice 100% Thank you again for everything!!”

“Monika is the first person to ever look after Monty and it was his first time not staying at our house. We were nervous about how he would be but it’s very obvious that he had a fantastic time away! She kept us very informed on how he was doing and I think the chance to spend time with another bigger dog in the house has really improved his behaviour. Super happy with the whole experience and would absolutely recommend Monika to look after your pup!”

“Ashley was amazing from start to finish! I have never left my 10 year old Jug before with anyone other than family and Ashley was undoubtedly the best choice. She has a lovely home and was very welcoming, I recieved photos and could see in these photos my Reggie was happy and loved whilst we were away. I would highly recommend Ashley and I will use her again.”

“Sacha and her family were so welcoming and accommodating given the short notice in arranging my booking. They were thoughtful and went above and beyond what I could have expected. Regular walks each day through to her husband sleeping downstairs with Truff during the first night when he was still clearly agitated and restless exempify the care and consideration shown. Sacha and her family were unfussy about their floors getting dirty from his muddy paws after walks and allowed Truff to cuddle up on the chairs, sofa and beds. None of her house or garden were out-of-bounds to him. I will definitely use Sacha again, if timings work out; particularly now that Truff has become so settled and content in her rural, family home.”

“Harriet was great from the get go, I had a few requests as my one dog has no recall at times and she completed set me at ease and had various solutions for this (courtyard, lunge line etc) She sent regular updates and was photos and even sent me a compilation video of all the walks my girls had been on. They came back and slept non stop 😂 I would definitely recommend and will use Harriet again in the future.”

“Fully recommend Alison. My dog Kai was content and happy to stay. Lovely rural location, but easy to get to. Alison is chatty and nothing is too much trouble - my dog went, briefly on meds during his stay and Alison continued with this.”

About: I have had dogs my entire life. And since I have moved out of home, I have missed having them around. I run every day and love the company of a four legged friend while out on an adventure. I work 5 days a week but work from home 1 day a week. Have a small fenced garden. I work 4 days a week over the weekend. My days off Monday-Wednesday are filled with being outdoors, walking, running and swimming. My flat has a garden but I live a 5 minute walk from a dog friendly beach and a 10 minute walk from a dog friendly grass park in Falmouth. I have grown up with dogs my whole life and since moving out of my family home, have missed the presence of those fury four legged pets. I have a little fenced garden round the back of the property that is private. Have space and capacity to have a crate as I know my own dogs love their crate as it’s their little home in a home
“Kelly, our greyhound, had a wonderful time with Jake and his family. Was grateful I placed her with such a lovely family - thank you guys for looking after Kelly so well. Would 100% use Jake again and would highly recommend. They sent me plenty of pics of Kelly’s exploits which meant I could enjoy my holiday without the worry. So much better than leaving her in kennels.”

“This was Finn and Ottos second stay and was a week boarding. We got regular updates on what the dogs were up to and loads of pictures of them on the beach, walking in the fields and relaxing in the evening. They were obviously being well looked after!”

“Clarrissa was the best dog sitter you could ask for! She made time to meet boe before we went away! She took her on 6km run! And she was amazing with boe’s behaviours, boe can be reactive to other dogs and Clarissa was amazing at adapting to this making sure boe kept safe at all times! She kept us updated all the time through photos and messages! YOU COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER DOG SITTER 1000% WOULD RECOMMEND!!”

“Alexander and Lucy were incredibly helpful in looking after our dog with quite short notice. They were very accommodating and made our weekend run very smoothly, we got pictures of Ruari during the day which put our minds at ease that he was having a good time. We would highly recommend them!”

“I can’t recommend this dog boarding enough! From the moment I dropped off my pup, I felt complete peace of mind. The care, attention, and love given here go far beyond basic boarding—it truly feels like a second home. Updates and photos kept me reassured, and I could tell my dog was happy, safe, and well cared for.”

About: I absolutely love dogs, and am looking for some company as I am by my self working from home every day. I live a short walk from the beach and can take the pups out for walkies on my lunch break! I work from home and make my own schedule, so can be flexible. Will take the pups out for a play and run on the beach on my lunch break. My partner works from home a few days a week, he has grown up woth dogs his whole life. We aren’t in a position to have our own dog at the moment so looking to find the very next best thing! We live in a spacious two bed flat, and have a dog friendly beach and park as our closest neighbours. Your dog would be free to roam around the house but we also have space for a crate.
“Indy had a lovely time with Lee, her son, and their little dog Buddy. She was so exhausted she didn't make a peep all the way home. Lee kept us up to date with daily pictures and videos too. Thank you 😊”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’d walk neighbours dogs growing up which gave me a strong understanding of their different personalities, needs and behaviours from an early age. In addition I’ve spend 5 years caring for exotic animals which has taught me patience, attention to detail and confidence handling a variety of temperaments. I am a proud Cavapoo owner which has deepened my understanding of daily routines, training consistency, exercise needs and the importance of trust and companionship. As a dog walker, I bring reliability, compassion and genuine enthusiasm to every walk. Whether your pup loves energetic adventures or prefers a steady, relaxed stroll, I tailor each walk to suit their individual needs. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and wellbeing are always my top priority, and I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I work full time, but I make dog care a priority in my daily routine. I’m available mornings and evenings during the week for walks, feeding, playtime and lots of love and attention. I also have the flexibility to WFH throughout the week when needed, which can absolutely be discussed prior to booking. On weekends I’m fully flexible and happy to dedicate extra time for longer walks, outings, cuddles or special care routines. Your dog’s comfort, happiness and consistency are always my top priority and I’m committed to providing a safe loving environment. I’m lucky to have a good sized garden that is fully gated and securely fenced, providing a safe space for dog’s to enjoy fresh air and outdoor time. It’s perfect for supervised play, short exercise sessions, or simply relaxing in the sunshine. Safety is always my priority so dogs are never left unattended outside and I make sure the space stays clean and secure at all times.
“Very happy with Herbie’s care this evening. Herbie was very nervous when we arrived and I worried that he might not settle but Laura slowly won him around with her kind and gentle approach. When we went to collect him he was clearly happy and relaxed I really appreciated the photos that Laura sent through the evening which put my mind at rest. Thankyou Laura for a positive experience.”

Pet care is a core part of my daily and weekly routine — not just a job, but a lifestyle I truly love. Each day is planned around the needs of the pets I care for, whether that’s morning walks along the Cornish coast, midday pop-in visits, or evening cuddles for pets staying with me overnight. I build my schedule with plenty of time and flexibility to give every animal my full attention and care. No two days are the same, which is what I enjoy most. From active dogs needing long countryside walks, to older pets who prefer a slower pace and some quiet companionship, I make sure each pet gets the right level of care, stimulation, and love. Weekly, I also spend time checking in with pet owners, updating care plans, and continuing my learning in animal behaviour and first aid. Being fully committed to this work means pets are never an afterthought — they’re at the heart of how I organise my life. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible to reduce stress — from feeding and sleeping schedules to playtime and quiet moments. My home is pet-safe, with secure outdoor space, and I only board a small number of animals at once to ensure individual attention and a peaceful atmosphere. I also carry out careful meet-and-greets beforehand to make sure each pet is a good fit for the home environment. In the Pet Owner’s Home: When visiting or staying in a pet’s own home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would my own. I stick to the owner’s instructions closely, ensuring pets feel safe and relaxed in their familiar surroundings. I always take time to build trust with the animals I care for, using gentle, positive approaches to make each interaction reassuring and enjoyable. In both settings, I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and trained in pet first aid. I keep open communication with pet owners through regular updates, photos, and check-ins — so they feel confident and reassured while they’re away.

About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for animals. Alongside owning dogs myself, I've volunteered with animal shelters both in the UK and abroad, caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, backgrounds and needs. I've also spent time volunteering with wildlife conservation projects, giving me experience working with animals of all kinds. I work from home full time, so your dog will have plenty of company, supervision and attention throughout the day. My home is spacious and can be separated into different areas if dogs need their own space, and I also have a large garden for playtime, sniffing adventures and relaxing in the sunshine. I share my home with my two rescue dogs, Zuri and Amara, who are both friendly, well-socialised and comfortable around dogs of all sizes. Their story is a special one. I first met them while volunteering at an animal shelter in Morocco. Zuri arrived at the shelter after being hit by a car and sadly lost one of his front legs as a result. My family helped cover his veterinary treatment while the shelter cared for him during his recovery. I later returned to Morocco to volunteer at the shelter for a month and completely fell in love with him, so I arranged for him to come home with me to the UK. While volunteering, I also met Amara. She quickly stole my heart too, but at the time I wasn't able to adopt her. A year and a half later, after moving into my home in Cornwall and knowing she was still waiting for her forever family, I travelled back to Morocco and brought her home as well. Both dogs have settled beautifully into life in Cornwall and love having canine visitors. Their rescue journeys have taught me so much about dog behaviour, patience, confidence building and making every dog feel safe and comfortable in a new environment. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your dog, and I treat every dog in my care as if they were one of my own. I'm always happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand to make sure everyone is a good match, and I look forward to welcoming your dog into our home-from-home environment 🐾❤️ I work remotely most of the time, I'm sometimes needed in the office but this is rare - if this will be the case during a time period of house sitting I will flag this when you make the request! My house: Have a fenced garden and a baby gate between upstairs and downstairs. I feed all my pets separately and I have a crate available of my own.

About: Hi, I'm Bella. I have always loved dogs especially sight hounds and previously owned a whippet called Poppy. I enjoy nothing better than taking a dog for a long walk on the beach or through the woods, seeing them enjoying themselves and being sleepy and relaxed after a good run. I have previously looked after greyhounds, sausage dogs, Italian Greyhounds, Whippets, an Irish Wolfhound cross, Frenchie, Labrador Siberian Husky’s, Cockapoos and Cavapoos and understand all dogs and breeds have different needs & requirements to feel happy, safe, secure and loved. I love getting to know their individual personalities and understand that pets are like members of the family and treat them as I would my own dog with love, care and affection when in my care. I am able to keep pets company all day ensuring they get plenty of walks, toilet breaks and are well fed. If dogs are nervous or uncomfortable around other dogs I ensure that they are cared for one individual dog at a time. I ensure dogs are on leads unless I have guidance from their owner that they have good recall and are happy for them to be take off lead only in safe places. I can offer in home care in peoples homes or my own which has a large garden.
“Wallace spent the day with Ashley and Walter as a trial before a 3 night sleepover. Ashley was absolutely fantastic with Wallace. She was completely unfazed by Wallace’s lively personality: she is calm and obviously knows what she is doing. She sent regular updates on how Wallace was settling and we will have no hesitation leaving Wallace in the safe hands of Ashley and Walter in the future. It is a true home from home experience.”

“Kyal, was absolutely fabulous with our labradoodle Milo whom he looked after whilst we attended our daughters graduation. He took him for a long walk along the coast line to Flushing beach and sent wonderful pictures of their time together. Milo even had a dip in the sea . He had so much fun that he slept as soon as we got home. Thanks for taking care of Milo Kyal.”

I love all animals and would love to welcome yours into my home! I’m Also planning on doing a dog first aid and CPR course once I get approved on Rover. Im very lucky to have time on my hands, as I am self employed. And can be at home with your pet all day. I love going on dog walks in my surrounding countryside and on the beaches. I have a large private garden with only a cat for company. I live in a very secluded, peaceful rural area. About: Hi! I'm Rhianna and I love animals. I have just moved back to Falmouth, and will be working from home full time. I had to move to Oxford for two years for work and, now I’m back looking for new clients. Regular or casual! Though regular is preferred if you are looking for someone to frequently walk / sit your pet friends. A little about me: I grew up on my family's very rural, solar-powered, Welsh mountain farm, where we have Welsh sheep, Highland cows, horses, ducks, doves, geese, chickens, Guinea fowl, a cat, oh... and nine working collie dogs, and two silly Scottish terriers. I've spent my entire life around animals, and feel like I am fully versed in knowing what they need. Family friends have said that I was, “raised by the dogs,” as my family were always busy working the farm, and the dogs were my mentors and play mates. I’ve been around dogs all of my life, and I had my first own dog, Floss, at four years old. She was a lassie collie x border collie and she was my best friend. I then had her son, Oslo, who grew up with me, lived with me during university, and also after when I moved onto a sailing boat. He was (I know we all think this!), without doubt, the best dog a girl could’ve wished for, and it broke my entire heart when I lost him to lymphoma in the summer of 2021. I miss his fluffy presence terribly, and as a way to fill the void I thought I’d put myself on Rover to see if anyone wants a trusted and fun dog walker. It turns out that they do and since I’ve started I have walked many many wonderful pups (of all breeds!), sat many lovely cats, met many kind owners, and have had a lot of fun. I go for lovely long walks, love and understand dogs, and am offering my services as a house sitter, and dog walker. Please read my ‘testimonials’ to have a glance at what other owners think of my services. Most of my clients come from word of mouth, and so by no means all the clients I’ve worked with have left reviews. At this point I’ve worked with over 50 pet owners, with all types of pets: dogs of all sizes, chickens, ducks, cats of all temperaments, fish, horses, and even a snake! Over the past 15 years or so, I have gained experience dog walking for a boarding kennels in Wales, training dogs (both on the farm for working, and for agility too), various house sitting experiences, at a riding stables in the Welsh mountains, an estancia in Patagonia de Chile, and a Polo ranch in Argentina! A couple of extras: Please state if your dog cannot go off the lead when booking. This isn’t a problem, but will help me to plan our day better. I'm tidy, prompt, trustworthy, and reliable. I will leave your house exactly as I found it, if not a little tidier. Your dogs will be taken for regular toilet breaks, on lovely walks to suit their fitness and age - and will be treated as if they are my own. I like to spend as much time as possible outdoors. I’m active and enjoy most water based sports, horse riding, and am happiest out and about with a lead, paddle, or reins in hand. I am also comfortable administering medication to your pets, both oral, eye drops, and if needed jabs. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me! I can tailor your dog’s walk to fit in with my day, and to maximise the activities I can do with your pet - just let me know a day or so advance so I can organise myself! Your animals will live by the same rules that you set for them in your home so that it is consistent. I don’t offer boarding (unless we get to know each other very well, and your dog is relatively small!).
“Katie was so great with both me and Watson! It was my first time booking with Rover and she was really helpful in supporting me to book and with enquiries. Watson is usually a bit anxious with new people and when I leave him, but when I picked him up he was flat out asleep on the sofa with Katie's housemates and seemed completely comfortable. I am delighted and would definitely ask Katie to watch Watson again in future.”

“Tammy was absolutely wonderful! She immediately put us at ease by giving us a tour of her home, and her backyard was perfect for my dog, who loves to sunbathe. She’s a thoughtful and careful caretaker, and I could tell my dog felt comfortable and happy with her. I will absolutely book again :)”

“Shaun and his family were so welcoming and looked after Melvin for the day whilst we were on holiday. Shaun was really informative and also asked us lots of questions before the day making sure Melvin was going to be well looked after. During the stay we had regular updates and photos. Melvin was very relaxed and happy at pick up and we were delighted with Shaun’s care! We would HIGHLY recommend and will certainly be booking Melvin in again when we are next back. Huge thanks!”

“Gus has had a wonderful time with Louise and her partner we can't thank her enough! When we collected Gus he seemed really calm and responsive like he's been on his own little retreat from his family. Louise communicated really well and let me no everything that Gus was getting up to including finding out about Gus's needs.”

“Poppy is SO lovely & friendly and took amazing care of Ralph! He looked very happy and comfortable in her company and I was so at ease knowing he was in safe hands. I'd 100% recommend Poppy to anyone looking for support with dog daycare!”

“Chelle was an absolute dream to have as a dog sitter - we got to do a virtual meet beforehand of the humans and dogs, I got updates, photos and videos throughout the day which was so reassuring and I came back to a very hapoy dog. Very clear that Chelle knows what she is doing and cares about the pups. Will definitely be looking to book in again when I'm down :D”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and absolutely love being around them. I’ve looked after all sorts of breeds, including high-energy dogs that need a good run around and lots of attention. I run my own local business, Peacocks Pet Services, offering dog walking, drop-ins and pet sitting. Whether your dog loves a long walk or just some company during the day, I’ll make sure they’re happy, safe and well looked after. I’m easy to communicate with, flexible, and treat every dog like my own. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I always keep owners updated and make sure your dog feels comfortable and cared for. I run my own business Peacocks Pet Services. I currently have availability a few days a week and have another pet sitter/walker who can stand in on days I am booked I only offer services in the clients home. I will meet with you prior to the pet sitting/walking to discuss your requirements and needs for your pet
About: I've always had cats, hamsters, dogs, birds, rabbits and many more animals around me whilst growing up. I am confident with all animals, no matter size, species or temperament! I worked in a boarding cattery for 5 years, a kennels for 3 years and have volunteered on and off for charities such as Cinnamon Trust, RSPCA and Russet Greyhound Sanctuary. I am currently unemployed but working on a small craft business which takes up very little of my time, so I have plenty of time for all your fur babies! I am available any days and any times, I won't have anything to warrant me leaving your pets at all, either :-) I have a fully secured/fenced garden and will be able to stay with your pet the entire time if required. Whilst on walks, I ensure that the dogs in my care are always in my sight and I never take them anywhere that they may be at risk.
“Cara was fantastic! She was on time, sent lots of pictures, and Albie had long, awesome walks with her! He was super happy when I got home. I would totally book again. Thanks again, Cara.”

About: My husband and I have housesitted on another platform for 2+ years in the UK, US, Germany and Japan. Meeting and caring for the animals is always our favourite part about the trip and would love to continue. I’m currently self-employed and working remotely on my masters degree. I am available to dedicate as much time as needed to your beloved pet(s) to make them feel at ease and comfortable. I do not offer pet care in my own home as I believe this creates a barrier between them and me. I want to feel like they trust me. I follow routines set by owners and try to make their routine as normal as possible. If they are happy with you they are happy with me.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of care, patience, and individual attention I give every pet. I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, having been raised with Gordon Setters, and as an adult I’ve always owned Dachshunds, so caring for dogs is second nature to me. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. I have experience with puppies, including basic training, toilet routines, and socialisation, as well as senior dogs who may need a gentler approach, medication, and slower-paced walks. Having owned Dachshunds, I’m especially mindful of handling, back care, and appropriate exercise. I’m confident following detailed care instructions and maintaining established routines. I also keep owners regularly updated with messages and photos so they can feel completely at ease while their pets are in my care. I’m calm, reliable, and attentive, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. My aim is always to provide a safe, happy, and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. I am a single mum who works part time and from home, and dog walks and beach strolls are a part of my day so your pooch will have plenty of love and attention. I have a small fenced in garden for the dogs to play and Walter is happy to keep your dog company along with my 10 year old who is obsessed with all dogs.

About: I have had animals my whole life including dogs, cats, chickens, a pony and a pig! I currently work five days a week however this is term time only. During school term time I can do drop ins or walks after work (I finish at either 4pm or 5pm in Truro) around the Truro and St Austell area and I can do walks, pop ins and dog sitting at weekends and during school holidays. I am located around the Sticker area near St Austell. I will thoroughly enjoy looking after and walking your pets, I am very good with most breeds and I would treat your dogs/cats/all pets(!) as my own when I am with them. My dogs at home have always been schnauzers, Jack Russell's and labradors so I am especially good with these breeds, and I have also had a tuxedo cat previously who was an ex stray. I'm currently working in a school so I'm available late afternoons and evenings after work, as well as weekends and school holidays depending on availability and your location. I have a dog guard in my car so if I needed to take your dogs out I could do easily. I also have business insurance on my car. I'm very attentive and can follow any house rules you have regarding your pets or do any preferred walks if required
About: My whole life I’ve been surrounded by dogs, I even grew up with Irish wolfhounds, so know how to handle the larger breeds. I’m very reliable and have walked dogs for a long time, and due to my love for animals, I’ll enjoy walking your dog just as much as they will. Im currently working a part time job so have plenty of free time to walk and play with your pups! I would love to pursue dog walking as a full time job and therefore my availability is very flexible. I have a large, fenced, secure garden and will keep you dogs entertained in their favourite way. Whether that be playing fetch or cuddling up with tummy scratches!!
“Kyal is awesome. He took the time to meet Albie (and me) before their walks together, showed up promptly (and let me know he’d arrived), sent pics of a very happy pooch, and I came home to a super content setter each day. What more could I ask for?! Thanks so much Kyal. Albie looks forward to seeing you again soon.”

About: I dont have much pet care experience apart from my own dog, but she is four now and i am very attentive to her needs. My schedule varies, so i am very good with figuring out last minute how to better cater to my dogs needs I work part time so on my days off i am quite free. My schedule can work around yours, so i can adapt to routine. My schedule at work can be somehwat last minute, so i am also happy to look after pets last minute. i have a back door and a back gate, my dog also goes out with a dog walker two times a week so i understand the need for trust.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have many years of hands-on experience caring for them. I currently own a 10-year-old Lakeland Terrier and understand the needs of both active and senior dogs. I’ve completed voluntary shifts with the RSPCA, helping with dog walking, socialisation, and plenty of cuddles. I’m also training as a dog groomer, giving me added knowledge of dog handling, coat care, and overall wellbeing. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely love working with dogs. I am currently working full time at the hours of 9-5, however I consistently have the whole of Fridays free throughout the year for walking fur babies. I have a large high fenced garden providing a safe exercise space for your doggies. This will be shared with a small 10 year old Lakeland terrier.

About: I’ve always taken care of the pets of my friends, family and neighbours and have recently been using the borrow-my-doggy app to help look after the dogs of locals on a volunteering basis. This has included walking the dogs and having them overnight, with one client saying she teared up because of how helpful I was! I currently have no fixed working hours, so I am completely flexible! I can be a morning person or night owl depending on your pet, in order to adapt to their schedule in the most convenient way possible for you and them. I have a spacious area with 4 rooms and a hallway to allow your pet space to roam and run free, before heading out to the many amazing walking areas right in front of the gated property I live in. I have dog toys from when I looked after previous dogs and food/water bowls suitable for both dogs and cats. There’s never anything sharp or dangerous or in the way on the tidy floor of my house, making it the perfect place for your pet to roll around or play-fight, or just to rest after we’ve walked, played, cuddled, trained.. whatever your pet wants:)

“Highly professional and friendly. Mavis has been really highly strung due to a lot of building work going on but Jenny and Jo have been super understanding and have taken it in their stride.”

I am always looking forward on spending some time with a four legged friend! I have a quiet backyard, it has a lovely shade and it’s very peaceful, so it is perfect for a day sitting. For the night I am happy to have your pet over unless it’s a big dog then I would prefer staying over at the owner’s home. I am very tidy and respectful, I will leave your house just as I have found it and I do believe the animal will feel safer being at their own home.

“Alex was great! He was able to accommodate a last minute booking request and took amazing care of our two dogs for the weekend. Communication was brilliant and he sent us regular photo updates of their adventures! Will definitely be booking again!”

“Our dog took to Callan straight away and went to his door without looking back at us! On pick up 24 hours later - although happy to see us - she kept going back to his front door waiting to be let back in! We had photos sent while she was there, and updates. Would definitely use Callan again. We're from London and was attending a festival in Perranporth. We holiday in Cornwall a few times a year and now we have Callan, we can visit places where dogs aren't allowed which we've had to avoid previously.”

“Poppy greeted Luna warmly and Luna trotted off with her without even a backward glance. Lots of photos and updates of a very good afternoon of walks on the beach and cuddles on the sofa. Luna’s perfect day.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and have hands‑on experience with a wide range of personalities and needs. At home we have a 10‑year‑old who we’ve raised from a puppy, as well as a rescue dog who joined our family later on, so I’m used to supporting both confident, settled dogs and those who need a gentler, more patient approach. Caring for dogs has always been part of daily life for me, and that experience shapes the calm, reliable and attentive care I offer through Meadow Mutts. Dog care is my full‑time focus, and it fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day for walks, visits, playtime and settling dogs in. Our own dogs are part of our everyday rhythm, and welcoming guest dogs into that routine feels completely natural. Whether it’s weekday walks, daytime care or overnight stays, I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention, consistency and company. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. Our home is calm, secure and set up for dogs to relax, with safe enclosed areas and plenty of space to settle in. I supervise dogs closely, follow their usual routines and take time to understand their needs, whether they’re confident, nervous or somewhere in between. With our own well‑mannered dogs and a peaceful rural setting, visiting dogs enjoy a safe, steady environment where they can feel completely at ease.
“Reg had the best time and Hannah and her family were so lovely. Their dog was also super friendly and Reggie seemed to love her too. Hannah sent lots of pictures and gave lots of updates which were great and if I were in Newquay again I would definitely get back in touch - thanks so much!”

“Abi is an excellent dog sitter. Both of our dogs adore her! They were so excited when she arrived to look after them for the weekend, it was wonderful to see. I had no concerns leaving them in her care, and revived regular pictures and updates; they had a fabulous time and I'm sure Abi will become a regular in their lives whenever we are away.”

About: I have always loved animals and feel calm and comfortable around both dogs and cats. I grew up around dogs, as my grandparents had a German Shepherd, so I understand how loyal, sensitive and individual they can be. Most of my personal experience is with cats, and I really enjoy caring for them, understanding their personalities and giving them space, patience and attention when they need it. I also worked with cows and calves for almost two years, which taught me a lot about patience, routine, animal behaviour and staying calm around animals of different sizes and temperaments. My partner also has many years of experience with dogs, including caring for a Jack Russell and a Beagle for around 14 years, so dogs are very welcome in our home too. I am self-employed and work flexibly, which means I can give pets plenty of attention, comfort and care during their stay. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, rest, basic cleaning and photo updates. I am self-employed and have a flexible schedule, so pet care can fit well into my daily routine. I’m usually available for boarding and day care on selected days, and I can give pets regular attention, toilet breaks, walks, feeding and quiet rest time throughout the day. I provide a calm, safe and homely environment in a quiet countryside area. We have a semi-enclosed outdoor space and are surrounded by fields, including a beautiful daffodil field nearby. The garden is not fully fenced, so pets are always supervised when outside. I take extra care with young dogs, nervous dogs or dogs who may try to escape, and I will always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. We have a cat who spends most of his time outdoors, and I only accept pets that are comfortable or manageable around cats. I always manage space and introductions carefully to keep everyone safe and relaxed.
“Curtis kept me updated at the end of every day with plenty of pictures and information about how Obi had got on that day. I am a worry dog-mummy so the regular updates kept me well-informed and allowed me to enjoy my holiday, knowing Obi was having a great time as well! He has come home happy, healthy and very well looked after. Thank you so much Curtis for taking such good care of my Obes.”
